This place is one of the nicest places we’ve been to in Santa Fe. Super good food and views if you go during the day. You can also go here for dinner if you want to spend a nice evening at a beach side restaurant. We had pasta and calamari and a drink to go with it. Definitely coming back if we’re able to visit Bantayan again.

Great place to hang out, have delicious food and the coldest beers on the island. Nice to swim in the beautiful turquoise waters, a fresh water shower for after the swim is provided. Free pool table for customers. Here you easily can spend several hours. We came several times. Amazingly trained professional and friendly staff. Open minded and outgoing owner, all together great atmosphere all for a very reasonable price.

Everyone in our group enjoyed a wonderful meal at Stumble Inn. The staff were friendly and accommodating, the meals tasty and generous in size. The beers were definitely the coldest we'd had. ☺️A beautiful sea breeze and lovely view made it a relaxing place to sit.We capped off the night with a fun game of bocce in the sand.Congratulations and all the best to the new management, Derek, and staff as you add your own flavour and style.

The restaurant is like 5min away from where we stayed. I always passed by to it and thought it would just be ok. My husband and I decided to try it and just chill cause it's facing the beach. I've seen good reviews of their food, so we ordered the most recommended meal. I am impressed how perfectly golden brown the seafood basket and the serving of the ribs is a good size! Eds approved!👍

You should try this place when you visit bantayan. This pork ribs is just 350 pesos and the serving of meat and veggie is already good for 2 people. Very accommodating staff. And the place is so relaxing. It is beach front. We went in the afternoon but i guess having breakfast here would be great too.

The owner, Milton, is really nice and welcoming. His waitresses struggled to talk to me in Tagalog luckily he was around and took my order. 😭 They have reliable wifi for work and you can also swim on their beachfront for free. YOU MUST TRY THEIR CHEESECAKE! ✨

Service is so slow. We only ordered pasta and sisig and it almost took one hr to be served. Idk but the staffs are not ok to serve? Then the taste of the foods are not satisfying at all, burned garlic on alio oglio, who would like that?Ok, the location is accessible to other resto.Hopefully, there will be improvement to their resto.

Prolly one of the best restaurants nearby. It's the only restaurants that I've had in the area that sold good food for a fair price. Portions weren't insane and it was well made. I would definitely go again on my next visit to bantayan.

We ordered vegetarian pizza, and it is definitely not the best. It's bland. Drinks are okay.They have limited wifi or just don't expect anything.They have a toilet.Nice ambiance. There are some outlets.Nice to chill here for drinks. I'm not sure if all the food here is good.Accepts cash and cards.

Worst service in town. Took half an hour and a reminder to get one cocktail and one beer, even though there were like 5 waitresses behind the bar doing literally nothing else than checking their phones and laughing out loud. Place was almost empty when we arrived, only three tables were occupied. The only waitress who really seem to be working was pretty rude- cannot blame her though as she was the only one actually working.Food was average, quality and price wise. My cocktail was pretty good though.Time to pay comes, and I get three different bills, as every time they forgot to charge for something else. I wasn’t able to pay with credit card, as they only accepted card payment for bills over 1000 pesos. As I asked for a receipt, cashier was reluctant to give me what she called an “official receipt”, so I was just provided a hand written paper with prices on it. She wasn’t friendly at all neither.The place looks beautiful from the outside, but it’s not really worth it if the service is that bad.

Ambience has a lot going for it. Stay here if you have time to kill.Large servings expected for the price.Menu is extensive with quite a lot of drink options.Inconsistent service. It took about 30 minutes for our bill to come through.Management is quite receptive to feedback though, would not be surprised if you have an impeccable experience on your next visit.

Let's start with the positive, great location and comfortable chairs in restaurant.The owner is German and handles the procurement and logistics of the restaurant and does an excellent job.His wife or girlfriend handles the wait staff and service end of the business.We have eaten here three times and this is our experience.The wait staff spends alot if time in the bar area talking.We have had to call them over every time to order our meals. You will wait an average of 40 to 50 minutes to receive your food.Always seems like it's not super warm like it sat for awhile before being delivered. There are lots of restaurants in this area that deliver delicious hot food to your table in half the time.It's a great location and has potential, just need to handle the wait staff and redirect there priorities from talking to customer service.

I haven't stayed at their hotel although we are frequent diners every time we visit Bantayan. Their food quality has dwindled over time. It is very cozy but there are other restaurants that are much more worth it to dine than this one.

I have personally had the pleasure of visiting this establishment several times, and I have to say, the food, drinks, and overall atmosphere here are fantastic! From the delicious cocktails and craft beers to the fresh and flavorful food, you will not be disappointed. The staff is always friendly and accommodating, and the ambiance is perfect for a night out with friends. I highly recommend Coucou Bar Hotel and Restaurant for a great evening out!

Baked scallops and crab where excellentShrimp in sweet and sour sauce was good. Pork was fine but not as outstanding as the seafood. Good service speed. Would gladly eat there again.

Great food selection with "Very very" budget friendly prices. A good for sharing ulam ranges from 120-250 can be shared by 3 to 4 people. They also offer buffet for 198 pesos per head. You'll be surprised about the menu full of fresh seafoods and lechon for this price.

This is an all you can eat seafood buffet and very inexpensive. But because it’s inexpensive the only seafood included in the buffet is baked scallops and fried calamari. They add side dishes, rice, lumpia, fish food. The food tasted good, but was only mildly warm. Had it been hot it would have been delicious

Ate here for their saturday buffet and their scallops are the bomb! It taste so good it melts in your mouth.The other food offered though were average, the lechon doesn't even have that much flavor. The selection of the food that day were also very limited to scallops, lechon, menudo(?), kilawin, and the other shellfish (i don't know what it's called) Heard that some days, they also offer other seafood like calamares. Too bad it's not available that day.

One of the many food stalls in Sta. Fe area. This is the first time I visited the place. The last time I was in Bantayan was Sep 2017 and this place was still under construction. They offer meal options which is definitely a “savers” option for budget travelers like me. The place is well ventilated so dining is never a hassle. The place did not meet my expectations, the food is not so delicious, waited a while to get it served, the staff is not so accommodating.Will definitely check out the place next time to see for improvements or decline. 😉Review update: 10/09/18The place definitely improved during this visit. Their food is a lot bette now, staff is also accommodating. We visited the place for lunch.

Had a great dinner here last week! My friend from Cebu highly recommended this restsurant and im happy i tried it!Food is for sharing, i found the serving really large. The nachos were homemade (not those ready chips) and were so good - we had the tequila chicken nachos and there were some mangoes in the salsa on it and it was great! We had the pork chimichanga, a fried burrito, it was also very good and very big 😆 we had beers (in crochet-ed holders, so cute) and had a great dinner. The stall was beside a resto with live music so we had a nice vibe.We paid in cash, but there's also gcash available.

Brilliant place. More of a texmex than traditional Mexican place. Serves tacos and burritos. They are the bomb. Real tasty food.The owner is this expat that is there what seems like every night. He's a hoot to chat with. His engaging personality adds to the ambiance. He'll mix you a fantastic drink.Place is inside MJ square. Any trike driver can take you here. There are lots of other food and drink places close by that add to the overall vibe of the square. Often have music playing making it a lively place.

The best food we had in Bantayan. Nachos and quesadillas were comfort food and plus they serve mojitos, margaritas and tequila which comoletes the whole tex-mex exoerience. Chef Jaime is still one hella great guy, when you eat here expect to be entertained and treated like he has known you for a long time - a VIP.

I’m not a fan of Mexican food but of all the restaurants I’ve tried in Bantayan. This is the best. I would go back to this 100% Fast/good service. Reasonably priced. Got the nachos and chimichanga and it was superb. Hoping to try the brisket next time. Please come to Manila!

We have eaten here three times, and our experience is that we really like this restaurant. The food is fresh and the nachos our made in house. Taste just like you would get in Mexico home made. The staff is friendly and attentive to your needs.The owner is also very attentive and makes sure your happy or makes it right.This is a great restaurant and a must try when visiting the island of Bantayan.

Chili con carne tortillas 5/5. Pulled pork burrito 3/5. The tortillas are freshly fried and are excellently complimented by the chili con carne. The burrito, however, was bland. The rice was soggy and we could not taste the beans. I've tried the burrito six years ago and it was outstanding. I always craved for it that I vowed I'll have it again should I be in Sta. Fe again. This visit was somewhat a disappointment. The place is also too warm to have lunch in. The staff was very courteous in directing the electric fan to us but it was simply not enough.

I went to Bantanyan Island on May so sorry for the late review haha. The BEST Mexican food I've had in all of Philippines PERIOD. The owner lured me in by saying he had some of the best food on the island and I took his bluff except it wasn't a bluff. The wait wasn't long as we had chips with salsa and all the food we ate was extremely authentic. I love Mexican food so everything was delicious. He, his wife and workers were so nice. Everything from service to food was perfect. So good actually that I came back in the morning lol. I recommend to anyone that loves Mexican food or willing to try something new. Who knows maybe you Filipinos might like it. You should go there. I'll definitely go back there again next time in Bantayan Island.

Staff is polite and nice, but the food was worst I have had in Philippines. Fried chicked was like it was fried since morning - the crust was unedible and the meat underneath it was trie as shoeleather. Some junks just contained two chicken bones joint in a crust. I hope the other dishes are better but I'm def not going back to find out. Pitty as the place looks nice and had good music.

The place is peaceful and not crowded. They also have CR. It's just across MJ Square. The crew are friendly and accomodating and most of all the food is delicious and affordable. We never thought the food we order is big unlike restaurants in the city.

Very disappointed. I ordered hukad lechon sisig and pork Bicol express, both are salty; lumpia Shanghai & siomai not good; baked cheesy scallops &steamed shrimps NOT fresh, calamari not well seasoned. It’s not worth to eat here. It’s better to eat at mall foodcourt. NOT recommended, their food are just mediocre.

We had our late lunch at this resto.We ordered Lechon Belly, Chicken inasal, 2 plain rice, garlic, and bagoong rice.My husband can't get over the bagoong rice. You won't regret ordering specially if you are a fan of bagoong.My personal favorite is the lechon belly and the dip. That vinegar with cucumber (I assume it has a cucumber) balances the taste of anything you dip in. The chicken inasal was not so interesting but when dipped into that vinegar sauce you'll consider worth ordering.We'll definitely order the Cebu Lechon belly again.

The first time we ate at Hukad was in Cebu a few years ago. Yesterday was the first time we tried a Hukad resto in Manila. We ordered mongos which is sautéed monggo with coconut milk, deep-fried bangus, green mangoes with bagoong and pancit canton. We also ordered a pitcher of pineapple-cucumber Agua Fresca. The mongos was okay, nothing special. It had tiny bits of ginger so if you don't like ginger, watch out for that. The bangus was so bland. I don't think they salted it. It was also too small and we ended up ordering another one. Didn't taste the pancit as I'm allergic to soy. My son liked it though. The bagoong was so-so. Ambiance is okay, overlooking the sea. The staff are accommodating. I asked that the cucumbers be peeled for our drinks so that I won't get an allergic reaction and they happily complied. You can get unli rice by adding 10 pesos to the reg rice.

Food is good, in tried their labuyo fried chicken and it was good. Never taste chicken like that. Thu the place is quite smaller than i expected for this kind of restaurant. Their dishes are cebuano's/visayan isnpired, and as a visayan, i was really craving of their food especially ngoyong. Ngoyong sauce is basically similar to what i have tasted during my high school days in Cebu. I really ated their for like 3 scoop of rice could be around 6 cups of rice!I hope they will have bigger spaces for servings!The place is located in SM mall of Asia 2nd floor near baywalk.

Overpriced with little servings.I ordered a beef tapa worth 160 pesos. I received a sizzling plate with 5-6 little pieces of beef tapa, one rice and one egg. I called the waitress and asked her if that was already worth the 160 pesos that I paid..she answered yes and said that they're only serving 75g. I was disappointed when I heard that because she didn't do anything about my concern. Another group from the table adjacent to us looked surprised as well with the little serving of food that they received. Even the juice that they served was meh. It's clearly not a good first experience in Bantayan. Look for another restaurant inside MJ Place and don't bother buying from this eatery.

I've tried a bunch of different foods with varying experience. Sausages were good. Tortilla and sea food tapas not bad although small. Most disappointing were steaks, but I didn't have much of expectation for a 200P "Wagyu".

Some of the food is greasy. The cheese & meat is good, plus the bread & olive oil is delicious, but they didn’t have this on our 2nd visit for food.The staff are lovely.On our last day we were drinking wine & ordered 6 glasses. When we asked for the bill we were told the wine was special & cost 150 per glass & not 90 as advertised on the menu.I was a little disappointed by this extra cost as we had spent 1 other evening having drinks & another having food here.

Life saver specially for those who are starving during the wee hours, when most of the establishments in this island were already closed.I so love how they prepare their food and the ambiance with the rate of a "carenderia".and their benguet coffee, heavenly..i so love this place that I consider this as my kitchen, and the seashore, my living room. ^_^this is home.

A small stores that offers breakfast meals. They are open 24hrs so you can drop by anytime your tummy tells you to eat. They offer variety of food option,a perfect additional to the existing list of restaurants in Sta Fe.The wait is a bit long during mornings, there are flies around but they manage to put candles in the hopes to counter the flies.

Great new little restaurant at the main entrance of MJ Square. Specializes in exotic meat with specialty spice mix options served sizzling hot with egg on cast iron. Mixed with rice their dishea make a hearty breakfast, but great anytime of day or night. Great new addition to Santa Fe's expanding food scene.

American here! My fiancé and I returned here for dinner three nights in a row! Seriously, incredible food. The wood fire pizza is awesome. The gnocchi is some of the best I've had. Pizza Bread was good. But we enjoy another order : Grilled Scallops with cheese were very nice (ordered 2 times).I suggest you to order garlic bread (65$) and scallops (110$ for 6/7 pieces) instead of overrated/overpriced pizza, which are definitely not the best we have eaten in Philippines.

Best pizza in the entire Philippines! Been traveling for a while now and this is for sure the top spot if you like a traditional Italian pizza.Do not hesitate to come here when you are around the area.Made in a traditional homemade brick oven, homemade sauce, dough and cheese. This is always going to be my first stop every time i arrive here on the island.

Pizzas are made in a brick oven made by the owner himself. Hes been making brick ovens for decades now (you'll find most brick ovens around the region were made by his hands) and started this restaurant only 5 years ago.Both pizza and pasta lived up to the hype of his story. Highly recommend!My personal favorite was the seafood pesto gnocchi.

This Place was amazing. We had the BBQ rib platter, the Hawaiian pizza, along with the mozzarella cheese sticks. Everything was great,from start to finish. One of my go to places here on the island

Good woodfire pizza (nice mozzarella and tomato sauce but the pepperoni was not good), the pasta was okay but a bit overcooked. the babyback ribs was good ! its a small restaurant with a good friendly service ! reasonable prices !

i love that their pizza and pasta are home made and baked in a traditional brick oven. they are yummy. i cannot count the number of times i have been to this place and if you are not in the mood to personally go there, you can have your pizza delivered to any hotel in Sta. Fe.

I would not recommend M.J. Square to anyone. The customer service was downright bad. The waiter told me that my food would be ready in about 30 minutes. Two hours had passed, and not a single dish was served at my table. They also charged unreasonable prices for this food, and it's not even that good. They think adding chunks of cheese to their dishes will justify their prices. I also saw the cashier and the waiter arguing; they were so unprofessional, like, why would they yell at each other in front of their guest? That place is definitely a 2/10. There are lots of places with delicious food on Bantayan Island; don't waste your time and money at M.J. Square.

The place is perfect for dining and chilling. It may be crowded especially at night but the vibes is still relaxing and comfortable. I loved how hospitable the locals are.

My wife and I were on holiday here, and we were struggling to find some good coffee. We stumbled across this place and decided to give it a try.We ordered some coffee and relaxed for a while before we eventually got chatting to the owner. A friendly woman, she told us about all the things that had changed since we had last visited, and we discussed the post-covid effect on the island and the various businesses there. Our daughter befriended the owners child, and we decided to have some food while the children played.I ordered the Thai curry, and my wife ordered a seafood soup as well as some rice and fish for the young one. The food was fantastic. It's absolutely delicious, in fact. The coffee was delightful (I had 3 or 4 as it happens), and we were very happy to have given them our custom.We will definitely return here should we visit the island again.

Don't be fooled by appearances, their dishes are legit delicious! I don't usually write reviews but I had to for this one. Super busog for the cheapest price compared to others around the area. Our group of 8 persons ate two dinners in a row here despite the many attractive options in the area. They season their dishes well, and without exaggeration you'll get the same taste and quality dishes with good serving sizes as you would in more expensive restaurants (their shrimps deserve special mention, they're to die for!) We were actually surprised we only spent 1.5k for 8 persons and yet we were stuffed! They're also very attentive with additional requests and are honest with their waiting times.Their only downside I guess is it looks just like your typical karenderia which tourists may overlook as it's not airconditioned and may get humid during the day but they make up for it with many strong standfans they place near tables. We ate past sunset so it was not soo uncomfortable.Super satisfied with their service. Definitely recommended for budget backpackers or anyone looking to save on spending but not on quality food.

This place is quaint in appearance yet super clean and fantastic in flavor and price. You can have a delicious meal at a great value. Many locals always return here, so 'when in Rome'. My favorites include: sweet and sour pork, grilled squid, lechon manok, chicken curry, chop suey, and pancit guisado. For breakfast, I always order their omelette as well. For first timers, make sure you arrive before 7 pm because the orders do get extensive. Overall, always worth it 👍👍👍PS: Their tindahan next door also has great prices on drinks!

The best lechon manok i've had. Juicy meat can be sucked off the bone.But giving 4 stars because vegetables (really salty) and squid (small) were disappointing.

Food price excellent (local prices not tourist prices)Very friendly staff.Food was delicious, good portions. Prawns were my favourite. You don't get many but based on the price just go for a double portion and it's still excellent value for money.

This is my favorite restaurant in Sta.fe, they have an accomodating staff. Foods are great and it's affordable (ranging from 90-150) and servings are usually for 2-3 persons. I hope they will add additional ceiling fan or electric fan because during noon time place is hot, they should provide comfortable air for the customer.

This is place exceeded all our expectations - the food was so good! The chicken and shriimp sotanghon soup is huge and very tasty. Cannot recommend more!
