Found it funny that they disinfect you with a steamer before you go to your massage room. But I guess it gives clients peace of mind with that added safety measure. What makes the treatment in Mandara unique is you get rubbed down with heat packs all over so it somehow eases the muscles before the actual massage. They then leave those heat packs on your back as they work on your legs. Mmmmm… After the treatment, the masseuse scrubs you with a hot towel so you don’t leave sticky and oily. I paid $1000 Php and gained access to their steam room and sauna after my massage. My male masseur was good and continually checked in with me around the pressure. My friend also had the same service however he didn’t enjoy the massage at all and ended the service early.Their system seems well organized and the massage table and rooms were clean. You got to have a shower before and after the massage.Upon leaving you were handed an envelope to provide your masseur a tip, I didn’t receive any pressure from the reception team about the amount.This was a quick visit whilst waiting on my flight back home. You should try some of the massages that they offer. Its a friendly spa and rates are quite expensive but it has reasonable offer and services.
