Their bulalo is great, as well as the sizzling tuna. View is amazing. We were able to enjoy the view while waiting for our food to be prepared, which honestly is not too long. 5% service charge is included in the bill. Glad we were able to chance upon this restaurant as it houses a lot of people and still have ample amount of space between each table.

A great place for groups to have a meal. Went there for dinner so the Taal lake view is not that visible anymore. However, the weather in Tagaytay makes up for it. The food was good. They also have a wide variety of options to chose from. We had their Bulalo Special, Kare-kare, and Bicol Express. The taste was fine. Price is just a little pricey from what I expected. Service was good considering the number of customers during our stay in the restaurant.

Good food but kinda pricey. You won’t see the view of Taal while you’re eating but the place has a good ambiance and the service is good. Only problem is when it’s raining because most of the tables are outside.

Psypsy Garcia⭐⭐⭐⭐

I forgot to take photos but breakfast was okay. Service was not at par with the branch in Quezon City. It was drizzling when we went there. Almost zero visibility at the viewing deck. Restroom was great, though. Drinks were above okay, fresh and made just right.

Did little research before going to Tagaytay for Bulalo, and this place is recommended for their delicious foods with reasonable price. It is indeed cheaper than other restaurants but tastes really good.

We went here on a Sunday, around 3 pm and there are a lot of customers. We were able to get a table after a few minutes. Ordered their Bulalo and Buko Halo Halo. The Bulalo was served hot, the broth was tasty, and there was a lot of vegetables. The Buko Halo Halo is also delicious, not too sweet.

Elle Bilocura⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Bulalo doesn’t have bone marrow, and only has pechay. No corn, no beans or other veggies. You can get this from Mahogany Market for only 350. However, the meat is really tender and masarap ang sabaw.

We came here after seeing an IG post promoting it and it did NOT meet our expectation! The restaurant truly gives a nice view of the lake and the staff were pleasant however we encountered a lot of hiccups.

1st of all they have limited parking for their customers so we had to park behind their other customer. Other restaurants were kicking us out of their vacant spaces. We were surprised that Cabanas had the smallest one.

2nd issue is their unhygienic washroom. They don’t have enough water to flush it seems the owner cannot invest in a water pump as water barely drips in their public restroom. I understand that public restrooms in a tourist spot can be messy but this is a business with a pricey menu plus service fee so at minimum they should atleast maintain their washrooms.

3rd, as it is our first time, we asked for their reccomendations and followed it. It was two surf and turf platter (around 2500 each) 1 lechon belly, and 2 bullalos. The time it took to prepare our food was long so I was disappointed with being served food with cold temperature. The serving sizes were said to be large but the crabs had thin meat, the lamb racks were dry and lacked seasoning, the bullalo beef was soft but soup could have been better. The skin of lechon belly was tough to chew and the cuts had huge portion of fat and barely any meat.

4th, they were blasting a Bon Jovi playlist at 11am lunch time??? It didnt suit the mood at all.

The view of taal was nice. They were kind to take our photos.

Overall, 2 out of 5. We had to compensate the experience by having another meal elswhere.

Sarah Kowsari⭐⭐

It is the Best place for chillin with friends and couple bounding night. Air is so fresh drinking and eating while listening the live bond music with over looking view of the Taal lake is priceless place to visit.

I highly recommend this place.
At the same area there are choices of which Resto you want to spend your night or where you wanted to eat and drink but to us this is what we`ve choose and I would say it is WORTHY!

This is the best Filipino restaurant I have ever been to. The cook is Godlike, a super human. The staff super friendly and professional. Location beautiful, interior historical and classy. The food is cooked and served better than You can imagine. Even the water there tastes better than anywhere else. And prices are too low for such luxury quality. This restaurant is a lifetime expierence. When I left Pamana restaurant I felt like leaving paradise. 6 stars out of 5. Salamat Po! :*

Parking can be challenging, especially during rush hour and meal times. It wasn’t for us though since there were not so many customers during lunch.

The food was savoury. Their bulalo is recommendable. Also, there is a place for al fresco dining, with a view of the taal lake. Lastly, tablewares and sets are for sale there too.

Not the absolute best batirol but the service is good here. Personally, I don’t think every dish should’ve had some chocolate included in the food. It’s a good concept but the actual taste of the dishes – – not so much (especially for the price point).

Have dessert here instead. Good thing you can cross order to Pamana for your lunch.

Drei⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We came for dessert after having breakfast at the Diners. We waited for an hour to be seated, we were the 7th in the list. It was raining so outside seating were unavailable which contributed to the long wait. Ordered Tsokolate ah and churro bites and they were awesome. The tsokolate ah tasted like my grandma’s tsokolate except grandma’s were made a little thicker. We will definitely be back to try the rest of their food. Parking is limited but you can park at the Ayala Mall in front then just cross the street to Tsokolateria.

We arrived on a peak hour without any reservation yet they still accommodate us. Waiting time was almost an hour. Great place if you are looking for an alfresco dining. The Kale salad was refreshing. I liked the Roasted chicken. It is very tender and juicy. I also liked the cookie dough cheese cake. It is creamy and the cookies are chewy. Staff are friendly and neat.

Its my nth time here and this place never gets old. This time our family made a big reservation for my cousin’s surprise birthday lunch and it was an opportunity to try more of whats on their menu. Service was excellent. Everything was good as usual, and you even get to pet the resident fat cats while sipping pineapple kale slush & relaxing after the feast.

Loved the atmosphere here with its family-style dining. TBH I can’t remember the names of the food but everything we had was delicious. They also serve their own ice cream. I wish I had left some time for dessert but I just couldn’t stop eating the food we ordered. Would highly recommend this place if you’re ever in the area.

Rey Roa⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We arrived at 12:20 and even if they have a large parking area it is already full. If you’re planning to eat lunch or dinner I advise you to come early and get a number so you won’t get really hungry from waiting. Love the ambiance, their ice cream is homemade and they give generous serving on their bulalo (but it would be more awesome if they make their beef more tender). I gave one star less for it’s a bit pricey

Good: Perfect place for family with kids, pet-friendly too. Amazing view of Taal Lake, relaxing ambiance, reasonable price for food. Bulalo with unlimited soup is quite expensive, but it’s worth the price.

Bad: We ordered at 2pm and got our food almost 3pm, they told us there was an issue with their system. That same staff who took our order was not so friendly to begin with. We were so hungry and a bit disappointed on the waiting time.

Very nice place with good prices. The idea of different cubes is nice. Guests sit inside a cube, so no disturbances from table neighbors. Green and clean place with an amazing view to the volcano and its lake below. Food is delicious, service very quick! I recommend!

Roast beef was great. The pizza was surprisingly tasted good. However, the service was a bit slow from taking orders, serving the order and and payment. Glad that the view of Taal lake got my attention. The ambiance is great. The price is affordable for a nice place and great taste of food for its serving size. A good place to catch up with friends while enjoying the nature’ view. I will go back again to try other menu.

✅✅✅ Very nice ambiance: Few people especially on weekday mornings.
✅✅ Food serving & coffee: Big servings, good for two. Caesar Salad and House blend coffee is very good.

❌ Price: On the expensive side. Be ready to spend 1k+ per person for full meal.
❌ Frozen blueberry cheesecake: Not so good for me, cream cheese is more cream than cheese. It’s more of cream pie. Maybe the baked one is better?

Great place to dine. Relatively inexpensive compared to a lot of restaurants in the area. I love the option of eating at nipa huts thoughtfully enclosed in what I think is mosquito net, though we decided to eat at the main hall as we were all tired and just wanted a straight forward eating arrangement. 😊

Update 2022 September. This time around we tried to eat in one of the nipa huts. The place was surrounded with healthy plants, and we even saw a pair of playful butterflies. The food is still great, and the staff were all coordinated.

Still 5 stars and I look forward to coming back. New photos uploaded. 😊

This place was excellent!! The food was so good and delicious. The staff were attentive, professional, and friendly. It was so good, we went back a second time. This place is definitely worth going to. I didn’t have a chance to take a picture of the food because I ate it too fast, but here’s a picture of the soursop shake. It was so delicious and healthy. This place sells fresh fruit and pastries, as well as tea on site.

Went here to have breakfast at around 9am when people were just arriving so it wasn’t as busy and we were accommodated and served our food quite fastly.

Good food, huge servings, affordable prices. Parking is also available so that’s a plus. Place is also simple yet well decorated with neat, well-arranged plants.

Will definitely dine here again.

A great cafe that is hard to find, it is off the main drag, and your trike driver might not know where it is, or try to convince you to go elsewhere. Don’t make that mistake, experience Char’s at least once during your stay! The food tasted great and it was the most reasonably priced meal that I had in Tagaytay.

Establishment was very upscale and welcoming.
Amazing architecture and seating arrangement.
The out door area was beautiful, but too many mosquitoes to enjoy.
The steak was great the other dishes where so so to be honest.
The desserts where someone what lacking as well.
Over all my opinion and rating is based on the staff, location and decor of this restaurant.
I would recommend this place for large events like wedding and family events.

Attended a wedding recently, sadly the weather did not cooperate. Cocktails prior to dinner was supposed to be at the garden with nice set ups. Before the cocktails started, there was a heavy downpour. The staff were quick to transfer the servings of cocktails inside and it saved the day for everyone. Dinner was sit down, the staff were on hand to assist guests and served everyone almost all at the same time. They serve one dish after the other. Suffice it to say that it was a successful event. Thanks for the quick service. And of course, the ambiance is just perfect. Enjoyed the dining experience.

In conclusion, Tagaytay is a foodie’s paradise with plenty of restaurants to choose from. From local dishes to international cuisine, there is something for everyone.

Visitors can enjoy a meal with stunning views of Lake Taal or comfortably at a rustic-themed restaurant for a unique dining experience.

With a wide variety of Tagaytay restaurants available on the list above, one can always look forward to a gastronomic adventure in this beautiful city.
