2 years ago, I came in with lavender hair asking to get the color out and go back to platinum. There was very little color left. The woman who did my hair charged me $250 and completely destroyed it ; my hair was in good condition before I’d come in as I’d only ever go to salons and treated it carefully. Yesterday, I went to Confetti Crown and the woman pointed out all of the damage to my hair that was still present at the bottom of my hair because of this place. There is a clear distinction between all of the growth (down to my chin) and what they did.The stylist was extremely unprofessional and was telling me in a hushed voice all of her racist beliefs (that BLM was bogus, she praised Christopher Columbus ??, she made a ton of racist comments) and after finishing up my hair, she just told me to crush up some vitamin C tablets to get the brown dye that she accidentally put in out. The reason I’m leaving this review now is because the damage is still extremely present and in order to get rid of it after the two years that have passed, I’d have to cut my hair to my chin. Please proceed very carefully with this place, I ended up paying another $300 elsewhere to get the dye out and chop nearly all of my hair off.attached are photos of my hair the morning after my appointment, no shower nor styling in between the appointment and these photosEDIT: in response to your comment: I see that you still have that same stylist employed despite similar comments to mine about her. After 2 years, the damage was still significant to the point where any hair from that salon appointment has broken off. I have referenced you in previous reviews to other places. (New update at the end)The lady who did my nails was very kind and gave me a wonderful experience for my first manicure, but I was disappointed by the amount of gel polish on my cuticles and nail bed. It looks uneven and a bit sloppy. ( I am used to typical nail polish where those imperfections go away after a day (especially a shower). But more so than these little imperfections, I was told my nails would last a couple weeks, and although I just got them done yesterday, one of them is already chipped significantly (and I have been extremely careful with them). I will be getting engaged in the next couple of days and I am disappointed that in these special pictures featuring my hand, one of my nails will have already been chipped.Update: it has been less than a week and the gel polish is already peeling off of my nails. I don't know if this is normal, but I am disappointed. I was told they would last a few weeks.*Newest Update: I was given a complimentary manicure to fix my nails and it turned out great! Everyone was very kind and the polish is no longer on my cuticles so it won't peel. I am very thankful!

I recently got my hair done at Tilt88 salon and had the pleasure of working with the most amazing hairstylist, Blu. Not only did he make my hair look the most amazing I have ever seen it, but I have made an incredible, loyal friend. I am in my 50’s and I have had more compliments on my appearance after Blu’s hair extensions than I have on anything else I’ve ever had done. My best investment so far!!! Blu does beautiful blowouts, color, and uses the best quality hair extensions. His hair extensions are different than the kind all other salons use; they are specially imported and unbelievably soft.Blu previously worked in New York among well known celebrities and clearly gained the best hair styling experience. He recently moved here to Eugene for a simpler life and I couldn’t be more happier, because what used to be a dreadful experience is now what I look forward to when it’s time for a touch up.

I had an appointment scheduled at 1 PM with Angelina for an eyelash fill. around noon I got a text asking if I was able to come in a little later and I let her know that I could and asked her what time she wanted me there. She didn’t get back to me so I showed up at 1 PM and sent her a text letting her know that I was waiting in my car in to let me know when to head in. At 1:45 I let her know that if it was much longer, I would need to cancel my appointment. At 2 PM I actually went into the salon to see if she was there. And the girl said that she would go check in and see. I waited about 10 minutes in the lobby and finally got frustrated and just left. Then finally at 2:15 PM Angelina replied to my text and said that she was still with her client and that it was OK if I skipped my appointment. LOL. Honestly, one of the most unprofessional experiences I’ve had at a salon, and I absolutely would not recommend anyone going to Angelina if they value their time. Between the drive to the salon from where I live and the time spent at the salon was about two hours of wasted time.

I get my lashes done every month by REBA. She is amazing, super clean, friendly and she offers drinks & snacks when you’re done with your service. It’s nice that she offers a silent appointment so you don’t have to talk if you don’t want to or you can if you choose. Her bed is so comfortable. She offers after care kits as well for lash clients so that’s a plus I don’t need to go somewhere else to get anything. She also offers a lot of other services as well as lash classes. I took those as well, amazing educator, very thorough. You won’t be disappointed!!!

I had a terrible experience at this salon. Beth cut my hair and not only did she do a terrible job but she was rude, patronizing and rushed. I’m 20 years old but she spoke to me like I was a child. When I was trying to show her how I wanted my bangs cut she cut me off, stepped in front of the mirror and when I asked her to move so that I could show her the shape I wanted she told me she already knew and cut them before I could say another word. When I told her I wasn’t happy with the shape she said that it was my fault for “not telling her what I wanted” even though I made multiple attempts to. I also don’t use heat on my hair and haven’t for years other than the occasional blow dry. I told her this and she scoffed at me. She than blow dried my hair on the highest heat and without even asking picked up a straightener and started using it on my hair. She also seemed very rushed the whole time, seemed irritated when I asked her to fix something and continuously mentioned that she had a date planned in ten minutes. My hair came out uneven and choppy and was once again left crying over a hair cut. I should have got up and left a lot sooner than I did and I really regret that.

Update: August 2017I went into the salon today for a hair cut, I worked with Heidi. I expressed what I normally do with my hair, how it tends to lay flat to my head if not properly styled (I wanted to just wear it for the rest of the day since it was 10 am)and we talked about the style I would like to have cut into my hair. I thought we were on the same page but we were not. She did not listen the way I thought she had. The cut itself is decent enough, but like I said, my hair LAYS FLAT. What does she do? Brushes it downward from the root... Then she styled it with the blow dryer so I looked like an old woman! I couldn't even get a good idea if I truly liked the cut because she made it flip outwards at the ends. I am fuming at this point. I didn't even make it out of my parking spot before calling. I didn't go back inside because I didn't want to make a scene infront of the other guests they had. But when I called I immediately got Heidi and tied to tell her that I was seriously unhappy and all I got was rebuttals. I did NOT call to have an argument! I wanted her to know that I did not feel that I was listened to completely and I didn't even get very far because she was just making me angrier by each of her next statements.At this point, I don't know if I like the cut and I don't think I would go back to her if I didn't, she would probably just argue with me.________________________________________Original post: from May 2017Decent place, stylists just sit around and talk when they don't have clients. A friend gifted me a certificate to Gervais for my Birthday, which was back in June. It was technically for a message, but I honestly could of used a pedicure instead, so I was pleasantly surprised when I called when they said I could use it for anything! I called after mid July ish, and yesterday was their first available for a pedicure (7/31). I explained when I booked my appointment how I wanted gel polish, and I was quoted at 85 dollars. They sent me a reminder text two days before my appointment so I could confirm or cancel, and when I went to confirm, they had me fill out some questions about my health, which I thought some questions were a little too intrusive. In any event, my appointment was at 9:15am, and when I arrived, the receptionist offered me some lemon water, which was nice. Rain came to greet me, and I cannot convey how nice she is! She was so friendly, and we seemed to click, so we had a nice conversation. My toe nails came out perfect, and she listened to what color and sparkles I thought would work. It was super relaxing the room I was in, and I really liked the calming music and the aromatherapy smell!! The chair was a little up high; I didn't have a problem, but if you have mobility issues, it might be a tad challenging (of course Rain offered to help me). The chair wasn't a message chair, what I'm used to at other nail places. The hot neck warmer felt amazing as well 🙂 When I got done, Rain kindly escorted me out to the reception area so I could pay. The receptionist was helping another lady check out, so I was looking at their products, which are spendy, in my humble opinion. I couldn't afford a 46 dollar of leave in conditioner spray, so I got a travel size one (still 14 dollars but I had a gift certificate). When she rang me up, the total of the pedicure and travel size spray wasn't adding up to the price she gave me, so I inquired, hence my 4 star review. They apparently charge 3 dollars and some odd cents for them using eco friendly products. I just feel that that charge should of been conveyed to me when I booked the appointment a few weeks ago. Yes, this charge is stated online, but if people call to make an appointment and they are new, I feel we should be informed of the eco friendly charge. Other than that, I'm impressed at what I saw, as the place is big and very relaxing! Again, thank you Rain for taking care of my toes, and I hope to see you again in the future 🙂

This place is great! I got a massage with Andrew and it was amazing! So relaxing and works on muscle tension release areas. This spa was just what I needed, they really focus on the details. Clean, calm, soothing - quality. After relaxing massage, got a warm foot bath with tea. Love this place, recommend.

She was considerate of too much pressure or too light and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. She was super professional and I was pleased to have her take care of me. I took my best friend here for her birthday and got us both the essential facial and an hour long massage. The experience was phenomenal from start to finish. Both providers were communicative and skilled. One of the best facials I’ve ever had. This was the worst hair experience I’ve ever had in the 20 years I’ve been getting my hair done.Don’t let this place fool you, it may look like a fancy salon but they hire inexperienced, rude stylists who will ruin your hair and then insult you at the end.The least this company could do to try to right their wrong would be a partial refund, like for the $50 toner that didn’t even take the yellow out. This salon is a joke. The manager told me to just pay for now and then the owner would call me, that was a lie. I am 100% sure of an insult when I receive one, you were not there. She totally fried my hair and also ripped out one of my earrings. She tried to use a curling iron on my wet hair. I would not call someone who just started hair school in 2020 experienced, for the $185 they charge, this was the worst hair experience I’ve ever been through. They did not even offer ANYONE ELSE OTHER THAN CIERRA, to fix the horrible bleach job she did on my hair.

Chikara is in the perfect location. You are immediately greeted as soon as you walk in. I never have to wait long or at all. The atmosphere has a great feel to it. I had my hair done and had the best experience. The stylist did an amazing job and the sink is definitely notable. Normally my neck is so uncomfortable at other salons, this one I was so surprised that my neck wasn't kinked or uncomfortable at all. I've had the most relaxing and amazing facial leaving my face glowing. And the reason I started going to the salon and spa was because I followed Cassidy there because she is the best waxer there is.

The spa is beautiful and the staff is friendly. For spending $115 however every time I look at my toe nails, I feel buyers remorse. I went in for the spa pedicure and God knows I enjoyed the scents, warmth, and wonderful relaxation time. So the spa aspect of it was definitely there. The first time my nails weren’t cut but I would have appreciated them being shaped and cleaned. Then the outcome of the gel paint was just disappointing to the point where I had to go back to get them corrected. When the second attempt was complete I could not say I was any happier. I left because I knew the time had been spent by the worker to remove the previous polish that it would just not be worth having her try to make it look nice for a third time so I just left a tip for the work/time she put in. It is very disappointing that the paint still looks the way it does after going in specifically for that correction. It’s translucent on both big toes : poor application. I enjoyed the spa experience the first time but not worth the money I paid.
