Menu is quite limited but the pulpo and beef belly we ordered were really good. Cocktails (gayuma & asiong) had a hit to them as well. Their chairs are my favorite. They squeak and lean back.

The last time I visited was for drinks only (cocktails were great) and we couldn’t get any seats and that’s how popular it was so I decided to come for a proper dinner with a booking next time which is this.As a foreigner, I’d be honest that lots of words on the menu made no sense to me so I did quite a bit of Google plus some help from my local friends to get what’s what prior coming here. The concept is common Filipino food with a modern twist so expect a lot of names of the local dishes.The food was delicious! All the dishes we’ve got were very well prepared. All the entree/appetisers were yum! Rice cups was one of my fav. I thought all the cups were the same but they weren’t! There’re two different cups. Even the chicken breast which I wouldn’t usually order was amazingly tender and well cooked. Btw. the size of Main dish was pretty generous. The night ended with a perfect mango tres leches.My company wasnt the most adventurous foodies (Aussie). However, even they said they’d come back again and safely recommend more western friends.

Quite a hole in the wall, literally. You'd have to enter a very narrow hallway, then up the stairs to get to the restaurant. Food was good, but in small servings. The service was really good, they know all their dishes and drinks.

Hands down 5* experience. Visiting Manila for a couple of days and was keen to try this restaurant. Top-class service, modern twists on Filipino food and flavour, great cocktails and a vibey setting in an edgy part of Makati. We booked through Mr Lawrence on WhatsApp, who took the time to go through the menu with us, making recommendations. Highly recommended.

Ένα υπέροχο μέρος για φαγητό στο Poblacion. Το φαγητό είναι καλό, αλλά ο συνδυασμός των ειδών που πήραμε ήταν λίγο πολύ λιπαρός για τις προτιμήσεις μας. Νομίζω ότι χρειαζόμασταν περισσότερο ρύζι. 😅Ανεξάρτητα, η ατμόσφαιρα ήταν υπέροχη, το προσωπικό ήταν πολύ εξυπηρετικό και εξυπηρετικό (βγάζουν και καλές φωτογραφίες lol) και η επιλογή ποτών αξίζει να επιστρέψουμε.

I adore this rooftop restaurant and bar! The staff is really fantastic and considerate of all needs. The environment is peaceful, the drinks are excellent, the food is fantastic, and there is a beautiful view of the city below. Despite the fact that the area is generally warm, there is frequently a breeze coming through to help with the heat. The lovely hotel pool is only a few steps away, and the neighborhood is very tidy and tranquil. Since I am currently staying at the City Garden Grand Hotel, where the restaurant is located, I will probably visit there immediately after I publish this report.

I absolutely adore this rooftop restaurant bar! The staff here is incredibly amazing and attentive to every single need. The food is simply exquisite, the drinks are top-notch, and the atmosphere is incredibly relaxing. Not to mention, the stunning view of the city below adds to the overall charm. Despite the general heat of the area, there's always a refreshing breeze that sweeps through, making it even more delightful. The entire place is impeccably clean and creates a serene ambiance, especially with the lovely hotel pool just a few steps away. In fact, I can't wait to head up to the restaurant shortly after finishing this post since I'm currently staying at the City Garden Grand Hotel where it's conveniently located.

Absolutely love this rooftop restaurant / bar ! The staff is completely awesome and attentive to all needs. The food is delicious, drinks great, atmosphere relaxing and provides a great view of the city below. Although the general area is hot, there's usually more of a breeze passing through to ease some of that. The area is very clean and relaxing with the beautiful hotel pool mere feet away. In fact, I will probably go up to the restaurant shortly after this post since I am presently staying at the City Garden Grand Hotel where it's located.

It is best to dine here at night, you can have the stunning view of Makati lights and buildings at night. The servers were approachable, and nice.I am not satisfied how their food taste, the gambas was too salty, adobo tasted dry and it was just reheated. It seems it was left over from the other day, the coleslaw is spoiled.Although I would still recommend the place if you only prefer to drink and chill. What I like also is that they don't have 3 percent service charge, drinks, cocktails, menu prices are just okay and not too expensive.Will still come here on my next visit in Makati.

Ate here 4 years ago. The place is cozy and offers a good view of Makati City. Good food and service but you have to wait a little bit for it to be served. I'll definitely come back and bring my friends to experience it altogether.

First of all I want to say that the place is very beautiful, it feels fresh and very lively. The food is also very good, especially the pizzas and even the drinks.I would like to thank the staff who assisted us throughout our stay at Firefly, especially Capt. Trixie who reserved our table and took care of us on the roof-deck and also to "Boss Mac"(Bartender Mark) who served us great drinks and for me, they deserve a raise. First time here...Great view of the Makati skyline. The food arrived after 40mins. The pasta and nachos are okay. The classic mojitos is not that strong though. The only downside is the open kitchen. The smoke coming out from there makes my eyes water and our clothes smell like barbecue which is not okay. They should have placed an all glass enclosure to prevent the smoke from coming out. Even my hair smells like food. It feels like I'm in an ihaw-ihaw place. It ruins the feel of a hotel ambience ☹️

Sometimes I want to see a beautiful night view. I like rooftop restaurants near the starrysky. This hotel is also open to non-guests, butreservations are required for seats with a view of the night view. The city of Manila where the lights turn on one after another from the time the sun goes down towards the night. The lights of the cars in the traffic jam are also an important part of this night view. Very nice and enjoyed with cocktails. The night sky that day was covered with clouds, and I was shaken by the starry sky again. Next time, with someone you can enjoy together!

We went there yesterday to celebrate valentines day. The place is awesome. However, the food that was included in their valentine menu was not complete. the steak that we want is out of stock alreadv! we ask pa the waiter to double check if wala na talaga.. so kunwari chineck ni waiter then pagbalik sa amin sorry wala na daw talaga.I knw we were the last batch, but for us, if you're going to promote this kind of event make sure to accommodate or serve the food that you're offering to each and everyone who booked that day. we chose to eat here because we want the steak. So we have no choice but to eat the available ones.. ending, we went home disappointed.

View is great like Firefly, only located in a lower elevation. Food is fine and in affordable price. Restaurant is a little small, just enough for few guests. Overall, experience is still 5/5. Thanks for the staff for assisting me on lighting my friend’s cake (and singing “happy birthday” with me haha)!

Great view from the roof. Went up for a quick supper and did some work on my laptop.The food was basic nothing to shout about. The service was good. Too bad it close at 10pm, else a great night for more drinks.Avoid going the day time as it’s warm and noisy as the swimming pool is next to it.

Fair Review.Pros: View, Ambiance/vibe, PriceCons: Speed, Attentiveness, Food menuArrived at 6 pm on Saturday. Only one other table with two people. The view is spectacular. Recommend going at dusk. Smooth jazz/Caribbean/adult contemporary music playing at volume that perfect to still be able to talk/listen to a private conversation. And it looks like they removed some of the lights so not so intense. The menu seems limited. It's very basic Mexican and American fair. But your really paying for the view and venue. Took ten minutes to get a beer, and another twenty minutes for a burger. Cool place to visit once.

Pricey but worth it. I appreciate that they proactively recooked my meal due it being overcooked (before sending it out to me), but I had to wait for a total of around 30 to 40 minutes before I got the chance to eat. Other than that, it was perfect.

Ever since we touched down Manila, people are recommending Blackbird and I can totally understand why. Good food l, good service, nice ambience. Try their hanging australian steak and tiger prawn with konbu rice. I went a picky eater friend and she devoured the meal. The moment I had my first bite here, I regret every in room dining I ordered earlier. Because their price is wayy cheaper and the food is much better.Dont forget to try their dessert, VERY VERY GOOD.

The experience was amazing! It really is one of the best brunch places in the metro! The servings were good for the price point. Of course, we're also there for the aesthetic. The only concern I had was with the servers. I have a nut allergy and asked the server if one of our food items had nuts in it. She went and asked the chefs and said there were none. But made it feel like it was our fault for not informing them in advance through her tone. Nonetheless, an enjoyable experience and great food.

Disappointing. Expensive below average food. Steak was ok but you can find better in that price range in Makati. The seafood platter was more disappointing. It had so much tasteless crunchy noodles, nothing special on the seafood. Cocktails easily got watered down. I rarely give below rating reviews but I don't get why this restaurant is hyped.It seems that people come here to socialize as the ambiance is good, everyone was well dressed. But don't come here for food. I think people pay for exclusivity because the food was average. The location was historical so that was cool. For us, we prefer to pay for great food. If food was great, I wouldn't mind the price. Splurge in other restaurants nearby.Staff was attentive and professional.

First time to be here. Whereas the food is less outstanding, the ambiance and service are exceptional.Made a reservation to catch up with my siblings whom I have not seen for years. Glad that we were seated on the second floor, which have a more intimate vibe. Was also happy with Harvey’s attentiveness to everything we need.Price-wise, it was OK. Taste may be made more flavourful although the steak was cooked just fine.

Almost a 5! But foods were only a 4. Service was excellent and desserts were awesome. We chose indoor as it was hot in Manila. The restaurant is super small so book early. Outside seatings would be good in the evening. Oh cheese fries were my favorite!

Underwhelming.Braved to go here after seeing high reviews but apparently, I didn’t have the same experience as the others. The place’s small and get hot regardless of the time.It’s not that I didn’t like the food, but it wasn’t something I expected provided their prices. Cramped place with high ceilings and poor ventilation. Prepare to sweat if you have lunch here. We were easily able to snag a reservation half an hour prior to arriving. Good thing too cos the place was full. Service is excellent, they kept the water topped off at all times and were knowledgeable. Food was underwhelming. I expected more. Lobster river prawn lasagna and truffle cream fries were a let down. Salad wouldn't compute in my head taste wise. Not coming back ig.

Food was beyond amazing! The caviar and prosciutto appetizers with spinach cream were the perfect small bite and so delicious. I haven’t had anything like it before! I got the truffle, and it was delicious. My tita got the ravioli and loved it. For dessert, we had sans rival, and it was also good. The pasta alone is a standout, I will definitely recommend to family and friends! Atmosphere is also beautiful and classy.

Celebrated early Christmas lunch at Lusso!Table service was very good. The staff were attentive and they can explain to you every detail of their menu.Food was good, top notch! We love their foie gras appetizer and the barquillos!Their menu is a bit on the pricey side, but if you are willing to pay for good food + the exceptional service, this is one of those restos that fit the bill, enjoy!

My wife and I are celebrating valentines a bit early to avoid the crowds. While It's nice to see people out and about, we still didn't want to risk getting the virus. But I must say, out of all the "new normal" feels the past couple of years, this might be the closest to pre-pandemic levels. Walking around Glorietta, Landmark, and Greenbelt reminded me how lucky we were prior to the pandemic and that we shouldn't take anything for granted. This added a reason for us to celebrate and we found a place that we have not tried yet.Lusso is part of Margarita Forès' group of restaurants which also includes Cibo. No wonder the staff were friendly and welcoming! They found a way to accommodate us despite all tables marked as reserved.The food was awesome! From the truffle fries, lobster soup, all the way to the angus steak and kurobota pork, our knives wouldn't leave our busy hands.If you are celebrating, Lusso should definitely be on your list.

Once again, the bistro group disappoints. Las flores, bcn and rambla food just ok but for the price? It's actually disappointing. We ordered salmon air, wagyu bombas, pork belly, pulpo and Mushroom paella. Nothing stood out. Drinks were nice tho we ordered hula hulas and peach Martinis.

Overall the food, service and atmosphere were great. Just some appetizers in my opinion felt lackluster in light of the price point.We ordered the platter A and B which saved us around 1000 pesos and added jamon air baguette for appetizer.The paellas were both good with the flavor being unique as compared to other paellas I have tasted. They were both very flavorful and you really taste what is unique in these paellas. Both were moist and soft with a mix of crunch from the rice at the bottom of the pan.For the appetizers, most tasted as expected of the dishes. The croquettes tasted as expected of a croquette and were delicious. For the price point though, it makes me think twice of ordering it again. The wagyu croquette was the worst one of the croquettes and I would not recommend ordering it.The callos felt like the usual callos, but in terms of the amount of oxtail and the quality of the chorizo, it was a great dish as an appetizer even without rice.The fried squid was good as it was salty and it just satisfies that salty craving for me.The air baguette was also delicious. It was a new experience for me as the "baguette" is like a thin layer of crispy crust with filling inside of it. So it was a great experience of taste and feel. I would recommend trying this at least once even considering the price of this.Service is also to be praised in this restaurant with all the servers friendly and very alert. They would refill our water automatically if it was low and would take the plates as they were emptied. Really a great experience because of the great service as well.Atmosphere is great too, with the place being a nice place to eat with friends.

This is our first time trying their seafood paella, fried baby squid, potatoes, churro with chocolate and ice-cream, lemon tea and calamansi tea. Everything tasted delicious. Loved their indoor decor. Great service and friendly staffs. High recommend to try their paella here.

Good place to satisfy Spanish food cravings.Obviously, paella takes time to cook (30-40 minutes) so best to order appetizers especially if already hungry. Best ones we got were carpaccio de ternera (beef carpaccio with sundried tomato dressing and truffle cream) and wagyu bombas. Gambas al ajillo was just okay.Tried paella setas (mushroom truffle aioli) -- although it was delicious, it lacked that truffle flavor and could barely taste this even with the cream.Avoid dining in their al fresco area because there were a lot of flies in the 2x we sat there.

Short of visiting Spain itself, I would be hard pressed to find a better restaurant serving this type of cuisine in Southeast Asia. The octopus is excellent and you gotta get the tuna cones.

Food - the iced dalandan is good. However, the lamb kebab (as seen in the photo) is a bit salty for my taste even when with dip on the yogurt and hummus at the side. The serving portion is just right for a petite girl but could be not enough for a man.Service - the waiter assigned is attentive enough from taking our orders and handling our change.Atmosphere - this place is cozy and perfect for lunch dates and small group dining. Impeccable service— the wait staff was in tune the whole night.Ambience was cool and luxurious. Spacious seating area.From the photos, I guess the best for us was the burata appetizer. The wagyu burger was —- in other reviews, was recommended but I have really tasted better. The bread was good. Fries could use some improvement.The steak was soft and on point. The sauce was also a must try.I could not take dessert photos— but we tried two. You can’t make a mistake . Try their ice cream since they’re delicious. You can skip coffee since it was over roasted.

Love the ambiance. It's definitely a nice place to celebrate any special occasion. However, service was average as they did not come around to fill our water nor collect the empty dishes when we were done. The food was satisfactory, but not out of the world.

After a disappointing experience at a nearby restaurant that resulted in me walking out I wasn’t sure what to expect here. Thankfully everything was brilliant, seated quickly with fantastic table service and the food arrived directly not long after. I kept things simple with just a main course of steak and was not disappointed. Quite possibly one of the nicest pieces I have consumed in awhile with an awesome side of chunky chips. Can’t wait to go back next week.

Great place and good food!With the amazing ambience and fantastic food, our experience at the Sala Bistro was more than memorable. Each steak was cooked perfectly and tasted phenomenal, being exactly the rarity we had requested. Our drinks complimented the meal superbly, introducing a welcome and sweet freshness that enlightened our tastebuds. Further, the deserts were exquisite and refreshing. Altogether, we would most definitely come back for another lunch when we can.

Devilled egg salad is ok, just a normal typical salad. The margherita pizza is also ok even their toffee pudding is ok, in fact I didn't like it. Since I am used to the price range of this kind I can't say if their food is too pricey for the taste but it's my birthday and I am not satisfied with all of the food. I was expecting for everything to be superb. Dean and Deluca is much better.We also ordered lamb shank and hossein has a better lamb recipe.Anyway, I love their Linguine though, I feel like you can put the sauce on rice. Haha. Their prawn cocktail is scrumptuous - I love this the most.I'm not into wine but since I wanted my day to be different I ordered sparkling wine and I didn't like it - smells and tastes like beer. Haha.Overall, I only like 2 out of the 6 food that we ordered. If you are not into any alcoholic beverages or if you hate it, try drinking sparkling wine, you'll hate it even more. HahaI'm sad because I want to foodgasm on my birthday and I'm so dry right now. Haha. This resto disappointed me -_-

This restaurant in Manila and I have to say, it was one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time. The steak meat was absolutely incredible, cooked to perfection with a delicious sear and melt-in-your-mouth tenderness.As someone who has tried many steakhouses in Manila, I can confidently say that this restaurant has the best steak meat I've ever tasted. It was clear that the chefs use only the highest quality ingredients and take great care in preparing each dish.The staff was also incredibly friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to make sure our dining experience was perfect. Amazing steak place in Manila! Steak was perfectly cooked, also there were various types of cuts available to choose from. Picked the rib eye which was so good. The steak came with unlimited warm and cold sides and veggies like mashedpo, roasted garlic, side salad, bbq corn, to name a few. The tomato soup serving was very generous (good enough for 2 people). Overall, an excellent dining experience, definitely go if you want a special steak meal.

Service was overall speedy and commendable, despite the lunch rush they were able to quickly serve our food, while occasionally asking how guests are doing. The food is magnificent, truly one I’d love to go back to.My fave is the Spinach Ravioli I ordered, as it was my first time to eat ravioli yet it exceeded my expectations.Truly a gem in Makati. Would go back again for more.

Pastas are good to share, especially if you're a large group! Service is always good and consistent. We asked for a substitution of the pasta for their garganelli and they obliged. We got lucky that they had a table available the night we were there but definitely reserve a table in advance if you want sure seats or a table inside the restaurant.

Went here Sunday afternoon and it was packed. This is a very popular restaurant. The food was very good and on the expensive side.We ordered the Garganelli Bianco pasta which had Truffle Butter, Cream, Peas, Prosciutto di Parma. The garganelli was fresh and delicious. They’re a bit restrained on the truffle but the prosciutto was very good.I really enjoyed the Trippa Fritta which is deep fried tripe. Think of it as crispy calamares with tripe. Crunchy breading and tender tripe. Wish I ordered beer.The Bistecca a mano was okay. It was tender but I thought it was a bit underseasoned.For dessert we have the tiramisu which was very tasty but on the watery side.About the vibe—its a bit noisy inside so if you go there expecting a nice quiet dinner you probably will be disappointed. I didn’t mind. I thought it added to the vibe of the place.The music was loud, not blaring, but loud. The chattering of the guests seemed amplified especially the shrieking of the teens behind us. And then there’s the expediter who shouts out the orders to the kitchen in order to keep the orders moving efficiently.There were a lot of comments about slow service but in our case, the food was served about 15mins after we ordered. The staff were polite and attentive.

This was our first time trying a mano, and it was delicious! The name stands for "handmade" and this truly shines. Everything from the doughs, pastas, sauces, and sides are all made in house on premise, and they've nailed it. Luxury, Italian comfort food, at its finest. 👌 The restaurant was recently featured as a top restaurant in Manila, and is subsequently very busy. It can be challenging to do a walk in, and they restaurant itself recommends 5 days ahead reservations. It was quite crowded when we went.Onto the food: The pizza was great: thin but not soggy center with several cheese, fluffy outer crust, charred but not burnt, and nice honey drizzle for contrast, this is some of the best pizza in the Philippines!The Occo Busso was excellent. Rich creamy polenta overlain with a savory meat sauce and succulent falling apart veal, topped with bike marrow. I kind of ordered on a whim not expected much: it surprised me.Of course we loved our ravioli. We got both the egg ravioli and spinach/cheese blend. This is my first time trying handmade pasta, and you can really taste the difference. It's far more delicate and fresh tasting. Dry pasta tastes almost stale by comparison. While both were excellent, they were similar enough we didn't need both. Definitely just get the egg ravioli and treat yourself to something special very few places can pull off.We did enjoy the bacon caesar salad and puffed gnocchi, but both were a bit overkill for our dinner. It was just our first time and we over ordered. 😅Lastly, we were blown away by the desserts. Both the Panna Cotta and Burrata Gelato were world class settings for a unique set of well themed toppings available. I fell in love with the Honeycomb Panna Cotta combo and my fiance thoroughly enjoyed the Balsamic Strawberry Burrata Gelato. These were both very well thought finishes to the meal.

The food is amazing. Everything is made by hand, just as the brand suggests. You can see your meals being cooked right in front of you. Despite it being enclosed, the smell does not get to you. You will be surprised how amazing the presentation is, and how the flavor is a big wow. One key note is how loud the music can be and it was slightly difficult to communicate inside

Good food and great service! Recommend to reserve here since the place seems always full. They have have two time slots for lunch which is 11 am and 1pm. You can see them making their fresh pasta inside the restaurant. Their pasta and gelato were amazing!

July 2 Lunch time, we really love your service especially the girl host, very accommodating & humble. All of your staff were doing their respective jobs, no staff were only standing, so we are really amazed by your team work. In addition, food are awesome as what the price says, but the portioning can improve, too small. Ambiance wise, outside is more chill than inside, if inside gets busy it fill all the spaces. Kudos to the service team & food tastes! Thank you.

Lorenzo's Way Restaurant -- Where Taste Matters had TASTELESS, overpriced food, manager was kind but oblivious to comments on food, and portions were truly small. I have got beef ribs in wine sauce and brown rice on the side at this restaurant. The food seved was so small that it looked like an appetizer to me -- definitely not like a main meal. The beef was so so tender and it was almost tasteless. It felt like the cook forget how to cook and made an appetizer instead of main meal. Lorenzo's way -- where taste matters was a great joke! Better go to Alba Spanish restaurants where portions are bigger and flavor truly matters.

Service was good, food is commendable. Portion sizing of tenderloin steak is about 4oz, so if you are a big eater, better order additional dish. Oh and better ask for medium rare, bec medium-well skewed more on well-done.

I think they were on their element tonight. Bong waited on us and was very attentive. Salpicao was an excellent starter. La mancha was good, a bit unsalted, but enjoyable nonetheless. The stars were the bamboo rice, sugpo with aligue, and beef and reef. For diners, I will suggest not to pair bamboo rice with sugpo with aligue, the umami explosion was a bit overwhelming for me. Pleasant surprise on the Beef and Reef, the raisin + hollandaise I thought won't work, but it did. Back again? Yep, worth going back.

The food is so so. The prawn is very dry and the pork knuckle is so hard that we can hardly eat anything at all. The waitress was on her mobile phone when we first went into the restaurant and we have to call her just to get her attention. She is also quite unfriendly when she took our orders. However the waiter was nice and friendly.

We went to greenbelt 5 ,found this resto not so crowded from other resto. Had a quiet early dinner with my Ddal. Food was good except for the sotanghon bby pusit need to have a lil taste of salt or soysauce.

Upscale restaurant serving Aussie food! We had coffees and fried Cauliflower first. Good, strong Melbourne coffee. Followed that with delicious Thai Beef Salad and Aussie Meat Pie. Definitely worth a visit!

I really liked my dining experience here for:- good variety of dishes- excellent meat dishes (but mid fish dishes)- very peaceful area, lots of seating and good place overall- responsive serviceAppetizers are ok, but pricy (3pcs of satay that's mostly salad, really?)Mains are excellent. As mentioned, meat dishes in general, like steak and lamb were great. Salmon is OK but I wish I could get different sides instead.Desserts are OK. I like the chocolate creme brulee.

This restaurant has top grade meat and a great atmosphere. We got the A5 Wagyu Tomahawk Ribeye! This monster was 1.4kg / 3.1 pound! The desserts are incredible. We had the Apple & Mango Crumble & Chocolate Crème Brûlée. The waitresses continuously looked over the dining room. We never had to wait for anything! Everything was perfect and delicious!

Bondi & Burke is a comfortable restaurant with exceptional food. The space is relaxing and there is a separate room for larger groups.But the food is very delicious.I started off with the Chicken Caesar Salad where the chicken was seasoned flawlessly complementing the salad. The opening dish grabbed my attention and the next dish arrived which were pita bread slices with four different dips. While the yogurt sauce and hummus were decent, the tabbouleh and babaganoush dips carried the dish.Last but not least was the showstopping main course: Chicken Katsu Burger. A sesame-seed bun with fried chicken katsu and sliced lettuce and cabbage. Curry with potatoes were set aside and put to efficient use which gave me a new experience with chicken katsu. OVerall, eating a chicken katsu burger is just as good as the regular dish. I highly recommend this dish, just make sure to have a napkin nearby as it will get messy.Bondi & Burke has won me over and has now become a new favorite restaurant of mine here in the Philippines. I look forward to coming again and again exploring the menu
