I have been in this place years before pandemic. Visited it recently.. The place is still the same though but with a little run down. The food was a little different than before.

The food is very pricey but the view and ambiance is worth it. It gets crowded during peak hours. It’s hard to enjoy your meal because everyone, literally, is trying to take photos of everything. So if you want privacy and be intimate, you might want to visit somewhere else.

This is not the place for you if you are on a budget. All of the foods on the menu are expensive. The view, the ambiance, the serenity and the entire experience are good. This might be the reason for the price.
They have indoor and alfresco dining. If you are a nature lover, try the alfresco dining where you will have a great view of the forest. It is surround by trees. Better to visit this place during weekdays to avoid influx of people.

Best recommended for an overlooking Taal lake dine in experience. It took quite a while though to serve the foods esp. our one rice platter. Their mushroom soup is very delicious. Entrance/Traffic staffs are very much welcoming and well coordinated.

They are serving delicious classic Pinoy food. The resto looks like a house outside, but the inside has so many great displays that will make you think what the real theme of the resto is. Overall, we had a good experience here.

Got there at at around 2PM in the afternoon. Waiters are attentive but they’re quite busy since its weekend. They weren’t able to give our pitcher but nonetheless we were full. The meal was good but we did not like the water. Generally, it was a great experience.

Having a late lunch and early dinner time.. there’s still a long waiting list because the problem was there are seats not suitable to be seated because the sun was to hot to bear while eating. The staffs were accommodating and nice. The food was good.

The best bulalo we’ve tried so far. Affordable and mouth watering. As in “hindi nagsesebo”. The serving is for 4-5 persons we’ve had to take out the excess but still yummy. Their Fried Kangkong and Tempura is delicious too. Staff are all nice and polite. Will definitely come back. Highly recommended restaurant. Visit them

Bulalo is good, the crispy tawilis was really crispy, the eatery setup between what seems to be high class restos is genius. Typical Pinoy’s would be at ease with the setup, this would be the best alternative for the bulalohan at Mahogany market. I highly encourage everyone to give this place a go.
Note: They where kind enough to split the bulalo ang tawilis to two servings as we had to sit in two separate tables due to ecq. What you see in the pictures are half serving.

Cozy place not too many people maybe because their buffet is only available during sundays but overall good pastries from amiras the best buko tarts this side of the south. The caramel slice was not too sweet and just cost us 85 php the offee and hot choco though totalled at 330 but did not taste like burnt rubber so it was a yes for me. The latte art even further made the drinks look elegant.

Ambience is nice. The place looks small from the outside and its facade but it’s big as you go down inside to the area. It has cute Nipa huts that give you privacy. Customer service ia great. Food is okay and affordable with huge portion. They have a nice cafe at the back too and a lot of selfie spots.

VerdiView was a recent discovery in Tagaytay when I was hosting foreign guests over the new year. They wanted to try out authentic Filipino food, and VerdiView didn’t disappoint – my guests loved their bulalo, sisig, kare-kare and laing.
Don’t be fooled by the shabby nipa hut setup on the first level when you walk down from the parking, there’s a much nicer, roomier outdoor area if you walk all the way down the bottom that was perfect in Tagaytay’s cool weather in January.
They also had a trio of old-school Pinoy musicians who serenaded my guests and even sang a few Mandarin and Spanish songs upon request. We had a great time with the food, entertainment and service at VerdiView, and prices were very reasonable for Tagaytay.

Its my nth time here and this place never gets old. This time our family made a big reservation for my cousin’s surprise birthday lunch and it was an opportunity to try more of whats on their menu. Service was excellent. Everything was good as usual, and you even get to pet the resident fat cats while sipping pineapple kale slush & relaxing after the feast.

Loved the garden too.My only complain is that they scrimped on the bathroom. Quite disappointing really because it’s marketed as a wellness village.

Amazing taste of Filipino cuisine. If you want to enjoy classic regional dishes in a modern and relaxing environment you have to try it here. We went for a family trip and stopped for lunch and everyone agreed this was one of the best hidden gems in the Phillipines. If you’re visiting the region I highly recommend. I am Australian and highly advise other fellow tourists to come check this place out, I think you will love it too!

The fabled pork chop didn’t really take off for us, probably due to personal preference.
A bit under prepared for our taste, flavorful outside but lacking inside. Tender and oh so huge! If you are a pork lover (like us) suggest to have it cooked a bit more than the usual time they cook it. 🙂

Prices ranges from 400+, as other establishments around are selling. HOWEVER, this is the most worth it meal that you can spend on. The flavors are spot on for the beef tapa, wagyu pares and longganisa patty, even the simple fries are delicious.
I highly recommend this place. The staff are great and kind as well. I heard they’ll be serving steaks soon. I really look forward to going there when I come to Tagaytay.
