A great buffet lunch experience at Club Balai Isabel. They serve buffet meals during weekends.

It was past lunch and we're starving, then we stumbled on this place and found out we can dine in. The food and service is superb, along with the perfect view this place is so perfect, hats off to Terraza restaurant.

Decent Filipino Food 🍱 fair prices and wonderful atmosphere including live singer playing the piano

If you're looking for a place with a view of the Taal volcano by the lake, this is a good option. It's inside club balai isabel, and even if you don't have reservations, they'll let you in to dine in the restaurant.Wide choices of Filipino food. They accept cash, card and gcash. The restaurant has a view of both the pool and the lake.Toilet has showers for those using the swimming pool.

James Thompson02:48 02/14/23
Excellent food and service. We ate an early Filipino dinner. Very good Pancit. Club sandwich and Tawilis. It was our first time eating Tawilis. It's truly unbelievable that the Tawilis and other aquatic life can survive the Volcanic activity.

Knice Knafs07:21 08/25/19
Located inside Club Balai Isabel as their main dining outlet, Terraza offers your favorite filipino fare like bulalo, crispy pata, pancit, grilled liempo and more prepared and cooked with great quality. I only rated them four stars because i found their buffet to be a bit overpriced given the modest selections, but their ala carte options do deliver as promised(portions are good for 4-5pax)! Some seating options allow for pool-side dining with a great view of taal lake. Their wait staff are courteous and accomodating(shout-out to Karl who served us dinner during our stay).

Martin Bondoc06:11 11/16/18
Excellent view, great service, tasty dishes, and reasonably priced. To visit, go to Club Balai Isabel and be prepared to hand them an ID to receive a guest pass.

JON Gonzo14:29 05/06/17
The food is always fresh and delicious. Your view of the area cannot be beat. They have a great International selection including the best pizza around.

The food was good and we had their set menus and it was indeed good enough for 10 persons. The sinigang, Shanghai & sisig was really good. Will recommend this place.

Had a great food experience here, very native. 5 stars for this

Juan Paulo Florendo06:19 12/03/22
The Bulalo was not good at all. It tasted like the instant noodles you buy at grocery stores watered down. The fried tawilis was barely crispy for the price of everything I would rather eat a known restaurant.

Gerald Muriel (Temiatwork)10:07 08/17/22
Side road eatery along Talisay-Tanaun road. Native motif and good Filipino food.

I gave this 4 stars overall.First the good stuff:Food is the star here, we ordered sisig, lechon kawali, nilasing na hipon (drunken shrimp), garlic prawns/shrimp and of course Bulalo (beef bone broth soup). They arent salty, just enough taste but delicious. Photos are attached.Food price is not expensive. About 450 PHP (10 USD) per head.Service is fast and efficient. They also have bells that you could ring so crew can hear you. Food were cooked and served in decent amount of time.Atmosphere is good and the nipa huts add some ambience to it. However, I gave it only 4 stars because of the mosquitos. There's some mosquitos flying around our hut though they have kulambos (mosquito net covering the huts)

Gracia's Kusina07:33 06/03/23
6-3-23I highly recommend this place for their good service & food. Balinsasayaw is a Nipa hứt restaurant & serve Filipino cuisine. You can pay in cash or through debit/credit card.Parking available infront but uncemented. Wheelchair unaccessible.

Anika Natividad01:20 05/30/23
This is the most worthy alfresco I have tried. Even though we dine during lunch, it was not that hot. Staffs are very attentive and initiative whenever we need to order something. The food is excellent, best sisig!! Comparing the prices with other restaurants near they are much cheaper but without compromising anything from service and food quality.Definitely will comeback!

Al Kaz Borromeo09:34 05/12/23
This restaurant is a great place to dine, especially in the cozy huts. We have visited four times and have never been disappointed. The food is excellent and the prices are very reasonable. We highly recommend trying the crispy chicken kare kare, Sinigang na bagnet sa pakwan, pinakbet con bagnet, chicken binakol, and Balinsasayaw rice. These unique dishes are not found in many other restaurants. The staff are friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. This is now our go-to restaurant whenever we are in Tagaytay. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food and a cozy atmosphere.

Ted Byzan Gementiza (Ted Bee Gee)11:54 03/19/23
Excellent Place to have get-together! Loving their outside seating! Service are quick. Staff are polite and courteous. Ambience, Perfect! Food Quality, Perfect too! Highly Recommended! 💯👍

d b12:32 12/13/22
We always come to Balinsasayaw whenever we're in Tagaytay. It's quiet most of the time, except when there are guests that talk really loud. The food, really great and worth its price. The service is good. You just have to ring the bell in your kubo or casita to get the crew's attention if you need anything.

Dennis Mejia (Chaell)14:01 09/05/22
Great place to dine. Relatively inexpensive compared to a lot of restaurants in the area. I love the option of eating at nipa huts thoughtfully enclosed in what I think is mosquito net, though we decided to eat at the main hall as we were all tired and just wanted a straight forward eating arrangement. 😊Update 2022 September. This time around we tried to eat in one of the nipa huts. The place was surrounded with healthy plants, and we even saw a pair of playful butterflies. The food is still great, and the staff were all coordinated.Still 5 stars and I look forward to coming back. New photos uploaded. 😊

Mark V12:01 03/12/22
Been here twice in the past 3 weeks. It’s a great place for life celebrations! Great place and relaxing ambience (especially with the different kinds of huts available for “alfresco” dining), lots of greens, and great Filipino food! It’s a must-try and worth the long travel!

Great place to eat out with the family

Emilia Jamie Gaviola12:31 05/24/23
Food was bland. We ordered sizzling sisig. We expected a lot as the place seems superb. Ambiance & service was great but the food was too pricey for its taste

Elmar Gacad01:51 02/25/23
The Food was great and the Portions was amazing but there's a HIDDEN service charge of php90.

Julian Keith Muncal (Juls)14:40 03/09/19
This place is one that i can sincerely recommend. Been here twice and the food is consistently good. As everyones knows there's so many restaurants in Tagaytay serving the same and usual dishes like bulalo, tawilis, crispy pata and the likes. But the food here at Viewsite are consistently good and absolutely inexpensive. The Karekare is rich and loaded but doesnt take like karekare mix. The bagoong is addictive with the perfect saltyness and sweetness. The adobong pusit is as good and tasty as Aling Tonya's of Seaside, Dampa. Atmosphere and ambiance are a-ok despite being located beside the highway. Plenty of parking.

Frederick Talania12:00 04/16/18
The waiters are inattentive. They can't even give a glass of water for you while you wait. The food is just fine, but the time you'll wait for the order is very long. Our Tawalis is so late it's a waste. The good thing about here is there Bulalo soup which is tasty.

Gino Morales05:27 03/05/17
Superb buffet of Filipino food with Lechon on the weekends. A very reasonable price buffet at PHP 450.00 per head and half the price for kids.

And Roy04:10 02/27/17
I agree with slow service. We were billed incorrectly, thrice. Shrugged shoulders and said meh. Don't try the inihaw platter, it's not worth the P1,6k+ price tag. Bulalo salty. Maybe it was a bad sat night and they have good nights as well, but heck that's what we got. Good location though as we decided to eat there because of the grinding weekend traffic at 6:30pm.

Great food, great price and delicious halo halo.

Brendan Rosen02:11 06/29/23
Diverse, delicious, and authentic local dishes. We ate the maliputo sinigang and the Milan’s native salad. Both were great, especially the milan salad. It’s refreshing to find a place like this that takes pride in Filipino cuisine. The dishes are creative and utilize the best of local ingredients. Much of the interior is decorated with native building materials and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. It’s clearly a place where locals and visitors have enjoyed with their families for many years. The service was also friendly and professional.

The food is good!! But what mattered to us most is that the staff are AMAZING! Super friendly and all smiles!! 🤍

Must have been a super busy day as servers are having problem keeping track of orders. They made up for it though with their cheerfulness while they serve.

Jt Maldupana00:16 12/08/22
Our group of 50+ people dined in the open air huts at the back. I had a good lunch of Liempo and Chopsuey. Also enjoyed their Leche Flan (Php 150.00). The owner was nice enough to share the restaurant's story of how it hosted several notable people like Jessica Soho and Noli de Castro and how it survived for more than 15 years without raising its prices and how it takes care of its 20+ employees.

Ariana Agar00:44 11/11/19
Very cozy! Food was very good. The menu definitely needs more descriptive words. They were out of several items and drinks. Price was decent. They even helped us get a tricycle back to our hotel. I recommend it but be patient with the menu.

Amihan Euza Mabalay01:58 04/02/18
Perfect stop-over in Talisay. Yummy authentic Batangas food, cozy provincial feel in the Al fresco dining area. Just a little pricey but if they will improve serving time, will be worth the extra money.

Thank you Casa Celina for the wonderful dining experience during our breakfast.Hello readers! I hope that you can soon visit this restaurant/ cafe/ events place. To tell you honestly, this is one of the restaurant that has the most accommodating and friendly staff. In addition is the great food that they offer which is also value for money.I will also include their unlimited coffee and ginger tea with the scenic view of nature. 🫶🏼🌱The place indeed is very relaxing, homey, and one of the best here in Tagaytay. Two thumbs up for kuya (the thin one). I haven’t got his name but continue your great job in assisting customers. 👍🏼👍🏼

Reynante Sevilla00:51 05/03/23
Dropped by at Celina Restaurant for breakfast and they have a very nice relaxing ambiance. The weather was quite nice and cool as well so we enjoyed our breakfast. Menu options are sufficient and they have good variety from the various *silog breakfast options, signature Filipino dishes like Bulalo, Kare-Kare, Lechon Kawali and more. They even offer free brewed coffee while you wait for your food. There's also province like ambiance around the restaurant where you can take pictures like a garden with fountain and grassy area, there are live roosters at the back area and a lot of bamboo trees on the "kubo" style dining area.

Dokrik69 Vee04:41 04/07/23
Authentic Filipino cuisine served.Massive place good for events like parties, weddings, etc.Friendly staff and it offers unlimited coffee and ginger tea.Best seller is Tawilis (TAWSILOG)

James Thompson05:08 02/26/23
We had a Birthday celebration with about 20 adults in the Nipa Huts.Good food and nice atmosphere for any event.

Lilia Madriaga01:06 11/12/22
There is wow factor in the ambiance. The atmosphere feels nostalgic bringing us back to the Spanish era. Fresh, green plants will catch your eyes plus it has a vibe of an ancestral house turned into a restaurant. The place is very clean and spacious. We arrived the place at around 10 am. At that time, we like to eat grilled fish.. We ordered grilled tuna, whole maliputo w/c the waiter suggested to have half grilled and half sinigang which we agreed, ensaladang talong, crispy tawilis and salted eggs. We were told for 15 mins. cooking time so while waiting we were served with hot coffee and ginger ale both on the house. The fried tawilis is so crispy and perfect with vinegar dip. Sinigang na maliputo has the right amount of sour taste, veggies are generous. The grilled half maliputo is not as moist as the grilled tuna.. Maybe we should have chosen another kind of fish. The waiter is courteous. They only accept cash.

Casa Celina has that old school Filipino style restaurant vibe. It will remind you of your lola's house or your old ancestral home. It's well lit and the ambience is fantastic, especially at night. The lights make dinning experience absolutely wonderful. The service crew is friendly and very accommodating. The food is good. I love their Tawilis and their Lechon kawali. Their Bulalo is also great. I would definitely recommend their Halo-halo!! The price of the food is definitely the best part! Absolutely affordable!Overall, the experience was good. I'd definitely recommend the place for it's good homey old school vibe and for it's great price!!😊

Dani Mallari11:44 04/09/23
Breathtaking views! Definitely worth the visit if you're celebrating an occasion. Chill dining, can get a bit expensive (around Php 400-800 per meal).Food is above average especially for Tagaytay restaurants, mostly serves Filipino dishes with a twist. As for the service, they serve quick. Waiting time is 20-25 minutes, they move the tables for you if needed (for bif groups).

Nice lake taal view, and delicious foods.

Ramon Saliganan10:54 01/21/23
The atmosphere in this restaurant is just divine (but expect some noise from kids as it is a family oriented restaurant). A breather (literally from the fresh and cool breeze) from your busy life in Manila. The food was also amazing; the portion is just right to satisfy your hunger and desire for great find. The service is also good, not much waiting to eat those delicious meals.Side note, make sure that you are in the right area as there are other restaurants sharing the same space.

Espresso Coffee is good but not great. Tita vibes. Peaceful place and great Taal View.

Great food with a perfect view for dining! It was a peaceful place and not the crowded ones.

Dex23:05 04/01/22
Food is ok nothing special but did not disappoint. Since this is in Tagaytay, it is pricey. The ambiance is great, with the garden and the nice view of Taal lake and volcano.

M C13:20 02/19/18
The food is okay, you will not disappoint somehow. Only, it's not what you waited for. But what I liked most is the view.I guess, the only concern is the waiting time--waiting time to be seated or perhaps the management of customer accommodation; plus the waiting time for food to be served even you ordered it already. We waited for a total of more than an hour before we had our lunch.Good thing that they have pasalubong store and there's Rowena's as well in case you need to get something for a quick bite.

JonSid03:29 06/27/23
Spectacular view.Made a mistake in choosing my coffee. For the first time in a while, I craved for a 'caramel macchiato' and I was served with the sweetest caramel macchiato I had in my life.I politely asked to adjust the taste and they offered a shot of espresso. Thankfully still not too late in the day so I was able to recover from caffeine.Their cakes on the other hand is nothing to write home about.

CC L10:31 06/24/23
In a bag full wonderful flavors one could often experience multiple notes on thier beans roasted and brewed to your perfect cup while you sip and enjoy that morning fog or that after breeze. As always bag of beans from tagaytay on one of their new branches is amazing as always thou minus those wood lodge rustic vibe from their other places. This one boasts a European picturesque ambience along the mountain side just beside mega wrolds hotel within reach.Good food , great company and that amazing cup with a wafting aroma what more can you ask ? Plus they serve amazing all day breakfast and other meals 🙂

Marco Angeles05:45 06/21/23
Had my Sunday breakfast here. Not too crowded and was able to get a seat good for 3 people.I ordered the country breakfast whlie my two friends ordered bacon omelet and breakfast sampler. Masarap naman.Price vs serving size is good but a bit expensive.

Simon Tablazon11:15 01/17/23
Great place with a great view. Went here on a Monday morning and there were barely any people. The food is top-notch, I would say. The pumpkin soup and fish & chips in particular were outstanding!! Other dishes in the pictures are the breakfast platter and Bangus breakfast, they were good as well.My only complaint is that the restroom is abysmal. There is literally only one toilet and the door leading to it is NOT A FULL DOOR. There are gaps at the top and the bottom! You will have no privacy! This is kind of outrageous for a restaurant. If you have no need of restrooms, then the food and the view should be worth it enough.

Kristel SS13:19 09/04/22
I love the food here especially the seafood pasta with cream sauce. They have options for the seafood pasta, you can have it in tomato sauce, cream sauce or aglio olio. In their menu, they have fish and chips but we requested to replace the chips with rice. The place needs some renovations since their ceilings are leaking (it was raining when we last visited). The view was supposed to be breath-taking but because of the storm, we only saw fog 😅 and a little taal volcano from time to time.

Veronica Kate Lacson07:56 07/23/22
Bag of Beans can somehow be considered a Tagaytay institution due to its decades long legacy. Menu is decent although I expected more variety from their place. The food here is really delicious and somehow overpriced, which is expected since it's a fine dining restaurant. The 10% service fee is already added in your bill but you can still tip if you like.

Neldz MA10:33 03/24/22
If you're looking for a good and ideal family breakfast head to Bag of Beans Twinlakes, staff are accomodating. When we went the second time, they were not yet open but decided to open early because we are already there. The guard even mentioned that they usually opens at 9AM but we arrived earlier and we were entertained at once. Food is good, as long as it appeals to my kids we are good. Scenic view is given, nothing to ask for. We'll keep coming back here if time and gasoline will allow.

clarencait 2403:17 12/25/21
We were just in time to catch the sunrise and the store opening on Christmas day❤️ It was a pleasurable experience, absolutely because of the stunning view and the cool breeze. My 2 daughters are not heavy eaters so they shared the Breakfast Sampler, they complained a little because it was oily so they were not able to finish it. I had the Fish & Chips and shared it with my partner who had Beef Tapa, both were overloaded with flavor and the serving was hefty. Definitely will be our number one go-to in Tagaytay.

it's a very nice place to both enjoy the food, and to drink and chill as well👌 they have acoustic live bands on fridays and saturdays (according to the staffs)

Doc G.00:03 11/27/19
nice place for friends ..food is affordable .. better if you visit during weekends.. they have live bands..

Henry Montanez14:26 07/07/19
Quite, serene, laid-back and homey. That's what it feels like being there. The staffs are nice and welcoming. The food? Well, needs a little bit of improvement especially their milkteas and the size of their servings. But you dont go here just to have a good meal but also to experience up-and-coming and well-established OPM artists. Its a shame that I forgot the name of the tandem in the pic who were performing when we went there. But they're good. They even let some of the guests jam with them. Make sure to go there with your car because commuting on the way back to Tagaytay Proper is very difficult especially if you want to enjoy until the wee hours.

Jen Pallesco22:48 04/23/19
Not so secret place anymore. Good venue to catch up with friends and chill. You could choose to dine on three sections, main room where the entrance is, the roof deck and below the main building where the acoustic band is. The food choices are simple and affordable. Lucky you if the owner of the place pays a visit and you get a chance to take photos with them. (Chito and Neri, known local artists in PH).

Vina Grace13:40 04/16/19
Foods are decent but is really overpriced. Don't think a single piece of Isaw is worth the 25 pesos when you can find the same or some tastier for only 10 or 15 pesos. The vibe is good and relaxing tho.

Staff was accommodating, the view was majestic. We stopped by here for dinner before heading home and we were not djsappointed. The serving size is good for 2-3 people, as per staff, but can also be good for 3-4 for those with smaller appetite.

We experienced such an amazing trip. It has a camping site 🏕️, and the view of Taal Volcano is beautiful both day and night. The scenery is so relaxing that you can enjoy family trips and make some good memories ❤️. There is a free coffee any time if I'm not mistaken, overall 100 over 10 HAHAHAHAHA.

Restaurant / Campsite / Downhill Bike TrailWent here for an overnight camping. You’ll get the best view of Taal. Affordable rates and very flavorful meals. Unlimited brewed coffee for campers. You should try their Bulalo! Meat was tender, savory broth. Excellent service. Also, people go here for trail biking.#InnovaCamper #Itssarrrap

Great location! We were able to sit by the kubo overlooking Taal. Not too many people too so lots of parking space and fast service.Food is less pricy vs other restos in the area. But taste is ok. Not bad. Not great.

Seems legit, authentic japanese cuisine. Food is good and price is reasonable. Serving size is huge. Place is quite small but nice, clean and very japanese ambience. Service is good. Parking is challenging though.

Ordered Tantanmen Ramen, Okonomiyaki and Spicy Salmon. The spicy salmon was bland, no taste and not spicy, the ramen taste like a local soup noodle, the okonomiyaki is the worst, lots of flour no taste, so hard to eat. We ate here before, even this year only but the food taste good.

Davidson Jimeno13:09 06/16/23
Nice place, ramen base is a bit bland, chasu was tough, gyoza is very nice as well as the yakiniku beef. A bit expensive for the quality/taste.

We just tried this restaurant for the sake of having a Japanese food for lunch because it’s near our farm. It’s nothing special, hindi masarap. The noodles of the ramen is literally like a lucky me noodles, the pork cutlets taste old, the rest really sucks. The only thing I like are the staff.

If you're craving Japanese and find this on the way, this place has a good price point with okay offerings. Not the best tasting food (worth driving for 30mins plus) kind of place.Their chawanmushi is really good at 120pesos. Order this ahead because ours arrived as we were finishing our ramen.Limited parking spaces available. It's good to go here on a weekday.

We had dinner and tried their best seller tunkostu and beef ramen. Both delicious and authentic! Staffs are very accommodating. Ambiance is cozy and intimate, it's relaxing to eat and have dinner date. Thanks!

One of the best and most authentic Japanese Restaurant in Tagaytay. All of the food we ordered are delightful and tasty. The staff are all very friendly and accomodating. Highly recommended and will definitely visit again.

Awesome food! We eat a lot of Japanese food and this restaurant is above average. Tempura is very crispy, the udon was superb! Serving size is big. Ambiance is nice and spacious. Will go back again!
