Tried their Panchetta con Tartufo and it was soo good. A brick oven pizza perfectly paired with chili sauce. The server was accommodating but they have no service water. Short waiting time for orders.

In my 4 days and 3 nights stay in Siargao, this was probably the worst restaurant I ever dined in!1. The waiter wasn't listening to me while I was giving my food order, he was literally staring at the group right across me in a cabana. I had to tell him off to focus and listen.2. It wasn't enough that he was staring at me, he was probably just pretending to listen because he wasn't able to follow through my instructions. I was already asking for my bill when he asked m if I still want my second beer to be served. I instructed him to serve it together with the pizza. The first one was served while I was waiting for my food.3. Ambience doesn't help. It was like a vacant lot and a garage hurriedly fenced up with bamboo... And that's it.4. I usually order the simplest and most basic pizza - Margherita Pizza, my gauge if the establishment is really a good Italian pizza place. The pizza came without the basil leaves.5. When my order of 1 ltr of bottled water arrived (they don't have service water), I think they expected me to drink directly from the bottle! I had to tell the waiter off that it is not a good way to serve drinks.6. When I approached the pizza maker, and a lady at that, to give my feedback, she was just smiling, coming across as unapologetic. You know how attitude ruins an establishment, no matter how confident you are with the quality of your food!Not worth visiting again. Worst pizza place for me. Food may be good but a restaurant isn't just about food only.

This pizzeria offers some of the finest pizza in the Philippines, and I've enjoyed meals at their various branches. Despite this, the current experience doesn't match the premium price. After a typhoon devastated their restaurant, the makeshift setting lacks ambiance, offering no music, proper cutlery, or suitable plates.While I appreciate their resilience, as a customer, I'm left unsatisfied. Either the price needs adjustment to reflect the basic dining experience, or amenities need improvement. Yes, the pizza is splendid, but the overall experience, for now, falls short of expectations.

Apart from the delicious pizza I need to highlight the staff - few young boys running the place and they’re doing an amazing job! Smart, helpful, friendly, happy to make modifications to the menu items, pizza comes super quickly as well! It was in Altrove that the staff asked how was my meal - first time in Siargao! Thanks for a great dinner boys, keep it going!

Amazing pizza, the dough is so good as well as the toppings. We ordered one and end up ordering a second one.Unfortunately their restaurant was destroyed by the typhoon and they only serve pizza at the moment but you can dine in or take out. If you are craving for a good pizza this is definitely the place to go!

The pizza oven is impressive! 🍕🍕🍕We've been to Altrove multiple times both in Siargao and Palawan. Altrove Siargao did not dissapoint. We shared a bottle of wine, had a pizza, risotto and one of the pasta dishes. The pizza came out so quick and was cooked perfectly. I wish we could find pizza this good in Manila. I'm not sure it's the best pizza on the Philippines but it's hard to beat. 👍👍

Food is really great and the staff are friendly and accomodating. The place itself is very cozy and clean and perfect for long stays or meals. Only problem is that their staff doesn't seem to know how to explain the serving size of the meals. Like the pastas. They said that a single order is good for one person but none of us, some even heavy eaters, couldn't even finish it. I know it's a matter of personal preference or capability of customers but the staff should be able to tell the serving size of the meals accurately. Other than that, this place is a must when you visit GL. Will certainly come back next time. But maybe order fewer meals.

The place is nice, giving an indonesian vibes. Very peaceful place to eat, eating dinner here gives a very romantic energy. I just noticed that dogs here will sleep beside you if they feel comfortable with you, expecting them to be fed by you.If you're craving for an international asian cuisine then this is the right place in Siargao.I can tell the food tasted similar to Malaysian foods as I've been to Malaysia a lot.

this restaurant was just okay, nothing really stood out. they didn’t have the chicken satay or anything grilled which was a disappointment. I got the mi goreng and there was nothing really special about it, except it was a large serving and it was worth it for the price. the service also took a bit long.

The food is definitely a very average experinced here in Siargao Island.Laksa was like eating maggie noodles in turmeric juice.Chicken Nase Goreng had almost no chicken in it.Warung Indesian Cuisine, do not expect to get the same Balinese taste like for Laksa and Nase Goreng. But the ambienace is so good and relaxing.We even had a cafee late the next day, still a big flop. The water is not hot. Better wait for othe coffee shops to open than walking in to this restaurant. Wait til Tom N Toms be open.On the other hand, you'll get 2 hrs free internet when you dine in and they'll accept credit card for payment.Walk in customers are also welcome to dine in.

This restaurant is inside Siargao Island Villas.The ambience is spot on. It was poolside with beach view.The food was just alright. I expected better for the price point they were charging guests.The laksa was average. It had 1 shrimp, some small pieces of fish and a lot of noodles with soup. The soup was far from the singaporean version of the dish which was understandable. More toppings would've been appreciated.The nasi campur was pricey since the marinated fried chicken that came with it was bland, dry and average at best. The beef rendang was good but I've had better. The vegetables were forgettable.Rating this 2 stars cos on top of the average at best type of food (with great view though hahah) there were a lot of flies! May mga langaw talaga guys, like you need to shoo them away from time to time while having your meal 🥲 It wasn't hard to shoo them away but of course given an option, I would prefer to dine peacefully without flies dibaOn the positive side, you get 2 hrs free internet when you dine in.Pool use for restaurant guests is Php 500 per head, not consumable.They accept credit card for payment, yay for cashless mop

The food wait time was long. Took them 1 hr to complete our order given that there was only 2 tables occupied. 1 table with around 10 people and our table with 4 people. The food was bad. I ordered a lasagna and received a lasagna with the consistency of a pizza and a taste of burnt wood. Not to mention, they are pricey compared to other better restaurants. Bad experience.

The food was very tasty. Loved the seafood pasta and the adobo rice bowl. Very nice and relaxed vibe. The staff were super friendly. Prep time for the food was just right (around 10-15 minutes).

This food was so good! We ended up going back a few times. The bruschetta is a must try as well as the cocktails. The warm squid salad was so fresh. We also tried the lasagna and was great.

Excellent food. I can only guess how hard it must be to get authentic Italian ingredients in Siargao but they managed.The bruschetta was a little low on basil but super tasty. The spaghetti superb.The staff are super friendly and appreciate efforts to speak their surigaonon language.

Absolutely not worth a visit. For same price you can get much much better on this Island. Tasteless. Low quality. Boring. When we asked for the bill they tried to charge us (a bit) more than items we ordered. When we paid they couldn’t give us our change back because they apparently didn’t have change. I wanted to give the change to the sweet waiter but the manager kept saying they don’t have change. That’s just not nice.

Takbo’s Grill (formally known as Mama’s Grill)We either dined in or had taken food out every day/night for 6 days. BBQ pork, bbq chicken, bbq pork-chop, grilled vegetables, grilled pork (liempo) and grilled squid were all delicious & grilled to perfection. Pork, veggie & dynamite lumpias were also great. Homemade sauces were served.Great & kind staff.Highly recommended if you craved grilled filipino food.

Good setup for order, food comes pretty fast actually. We had decent amount of food and it was good actually. You can help yourself for beers and drinks, please be honest at the counter when you pay. I really like theirs sign about the hurry people, it is pretty accurate. It opens at 5pm if I’m correct and close late.

Good grill to have a simple dinner. Always packed to the brim. Easy and simple process makes it very convenient.Choose what you want grilled from a fridge they have at the door and they will cook and bring to your table.Not many vegetarian options (only one type of vegetable skewer), hence giving it 4/5 starts.About 200/250P/ per person, which is average price.

Waiting time is a bit long especially at night but if you have time to spare, it is totally worth it. Very tasty and reasonably priced. Definitely one of the best restaurants in the island.My tip:Skip the squid and tuna kebab order the other meats and fish. The chorizo and pork bbqs are really good.

Amazing food! Not a place for impatient people. Because all their food is cooked fresh. They do not pre cook their meat fish or vegetables unlike other barbecue places.

One of my favorite restaurants on the islands. If you’re looking for a nice romantic dinner or simply just authentic good Italian, this is the place. The pizza is excellent from a wood fire pizza oven, the antipasti platter compliments your wine perfectly, the vongole pasta is light and full of flavor, and the tiramisu homemade and a nice ending to the meal. They have both indoor and outdoor seating available, service was also excellent btw. Can get a little warm inside so don’t wear something too thick..

Me and my boyfriend celebrated our special day here and we’re very happy.The best legit italian pizza in the island! The caprese mozzarella was mouth watering plus we completed out meal with perfect tiramisu.Staff are very patient and friendly to us because we kept moving tables.Owner is also very accomodating. Great food! We had the best pizza we've had so far in the Phillipines. Nice spot on the beach too . Only let down by the prices which were a bit steep in my opinion. Place is a bit tricky to find as its down a small alley way which isn't very well signed.

A very modern and clean dining area with ocean views and an open kitchen concept. I ordered a pizza and it was very good. Holding back 1/2 a star due to pricing; I understand everything has gone up, but these pizzas are still just a bit too pricey even though they taste gourmet.Excellent prompt service. Restaurant can be a bit tricky to find (just be patient).

I genuinely don’t know how there’s a single good review on this restaurant. The waitress did not have a clue what she was doing. The food took about 40 minutes to deliver a cheese platter with zero presentation and just 3 types of cheese on. The only ambience was a baby crying and what I can only guess to be the owners children playing very loudly inside the restaurant. We sat outside with no music or atmosphere, just a nice view. It was definitely not worth the drive to get here. The tomato pasta had no flavour, looked and tasted like a tin of tomatoes was just splashed over it. Would absolutely not recommend. I thought I’d be getting a 5 star dining ‘experience’ for this price. Very disappointed.

All the foods we ordered were not good.Pizza was salty and burned, to the point I can't even eat the dough. Catch of the day was quite okay but salty. Fries was meh, not crunchy, tasteless. To top it off, the owner was making his own private gathering IN THE RESTAURANT that made us can't speak one to another because they spoke VERY LOUDLY. (we were the only consumers that are not his friend)Honestly, I never leave food unfinished, but the pizza is way too bitter.The owner asked about the food, when my friend said the pizza is burned, he went away. That's it. No question on what else is wrong. Weird.I think it's better to find other place to eat in Siargao.

L'Osteria is a hit hard to find but nonetheless a good restaurant for the uniqueness of the restaurants dishes and interior. Servings of pasta and pizza can be small for the price, but the quality is good. Carbonara is made with guanciale and the pizza has fresh arugula and kalamata olives.

This place did not disappoint. Authentic Italian resto. Pasta noodles are handmade and had brick oven. The carbonara was the bomb! Done the authentic way. Pizzas excellent. We shall be back again. It’s a bit on the pricey side but it’s worth it.

The kinilaw and ceviche here is amazing (also massive portion sizes compared to what you would expect for cervice in Europe). A nice Filipino twist on it too. Probably the best food spot we hit on Siargao. The beer is also super refreshing and pairs well with the light food. They also do some really cool T-shirts here.

Absolute favorite resto in Siargao!! Everything is amazingly good and fresh- ate here twice (and even got a shirt 😂) Pacifico is my personal favorite but really also enjoyed Santa Fe a lot. General Luna is also suuuper tasty. For the apps we loved the grilled fish belly! The twix bar also made a great dessert. Everything on the menu seems great in my opinion! Staff were also so fun. Would come back multiple times given the chance!!

Honestly one of the best restaurants we’ve ever been to and definitely the best in the Philippines. The staff from the moment you sit down are friendly and attentive. We tried the Kinilaw and the ceviche, both are 10/10. Fresh, zingy, crunchy, sweet- everything a dish needs. We had ours with the tortilla chips and it makes for the perfect bite!Definitely try and get some of the grilled fish belly or jaw (go early before it sells out!) as it was so delicious.Cocktails were amazing!Don’t miss the dessert either- their homemade twix bar.Just love everything about this place! 100% would recommend.

Best meal of our trip! So good, we had to come back. But I would have been happy to eat here everyday, honestly. I love restaurants that do one thing, and do it well. Who needs big menus when you have big flavors?! The veggie bowl is also fire, and I would marry their garlic rice if I could.

It was my first time trying Ceviche with a local twist and it did not disappoint. A great spot for lunch since the food is heavy. We ordered the Coconut Pineapple (!!!) and Passionfruit cocktails. For appetizer, we ordered the fried spring rolls and our mains were the Guyam (!!!) and Santa Monica. The catch of the day was so fresh and the servings were good for sharing. Got their famous Twix dessert bar as well 😊 I would recommend to bring cash though since the signal is spotty in this area if you opt to pay via GCash and there are no nearby working ATMs.

Ceviche or kilawin? Either way you won’t go wrong. We ordered almost every dish we could. Look at the pics and all I can say is the was a lot of thought for every dish. And it’s brilliant. Bravo to the chef. Too bad we were too late for the fish of the day. Something heftier maybe? The drinks were good too!!!By the way the place is gorgeous!

I can’t even begin to describe how incredible the food was here - if you’re in Siargao, this is a MUST try! Everything we had was exceptional, including the drinks. We asked our waitress (who provided incredible service) what the most popular dishes were and she named 2, which we ordered. We also got the fish skins - amazing. It was so good that we plan to return before we leave the island. Huge portions and great prices too. I think it was the best meal I had in the Philippines overall - don’t walk, run to this spot!

BEST meal on the island. I’ve been here a week and tried this on my last night, I’m gutted as I would definitely have come back again had I tried it earlier!I had the general Luna which was catch of the day (tuna) and it was so fresh. The mix of flavours and presentation of the Kinilaw were just so perfect. I can’t get over how good it was!

I did have high expectations for this cafè and their famous seasonal bowls but I guess it wasn't my type since am not a vegetarian. I didn't appreciate the Bakunawa Bowl cause it tastes weird. It was more oats and banana to my taste buds. Haven't tried the others though since we were full when we got there and this bowl will really get you even more tanked. 😅

Much needed food detox after all the meaty stuff we ate. Serving is so big you can share it with a friend. Friendly and accommodating staff. The place is nice with a good view of cloud 9. Ordered cloud 9 kook and berry good nice.

Shaka is consistently delicious and healthy and although I know I should be more open to alternative food options whilst travelling it’s just so damn hard to resist their amazing smoothie bowls! I’ve been to their locations in Siargao, Siquijor & Moalboal and each time service was great, location even better and bowl/coffee combo was amazing! I’ve tried all the bowls at this rate and the G.O.A.T has to be the peanut butter one 🤤 👏

Great spot for plant-based food next to Cloud 9 🌊 Their coffee, smoothie bowls and banana bread are absolutely delicious! The sandwiches were pretty good too but I thought the bread was a little dry. I would give it a 4.5 overall!🌟

Great way to start your day in Siargao. You get a great view of the sea with eager surfers zigzagging the coastline. Cap it with an amazing smoothie bowl. We tried their Bom Dia and Ubeautiful offerings and it was super tasty and was muito bom!

The idea of having smoothie bowls right next to the beach is a good one. It's healthy, refreshing and filling. It also helps that the staff are warm and the whole island vibes of the café gives you a sense of place in Siargao.

Starting with the positives, the smoothie bowls were very nice, although could maybe have done with a few crunchy toppings for some textures. The overnight oats were pretty bland. The main problem was that they only had unsweetened almond milk for the coffees that day. The coffee was bad, and the matcha latte was undrinkable. It tasted like bitter grass. It could be that if they had a different milk such as oat available the drinks would have been better, but it's hard to say.The location is great, and I can imagine it being a lovely spot to watch the surfers on a nice sunny day. We were however repeatedly hassled by beach vendors selling jewellery. Considering that it's pricey, we expected much more from the food and drinks.

I have tried the Shaka at Moalboal and now here in Siargao - i still feel the same about their food - not spectacular.This place is very popular though with lots of guests all day.I had their Bom Dia smoothie bowl with a capuccino for 380php, my friend had another smoothie bowl too.All smoothies were from frozen fruits except for the toppings of course. Don’t get me wrong - it’s good but it’s not as great. I much preffered Kanaway’s smoothie bowl as they use fresh fruits and it really does make a difference.The staff here though are friendly and efficient. This is probably going to be my last Shaka experience.

How do I rate this... The live music atmosphere is really great and the staff is friendly.But if you're expecting a taqueria, then you'll be disappointed. The place looks different than it apparently used to and it seems there might have a been a change of ownership or management. It's also called differently (Strums) and it's hard to find.Beef tacos were good but nothing to go crazy about. You'll get much better value for money around town.In short: come here for a nice bar experience and with the right expectations

A very bad dining experience, apart from the nice live music. Initially, we ordered and then were told only half of the (already limited) menu was available. The chicken quesadilla was bone dry and incredibly plain. The fish taco was ok, but very oily. We were then waiting for the Birria taco… which never came due to a misunderstanding. The staff, however friendly, appeared to have very little concern for their customers. This made for much confusion and lack of service.A nice place to drink but would definitely give it a miss for dinner.

We didn’t have enough time to take pictures because we devoured/killed these tacos. Friendly staff, cool atmosphere, awesome music even more awesome prices. IGNORE other negative reviews, things have changed and it’s my favorite place now. Birria and fish tacos are delicioso!

Awesome taqueria in Siargao. Highlight was definitely the chicken quesadilla. It's small, like a taco, and crispy on the outside like a panini. It was so tasty that we went back and ordered a second batch. The staff were also really great.

Miguel's Taqueira serves a few choices Mexican food like Tacos, Quesadilla, Chili Con Carne, Burrito, and Chimichanga. Our personal must-trys are Tacos and Chili Con Carne. They recommend taking off your shoes or slippers before entering but it can be quite uncomfortable when eating. Overall, the place is good and a quick bite.

Absolutely the best quesidilla we've ever had! The wrap was nicely toasted, chicken perfectly seasoned topped with an awesome sauce. The beef taco was decent and fish burrito was also decent. The iced tea was refreshing and not overly sweet like other places we've been to.Will definitely be back again to get the quesidilla again!Went back again 2 times! Cheers was awesome!

We had dinner here on our first night in Siargao it is located along tourism road, very accessible.We ordered their paella, periperi chicken, salad and paired it with beer. Everything tasted great and the servings were filling. The paella was good for 2, but 3 people shaed the serving and it was more than enough.The atmosphere was chill, not too loud. The restaurant was clean and the service was also very efficient.They accept cash, cards, and gcash! Very convenient.

As a Spaniard from the foodie region of Galicia, I had high hopes for this beach restaurant, and boy, did it deliver! The croquetas de hongos were out-of-this-world delicious, and the huevos rotos con chorizo and calamares were incredibly fresh and tasty. We were thrilled to find the balearic Pomada on the menu, and we couldn't get enough of it! The cherry on top was the awesome playlist featuring El Cigala, Ruben Blades, and Mana. And let's not forget about the location – right by the beach with a fantastic pool. This place has it all: amazing food, beach vibes, and a stunning setting. Highly recommended!To the owner of this place, congratulations!

Food was pretty decent. My favourite is the mushroom crocreta so yummy probably one of the best crocretas ive never had!Everything is medicore - I was a little disappointed with the paella - it was missing something. That being said, I did enjoy the overall experience. Would not mind going back but would not be my first choice!

I ordered the Daily Special (off-menu) which are Mussels and Fries and Baked Scallops. Paired it with Chili Mint Purple Eye cocktail… the cocktail is great and I think the chef did a really good job on the food but I don’t think it hid the fact that the ingredients (scallops and mussels) are of low quality ☹️

Had the eggs benedict and the yogurt bowl for breakfast, both was average and didn’t have much taste. The iced coffee was good though. Location is nice with view on the ocean.

Well, it's my first time here in Siargao and recommended by friend to visit to this famous restaurant.It's a bit diff to find the place since around 6pm the place was getting dark and need to pass through the bravo shop til the end will only found this place.But without disappointed, their foods are fresh and tasty, the staffs are friendly with smile along, also got lot of choices of drinks included their signature Bravo cocktail and got daily special dishes that u could ask from the staffs.Would be revisited once again in the future.

We went there yesterday for a cozy dinner and ended up with an overall great experience. The waiters could be a little nicer which would definitely improve the experience at your restaurant. The male waiter was really nice though!

This is one of those must eat/try restaurant when you’re in Siargao. This is almost my daily breakfast/lunch/dinner go-to food spot. They have weekly specials, fresh fish/seafood. Food and drinks consistently good since I first came in 2017 even they have been badly hit by typhoon Odette, they are still the same as before. They have Thursday and Saturday acoustic night. Really chill vibe, in the afternoon its a good place to nap - haha! Best of all, they accept credit card.

We came for the restaurant and the food are great. It’s expensive but worth it. There’s usually a wait here unless you reserve a table. Be wary of mosquitos in the late afternoon until closing time. The place is great, I can imagine their accommodation rooms are far better than I expect.

Amazing food! We had a great time there until they let us waiting for 40 minutes for a desert that turns out never arrived because they didn’t noted my order. Anyway, amazing pizza, fish and chips, music and atmosphere!

The food were very good and the cocktails as well. Excellent pizza. The only disappointment was when we came a bit late for lunch. Have to move from one table to another due to a lot of red ants in the previous table. Perfect, moved to a new table but the time was already 13:35Hrs and restaurant last order for lunch is 13:30hrs, missed to order my favourite tuna with couscous for lunch from the menu. My suggestion, five minutes can be flexible if communicated properly the reason of 5 minutes late order from the last order was due to the red ants.

If you are craving pizza, definitely check out Kermit! They have lots of vegetarian options. Our highlight was the hot sauce that came with the pizza! Unfortunately they don’t sell it 😉 For those craving a good glass of red wine, Kermit has got you covered!They also offer daily yoga classes which I can highly recommend and you can book surf classes with a personal instructor for 1400 pesos. All of the surf instructors were good fun and really helped us improve.

This review is for their restaurant. We were recommended to it by other restaurant owners at Siargao Hawker and we were not disappointed. Not on the main road, so it’s very easy to miss but we’re surely happy we didn’t. Pizza was scrumptious and the vibes were great.Sure, there’s a wait sometimes. We waited an hour. That just means the food is good so a lot of people want it and it’s freshly made. It’s an island. Things are laid back. If you need on the spot service, you’re probably on the wrong island.

The place where I stayed during my trip around south east Asia. Beautiful resort with amazing rooms, restaurant and swimming pool. I booked it because I was looking for a surfing camp and it’s the best choice I’ve made. Their instructors are amazingly expert and professional, I learned so much and now I feel much more confident and with many more skills. The place is an oasis where to chill and relax with very good food and cocktails with people you meet there. I’m Italian and pretty choosy with pizza and I’ve to say that pizza at Kermit is pretty pretty good. I extended my stay there for 6 more days and I was so sad to leave. If you love surfing you need to book Kermit and simply enjoy yourself. Thank you Kermit, see you soon!

The best pizza outside of Italy. Fresh made dough daily & drinks menu was good too. Highly recommend visiting this place. Originally started by an Italian but now owned by locals but still an excellent product 🙌

Food's quite amazing. Their pizzas and calzone are really good, their focaccia is too, but could be improved. Haven't had the chance to try their pasta yet. I heard it is really good too. Hopefully tomorrow! Service is quite good, even though they were not too interested in the feedback (positive) but in the tips while paying. Location is good, nice and quiet away from the main street. One thing that I'd say could be improved is the restaurant's flooring, it is not levelled and none of the chairs, benches and tables towards the pizza oven sit horizontally so you are always kinda eating on a slope, which is doable but some it could definitely be improved.

Stayed at Kermit for 4 nights and had an amazing time. The hotel staff is very attentive and their surf guides / school are arguably the best on the island. The front desk was super helpful booking tours, arranging scooter rentals, massages in rooms and airport transfers. It was also a great hotel to meet other guests since many of us were there to surf and went out 2x a day together with the guides.I came to Siargao to surf and am very thankful for the Kermit team. Based on individual skill levels, they will take people to the best spots for their development. Of all the places I’ve surfed in Asia, Siargao is without a doubt the best time I’ve had. Undoubtedly it was because of the quality of care from the Kermit guides- they were very warm, knowledgeable and looked out for us at each of the spots.I’ll be back next year !

Resort: 2 starsRestaurant: 5 starsWe stayed for a week at Kermit Surf and I would leave 1 star for our accommodation, but 5 stars for the staff and restaurant. The smell in the shower/bathroom was horrible it was unbearable. The shower and water smelled so awful I didn’t even want to use it. There was mould around the entire shower and it was simply just dirty. Halfway through the week we discovered mould on our pillows. However, when raising this concern with staff they said the smell of the water was normal and they were able to give us different pillows which were clean. The staff were extremely friendly, very helpful and welcoming. The food and drinks at the restaurant was awesome as well.The resort and restaurant should have separate sections to leave a review.

I think this restaurant is run by the same owner/management as with Derecho. They look and feel the same.Same vibe; lots of variety, affordable food, a photo of your food for the bill, yummy food. They even serve pasta.So yeah. If you're looking for affordable and good food when your in Siargao, you might want to check out Kurvada.

Walk up with a plate and the extremely helpful member of the Kurvada team explain what buffet options are available and will serve you happily. Lots of options for a reasonable price. Take a photo at the end and go up to the cashier to pay! love it!

Cool concept , you go past a line of precooked foods and point what you want on your plate. Then take a pic of your finished plate and pay at the end per the pic. Downside is if you’re not familiar with dishes something that looks good may not taste the way you expected it. I had a potato dish I tasted and left …😳Oh, and value is so-so, my plate of Nasi goreng, veggies , and the above mentioned potato dish was 300php

There is a buffet with different dishes and you can pick the stuff you like. At the end you take a picture and pay by showing the picture to the cashier🤣 love the concept, it's very fast and for Siargao quite cheap (i paid roundabout 200 per plate). We went there nearly every day and it was always nice and very busy but clean & free water as well.

Kurvada is one of the best restaurants on the island. They offer different cuisine at a cheaper price. At first, I thought their food was quite expensive but when I paid my order it was so cheap. That's why I keep coming back to Kurvada they serve the best plus it's cheap 😊

Probably the best homemade food in Siargao, no less! The place is so successful that their food runs out fast so be there when it opens for the evening (5:30pm) or be sorry if you arrive after 6-6:30.

If you are looking for authentic Filipino cuisine, this is the place for you!The prices are reasonable, the portions large.The selection is enormous and you can hardly decide what you want.In the end, you put together a plate, find a place, take a picture of your plate, eat and then go to the cashier with the picture and pay.You sit down with tourists and locals together at a table and quickly get into conversation, which is entertaining and you can collect many impressions.

Love all their food! They serve different menu everyday but the grilled ones and nasi goreng are the best!!The resto has a unique way of ordering and serving. Just point at the food you want, and they’ll add it on your plate. Once you receive your food, make sure to take a photo so you can show it to them when you pay.Oh and make sure to go early, because they get sold out early

Amazing!! Recommended to us as a local spot and we weren’t sure what we were coming into. You come to the front and the lovely servers scoop you out what you want on a plate from a hot pot style of food. You take a seat after wherever you want after, shared tables. The food was phenomenal. Options for vegans vegetarians and meat and fish eaters. My partner and I had one of everything mostly. And together our bill was $330 pesos. Amazing environment energy and food. We were so happy from the moment we walked in to the motorbike ride back to our resort of full and happy bellies. Also there was a pod of puppies hanging out in the middle of the seating area and it brought even more joy to our experience.

Amazing food! Really similar to back home in Singapore where you pick what you want as the staff scoops it on your plate.Really vegetarian friendly as the meats are cook separately on bbq instead of together with the dishes.
