Terrible location! Next to a cemetery!Accessible only by TuktukVery small, bad road heading to this hotelStaff were not very accommodating in the reception, they don’t smile! only the Tuktuk guys who were also their employee were the nice people who helped us and were kind! The restaurant in the resort is highly overpriced with mediocre food. Double the prices if you eat in any restaurants around.Rooms were okay but not great, no TV and wifi is bad. Phone signal inside the room is difficult.Nice ambiance and view but otherwise, everything else is not good! I am not recommending this place. There are a lot of nicer resorts around El Nido.

Somewhat secluded. It's tucked away from the main El Nido area. It's a beautiful resort where you can relax. There are multiple pools and close to a picturesque beach. It's a bit hard to locate so give them a call. They will come and do pick up and drop off. It would be nice if they paid for public parking as well. The room we stayed in was small and next to another neighbor. The room though had everything we needed including beach towels and umbrellas. We enjoyed the breakfast and the spa (hilot massage for the win!) Best of all was the sunset there, absolutely stunning! Enjoy the peace. We had restful sleep and appreciated the silence at night! You can see the stars fairly well here.

Sheena Marie Pinon09:02 06/10/23
We were delighted to receive a complimentary upgrade upon arrival, along with a refreshing complimentary drink. As we entered our room, we were immediately awestruck by its amazing features and high-quality design, especially the garden rooms. It was evident that great care had been taken to ensure a luxurious experience. To top it off, the buffet breakfast exceeded our expectations, offering a delightful spread of delicious options. We initially worried about transportation to the resort, but they had plenty of tricycles available, making it convenient for us. Our stay at this exceptional place was truly remarkable. While we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, there were a few minor aspects that could be improved. The water in the shower had a hint of a rust-like smell, which we understood may be attributed to the deep well source.Similarly, the pool had a noticeable scent of chlorine. Additionally, we would have appreciated having a mini fridge in our room. Nonetheless, these minor issues did not overshadow the overall positive experience of our stay.

We stayed at Cadlao for 5 nights and everything was perfect. Staffs, restaurant and swimming pool were exceptional and we fully enjoyed our stay. Location could be an only snag for some people, but it makes peaceful and calm on the contrary. Also, the resort provide a tricycle service so that location is not an issue at all. The most satisfying thing is staff. They are all kind and professional.

Bryan Dillon14:25 05/02/23
Staff including manager are excellent. We had delays with flight and manager was very helpful and kind. Rooms and surroundings well maintained and clean. Breakfast was excellent. Rooms are small and no fridge. No fridge! First time I have experienced that and very poor. Bar shuts at 10 and considerable distance from rooms. In one instance, water was empty and couldn't get a drink. Really poor. Also, try cycle communication is not always good. If they fix the fridge issue, would have given a 5.

Robyn Moran14:56 03/27/23
My husband and I stayed here in Feb’23 and we loved this resort! Views are absolutely stunning, and exceeded expectations. It is about 10-15 minute walk outside of the town centre. The walk is enjoyable and the resort also offers a tricycle service that brings you right to the edge of the main centre where all the bars/restaurants are. Even though the hotel is located a little bit out, it still has a lovely atmosphere. The food at the hotel restaurant is so good, we ended up going here most nights after day time activities for dinner and drinks. While the food and drinks prices are a little on the higher side, the food was of a high standard and really tasty so it was worth it. The non alcoholic drinks such as the mango shakes were necessarily overpriced though, on par with what you would pay in NYC.The layout of the resort is fabulous and there are 3 separate pool areas to relax at. Honestly cannot say enough about the setting and views - truly feels like a paradise. The cabin rooms were comfortable and very clean - some are adjoined with other guest cabins (separate entrance though) but it was peaceful and we barely heard other guests in the evening/morning.All of the staff were extremely professional and friendly. This resort offers a very high level of service and while the rates are more vs. other local accommodation, it is absolutely worth it! I got a massage at the on-site spa while I was here and it was truly enjoyable and reasonably priced considering the convenience of it being steps from your room.Flying into El Nido airport - there are tricycles that pick up from the airport - if you have a decent amount of luggage these can be a tight squeeze but convenient for a couple/2 people/solo travelers and are reasonably priced. (~350 pesos) they drop you right by the beach, and you can organize with the resort to have a resort tricycle bring you the rest of the way (about 3 minutes trike ride).10/10 recommend Cadlao resort and would love to stay there again.

I stayed here three nights and had a wonderful stay. The resort is beautiful and in a great location. There is a free tuktuk service that will take you to the edge of town, but it is also walkable. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, especially the manager Sid! The views were absolutely breathtaking. The breakfast was delicious as well. Highly recommend!

MNML journey15:43 01/19/23
Review is restaurant bar only. We went for the 5-6 pm , 1 hour happy hour 2 for 1 drinks (including red horse beer) overlooking sunset on Caalan beach. It was worth it. Good attentive service. Clean . Sadly not a Thai restaurant as it was 5 years ago when we visited in 2017. There is now a handful of gourmet Filipino dishes and western cuisine on the menu.

Giorgia Palma13:42 01/17/23
I was traveling on a solo trip and I decided to book 4 nights at Cadlao Resort.I wish I could have stay longer. This place is absolutely stunning, an Eden or better call it Gem close to El Nido town but still hiding from the crowd. The Rooms are just amazing and the 3 pools, the perfect gardens. Wow Wow Wow!I tried the best food of El Nido in this restaurant. The staff is really professional and had a great attention to the guests. The massages were the best I had in El Nido. The place was extremely clean and tidy.So far an Excellent experience. Will be back!! Definitely recommend and worth the money.

Went for dinner and the food was fantastic! There is a lot of variety, I'm sure anyone could find something they want to eat.Staff was very friendly as well and was more than happy to provide recommendations on their favourites from the menu.We were seated no problem but it got quite busy after 7pm and people had to wait to get a spot.

Leon Pope01:32 06/09/23
The board out the front states ‘amazing hummus’ - they are not wrong. It’s was delicious, we had the trio of dips and all 5 star. Cheap happy hour cocktails in a bar with great music and happy dancing staff - the epiphany of ‘happiness’.

jazz c03:08 05/28/23
We had falafel pita and chicken pita when we first arrived in El Nido. It was fast and so tasty. We then went back to Happiness for cocktails on two night during our time in El Nido. Highly recommend the BBK cocktail- it is like a dessert so creamy and yummy. The atmosphere in this place is fun and music is good.

Tahlia McGregor05:41 05/24/23
Amazing cocktails! And great happy hour price. My partner and I had the hummus trio and it was phenomenal. The staff are very friendly and this place has the BEST music 🙏🙏

Rachelle Serquina07:46 05/15/23
Great ambience and friendly staff! Foods and drinks are great too. I don't drink and we just ordered a freshly made fruit shakes. The swings in front of the bar is a plus! I enjoyed it sooo much. Just be careful on swinging as you might bump someone at your back 😂

Fatima Sanchez11:57 04/22/23
We all enjoyed our several meals there. To be honest, there aren’t many vegan and gluten free places in El Nido but Happiness really stands out trying to offer some options to us.The staff were always super friendly, especially a Canadian waiter who went far and beyond to make us feel comfortable.

Iris Prins06:55 02/16/23
Good atmosphere and amazing food. Staff was really friendly, especially manager Quinn who gave us recommendations that we used during the rest of our trip. Would highly recommend stopping by for food or drinks! (also alot of veggie options available)

Lauren Welch13:05 12/30/22
We drank here several nights of our 1 week in El Nido and enjoyed their delicious pancakes for breakfast! The staff are super friendly and the drinks are delicious, they also do a great happy hour deal 3-8pm! A bonus is the lovely dog Pogi who is always hanging around and is always up for a tummy tickle❤️

Charlotte10:03 12/12/22
Cocktails are a decent enough deal on happy hour and we really enjoyed the peach daiquiris. Being able to sit at a swing at the bar was a nice touch too! We ate here one evening and thought the food was nice but quite expensive for what it was considering the portion sizes were rather small.

andrius bernotavicius01:38 11/25/22
The best place in El Nido for the cocktails and fun. Nice swings instead bar stools, super relaxed atmosphere, very professional bartenders and amazing food. These guys do things right that's why the place is always packed with people.Special thanks to gm Quin(forgive me if I misspelled your name). So professional but also down to earth. You guys made my stay special! Shame, I can't give 6 stars 😁

I had an incredible experience at Big Bad Thai. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was impeccable. From start to finish, everything was perfect. The staff was attentive and friendly, always making sure that I was comfortable and enjoying my meal. The menu was full of authentic Thai dishes, all of which were expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. The curry dishes were especially delicious, and the Pad Thai was some of the best I've ever had. Every dish was made with the freshest ingredients and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also fantastic. The decor was modern and chic, with comfortable seating and a relaxed ambiance. Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner or a fun night out with friends, Big Bad Thai Restaurant is the perfect spot.Overall, I would highly recommend Big Bad Thai Restaurant to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience in El Nido. The food, service, and atmosphere are all top-notch, and you won't be disappointed.

Ebru Lia12:45 04/08/23
Me and my friend had stomach ache right after the food. It was our first meal, couldn’t came from something else. We think that the chicken in the massaman curry was not good any more. Gladfully the food poisoning was not that bad and the next morning we felt already better. The location is great and if we didn’t had problems after the food we would love to come again as the taste was good and the location was nice. Sorry for the 2 stars!

Brian Pascoli00:47 03/05/23
Overall the food is delicious! We started with some spring rolls, handmade well filled, very tasty. Then the main courses were flavorful, the fried rice is amazing, the red curry was well seasoned, not too spicy. One little feedback would be on the service, it could have been a bit more friendly/nice.In conclusion, after a good day at the beach, it’s a good place to relax and enjoy a good meal & if you’re lucky as we were, you’ll be able to enjoy it with the sea view

Patrick Hunt01:38 02/16/23
Amazingly Authentic Thai restaurant. Loved the food, loved the service, and loved the views (either walking street or ocean view available). The beer was the coldest on the Island, and the staff was quick to get a refill. We had the Springs Rolls, Cashew Chicken, Tom Yum, Papaya Sweet/Spicy Salad.

Vanessa Siemens13:50 01/22/23
Phenomenal Thai food, and a great atmosphere as well! This place has a great feel to it, lots of delicious menu options (the hardest part was choosing what to have). The service was great, they were very friendly and the food came quickly even though we were a larger group. The spring rolls were great- crispy and hot, and filled with flavour. The laab had the perfect amount of spice and the shallots and lime tied the flavours of the dish together. I also tried a friend's pad Thai which makes me want to return to get it. All in all a fantastic restaurant.

Vicenc Gasco00:18 01/02/23
Amazing Thai food!My husband and I ended up here just wandering around and without any recommendations, and what a surprise! The place is nicely decorated, and pleasant to be in. There’s no AC, but is cool enough as they have two open walls and are continuously running their fans.Food was excellent! We ordered Spring rolls, Satay Chicken, Satay Pork, Pad Thai, Fried Rice and Fried Banana with Ice cream. It was an indulgent dinner, and we could not finish it all, not because it wasn’t delicious, but because we were too full. The food came quickly and really well served (see the pictures), and we loved it so much that we repeated the next night too! It became our New Year’s Eve dinner.100% recommended!!On a side note, go early, or book, otherwise you might have to wait to be seated until a table is available. We had to wait 30 mins each night but it was well worth it.Ser

Yenyra Versace02:42 10/12/22
My boyfriend took me to this place and I like it! The food was great and owner is very friendly they are also very attentive to their costumers. They offer wide variety of choices in foods and all of which are Thai delicacies. The only problem is that it's a bit hot but if you stay outside in their balcony it's quiet romantic and nice.Highly recommend this place if you're visiting El Nido!

Arlene Leyco09:38 08/30/22
Of you are looking for very close to authentic Thai food in El Nido, this is the place to go. Reasonably priced too. We enjoyed everything that we ordered, including their iced milk tea.Make sure to call them first for reservations if you are a big group. Just a heads-up, you need to go up to 2nd floor and expect no air-conditioning. But they have big electric fans to counter the heat.

Sizzling Chicken & Pork Adobo we’re both amazing! Really flavourful and for such a good price in comparison to other locations seen online! Highly recommend

Mario Manlupig Jr02:37 06/26/23
One of the most affordable restaurants in El Nido town proper. Their silogs cost around 150. Other restaurants cost nearly 200. Not much difference but when you are here or you are on a budget, you will feel the difference. No wonder why it’s one of the top- rated restaurants in El Nido.

Lovely Ramos13:23 06/17/23
These dishes are absolutely delicious! The chicken adobo with coconut milk is a flavorful delight, the garlic buttered shrimp is mouthwatering, and the grilled pork belly is simply amazing. You definitely don't want to miss out on trying these tasty dishes!

Lara Röwer04:09 04/12/23
I’ve tried the veggie burger and it was soo good! Didn’t expect a local place to have an amazing burger, especially for that price! My friends had local food and liked it a lot as well! Highly recommend for good and cheap food!

Clarence08:08 04/07/23
Probably my favourite place that we’ve eaten at for our entire stay. There was a bit of a wait since they were pretty busy with the dinner rush but they were quick and efficient with service once we were seated. We ordered the spring rolls, pork sinigang, pork sisig, the chicken adobo w/ coconut curry, and rice. My partner also ordered red horse beer.Spring rolls came out very fast and were served with sweet chili dipping sauce. Piping hot & really good value — we got 6 fat rolls for Php 150 (I think). Then the sinigang came out, followed by the sisig, the rice, and the adobo. The sinigang had heaps of veggies which was what I wanted. The sisig came with an egg and some green chillies which gave it a bit of a kick, and the adobo came with some bitter vegetable which was the only thing I wasn’t a fan of.Overall, I wanted to get more rice and absolutely clean off everything because it was that good. Definitely don’t miss out on their authentic homecooked food that’s 10/10 on value for money and taste!

Johanna S.11:18 02/24/23
I love that place. It’s a cute little family business, not westernised as many other restaurants around. You can get typical Philippine Food for a very fair price over here.

Hannah Lerch12:54 01/04/23
Maa’s grill was delicious! The Tapsilog we had for breakfast was so yummy that we wanted to come back for dinner! We had the spring rolls, chicken adobo with coconut milk, garlic butter shrimp, chopsuey, and vegetable curry - and everything was delicious. I wanted to ask if they would consider doing a cooking class. Thank you!

Mantas Mikulenas01:49 11/11/22
I tried all top recommended places here in town. But only after visited this place i realized that local food can be so delicious. Rice was freshly cooked, fish soft, veggies fine. Big portions, so try one thing at a time. If meal name includes “sweet”- be warry if you are not used to philipino food, because it will surely be sweet. Reasonably priced.

Mikael Jiang04:27 10/08/22
Amazing food and not too busy. Plenty of seats with a refreshing breeze.Would highly recommend!

I would evaluate this place 4* by my standards, but I'll give them 1 more star for accepting credit cards. The salmon poke bowl was not anything special, however, I quite enjoyed the ramen soup.

Gabby Mark12:24 06/20/23
Could not recommend enough! Great food, the poke bowl and takoyaki were incredible. Service was fantastic, the staff are so friendly and genuine, cool atmosphere as well. Definitely worth a stop while in El Nido!

Chris Mathews14:42 06/03/23
My fiancé and I ate here tonight. We’ve been on the hunt for good Japanese food in the Philippines since we’ve been here for about 2 months now and this place has been the best. Best miso soup, quality sashimi, perfectly crisp tonkatsu, and carefully decorated spicy salmon maki with creative application of ingredients. With all the food we had including 2 drinks, I was very surprised with how affordable it was, only 1500php and that’s in El Nido. Charity, our server, was very glowing and happy to serve us, asking about our travels and exchanging stories with us while providing great amazing service. Amazing food, great price, and genuine service.

Kristoffer Torseth17:10 06/01/23
We arrived at this establishment by coincidence.A lucky choice indeed. Although filled with customers, they managed to find a suitable table for our company of four adults and a child. The food is good and the drink selection is more than adequate. I would highly recommend sake, Japanese whiskey and beer with the food!Friendly staff was icing on the cake!

MrJ. Lundgren07:01 04/14/23
Not much competition, but GREAT sushi! Great staff and owner and really good sake and Japanese whiskey! You have to try the Hibiki! And remember to always serve your friends and never yourself, to honor Japanese tradition! Follow me for more tips around the globe! 🤗

Joy Parpan08:28 02/01/23
Barely any tuna or salmon to be found in our sushi. Can get plain rice for much cheaper elsewhere. The pork wasn’t bad however and the eggs were well done. The fruit shake was probably the nicest thing we had.

Susan Caday09:43 12/11/22
We ate some authentic Japanese ramen and it was the best! Definitely coming back next time. The Japanese owner, who amazingly speaks English well is a great vibe! Very nice kirin beer as well!

Kitty Velour12:11 11/21/22
The food was deliciousss! The salmon was unreal. Best meal we’ve had in the Philippines so far! It’s also a nice spot to sit on the balcony and people watch in street below. Would highly recommend!

Translations Lola11:10 11/03/22
We had dinner here 2 nights in a row. My boyfriend is a japanese food lover and he enjoyed it a lot. Spicy salmon rice bowl is the bomb!

Moses Mari Lacierda07:16 10/26/22
The place is located on the second floor, going up there might be a challenge for people with disability walking, just to let you know. But the owner and staff were very attentive and efficient. The place is owned by a Japanese guy from Osaka, hence the restaurant's name. The food is great here. We had ramen, yakisoba, salmon sashimi and other stuff. I highly recommend this place for anyone in El Nido looking for very good Japanese food. Two thumbs up.

Real Customer Reviews at Angel Wish:

M FerMas08:37 07/22/23
We've been eyeing this restaurant for 2 days because of the plentiful fresh catch of the day displayed along Serena St at night. This restaurant has a lot of potential but, sadly, with poor management. The food was really good and they occupied a prime location. However, the restaurant itself is in poor condition like a large shanty, and the restrooms grossly disgusting. Service leaves more to be desired. They don't even smile. Pricey too, for the condition and service provided.Makes me think twice about the quality of food. Will not go back.

Arlyn Gomez19:14 06/28/23
I am still dreaming of the Spanish style crab from Angel Wish. By far the best seasoning and preparation of crab that I had during the most recent trip to the PI (May 2023). The crab was not overcooked and though smaller than I would have liked (I did not choose the crab which I didn't realize until after I could do) and the seasoning was phenomenal. I unfortunately am not able to describe the flavors other than it had a little heat/slightly spicy (I eat a lot of spicy things) and was saucy without being too oily/greasy. It was much better than the crab I had at both Badjao and Kalui in Puerto Princesa afterwards. My cousin and I both ate here again the next day and tried the shrimp with chili garlic seasoning. Not as delicious as the spanish style, but I was disappointed as I'd asked the wait staff the night before if the shrimp could be prepared similarly and was told yes, but different wait staff during lunch and was not able to get it Spanish style. Stir fried kankong was very tasty as well, a little salty, but not overly. Fresh Buko was flavorless; haven't had much luck with Buko during my recent travels. Calamansi juice was delicious and refreshing; not overly sweet and just perfectly tart.Restaurant is much of what I expect for beach front - sand on the floors, open view, nothing fancy. Place was clean. Can't speak for the toilets which we didn't use. Wait staff were helpful and polite.

crisler chee08:16 05/01/23
It was ok. they only accept cash. food was so-so and there was a cockroach right beside me.the mussels, seafood chowder and gambas were good. the lobster was a bit hard maybe steamed too much? the baked egg plant was the worst dish. Small eggplant like baked like a spaghetti ugh better off to just order seafood than that.

Jason Siu14:57 04/14/23
High price for seafood in tourist area was expected. The quality was our main concern. The quality was not bad. However, we didn’t have fresh oyster because it was not the season now. The staff are so friendly. We enjoy the meal very much.

Gonzalo Matamala05:22 04/07/23
Seafood chiringuito well deserve a visit. Seafood was tasty and fresh, savory and well Price located by the beach. There are 2 dinning spaces, the inside one alley is better than first one. Service was friendly and atta attentive.

Jenn07:09 12/13/22
The seafood pasta and mango shake were great. Good price to quality ratio. The crab is not worth it though. 650+ service charge. Barely tasted of crab as it probably wasn’t fresh. Still a good place to eat at. Just maybe avoid the crab.

Kooyah ParoDimpz08:33 10/08/22
So on our way back from our tours I asked our driver where to eat good locally and he recommended this place, I looked at their menu and it looks pretty good, we went and ordered Bistek Tagalog(9/10) , Baked Clams (9/10), Seafood Pasta (9/10), Carbonara (9/10), Chicken Nuggets (7/10), Fried Calamari (8/10), Garlic Butter Shrimp (10/10), Banana Shake and a Mango Shake both 10! It has a nice view of the beach, nice ambiance, fast service and great food! I would definitely come back and eat there again, we actually wanted to just keep eating there our whole stay but we had to try other places too. So far this was our favorite in our El Nido stay. Just 8minutes walk from our hotel, you can either walk through the beach or through the main road and do a little shopping. Overall a 5 Star gem of a restaurant amongst the many restaurants near the beach. We had a group of 4 and it's perfect for a bigger group they have another side that might fit 6 or larger but not sure how many max. Did I mention the seafood they use are fresh just outside the restaurant? Yes now you know, you can pick the ones you want to eat. Enjoy!

Juliet for OnlyOnwards04:59 05/14/22
They have oysters! 100 peso each. Ordered one and it was huge, like my entire hand! I've never seen such a thing. As of the restaurant it's a fish restaurant overlooking the sea. Prices are ok. I ordered garlic butter squid - it was super salty and kind of average taste. Unfortunately they wanted to charge me 380 peso instead of 250 as it stated on the menu. Once the incorrect amount was flagged up it was immediately rectified. I'd go back for more oyster (they need to put them in ice though, it would be nicer cold).

Kryss Hernandez11:30 04/16/22
I'm grateful that my boyfriend's brother recommended this place :)We went here last April 7, 2022, around 5:30pm to beat the dinner rush. Luckily, there was a spot available with a perfect beach view. The weather was gloomy, so no colorful sunset, but it was relaxing all the same. The serving sizes of the seafood we ordered were HUGE, and it didn't take long for them to be prepared. The Sweet Chili Crab was superb! They had a 5% service charge, which is better than most that have like a 12% service charge.Definitely go here before or after peak hours to avoid large crowds. I will be including a video of their menu soon in a YouTube video :)The only con I found was since it was basically located in front of the beach, there were a lot of vendors that would constantly approach us, offer us to buy their goods, and sometimes even stayed and stared while we politely told them to go away. Kind of made eating awkward. I'm still giving them 5 stars though because the food was amazing and the prices were reasonable for the sizes.

Everything was top, pizza was awesome, pasta was very nice as well but perhaps a little too small size. Even though it was dark outside I know the View on the ocean is awesome.

Magdalena Joanna Wittchen10:33 06/24/23
The place is beautiful with carefully selected decor, nice plates, pillows and furniture. Unfortunately those efforts are not reflected in the food. The pizza was rather average and the cheese tasted a bit funny. I also got a salad, which might not be the wisest choice in the area where the water is extremely contaminated, but I needed to eat some vegetables. It looked ok, and I tried to be positive about it but it was not great, and the tuna tasted very suspicious, disgusting one might say. Only if the place focused a little bit more on the food rather than the ambience and decor… it is a really nice looking place.

We will just say GO HERE!! 🙌 The best Italian restaurant ever! So great atmosphere with the perfect interior! Absolute amazing food and super great staff! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Andrea Blakemore22:23 05/15/23
We were walking by the beach and stumbled on this beauty. It opens at 11:00 for drinks and 11:30 onwards for food. Staff were very nice to accommodate us early. Restaurant was in front of the beach which has a good breeze and sunset views during the evening. The food was amazing. Mango shake would do with a little sweetness. Cocktails were good and presentable. Definitely one of the best Pizzas in town. I would come back to just taste the whole menu if I had enough time and tummy space!!

Blathain Callaghan14:42 04/18/23
This was an amazing place for dinner & views. The pizzas were very tasty & there was a lot of choice. They also give two options of sizes which is great incase you don’t want a big pizza. There is other choices on the menu such as small plates & pastas. The view onto the beach is stunning especially for sunset. The staff were very friendly & attentive.

Ela Awitan01:50 04/10/23
We had a great experience here. The staff are very kind and helpful, the food was 100% good and tastes authentic. We also enjoyed the happy hour promo on cocktails. Their place is beachfront so you can enjoy the sunset while having a drink.10/10 would recommend.

Lars Bauer10:32 11/08/22
Located directly at the beach, you can enjoy an awesome sunset here. The pizzas were really good, we ordered one margarita and one vegetarian and both were delicious. Staff were really cool and matched the vibe of the restaurant. Food came in an appropriate time only thing which could have been better would be a bitter size of the pizza for that price but otherwise fine.

Victoria Vikrest12:40 10/21/22
The pizza and the pasta was perfect! The service wow! Kristal was so nice and kind!I am vegan so i took a pasta with mushroom instead of beef and no milk and cheese and the pasta was great! My husband took pizza Napolitano and he said its the best pizza he ever tried. We really enjoyed our dinner!

Ms. Cookie12:36 07/16/22
A solid spot to sit and have a cup of coffee. They have freshly brewed coffee, a variety of pizzas, pastas, fruit plates, desserts, alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. Its really nice to sit there and relax as the sound of the waves is amazing plus the view is majestic.Good and reasonable price. Nice and really polite staff. The only point off is that some of the items are not as what they should be.Oh, one more thing, their pizza dough is amazing!

Hiel Castro13:30 04/16/22
Our reservation for our anniversary turned out very well. They were so accommodating! They gave us everything we requested, including the seaside table with a sunset view. The pizza and the pasta were great. We got the vegetarian with cheese and the bolognese. We were satisfied and had a memorable evening. If you want to get ahead of the evening crowd, be there at around 5-6pm.Definitely going back.

If you‘re looking for authentic filipino food, look no further. Everything we had was incredibly delicious and the portions were huge (most dishes serve two people!). We came here twice and these were the cheapest dinners we had on our entire trip. Highly recommended!

Leo Pangasian23:21 05/28/23
We had dinner here and we ordered "bulalo". Their bulalo is so good and the meat is so tender. We also ordered "kare kare" which tasted ok, but while we were eating many insects flew to the lights above us and other insects landed on our foods so we easily finished our meal.

The food was truly delicious! The place isn't really touristy, so we could find a lot of local dishes that weren't offered downtown.

Kurt23:33 03/25/23
Great selection of Filipino food. Probably the best restaurant in El Nido in terms of food value.

Mario Nikolov05:50 03/14/23
The staff is really nice and speaks good English. We came here several times and had a mixed experience with the food we ordered. The tortang talong was good one day and not the best the next. The vegetarian curry is quite tasty! It's small though, and you need to order rice separately (20 pesos for a cup).Their spicy sauce is quite nice but really hot so be careful. They give you free water at the start of the meal -- that's how you know it's an authentic Filipino restaurant.Overall, it's worth trying. The food is okay and reasonably priced (for El Nido). But, just like most places in Palawan, vegetarian dishes cost more than ones with meat. Always ask about the ingredients as some dishes may seem vegetarian but contain shrimp paste.

Imee Bree20:38 01/22/23
As a Filipino and local, I tell you — this is the most authentic Filipino food. They even use firewood for their cooking their soup, that’s the authentic way we do it in the Philippines. Food were all tasty and in generous portions. Nothing fancy but spot on! Come and try the most authentic Filipino dishes here if you are a tourist wanting more of the real and authentic Filipino food. And if you are Filipino, you will definitely find your comfort food here!

Delicious and healthy smoothie bowls for a reasonable price, perfect for cooling down on a hot day! The staff are friendly, welcoming and efficient. We really loved it here and ate here every day we were in El Nido . Would highly recommend the antioxidant orange bowl ☺️

Loved this place for matcha latte and smoothie bowls! And happy they are open early for breakfast because our hotel breakfast is terrible. They have great vegan/vegetarian options. I added the updated menu and they have more lunch options now too so will try i the future. Cute atmosphere and awesome 90/2000s music playing

Everything about this place is just amazing, the staff are very friendly and welcoming and their food/drinks are outstanding. We had a soy cappuccino and a cool blue smoothie bowl. All Served with First class service. Seriously well done to the team here. I highly recommend this place.

Fresh and delicious smoothie bowls. The coffee had a great flavour to it. They only serve soy milk with coffees.

Cool Blue. Antioxidant Orange. Smooth Red. Hello Yellow. The best vegan smoothie bowls in El Nido!I tried all their smoothie bowls in the menu and I can say, they are soooooo delicious and money is well spent. Staff are very friendly and accommodating and it will be a pleasant experience all the time.More menu items will come back very soon. So keep yourselves while having smoothies and coffee for now.Thank you Nikol and to the entire team. I will be coming back for more.

Ms. Cookie07:52 07/14/22
This is one of the best healthy restaurants I had so far. They have freshly brewed coffee (that might je a hit or a miss to some)They have a well thought interior, small but cozy. Nice staff. It's also located in town, near the beach and all other necessary establishments such as bakery, laundry shop, restaurants, auto shops, trinket shops, etc.

roamaniacs12:59 06/13/22
The smoothie bowls are a bit too frozen for my taste. They taste good, but the consistency is not what I like. The coffee is tasty. The staff is very kind and friendly. The tables are uncomfortable, it would be great to upgrade them.Nice quiet atmosphere, although there is a difference in temperature between the ground floor (AC) and the top floor (fan only)

Ciao, I am Italian, and have been searching for a decent pizza for days in Boracay but could not find one. Before coming to El Nido, I did an intense research about the Italian restaurants.Reading the negative reviews but especially the professional replies from the Roman owner La Lupa convinced me to come and try this place. As expected the pizza was great, you can really tell the quality of the ingredients and my bill for one pizza Margherita + water was less than 7usd - absolutely great price and excellent quality of ingredients! The staff was also very nice and efficient. On top there was no electricity on the island at that moment, but they still made me feel comfortable and provided everything without extra waiting time. There were two Italians on the table next to me who were also eating a very good looking 4 stagioni pizza.I feel sorry for the owner of this place who probably had to make some changes to prices and staff due to those ignorant bad reviews, but don’t let these reviews fool you! Always read the owners reply to see both sides of stories and then judge for yourself.Very good job would go back anytime!

siddhi shah06:14 04/23/23
Thanks to the chef we actually had the original bruschetta for the first time. Good Italian food , good pricing and quantity too. We were late so they only had pasta and spaghetti available

Kim Chen09:12 04/04/23
Incredibly delicious pizza and octopus in fair price. Friendly service without service charge. In addition, there are not many places in El Nido that takes credit cards and provides AC, which makes this place very recommendable.

Valeria Rocca01:16 01/21/23
Excellent restaurant. Amazing pizza! Absolutely recommended. I am Italian and I never go to eat in Italian restaurants abroad, but I really loved this restaurant and went there twice.

Raitis Gorbacevičs06:58 01/07/23
We went here as our romantic dinner during Christmas. We ordered cheese/meat platter, wine, pasta and steak. The food was really good, except steak... It was supposed to be medium rare, but some parts were so chewy that we literally couldn't cut tendons in it (neither knife or teeth). I'm no expert in steaks, but I don't think that that part should be used as steak. I'm sure other people will find their experience better, but for us it tainted our Christmas dinner, unfortunately.

Tommy G15:23 12/18/22
**if you look at the negative reviews, you will see how the owner cannot take criticism and gets nasty in some of his remarks. With that said:Original review :A guy recommended this place, so I was SO excited to try it. My friend and I walked in and the place was empty. All the workers stared and didn’t say anything. We sat down eventually and we looked at the high prices and thought, “OK, no big deal; high prices probably mean amazing and quality ingredients.”The pizza was pretty mediocre. Crust fell apart, the tomato sauce was watery and there was barely any cheese. The picture proves my point. The egg yolk was kind just thrown about. Service and food poor. Ugh, I wanted to like it so badly. How hard is to mess up pizza? And an Italian restaurant?!? Very disappointedReplying to the owner about my review. You’re a sad man. Grow up

김영민11:26 11/25/22
If anyone complains about the price or taste of this restaurant, it's clear that they either have no understanding of Italian food or have only eaten spaghetti at Jollibee. I ordered pasta, and this was the only place in the Philippines that asked about how cook the pasta were cooked. The al dente of the pasta was very good and it was a very satisfying meal. We are very grateful that this restaurant is in El Nido. i'm order one more plate now.

A delightful find. An authentic family small restaurant. See photos (eat upstairs). The staff super friendly and helpful. Extraordinary people, service, and food. Gina introduced to the Happy Home Restaurant experience before I ate at the restaurant. I was sitting in a tricycle, waiting for Carong Beach Resort staff to get me, in the pouring rain. Gina came across the road to offer me an umbrella to keep dry! That is the type of attention and caring you can expect at Happy Home Restaurant. Food is fabulous!

Martin Bolek14:41 05/07/23
We got fresh tuna pasta and were surprised how good it was. 2 people are full from 1 portion. And the prices are really good. Very local and delicious. Always smiling and helpful stuff.

Y Wong14:42 03/14/23
This family-run local restaurant is so rustic, charming and serves absolutely tasty food. Prices are very reasonable, portions are great and service is very prompt and friendly. Enjoyed all the dishes I ordered but the mackerel cerviche and flambé were standouts. Highly recommended if you’re in Corong Corong!

Mr Faisal13:00 03/12/23
I came here twice whilst staying in El Nido. Both times for dinner and I had the vegetarian chop suey and fish steak - both excellent dishes at a good price. The service is decent and the staff seem very friendly towards the customers. It's also a safer option than the night market & street food in El Nido as the food standards are high

Pierre of Monte Cristo11:26 01/05/23
We love the food here. Its authentic, its tasty, its fresh, its alot and its cheap. What is there not to like?I also brought my mother here. She is always cleaning when we are at home. She said this restaurant is very clean, and she has eye for it.Basically, just go to this restaurant. Its worth it.

Ben Benson06:35 12/22/22
A very nice restaurant runned by a Filippino family with breakfast, lunch and dinner options both western and Filipino dishes can be found on the menu. The dishes are tasty, reasonable and the best thing is the satisfying size of the portions. Nothing is worse than being still hungry after the main course, as is often the case in many other places somewhere else. You will not find a better price-performance ratio in this area.

Rémi Clermont14:02 09/27/22
Incredible restaurant. The best in filipine so far. Food portion are huge and price are very cheap. Plates are so tasty and good. I recommend this one a lot! Take the pancake with banana and try to finish it 😋

Ews02:01 09/18/22
I ate here multiple times during my trip in El Nido.. I recommend this restaurant! Family owned.. and they are very nice people! The food is good and priced is very good.. a great place for local Filipino food! Check it out!

Jerome Bautista (coconut_adrift)17:46 07/13/23

YeonHee Hwang05:26 05/30/23

Samantha R23:52 03/10/23

Great ambience and friendly staff! Foods and drinks are great too. I don't drink and we just ordered a freshly made fruit shakes. The swings in front of the bar is a plus! I enjoyed it sooo much. Just be careful on swinging as you might bump someone at your back 😂

Jessica Sjöberg13:23 06/07/23

So keep yourselves while having smoothies and coffee for now.Thank you Nikol and to the entire team. I will be coming back for more.

Thanks to the chef we actually had the original bruschetta for the first time. Good Italian food , good pricing and quantity too. We were late so they only had pasta and spaghetti available

Incredibly delicious pizza and octopus in fair price. Friendly service without service charge. In addition, there are not many places in El Nido that takes credit cards and provides AC, which makes this place very recommendable.

Excellent restaurant. Amazing pizza! Absolutely recommended. I am Italian and I never go to eat in Italian restaurants abroad, but I really loved this restaurant and went there twice.

Grow up

We got fresh tuna pasta and were surprised how good it was. 2 people are full from 1 portion. And the prices are really good. Very local and delicious. Always smiling and helpful stuff.

We love the food here. Its authentic, its tasty, its fresh, its alot and its cheap. What is there not to like?I also brought my mother here. She is always cleaning when we are at home. She said this restaurant is very clean, and she has eye for it.Basically, just go to this restaurant. Its worth it.
