She diligently spent a lot of time and effort to make sure the discomfort was gone. Her skills were great too! She hit all the right pressure points, and my body felt as light as a leaf after. Souri CBR15:31 04/23/23When we checked into I’M Hotel we were told Onsen Spa was the best in Manila! Excited to try, I booked 2 services on Sunday 23/04 at 8pm. The hot stone healing massage for 90min, started by the therapist dropping the water from the heating pot. I had asked for strong pressure but there is a difference between strong pressure & being rough (the whole experience was not relaxing) the stones were too hot so the therapist moved to my legs did a massage then started using the stones on my legs once they cooled down, then went back to use the stones on my back placed on the towel because they were still too hot, when I was asked to turnover I was told 20min were left & her plan was to give me a head massage! So front of body got no treatment in a 90min massage service!!! I told the therapist I had asked for my hips to be an area of focus & they were barely touched! So she spent the last 20min on my hips as I requested but no head massage. My other treatment was the Korean foot spa add-on, which was supposed to include a mask & warm herbal aromatic oils but I did not receive any of it! Above it all, when I told the receptionist how disappointed I was she didn’t even acknowledge it! No let me see what I can do, no let me speak to the manager, nothing except I’ll speak to the therapist!!! Well what will she say 🤷♀️ I did a bad job? Of course not… Do your own research before booking any treatments with them - very disappointed and won’t be back. One of my friends experienced discrimination from a parking attendant, asking her what is her business in the hotel. We had to endure an especially rude spa attendant who failed to assist us every step of the way and acted like a drill sergeant barking orders every 5 minutes. She did not even try to reach out to her supervisor when we politely asked her about something. The attendants were all clueless of what is going on and what they need to do.Please do not go here. Only one of the cups actually sealed and left the signature circle mark on my back. The other cup’s didn’t seal or have any pressure as evident by my back. I had an amazing massage after walking through Manila all day and felt very very relaxed and all aches were gone. Can’t recommend this company enough. You’ll just have to try it for yourself. You can park at Century Mall which is a short walk away just 1-2 mins crossing the street.Reception and booking: the lady at the front desk was polite, friendly, professional and prompt. She was attentive, responsive and provided quick service.Masseuse 1: I think this was masseuse number 12 they call their masseuse by numbers. Anyway she came to me and I followed her to the elevator because their massage rooms are on another floor. We came from the penthouse and she took me to every single floor. When we finally found the room which should have been just one level down the penthouse the aircon was not working. We transferred rooms and masseuse began and she didn’t know how to massage. Let’s just say she applied almost no pressure at times when she decided to apply pressure it was on the wrong points. It was so bad that I had to ask her if she had been trained. She said she had but then also broke protocol and started to comment about how my body was and then was chatty even when we were doing the massage. Anyway I booked 90 min massage for 1800 php and didn’t want to waste my time so I asked her to request for a new masseuse which she did.Masseuse 2: she was professional and really good. If I had gotten just this masseuse I would have scored this place a 5For the price I felt they initially tried to rob me by putting an inexperienced trainee on the job like I’m paying full price but they don’t even have quality control… but because I was assertive I managed to get a better masseuse just too bad the initial experience was so bad I’m traumatised to go back!
