This little restaurant was tucked along the main road of San Juan, La Union. We were hungry but we were seated fast. We were attended to quickly & patiently. The food was a surprise. It befits food in hotels. I thought there must be a chef in the kitchen. Surprisingly, there was none. All meals were concocted by members of the family. The Alvin Pizza was a best seller. Together with the meatballs in tomato sauce. I am happy & proud such a restaurant exists in a small town. You really never know what you are going to stumble upon. Check this out guys!!!

The pizza was delicious, as always. Everything we ordered was priced affordably and came with big servings. Their gelato is a must-try! It’s not too sweet and is perfect for the hot weather. The staffs were all approachable, and the ambiance was nice.

One of the best experience i had so far... From the food to the place to their staff who are very attentive... The only problem is they have a very small parking space... But not totally an issue...They serve pizza fast! Because it is fresh... Very uneven... And they taste great...Thei choices of beer are also unique... Craft beer with ipa of 7.5.. yes.. it will kick you and your heart...Prices are very reasonable...😁😁

dined here around lunch parking was a little bit tricky but found a spot with pay parking. we were seated right away and the server was very accommodating and lively. we also had to experience to make our own pizza it was fun with the brick oven and everything. food was on point and authentic the place was amazing they also have a view deck on the beach front where you can enjoy the picturesque view. price were cheaper than expected. would recommend this place to friends and family and we would definitely come back.

They offer various kinds of pasta , pizza and other delicacies. I love their Alvin's Pizza... It has the right mix of cheese and sauce. A must-try. The supreme meatballs pasta is also great. Their mint tea is also a must-try. So refreshing. You'll love the minty after-taste :)Their food service is quite fast. The place is also beautiful. It has a nice view of the sea 🙂

Some food are bland while others are too salty (except for maja blanca, pork bbq, and kare-kare) and we found out that one of their pizza has a string in it. The music was too loud and can ruin your eating. The service was poor.

The place is big! It has sufficient room for parking and dinning area. There are plenty of varieties of food to choose from. Some foods are not hot enough for our liking but they offered it heat it up with a smile on their face. Service is excellent and price is very reasonable. 379.00 pesos per person ($6.80) I highly recommend this buffet restaurant if you’re in Bauang La Union.

Dinner at La Famiglia Buffet La Union's best restaurant.There were more than 40+ foods to choose from. My first bite on one of the beef dishes literally melts in my mouth and it's quite flavourful. The cucumber flavored drink was my favourite. The staffs were super friendly and even played a happy b-day song on the speaker for one of the diners. The staffs gathered happily around her while clapping. The atmosphere inside were filled with wamths and happiness, truly a night to remember.Better to have a reservation through their Facebook page for a guaranteed seat.No wonder why this buffet restaurant earned such high rating. Highly recommended.

Cozy place, with bamboo hut dining areas. The parking space is big with attendant and the food is satisfying for the price of more than php 350. However, what I really want for them to improve is to offer more fish selection as this place is just across the sea. A must visit food hub here in La Union.

Dencio's serve Filipino food and if you want Filipino grilled food this restaurant is an option.Food is just average, service is good.However, he guy guarding the entrance is giving confusing instructions on where the restaurant is. Food: 6.5/10.Service: 1/10.Value: 3/10.The sisig was a little overcooked and too crispy. The food came before the drinks. We had to ask for water, and they gave us a pitcher but forgot about the glasses. When the drinks arrived, the shakes still had some ice chunks that couldn't pass through the straw. The sago was clumped together. Horrible service.

Dencio's is a place for families and groups of friends. We love the cozy wood cabin interior and the variety of food selection. You can have meals with your kids or have drinks with your friends. They also have free wifi. However, the waiting time for our order took at least 40minutes and it was unforgivable considering most of the seats were empty. Maybe they lacked kitchen crew that day but it's no excuse to have horrible customer service also. The plates we were given were not the cleanest. The food was delicious, maybe they believe in delayed gratification but sadly we don't. We felt like we didn't get what we paid for. I have to give 3 stars to give room for improvement in their service, meal preparation time, and cleanliness.

Especially the seafood medley which I enjoyed the most! I ate more than I should! I forgot my diet! Lol! We also enjoyed the ocean front patio that really sets up the mood! The food was fresh, properly prepared and a great value for the price. We highly recommend it. The breakfast buffet on Sunday was equally as good! All the good reviews that I have read about this restaurant are true. The friendliness of the staff seems genuine. I have never seen such good customer service! I will definitely go back!

Kudos sainyo! 👌🙌👍🏻👍🏻✔️Secondly, ang sarap ng timpla ng salted egg sauce niyo! bagay na bagay sa shrimp and alimasag. Moreover, bagay din siya sa Kalamares (Squid), just an explosion of flavours!Thirdly, sa panahon ngayon, affordable na ito, these would easily cost us 2k to 3k in Manila.Lastly, the view. Come on! What a bonus! Eating beside a sea!🤯P.S. Yes, there's parking outside. I think they accept cashless payments too.Highly recommended if you're driving around or staying in La Union and if you're to and from Manila to Ilocos Region and vice versa.I would definitely return!☺️

Don't let the drab facade fool you, this is one of San Fernando's hidden gems. This restaurant by the beach has some of the freshest and unique seafood offerings in the city. The pampano and seafood mix dishes are a must try. The menu options also change every once in a while so you're in for a surprise with each visit. Group set meals are also available at reasonable prices. 5 stars.

We loved our dinner here. It's an al fresco seafood restaurant above/by the beach. The July breeze was coming through with the peaceful waves. Very satisfying to the senses. We got here at around 6:30pm on a thursday evening to celebrate a birthday.We ordered:Bagnet kare-kare - first time we've had this and it's umami heaven. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Sinigang salmon & shrimp - big serving! ⭐⭐⭐⭐Sisig w/ egg - definitely in the top 5 sisig in LU. ⭐⭐⭐⭐Value for money. Serving time was 10-15mins. The staff (and the cat) was kind and accomodating. Rooms for improvement: chairs and tables cleanliness, interior design.

A branch of their Baguio branch, this place serves good, basic Chinese food that we knew many decades ago. Served clean, we asked that MSG be omitted and thankfully, they complied. Their servings are quite generous. Maybe for 3 or even 4 persons.This is quite a large restaurant so families will find this place comfortable. They have ample parking space in Front and on its right side, too.Nicely airconditioned, it is very comfortable inside. A Welcome respite for the strong heat of the sun that La Union gets. Servers, young and more senior were very amiable and new the items in the menu quite well.

A huge place with ample parking and well trained friendly staff. Food is what you'll expect in its price range. We got a good tip from our waiter just to order pancit canton and drop the chopseuy since this is already included in the pancit, and it's true. Pata Tim is not available. We settled with their Chinese steak, it's yummy but serving is small. Their wanton soup is highly recommended.

Food were tasty and the price was reasonable (we paid close to 10kphp for 20+ people). Despite the tasty food, I had to give this a 3* because of the mango shake that we had to cancel after tasting it. It had a "cockroachy" after taste that made us think how hygenic the food preparation is.I liked the century egg with seaweeds, fried prawns and their pancit bihon. Special order of cauliflower, the beef with brocolli and the white meat chicken were also not that bad.

Hello I have recently went to this particular dinner, with my friends. One of my friends happens to look very dashing that day. We had a splendid time and kept on talking about stuff, but little did we know that our friend was getting tapped on the shoulder constantly by a waiter and she felt uncomfortable to tell us, for she doesn't want to ruin our meal. Later on the waiter went to our table and kept asking things about her. Our other friend saw through the situation and tries to make very clear that our friend is not interested. Also do mind that we are junior high schoolers and we are in our school uniform, we did not show any interest on the guy but he kept on until we left briefly. On the way back to the campus, our friend told us how she felt. This experience has strongly shocked our friend and we would like to give her justice by telling this story.Not to give her exact age but she is a minor.

tried the baby back ribs. sauce was too sweet smothered all over the bland pork. had to scrape the pork to put the sauce away (too much) but the pork was tender, falls off the bone. veggies? not too much only 2 spoonfuls of serving. pork chop was great, first slice's thickness was normal, second slice was too thin. vinegar sauce complimented the meat. this place is okay but will still go to try other food

Santorini Feels 🇬🇷We went here for lunch to experience Greece in North of the Philippines. The place was colored in white and blue just like the famous Santorini.We ordered food that we just discovered here such as Saganaki Cheese (fried cheese stick), and Baklava. The food is okay. We went out to there for lunch and the place was not crowded. We were a group of 5 and the bench seats easily accomodated us.What I really like are the Gefesis Roast Lamb and Seafood Chowder Soup. I like their Moussaka the least.I really wouldn't call their price range worth it, but it really has to do with their prime location in San Juan, La Union. The meals are delicious, but I wouldn't recommend eating here often if you're on a tight budget.

Their menu includes regular American dishes and snacks. Dishes served after 10 to 20 minutes waiting time.Crowded and understaffed. They don't give everything you need. You have to ask for them and it's hard to get their attention. And sometimes they even avoid looking at you.Parking lot behind the property but no guards for security. Few parking in front of the store.

Atmosphere is great the view is astonishing it's good service I suggest that they add more table renovate the establishment. As you may see that it's Delicates are one of the best. Service is what I concern yes they are busy but customers are getting bored when the food is getting late stomach is growling. But we are save thanks to the fastest service they may preserve.

Huge servings. Food was okay. Ordered mozarella sticks, bacon and cheese fries, lasagna, baby back ribs. Carbonara was a bit bland. Burger was good. Outside food and drinks not allowed and strictly enforced. Food was served fast.

Food was fantastic look at all the pictures and see for yourself. Our server was Jovani and he did an excellent job, extremely professional and well mannered. Helped get us all what we wanted and was flexible when things changed. The atmosphere was super fun, they had multiple birthdays tonight and got the whole place clapping along to their special b day song. Parking can be tough because they are usually very busy so keep that in mind.

Food experience here is quite shocking, packed night with waiting area.. must be awesome right? Nah... well aleast for me...Seafood pasta i think is the best we ordered here...Pizza and chicken fingers need some room for improvement atleast for my experience...Pizza dough is too soft, its brown but not crispy.. even though it has a lot of toppings, the bread is the saddest part...For the service.. i think we dine in a little bit late... so the staff is like exhausted or something for the night... so they answer whenever you call but they lack initiative... maybe im just nitpicking but i understand how busy they were...Overall.. maybe ill try again next time but not dinner time..

Service is really slow.The dining area is so hot.They have a lot of waiters but they're just standing because the kitchen production is slooooww!!The area is very noisy, even noisier than a fast food restaurant because of the loud voices of the staffs.

customer friendly, accomodating and attentive staff. very nice and good environment. with common comfort rooms both male and female. the food is good. specially the 5 cheese pizza. i really love it. with also spacious prarking area. for dine in, take out and delivery. good for any occacion. cheerrs

Food's great! love their 5 cheese pizza and jalapeño pepperoni pizza. parking is very limited so you have to find an available parking spot somewhere else/nearby and just walk to get to the restaurant. Waiters are accommodating until orders arw taken. May need to be more attentive next time.

I have been occasionally dining at this place for 4 years, and my all-time favorite is the Peanut Butter Fried Chicken. The plate is just beautiful, the two pieces of chicken covered tastelfully with delectable peanut butter sauce. You are also served a potato salad (same as most of their rice meals).They have a variety of beverages to choose from. I personally like the Grumpy Refresher - a combination of mint, blue curacao and soda.Wait time for your order is just right for most rice meals, and you may have to wait longer for huge orders.They also accept dine-in reservation via call. I did, and they ask a 500 PHP reservation fee, which is consumable.5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I was not able to take a picture of the food. Surprised at how expensive food is in La Union. On average wherever you eat would be 450 (food) and 175 (drinks).Flavor was nothing exceptional, Ambiance is well worth the money and trip. Portion size was also good. Place is clean and service staff was very attentive.

It was so nice to find this restaurant serving all filipino favorites with a beautiful view of the sea!I am very particular with sisig. I usually refrain from ordering this in restaurants outside Pampanga, because the dish have had many variations some of which are good and some aren’t. Their pork sisig was good we had to order again 🥹The pinakbet was nice but its different, so i didnt quite like it as much as the sisig.Shout out to our server Mike who recommended the dishes. 5 star experience for us - came back twice in two days! Food is delicious and service is quick and friendly. Serving sizes are pretty generous too - we definitely over ordered each time. Would 100% recommend the dinendeng and pancit here, super mouth watering. Quite enjoyed the buko shake too, it’s refreshing after a hot day at the beach. It’s a comfortable and quiet dining area at with good views of the beach so would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a good meal.

Really enjoyed this restaurant. The food was great. We ended up ordering chicken adobo and pork sinigang along with an iced caramel coffee. The staff were very friendly and positive here. They also had AC and the beach was easily accessible, so definitely recommend.

This is located at San Juan Surf Resort. Perfect location since beachfront and they have ample parking space.Family friendly and kid friendly place, good for big groups!The dishes we enjoyed the most are the pancit and crispy pata. Their tuna sisig is delicious also.4 stars only cos there was a cockroach that appeared from one corner/joint of the table while we were eating. Sad flying ipis pa hahaha 🥲

Our first stop during our recent LU trip to have breakfast. We ordered beef tapa. What we really like about this restaurant is their customer service hands down. Searching for a dessert and went back there at almost past nine in the evening, which was their last call for orders. But still, they gladly accommodated us. Great interiors and there's tons of things to choose from the menu. Everything tasted heavenly although i was not a big fan of the Special Liempo. Prices are a bit on the higher side although the suggested serving of one person can easily feed 2. Would definitely be back! 💖

5 stars because it's the "most decent" along this beach strip, even if it's pricier than you would expect in the province. (Almost 3k for the 6 dishes below, but totally OK with me bec the food is generally good.) The crispy pata is execellent for me. The pinakbet is not the native type but a fancy resto type, but still good. Forget the spicy wings - inferior to the usual wings in the city. 3rd time dining here, incl a previous stay with breakfast.

All served foods were good. Too bad for us, there's a cut off. We have not fully enjoyed the place. So, if you plan to eat here, especially for dinner, come as early as 6pm to have a taste from each store.

Beer per bottle cost 70-75. Per bucket cost 380. Wide variety of food. Tried their mixed seafood in gata but it's mostly squid. Good music. Street parking only.

We highly recommend Big Servings! Literal big servings! We had big bowls of dinakdakan and pork tofu which were all a delight. You can buy drinks (both alc/non-alc) in the center stall. Best thing in this place is that all the electric fans are working!

Tourists and friend groups would love it here. The food stalls have good variety from seafood to grilled meat to all day breakfast. We ordered from 4 different kiosks and their serving time took 10 minutes maximum. It's acceptable considering it was a busy saturday night. It's not the best food in town but I don't think you go here for the taste/dining experience. You go here to chill and chat and get buzzed. Prices are affordable if you're a tourist and you're used to urbiztondo prices. But locally it's about 30% more expensive than usual. What I loved here was their live music and friendly staff. However, there's a lot of room for improvement.Cons: 1- Not much choices for dessert/meryenda. 2- I understand it's an outdoor drinking place but there's so many cigarette smokers on different tables and it ruined the chill atmosphere for me. 3- Smoking is NOT prohibited in this place and I take that personally because I'm asthmatic. 4- There should be a warning to bring your inhaler before you enter and order. 5- After eating here, I pray I don't get covid from all the packed tables and people not wearing masks. 6- Their bathroom cubicles are "amoy chismis" and have low water pressure. 7- No parking lot.

A little warm during hot days but very good variation of food, friendly staff and very friendly atmosphere. I really love how the place was designed. We tried the little bbq stall near the stage, the main bar which served lovely frozen margaritas and the steak house right beside it!!!

The place was so cool. The choices of food was so vague that you will undoubtedly found anything that your tastebuds feel like eating at the moment. The beach bum barbeque was a huge hit, we have to wait for few minutes for our orders to be served, but it is definitely worth it. The people are nice and the music will make you groove your body without even noticing it. Amazing indeed!

The owner, whom also one of the servers, always gives the utmost care to his customers and that is why his place is always visited by local tourists.The food? Don't get me started. Everything is fresh and delicious. Whenever I crave for seafoods, this is the best place to go to.As always, I will keep going back to Natalna every time I visit La Union.

Wonderful patio tables right on the water, OK cooking and grilled food is what you should order. The orders are small which is why prices look cheap. BBQ ribs tasted good but I only got 2 ribs. An order of broccoli was only slightly larger than what some restaurants would scoop as a vegetable on a plate of meat and rice. Clean washroom. I recommend it for adequate food with a great cool seaside breeze right on the beach. March 2023

If you’re looking for a restaurant that serves delicious and affordable foods, I recommend Natalna Grille. This is one of our go-to places because it is a perfect place for dates and family gathering. They offer a wide range of menu. Their grilled tuna belly is a must-try, as well as the buttered mushroom with garlic.The view is nice here since it is beside the seashore and as what its name implies, the place is quiet and serene. The staff here are friendly and accommodating.

A Filipino-style restaurant with a hint of Japanese with seats overlooking the La Union shore. Not including the preorder (you can reserve seats and order beforehand), we waited 40 minutes for the food to arrive, which is quite long in my opinion. But the food was delicious, especially the beef salpicao (which tastes like salisbury steak) and the salmon sinigang. I’m not a fan of coating the tuna sashimi with sesame seeds as it overpowered the taste of the fish. Still, the service including the cashier needs work.

Really cheap, but really good food. This can be found across the famous 7-eleven of San Juan. You should definitely dine here when you go to La Union. There aren't a lot of seats, so visit around late afternoon.

Ate here twice enjoyed the laid back vibes & hole in the wall (literally) feels, we enjoyed some of the food, some food is a bit bland good thing they have condiments ready but the 2nd time we dined they ran out of calamansi.

One of the known food stops in the area, if you can't find this just ask any local. It does have a small menu (mostly Filipino cuisine) with affordable rates --just perfect for your budget. It's dining place isn't that spacious though, just a quaint small space in the side walk. Tourists still come not only to eat but for the vibe as the place is instagram worthy.Ps. I love their donation project. Please support it!

We loved the food but be warned that there aren't a lot of tables here. We decided to take our food to the hotel instead and paid additional 10 pesos for the take out box. Afdordable and delicious. I had parez and it didn't disappoint. I would love to come back again to try their besy seller bagnet.

Every year I celebrated my birthday out of town, this year (January 28, 2022) I went to Urbiztondo, San Juan La Union, for me to experience - their beaches, night life and foods. This food restaurant is included on my list, I'm so excited to eat here in Tagpuan sa San Juan, Lugaw (Porridge) is my favorite food, I ordered, Lugaw and Tokwa and egg, the food is so delicious, the service is good too, that time my phone is 0 percent I know that it is not possible to charge my phone there since it is not allowed as one of the staff advised me, I ask again and tell that I will pay for it, She allowed me to charge my phone and there's no fee! I'm so thankful for that since that place is our last stop and we will go back to Manila.The location is good for picture but I advise you to put mosquito lotion in your skin since there's a lot of mosquito here, I don't know if this is always, we went there at 4pm. Be ready to line up for order taking since they have a lot customers.limited space for customer's, anyway even if the queue is long the waiting time is worth it because of the food.

One of the few places that was open during our stay in Elyu (I think most are closed after new year). Perfect place to get your quick breakfast/brunch fix! Dishes were simple and straightforward. We had bagnet and pares and they weren’t bad for the price! Place is a bit small so tables get full during peak hours.

📌 @tagpuansj San Juan, La Union⭐️ 3.5 / 5🚨 Tagpuan has been a staple in Elyu for so many years but a few things I wish has changed over the years: 1. SEATING - @tagpuansj pls fix your seating so that many people could dine comfortably 2. MENU - as you could see on the pics, @tagpuansj has changed its prices many times over, covering the prices over and over with pieces of paper makes the menu and the facade feels tacky / tasteless … little things like this (maintenance of the place) should have been on tip top shape ~ food is okay and very affordable ~ still worth visiting if you’re here & if comfortability is not an issue for you 😉💰Check pics for menu prices🐶 Elyu is overall a pet friendly beach place ✅

The Bagnet and Pares were okay. It was good but there's nothing really special in regards to taste. It's also affordable so it can be a good meal for those who are on a budget if you are in Elyu.Only common problem I have in La Union are the flies. They are literally everywhere so you have to make sure they don't land on your food when eating out.

Cheap quick eats appropriate to fill the stomach for a night out at La Union. Generous servings of rice but the meat portions were a little small. Crispy bagnet and rice was Php140, not bad for a cheaper alternative to the higher end restos around the area.

A great place for local (traditional) Filipino food. Plus if you give them an extra 50php they will feed someone in need. I thought this was very nice of them. The service is fast and the people are friendly. Smaller portions, but very reasonable priced. Think small meal or snack if you are a foreigner. If you’re a foreigner with a Filipina GF… take her here… she will love it!!
