Traditional American food and pricing.This is the only place we can find during dinner time. All the rest are full and this is the only place that can offer seats.The food is on the sweeter side for me, they do speak English and serve with energy and joy. It is a pleasant dining experience for us.The decor is nearly a carbon copy of that in the US. It makes people feel comfy when you step in.We got a waiter that is young and eager to serve. He also recommends what the best options are and we are happy with his service.They do offer singing happy birthday songs for you. And they also ask any of us was born this month. But I do not know what will happen if we said yes.Actually, they have plenty of tables available when we cannot find any at other places. It feels good for us, but it also feels sad that they seem to be quiet compared with others. Or maybe western food is just not popular here?

Food is not bad but not amazing. The service could be improved more… First, it’s very basic that waiters remember everyone’s order and serve food to the right person. Second, shouldn’t pass the plate directly to customer’s “hand” incase any accidents. Last, we arrived before our reservation time, finally we got checked in late for 20 mins.

The staff members were friendly and helpful. The food is decently flavored, and is authentic American style. The new vegetarian nachos are delicious. The problem with this chain of restaurant is that they are too overpriced for the food that the customers receive. The dining environment is quite noisy. They also offer a new beyond meat burger for 520 NTD, it’s around 80 NTD more expensive than their previous beyond meat burger option.

Unlike other grill places that are dependent on sauces, the meat here is well seasoned. In the two times we have been here we have received good service. Their English menu is easily understandable and the staff try their best to explain.They consistently change the grills. They have ample drink selections ranging from sodas to tea. Their desert selection while limited it is complimented by their selection of ice cream from Cold Stone and Haagen Dazs.

Have 3 buffet options $588, $680 &$880.Got myself the highest option and was very worth the price.Incredibly fresh food and super fast service (prepare the food in less than 5min every order)Having a BBQ buffet during cold season is a MUST.One of my greatest meals during my stay in Ximen.

Came in the afternoon and there was ample seating. Service was fast and easy to order via the QR code. There is an option to change language to English so that's super helpful. Got the original pork classic ramen with extra soft boiled egg. Options include ramen flavor (original or extra), noodle (thin or flat), noodle texture (hard, medium, soft).The food came in a few mins and there was a basket to keep my bag while eating. The broth is nice and full, not too rich and fatty. The egg was just perfect. I picked medium texture bur felt it could had been little softer. It was still tasty. There is plenty of green onion topping. Def nice lunch meal around ximen without the hectic rush.

Not a boomer but this is ridiculous. Tried to order. They made me use a QR code even though they have menus and big signs. When the page wouldn't load, staff typed things into my phone without my consent. Then I think the menu was like an online shop. The time I wasted reading it could have been spent pointing at a paper menu, which staff members where holding in their hands talking to themselves. I really didn't want to go through the effort of putting my payment details into a form that might be dodgy. I left without eating. In most other restaurants I would have had the food in front of me at this point. Can we just order from a normal menu without the QR code nonsense.

good place to stop for dinner after getting off work (5-6) as it's not too busy yet :)my Chinese isn't good, but the staff is friendly and helped set up the tablet in English so ordering is simple. the soup broth is quite rich so you feel full very quickly! for 250 you can get a large bowl of soup and a soft drink, can't complain 🙂

As a ramen fanatic, Rakumenya is my favorite ramen restaurant in the world. I’ve been their huge supporter since 2010 when there was only one store in Dongmen. Me and my friends had our lunch and dinner twice or three times a week during our college days.Reasons for 5 stars:1. Thoughtful, customized choices on menu for their customers2. Thick, divine broth that goes well with ramen noodles3. Well balanced ingredients4. Fine quality with unbelievably inexpensive price5. High tech and fast servicesYou could tell that they do make ramens “with utmost effort” from their palatable works!

Great, but not as great as their location in Hawaii. But there’s no wait!Menu in Taiwan is slightly different than the States. Looked for the Nikutama Udon but it wasn’t on the menu, settled for their Beef Udon. The broth wasn’t as good as the Nikutama but it was still good. Tempura was freshly fried.The place felt a little dingier and dirtier than their Honolulu counterpart.Service was friendly and welcoming.

Average beef noodles and soup. Ordered the mixed beef and tendon noodles (NT$200) as well as a hot and sour soup (NT$60).Both items tasted okay. Nothing to shout about. The soup portion was very generous though. Couldn't finish it.

While it is not a bad eatery, I feel like it has lost its identity that made it special compared to other similar eateries. It used to be known for its affordability, self-order via an automated machine, and convenient self-serve soup and salad bar. They’re all gone. While the pricing is still affordable-ish, they’re more on par with other full-services restaurants nearby. You can get a much more delicious donburi/ bento sets for NT$260-300. I used to come here often pre-covid, and i was quite excited about coming back to this place. But it feels different now. Maybe I’m just getting older and bitter. 😂 the bottom line is whatever things that set this place apart from the rest are all gone. Will I ever come back? Probably, I’ll probably forget how disappointed the last time I visited and go back, then I’ll probably get disappointed all over again.

Great rice bowl sets. I ordered Fried Shrimp bowl and it sure taste good.The price is very reasonable and you have many different set menu items to choose from.You'll need to find a set first and remember the set number then order your meal from a kiosk then pay with credit card or cash.Maybe it's not really fancy gourmet food but it's really good for the price.They also have all you can eat miso soup and rice if you want to refill when you ordered their meals. Great bang for the buck.

Buzzing atmosphere due to the national holiday in Taiwan. I was by myself so got a seat quicker. They are very good at organising the queue to eat. I chose my own style of broth and noodles rather than the chefs recommendation but I am sure it would have been fine! I had the standard broth and added egg and seaweed. I picked 1 spicy but upgraded it to 2. I think that was enough as the broth was very rich already. Very good quality broth by the way. You could see the fat droplets in there which is a good sign!! On the pricer side for a bowl of ramen but it's reflected in the quality.

I had their original ramen and it was delicious! The red base was very spicy even though we selected not spicy. We sat at the bar but yet it was nice to see the cooks prepare the food while we were eating. The prices are also very fair for the quality of the food

The beef noodles were so delicious!During my trip to Taiwan, I left the hotel too early and there weren't any shops open... so I stopped by this shop by myself.The noodles were just right, the meat was soft, and the soup was delicious with a strong taste of Chinese medicine.I'll come back later!

This is one of the best places to have your Korean meal fixed. The kimchi soup with pork tastes authentic. The pork is tender and juicy. Customer service is excellent for the price point.

Right outside Exit 1 of Ximen Metro, it’s conveniently accessible. The place is clean, staff is friendly and the price is reasonable. The bench on second floor facing the street is a super spot for dining. Hotdogs, hamburgers and French fries are truly delicious!

I was pleasantly shocked and amazed by the quality of the food and service.I might be a bit biased, but the food is super close to the one I grew up eating in Denmark.I got the flæskestegssandwich (danish pork sandwich) with fries! It was super tasty and might be better than some of the ones I have tried in Denmark actually. The fries was spectacular, as they were crispy and had an amazing flavour.The sauces to the fries were all good as well!!!

A pleasant surprise.Didn't expect much from this roadside outlet. Actually got a bit worried when Michael took out half-cooked patties and bacon strips and heated them on the Teppanyaki grill. But, wait, he toasted the buns. This is encouraging. Too many places don't do this and use wimpy and cold buns. The 3-layered Man burger turned out great - juicy and savory. The bacons are of the right crispiness. Thumb up.Will come back for the bleu cheese (a.k.a. Stinky) burger.

I am from Hong Kong and currently staying in a quarantine hotel in Ximen. Read review about Time Out so I have decided to give it a try.The Danish pork burger is delicious. Not insanely good taste but you will know it’s authentic western style. Whole lot better than the Taiwanese flavour burgers.Minus one star because some fries are fried too deep! It’s a deep fried fries but some of it are literally charcoalized

Blown away by the hot dogs, burgers and fries!!My American boyfriend swears the cheeseburger is just like Five Guys and is easily the best American style burger in Taiwan. The Danish pork burger is also insanely good - slabs of pork belly with red pickled onions ~ bless that the Danish love their pickles!! The huge hot dog (forgot the name but it's the only XXL size) is not playing around either. The sausage has a super satisfying texture when you bite through the casing, and it's truly XXL HUGE! A huge bun, a huge hot dog and absolutely loaded with red and yellow bell peppers, pickles, crispy deep fried onion bits, and a tangy creamy sauce like thousand island dressing! A glorious and filling mess that is so satisfying to eat! Prices are in the 100-200s but the quality is super super good and definitely filling. Spicy hotdog is also amazing, with the perfect spice level and cheese sauce too!!The cheese fries are also so worth the upgrade- super crispy and golden brown, and a cheese dipping sauce you'll want to wipe clean!!Only complaint: the environment definitely needs improvement. There's tons of upstairs seating but the bathrooms were pretty gross and the self busing station is covered in crumbs and a ton of flies buzzing around... and all the second floor napkins were empty 🙁

Dropped by Saizeriya for dinner as a tourist/traveller. Orders 2 pasta and a pizza, taste was a little dry.Personally, would recommend other foreigners to patronise other restaurants available within the region, considering the variety, as there was nothing special in terms of taste, pricing & atmosphere.

The service was fast and the food is good. For pasta lovers, they’ll definitely enjoy this since they serve it more than the usual amount. And pizzas are delicious too! I’d recommend their salads as well Bcx it’s definitely worth it! ( that’s what I love the most there though)The place is wide and a lot of people dine in. October 7, 2022Looking for the best dinner for today and we find out this restaurant in the middle of the street.SaizeriyaThe place is stunning, with high chairs and great lighting.I like the food lots of choices on their menu, and the taste is excellent, the place at that moment is too crowded, but after around 5 minutes of waiting, they assist us to our place to dine in and start to order.The price could be acceptable, depending on the type of food you order. not too expensive in fact.Steak, pizza, pasta, salads, and drinks are all available here.Good and fast to serve our order.Accommodating staff.Good for quick bites.It's nice to bring your family, friends, or loved ones.

They have lost of dish you can enjoy, Squid ink noodle is the best for me, first time to have such great meal here and it's gonna be my most favourite menu. It was so crowded during saturday night. Rain didn't stop people to stand in a line for queue, make sure you always wear your mask on during the queue.They have many kind of pasta, noodle and seafood. Price is affordable, especially for students and traveller.
