Fast food service, just the right amount of food for its price, the staff who attended to our order was very accommodating and very efficient.But I wish the guards and door staffs would be gracious upon guests' entry (welcome or be able to show to a table) and exits the restaurant (haven't received a thank you nor words saying come visit us again)

Merienda at Dencia’s is a must when in Davao City. Their arroz caldo was hearty and tasty because of the flavor from the native chicken. Their tokwa’t baboy (tofu and pork) was cooked perfectly. It had good lean and fat pork ratio and the sauce was well-balanced (sour-umami flavor profile). The durian shake was so thick that they provided spoon instead of straw. Service was fast. Staff were kind and attentive.

One of our classic and sentimental favorites when in Davao City.Dencia's is a prominent brand in the culinary map of Davao City. It has made an indelible impression with its signature lugaw, goto, and tokwa't baboy. Aside from these bestsellers, the restaurant is also famous for its other offerings.It is not easy getting a parking spot when you visit Dencia's. It is in the busy area beside Gaisano Ilustre and a parking area for its customers has not been considered. So getting a slot is really a matter of luck.Of course, despite this scenario, followers still flock to the resto for its famous food. They are open early in the morning for breakfast until evening. It is our first time to be back there after the pandemic locked down the city.I wish, tho that they serve their brewed coffee really hot.

They have a separate takeout counter and waiting room, which was great. The cooking time was a bit long but it was fine because we ordered two of the big set meals. The set meals are large and we (a couple) shared one for lunch and another for dinner.

Of course the original Davao Famous is one of the aged restaurant here in Davao. Nothing's change all of their dishes is very lamii. Very neat and clean but no parking. You have to look where you can park but the food is delicious.

I used to eat at this place and I remember the food being really good. But I was a bit disappointed that although the physical store has been improved, the food taste sadly has not been maintained. The lechon kawali was not the usual crispy popping skin, melty fat, and tender meat. It looked and tasted like ordinary fried pork. The pork and shrimp lomi was not the usual eggy and thick. The service was sooo slow and the bill had to be corrected because it included a cancelled item. My rating is three stars only because the place is still nostalgic.

Good chinese restaurant within the city. Food is excellent in taste and presentation. Price is above average but worth it. Waited too long for our orders (almost an hour).

The food is good. Do I want to eat here again after the experience? Nah... I maybe will go back because of the fried cauliflower because it is truly delicious, but the rest of its food? Maybe for once. It is not due to its price but it does not match our expectations.

We haven't really tried the restaurant but we had free breakfast from here through their hotel. And just by the free breakfast we had, I can say that this restaurant is probably worth every penny you'll spend. The photos are probably off the menu. You might also want to consider trying their hotel so you can try these.

Lots of people say it's pricey, however the food is good.. great service.. meal for 1 was $70 US which is on par with US prices.. I will go back when I return to Davao.. my only complaint was the AC was blowing on my table which made my food cool faster than normal..

Awesome dining experience.The seafood risotto was spot on.The rib eye steak was cooked to the right doneness- couldve been perfect with a tad more salt and compound butter.The seafood carbonara was creamy and you can surely taste the truffle oil.Okay ill def come back!

I ate here before. But the date we celebrated our 3rd year anniversary with my partner was the best ever. The food is so good. Like you will never be disappointed going here. If you like cozy places and not so crowded for you to dine with your partner or family, I suggest you dine here.

Had dinner here last night. Arrived at around 6pm on a Tuesday night. One of the first customers there so got a parking space inside. But please note there are only a few parking spaces. So how was the place and food. The place was very nice with a lot of Dutch items dotted around the restaurant which also added to the great look of the place. The food menu was large.. we did phone ahead and ask what was on or off the menu. On that night most of the dishes were available so we all were able to get what we ordered off the menu. The steaks where very good.. as was the rest of the food. Maybe the salmon was a little over cooked.. so best to ask the chef to cook light if you prefer it that way. I did order bitterballen.. and... Well was a posh version of the Dutch cheap snack we all so love:).. they were filled with very tender beef.. lovely. They also have an extensive desert menu.. the Dutch apple pie was very good. The service was first rate with all the staff very accommodating. Thanks for a lovely dinner. Our Norwegian client said it was the best food he had been to in Davao.... For this type of food of course!!!

The food was not bad; however, half of their menu was not available, the restaurant looks good, but parking it is not so easy. The area is congested. However, we found someone who directed us to their own small private parking. After we were finished with our dinner, we had a rough time to get out; we had to inconvenience the customer who was parked behind us to let us out. When it comes to prices, I let you be the judge. Since I have posted their entire menu, I must point out that the bathroom did not have hand soap or napkins other than that is an average place. With a fancy name.

I have to say that this restaurant is one of the few (in Davao City) that serves legit steak.We don't have any problem with parking nor overcrowding inside since we dined around 3pm to make sure that we will enjoy the place. And alas! We were the only customer ahahahaThe interior was cozy and the staff were ready friendly and nice. Excellent service since we were the only diners during that time.Food was good. The steak was great. Legit.Need to try other menu.

Wow! Just wow! Their kalderobo is amazing! It tastes like our serkele in Bulacan but much more refined. Their version of mixed seafood is also a must try! One of the best restaurants in Davao!

Had lunch here with family after the longest time. I loved their Crispy Beef Tadyang, Molo Soup and Longganisa Pasta. Their Boneless Crispy Pata was a bit so-so as the skin was rubbery rather than crispy. Their service was friendly and professional!

Most tender Baby Back Ribs we've had. Fresh lumpia comes in a huge serving and the seafood mix has fresh ingredients. There is long wait time for the food but the quality more than makes up for it

The place looks amazing on the inside. It's very ideal for a date, or if youre entertaining business partners. They also have a private function area that you can reserve at the back if you want it to be a private function with your family and friends.As for their staff, they weren't really friendly and accomodating even though it was still early in the morning and there weren't a lot of customers inside the restaurant.I only tried one dish so far and it's their chicken and pancakes breakfast option. There wasn't a lot of meat on the chicken, it only appeared large due to the breading which was a bit disappointing. As for the pancakes, it tasted like your regular pancakes that you could make at home. I'm going to try other dishes in their menu so stay tuned for that.

Lives up to its name, one of the best places for Filipino comfort food. I love their tuna kinilaw because its presentation resembles like that of Japanese sashimi. Their crispy pata kare kare is also to die for. Will definitely be back here

one of the luxury buffet food places here in metro davao but im not sure if its still worth the price. they dont refill food fast and the taste was mediocre. i have dined a couple of times in the span of years and their menu was mostly the same. no major changes 🥲 but they do serve wide choices though.and would highly suggest to book ahead of time. you can easily book through their website.

Lots of choices (food) to choose. Serving for beef and salmon is limited per approach. Just come back for more. The singing and dancing vibe of the crew is very entertaining. It creates a fiesta atmosphere with asian and western cuisines.

Food was very good. Fewer selctions now than before.Some of the food served to me were already cold. (Not actual cold dishes)Service was ok. Slow refills. A couple of snobbish crew or they just don't like being asked. Their entertainment was fun though.Tables for 2s are too close to each other.A huge room for improvement on bookings and waiting time for entry.

From what I remember 5 years ago, they had more food options to choose from compared to the present which is a bit disappointing.In terms of the food, it was okay. When i went around to check what food they offered, there were some empty plates which they did not refill. It was only around 7pm yet they could not keep up with the demand of the customer consumption. As for the food, it was nothing too special in my opinion although I did enjoy one piece of cuisine which was the beef as the meat was tender.I must say, I did enjoy their dancing waiters. They were quite energetic and entertaining.

viking's never disappoints. we come here often and i always leave the restaurant full and satisfied. there is a wide variety of cuisines to choose from; you will never run out of options. my favorite dish is the roast beef (medium rare) with mushroom sauce.

I love this place. You can choose from a wide variety of foods from different places. They also have occasional promos like dining in for free on your birthday with 1 full paying adult or dining in for free on your birth month with 3 full paying adults. The foods are delicious. However, it's a bit pricey for a single lunch or dinner to dine in here but I think it's fun to roam around and choose the food you want to add to your meal.

Nice place easy to locate. My bad I should have ordered my aged steak medium rare, I think I kind of ruined it. Chef Patrick and the team was nice and very accomodating. Despite me.looking like a total mess straight from airport to fat cow lunch. Photos attached, recommended.If there is a brie, burrata or any cheese based appetizer and roasted garlic🧄 as a side or as part of the menu.. That will be total perfect expedience. Kudos! Hope this business succeed.

Nice small restaurant with good ambiance and decor, parking are available right in front of the restaurant. They have got an adjacent room for a big group or parties. This is a must visit restaurant if you are visiting Davao or are a local who wants to have a fantastic meal with friends or family this is the place. The food is simply divine, by far, in my judgement this is one of the best restaurant in Davao.

Their food has exquisite and rich flavors that dance in your mouth. We celebrated 2021 father's day here by ordering beef salpicao, medium rare steak, and tomato-based pasta (forgot to take a photo of this). While waiting for your food, you can watch how the chefs work inside the kitchen, which makes the experience made it more meaningful. Aside from the food, the staff complied with health and safety protocols - to another level in fact. Upon entering, you are required to submit your contact details for contact tracing purposes, then pass through their sanitation mist, and scan the QR code for the contactless menu. When the food is ready, they have envelopes on the table for you to store your masks while eating. Lastly, each table has a portable alcohol dispenser that has a built-in sensor so you don't need to hold the dispenser to sanitize your hands.

We had Very nice Asian buffet dining experience at Tong Yang In SM City Davao. There are a lot choices from appetizers all the way down to desserts and it was worth it. The seafood, beef and pork meats for grilling as well as the cakes and the cucumber juice were excellent. We were enthusiastically served by Jason Endrina and Steven and they were very nice and accommodating. Great job guys! 👏

Came home for a 3-week vacation and decoded to meet my college friends here. Apparently, this is a popular place for get-together and dining with family and friends. I can see the novelty of cooking your own food in a public setting, but I honestly was not very crazy about it. I always cook at home 😁 The pre-cooked food were delicious though - they always run out of tempura 😋 Not so much variety on the dessert, but overall, good food. Service was awesome, staff was attentive to our needs and provided us with everything we needed. The room is definitely conducive for chatting with friends - I think we stayed there for 3 hours +

If you're looking for a reasonable buffet in Ecoland.I highly recommend the Tong Yang buffet, one of the nicest buffets at SM Ecoland Davao City. I've been here aA couple of times and I'm still impressed.There is a vast range of food to choose from.Grilling marinated with a variety of seasonings.Shushi, shabu-shabu.Liquor, soda, and juices are examples of differentbeverages. They also serve a variety of desserts.For the assistance. The entire team is incrediblyhands-on and accommodating.

One of the best buffet restaurant in Davao City. The attendants are very accommodating. Shout to to Kim, Jason and John Rey for serving us. The the food are all good and fresh. I enjoy eating here looking forward on my next visit.

The entrance is not very welcoming. It looked.. too outdoorsy. But when you go to the restaurant, the ambience changes. They have an air-conditioned area and an al fresco seating.Location: it’s not by the highway. You have to get to the end of Maryknoll Drive to get there.Place/Ambiance: The restaurant is good. The view is nice (not jaw dropping). There’re construction activities in the area which ruins the mood. But it’s okay.Price: We ordered their breakfast which is ₱ 299.00 per person. The price is just right for the loaded meal.Food: The food was delicious. Love their sikwate.Service: staff were friendly and accommodating.

I love this place. It is not far from the city center, and you get a view of Samal Island and the sea. We got quite a bit of food but clear stand out for me was the durian shake! It was so good! The chopseuy (I forgot it was called) and crispy pata were great.

Aside from the dining experience, kids can also enjoy the playground that is available in the restaurant. Though the food is served that requires a lot of your patience, it is still worth dining. I love that it has a direct sea breeze.

Food and the service is impeccable! The moment you enter the place you'll be greeted with happy faces.The menu has a wide array of delectable cuisine. My personal favorite is their pork barbeque.I would definitely go back there soon!

The staff is friendly and they do have a parking lot to park. We got there around 6pm which was perfect because around 30 min. later the rush came.It is kid friendly with a variety of foods. You can choose between a smaller serving or bigger serving for some of the dishes.The water is mineral water and they plastic wrap the water cup after it’s been washed that you peel off before they start pouring.Once you order the wait is not long before your food comes out.We sat inside where the AC is but you can opt to sit outside and enjoy the ocean view. Since we went at night, we opted for AC because you can’t see much when it’s dark.

Abroad resto feels yung alfresco area by the sea.❤️ food is good. Ambiance is great lalo na pag less people. Nice resto to being non-davaoeño guests. Used to be our go-to beach resort during childhood— Maryknoll pool and resort. Just 10 mins away from home.

Food was great, served fast, tasted fresh, swift payment. Staff doesn’t touch your glasses when giving you service water which is very good. They also greet with a smile (though not visible).My issue is the view. It’s part of the dining experience — seeing the sea while eating. However during this visit, t’was low tide, the garbage on the beach is discernible. Pieces of trash covered with mud which look like it has been etched there long time. No odour, though.

I love the food here, but for some Filipinos who are used to extensive seasoning, this might not be your cup of tea, but personally I like it here.Their dishes are reasonably priced, and their serving size is not that bad. Will definitely come back here for more!In terms of the atmosphere inside the restaurant, it's very laid back, too bad when you look outside their windows though as the scenery is not very pretty because it's located in a crowded residential area, but other than that, still a great place to go on dates.

Great atmosphere. outdoor patio seating as well inside dining. I have been wanting to eat here for a long time. They have very extensive menu. It was a very good experience. We will definitely go back again.

Swiss cuisine, like its country of origin, is a smorgasbord of the cuisine of its neighbors.The key is in the appropriation of its flavor. The Swiss Deli in Davao achieves just that.Everything we ordered were from Switzerland's neighbors. Croissant is French. Sausage platter is German. Tomato soup is Andalucian.Cheese platter is Romanesque.But the combined taste is divine. My first course - smoked ham and olives with draft beer is a reward for hard work.Plus a company that is not in a hurry despite the flight ...The beer and coffee selection is satisfying.Service is efficient.

Good food and a fantastic location!🍴We had a great meal at this restaurant. We particularly enjoyed the seafood chowder, it was absolutely delicious. They offer to split the sourdough bowl if you're dining with someone else, which is a nice touch. The Spicy Pork Spareribs was amazing, and the Chicken "Zurich" style always feels comforting. The pasta in Aglio e Olio and Mixed Seafood was a bit overcooked, but the taste was still good. I highly recommend ordering the Frozen Margarita while enjoying the night view, it's the perfect pairing.👨🏻🍳 The service was excellent and the staff were amazing, they were very friendly and helpful.💵 Accepts cash and card paymentOverall, it's a great place to dine and I highly recommend visiting.

A sad experience! Soggy tuna sandwich (add more mayo please…it looked like it was scooped out of the can and straight on the toasted American bread slices!) a lackluster cold cuts plate with a few slices of cheese (even Che-Vital tasted much better!) and salad that will make Wendy’s blush with embarrassment.And to top it all, there was no water to wash our hands when we came here.Even the Swiss maid costumes of the servers did not cheer me up! If the Swiss can only see how their honor was named for this store!

A known “must try” when in Davao but did not meet expectations on food quality. It is underwhelming. When you pay on that price level, you expect more.Ordered buko juice served on the coconut itself but surprised its sweetened. The view is great, yes. But the taste i don’t recommend. Dined here twice, 2018 and 2023, respectively - my impression before remained the same.

One of the best views in Davao. Best at night. Simply wonderful. Two excellent restaurants. One is enclosed and air-conditioned. Great food but expensive. The complex has a pool with waterfall (go late and skinny dip with your girl). There are 3-4 cabins for rent below the ridge. Lots of fun 😊. Rent one. Spend a long weekend here. The smaller restaurant is also a great bakery.

(Visited last February on a weekday night). The ambiance in this place is very nice. Their bathrooms are fairly clean for a restaurant with a large number of customers. They have a variety of dishes to choose from. Most of the dishes we ordered tasted great. The place is very wide and big.For the cons: We made a reservation for a big group, paid thru bank transfer. The staff were not responding, and it was difficult to contact them, especially during their operating hours at night. We had to go back to the place to make sure that they received our payment. The place is kinda remote. No public transport is readily available. Fortunately, their security guards are very kind in assisting us to hail a taxi. I'm not sure if they have pertinent ordinance in the city, but they close early at 10PM, with cutoff order at 9PM.Overall, our stay was good.

Jack's Ridge was, as always, a great visit with breathtaking views of the Davao Gulf, Samal, and Talikud as well as the city center. I was a bit bummed out that my favorite monkey was removed from its post. The kids missed it too. The restaurant had many items which were unavailable, taking away from our experience. But the staff was hard working and even offered to refill my water bottles before we left. That was a great attention to detail and truly made my experience a pleasant one. It would be pretty cool if the restaurant attendants would ask customer who are about to pay if they need a taxi so the wait would not be so long.Another suggestion would be to add a ceiling fan to the taxi waiting area. By the way, both times I visited recently, the tourist officer and entrance security personnel were OUTSTANDING and hospitable. Great going!Disclaimer: I rated the rooms 5 stars such as not docking the establishment since I did not visit the rooms. Please rely on other reviews and pictures to measure overnight accommodations.

I took me Girlfriend and her family out for her birthday to this place. Our first time there and we had a great time! The service is great! We got our food really fast and it was all delicious! The views from this hilltop resort are amazing! I highly recommend you putting this place on your list of places to see here in Davao City!

It's always awesome every time we visit here. My parents live close by, so it is always a go-to place for dinner and just to hang out for photo ops 😉 The ambiance here is great, fresh air, overlooking the sights and sounds of the city. The food tastes amazing, and the portions are just right for the price. The staff are super attentive and have the perfect sense of humor to avoid any dull moments 😁 I personally love the group that serenades the customers - hopping from one table to the next. They even allowed us to sing along, which was super fun and awesome! It's definitely an awesome place for family gatherings. I will be back again and again. Keep up the awesome work! 👌

Very nice view. And super great service. But, the food was not the best. I ordered the Beef Kaldereta, but the vegetables wasn't really cooked and also the rice, so it was hard to chew. But other than that, it was a fantastic experience over all. Thank you so much! 😍
