Pros: Service was flawless and all the staff was friendly and really thoughtful. The place is bright and clean. Food service was not quick but not slow. Just enough time for us to talk a bit among ourselves before chow time.Cons: Complimentary bread needs a revamp. Not yummy at all. We ate one bite and couldn't eat any more. Steak was cooked perfectly but because of the meat used, it wasn't tender. You can tell it's cheap meat. Frozen margarita tasted normal but the tequila really punches you, not very well-balanced.I would probably come back because of the service and ambience. Best to try other items on the menu. Seeing the other reviews, maybe a pasta next time.

I ordered lasagna and truffle fries. The pasta is good but it's under seasoned. I just put a little bit of salt and it tasted better already. The lasagna noodles were still firm which I like. Its also creamy and cheesy. Fries is good and it's best shared with family & friends. Of course the complimentary bread is freshly baked and a perfect way to start your meal.

Went here to satisfy our cravings for pizza & pasta. Food served fast, hot and simply satisfying. Love the Four Season drinks but hated the Mango juice .. tasted so blah-blah so we returned it to the bar & good thing they gave us a new one which exceedingly passed our expectations.

A healthier choice of restaurant under the Bistro group 🙂 Delicious, great serving size and healthy! Love this branch, especially. Fast dining service and great crew! A staff even recommended how maximize the discount of an ongoing promo! Truly appreciated it 🙂 The space and ambiance is a comfort, amidst the full-packed weekend lunch. Stayed in the restaurant for 3 hours (coz we’re waiting for someone 😅), no qualms from the staff but still served with a smile 🙂 Oh, post pandemic, they still don’t have a service charge. We had a great dining experience at Italianni’s Shangrila. The waiters are very attentive especially Mark, the one assigned to our table. He’s very pro-active and attends to our every requests. The food is great and served on time. Salad is fresh and has generous serving. Pasta was also great. The spinach and artichoke formaggio was the best. I really loved it!

Had a great dining experience at their shangri-la branch 😊 Little did we know it was the last night of the Citibank promo. It was a very busy night but it didn’t take long for my wife and I to get a seat. Thank you to the great staff for being so attentive. Special mention for our server, Jay! So accommodating and friendly. Will definitely come back.

Great food as always.Service this time around is tragic for our group. Waited for about 30 minutes for our order only for us to know that they did not take our order on their system. Then waited another hour for an order that is not complete because apparently, they did not catch the orders properly for the first time.Issue is there is a lack of communication within the crew.We asked servers for our orders the first time and they mentioned that our order takes around 15-20 minutes to serve only for us to know after 30 minutes that our order was not added on their system.Reiterating my first sentence, always a a chef kiss food. Service is terrible.

Have eaten here many times over the past 5 years and it has been consistently declining in both food and service quality. The first 10 times or so, it was out of this world amazing!The Goulash Soup is spicy and delicious when it is served hot but several times it is has been brought out only warm.The Roasted Pork Knuckle is some of the best pork that I have ever had. The last time that we went we were told that that no longer have the Jaeger Sauce which was far superior to their standard brown gravy / sauce. That was a hug disappointment and I am afraid that we won't return.The appetizers are decent but unremarkable and the desserts are just ok.Sad to say but I have to delete Brotzeit from my normal rotation of quality dining choices.Good luck if you go and I hope that you experience is better than mine have become.

One of the few places in Metro Manila that serve German cuisine.On a normal day, service is okay but our most recent visit (Father's Day) was quite bad as they were understaffed for the first 2 hours. Just brushed it off given that the staff were still courteous.As usual, their German sausages were savory delicious but we were very disappointed with how the currywurst and käsespätzle tasted bland. Another disappointment for me was finding out that they discontinued serving sauerkraut (why???) :(Sausages made up for the disappointment as well as discovering how their veal schnitzel and fladen with smoked salmon tasted really good.

They're open until 12am. The place is located outside the mall so you really need to travel going there. We enjoyed the foood but it took about 40 minutes for our food to arrive. Try the beers and sausages they go well together!

Great food, relaxing ambience. Nice list for wine and beer. Sausages are amazing, make sure to order the sausage platter if its your first time. Personally I love the pork curry sausage. Apple strudel can be improved. Staff are really friendly, they give recommendations and answer questions. They also gave a birthday cake for free 🙂

Food is good, beer is good! One of the best authentic German good in Manila (this brand is international though)I like everything except the staff. The staff is nice but they don't pay attention. I ordered 2 times the beer and 2 times for billing out. Nobody cares!I wish they have better attention to the guests!Moreover the hosting of their website is broken, they need to renew it to provide better information!

All food choices are excellent and Cibo is definitely one of our go-to restaurants for happy food, albeit on the pricey side. Amazed by the cooking execution in a tiny kitchen setting. Open area in the middle of the mall shops. Cafe Americano 5-stars even ordered a second round of it. Linguine Seafood Pesto taste and quality is on point. Generous pasta serving 5-stars. Spinach, Gorgonzola and Mozzarella Calzone taste and texture is divine 5-stars. Hosts are attentive and fast-paced. We dined in the afternoon where many tables are attended equally fast and of quality. They can cater to special requests without a fuzz. Sure to try other items on the menu. If you crave Italian quality pastas and calzone/pizza. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

As a Spanish bistro, Wobbly Pan is good with its wide variety menu for Spanish cuisine.I ordered aglio olio and paella valencia both to my delight. Aglio olio with its al dente noodles and garlicky taste, real savory. I have been craving for paella and with this, craving fully satisfied. Nothing to ask for. But wait, I cannot but mention with awe that beverage in a red cup and saucer - the superstar hot chocolate!Not all staff were good but I wanted to single out Sheila who gets out of her way to delight customers. She is likened to what is posted in their wall: "there is always a good reason to celebrate." I for one has been delighted by her aside from the food and the chocolate of course. Visit Wobbly Pan at the Shangri-La mall, you will truly be delighted.

Service is great - responsive, accommodating. You can dine inside or al fresco. Place is clean including the restroom.Food wise - the sopa fabada was a good starter. Not a fan of the complimentary bread - too soft and bland and the butter was served frozen. It would not thaw even with the warm bread.The lengua estofado was flavorful and the meat was melt in your mouth in texture.I would return to try the fabada asturiana, bacalao dish and feuide.

It was my first time to eat at Wobbly Pan last November 5 but the third for my partner.Paul accompanied us to our table and was very accommodating and attentive. He suggested that we try the Aperol and he explained what it was to us. He patiently answered our questions, so we eventually took his offer.The callos tasted great; however, per my partner, the serving was not as much as before. He said that in his first two visits, what he had was definitely a lot for him, and that's why he's certain about getting just one order for the two of us plus two sides, nothing else.On a different note, I wish that they have a space to talk shop. Some members of the staff were talking about numbers which weren't for the customers' consumption. Having good food and hearing their bad news aren't a good mix.*Croquettes, squid, and salpicao pics taken on my second visit.

I got a salad and a steak empanada. And lemon ginger tea. The tea was delicious! Simple and refreshing. I drank it chilled. The empanadas were good also. The meat flavorful and tender. And the salad. I liked it better without the chicken. Overall I enjoyed my meal. Will eat there again.

Good place to go to if you're with a large group but definitely not for foodies. Not comparable to La Picara, Las Flores, Rambla, Pintxos or Barcino that's why I'm making this review.👎Spanish croquettes are usually filled with bechamel but theirs isn't and there's no jamon inside either, you can only find the jamon like a garnishing on the top while the bechamel sauce is like a garnish on the bottom. It should be infused with jamon serrano but it isn't, you can barely taste the ham in it.👎Manchego fundido doesn't taste like curado or viejo at all👎Pasta came with burnt bread... They put the burnt bread underneath another one to hide it. Pasta is fine though. This is the only dish that we were able to finish.👎I couldn't taste any spice or herbs in their Pollo Iberico other than salt. It's too salty.👎Huevos a la Flameca has cheap ham... Not chorizo and it doesn't taste like serrano either... I wonder what it is. Too little ham too!👍 Their latte is surprisingly good. They serve it with orange zest so try to add it to your drink and see if you like it. Just make sure to order it hot, the cold is way too diluted.Verdict: it's EUR42 (PHP2600 including tax and service charge) for two people better spent elsewhere. I thought I could give them another chance since traffic is intense and we couldn't go elsewhere. The first time I dined here in 2018 I had their lengua and their paella negra, which came in very small portions but tasted fine. I said "fine" because it wouldn't pass as Spanish to the palette but it wasn't disgusting either other than being salty.If they want to make this place a remarkable one they should stop being stingy with ingredients and they should be more particular on quality control. I really wasn't happy with the kind of quality I got for the price I paid.Maybe I'd just come back for coffee.

Rly excited to try their branch here. I remember saving up for their unli buffet with my college bffs at their branch near Meralco (which is now closed) bec it's sooo good! Their side dishes still tastes deliciously healthy, Shrimp Fried Rice is also good for 2. I may not have just ordered the right jjigae for me. Didn't expect the texture and taste to be like that (Kimchi Biji) Perhaps it's best to order their bestseller matched of course with grilled meat.

Sunday Lunch out. Good choice at Shang. The beef was better than the pork grill. The fried rice was very 👍👍 along with Fried shrimp 🍤. The Kimbap beef could be better. A bit dry.Actually 4.5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Willing to go back and this is probably the 3rd or more time we have returned 😁

Banchan is of Korean standards. Really like the egg and the fish cake.Tempura is cook to perfection.The spicy octopus is sweet and not that spicy which is a good thing.Seafood soup is savory but too much that you have to have rice to compliment it.Overall the experience is great.Food is worthy of the price.They also serve house tea.In terms of ambience, the inside is a little dark and cozy while their seats outside of the restaurant are bright and have a nice view of the street going to Shangri-La hotel.

Expecting flavorful and savory food, but left disappointed. Not worth the price. We ordered the Salmon Stone Bowl, Tuna Tavo aburrí, Tempura and Scallop Poppers. The Stone Bowl tasted like it a plain mash of fish on rice. The Salmon didn’t even figure in. The tempura was oily and bland. The Tuna Taco aburi was nicely presented (here in photo) but ended up disappointed. Just go to OOMA. Won’t even think of coming back. Service was attentive and great. No wonder the store was alsmost empty on a Sunday evening.

With the type of food on the menu, freshness of the ingredients, how the different food were prepared, expect the prices to be above the regular price one would be paying on other Japanese restos. On the average, the average price would be from ₱550-600 per person. For a hearty eater, maybe it could range from ₱600-800/person.But the dining experience on the food is worth the price. But not for an average salaried employee to do frequent dining out. Maybe on special occasions.

We tried the watami in shangrila plaza mall.Got the following:Salmon aburiSalmon sashimiTempura tei shokuNori chipsOverall taste is okay. Expensive price ofcourse for bistro group restaurants. Again, unlike other bistro resto like italiannis, texas roadhouse where they offer complimentary bread, Watami doesnt offer anything like that. They just provide a very small pickled side dish just to clean your palate.

Good tasting and quality food for the price. Pretty big servings. The sushi and tempura is very good. The fried seasoned nori chips is surprisingly good as well. I even ate it with my rice.Remember if you have a Bistro Foodie discount card.. it doesnt apply with promotional items on the menu. You can only get either tea or one coffee for free not both hehe.On a side story: haha most of the people eating here were either families of chinese or korean that night. Kind of gave me the impression that the food was good lol

What is Japanese Casual Food? Their menu has the "classics" you'd expect of Japanese food. Sashimi (few options), Tempura (Ebi and veggies), some rice bowls that feature Gyudon, Katsudon, and other variants, plus some ramen variants and a few choices of yakitori. They also have some appetizers which feel more "western" than Japanese.The Mozzarella Balls were a surpirse. The size alone assured of a generous helping of mozzarella coated in a relatively golden brown batter. Eat while hot as the stringy mozzarella becomes lumpy once they cool down.The sashimi was extremely uneventful. Honestly, the sashimi from vendo machines in the Nagoya airport have better quality sashimi. The fish part was obviously not a quality cut - with lots of grains that remind you of tuna flakes. If fell apart easily, which is not normally a good sign, had a rubbery texture and general lack of flavor. The wasabi provided was awful. Grainy and hardly any flavor. I'd give this dish a 1-star if individual dish ratings could be provided.The yakitori we tried were pedestrian. Not bad, but nothing that will blow your socks off. To a degree, the bacon wrapped enoki was underseasoned and could use a tad more salt.The ramen broth was the highlight of the night. Rich, flavorful, and extremely aromatic, I can say that this dish alone gave them an extra star in my overall rating.The beef pepper clay pot was ok. Just ok. For the price, you're better off ordering the same from Pepper Lunch. But then again, the clay pot experience was unique.Overall, I've eaten at other Japanese restaurants that are more to my liking. However, that's a personal preference. I suggest you try it yourself, and decide afterwards.

Don’t be deceived by the very nice ambiance and look of this resto.My family just ate here in your new branch in Estancia.Sorry to say, but we were very disappointed w your dishes. The crispy roasted pork was reheated and thus gooey. Really terrible.Rest of the dishes we ordered were mediocre at best.So disappointed that I even cancelled my plan of getting and subscribing to your BFF card.Unsatisfied customer here 🤨

Delicious Chinese food in the mall.Great Shanghai and Cantonese dim sum. Service is fast and friendly. Everyone is wearing masks and kitchen staff have hairnets. Highly recommend.

We had to wait a bit before getting seated. No one was manning the reception area at first so the queue started to get long, but it eventually got sorted out.Food was amazing and fairly priced. We got:modern shanghai soup (cup) - ₱1284 pcs xiaolongbao - ₱198egg yolk buns - ₱218sweet & sour fish fillet - ₱388yangchow rice - ₱498buchi - ₱208riped mango shake - ₱158Staffs were also nice and courteous 👍🏻

Staff were all over the place. No one was manning the reception area when I went there. Not clear if it is a free seating or do I have to wait to be seated. I’ve asked a crew cleaning the table who had to ask another crew if there were available table. Finally, somebody decided that a table was available. Ordered deep fried squid and shanghai mien. Food was freshly cooked when it was served. Shanghai mien was delicious. ‘wish I could say the same for the deep fried squid since some portion is too salty and some portion has a funny aftertaste. During the whole stay, reception area was manned by 3 or 1 staff or none at all. Not sure if they were understaffed at that time or post delegation was not clear for them.

Awesome service, excellent food! This is probably the best shanghai fried noodle in Manila. Love the wok hay in the rice and noods. They were very accomodating as half the table is kosher they were able to separate our the pork and shellfish on the side with each dish. Will come back for sure!

First time trying this restaurant and we made the right choice!It's a typical Chinese restaurant so all the usual dishes are available.In terms of food, the egg fried rice was flavorful. The Shanghai Mien tasted like the Korean black bean noodles (jajangmyeon) but more bland. Salt n pepper Squid was served with some chips that leveled up the dish; it was surprisingly tender as well. Xiao long bao is the usual although it didn't really suit our taste. We really prefer having meat sauteed well. The Shanghai Soup was good.One thing we really loved, though, was the Shanghai Lily drink. It's a must try! I'd go back just to get that drink.Overall, it will really go down to the service. We arrived before lunch and were accommodated immediately. Everyone was also very professional and I appreciated them attending to our requests.

Probably my favorite restaurant in Shangri La Mall. My all-time fave includes Fennel & sausage pizza, truffle pasta, 50 clove HDP roast chicken, & the roast beef. But its their Angus meatballs that’s a knockout. Order a side of sourdough bread and make a meatball sandwich. Out of this world. And outstanding service from the staff.

Tried the Duck Ragu Pappardelle and it was great.Tasted the D&B Crispy Half Duck Confit and my comment is its Not Crispy at all. MAX Fried Chicken was crispier than this.

French casual dining in a non-snobby atmosphere. Get the famous duck and try all the sides to best complement the dish. Rice is recommended to soak up the jus. Choose any of the fresh greens too to make it lessen your guilt.

A French restaurant that survived the two years of pandemic lockdowns. I still remember its old name; Cafe Provencal.It is almost a given in any French restaurant I visited that the prices would be higher than comparable restaurants serving other cuisines. This was no exception. Maybe it's ambience or cachet that you pay for; but I prefer that the food should be the raison d'etre for a restaurant. They do have interesting items on the menu that got my notice; but the few times I've been there, I have not seen much in value for the price.They have Cassoulet printed on the menu; but was unavailable or discontinued. I must confess that I have been looking for a French restaurant near my location that has Cassoulet, and Ratatouille. I have not found one so far. Thus I still have this lingering curiosity as to why those two dishes are famous.Their Slow Braised Beef Burgundy did not satisfy me. Yes, the meat separated from the bone without much effort. But the flavor was too plain for me. I would have liked more aromatics to liven the taste.Praises to the soup, and the salad. The Bistro French Onion Soup was satisfying. The Grilled Romaine Salad was outstanding; and had deep umami flavors from the grilling, the parmesan cheese, and the anchovy garlic dressing.Credits also to the staff. They were very accomodating, and eager to please.

Expecting flavorful and savory food, but left disappointed. Not worth the price. We ordered the Salmon Stone Bowl, Tuna Tavo aburrí, Tempura and Scallop Poppers. The Stone Bowl tasted like it a plain mash of fish on rice. The Salmon didn’t even figure in. The tempura was oily and bland. The Tuna Taco aburi was nicely presented (here in photo) but ended up disappointed. Just go to OOMA. Won’t even think of coming back. Service was attentive and great. No wonder the store was alsmost empty on a Sunday evening.

With the type of food on the menu, freshness of the ingredients, how the different food were prepared, expect the prices to be above the regular price one would be paying on other Japanese restos. On the average, the average price would be from ₱550-600 per person. For a hearty eater, maybe it could range from ₱600-800/person.But the dining experience on the food is worth the price. But not for an average salaried employee to do frequent dining out. Maybe on special occasions.

We tried the watami in shangrila plaza mall.Got the following:Salmon aburiSalmon sashimiTempura tei shokuNori chipsOverall taste is okay. Expensive price ofcourse for bistro group restaurants. Again, unlike other bistro resto like italiannis, texas roadhouse where they offer complimentary bread, Watami doesnt offer anything like that. They just provide a very small pickled side dish just to clean your palate.

1stOrdered Salmon Aburi Sushi, Chashu Ramen and Peach Lemonade. Good for sharing and nice place to catch up with friends 😊 Fast service and very attentive staff. Worth the price. Will come back and recommend to friends. 💯2nd2nd time around and the food and service is still great ✨ love their crunchy seaweed and how they mix the Tuna Stone Pot in front of the diners.

Good tasting and quality food for the price. Pretty big servings. The sushi and tempura is very good. The fried seasoned nori chips is surprisingly good as well. I even ate it with my rice.Remember if you have a Bistro Foodie discount card.. it doesnt apply with promotional items on the menu. You can only get either tea or one coffee for free not both hehe.On a side story: haha most of the people eating here were either families of chinese or korean that night. Kind of gave me the impression that the food was good lol

What is Japanese Casual Food? Their menu has the "classics" you'd expect of Japanese food. Sashimi (few options), Tempura (Ebi and veggies), some rice bowls that feature Gyudon, Katsudon, and other variants, plus some ramen variants and a few choices of yakitori. They also have some appetizers which feel more "western" than Japanese.The Mozzarella Balls were a surpirse. The size alone assured of a generous helping of mozzarella coated in a relatively golden brown batter. Eat while hot as the stringy mozzarella becomes lumpy once they cool down.The sashimi was extremely uneventful. Honestly, the sashimi from vendo machines in the Nagoya airport have better quality sashimi. The fish part was obviously not a quality cut - with lots of grains that remind you of tuna flakes. If fell apart easily, which is not normally a good sign, had a rubbery texture and general lack of flavor. The wasabi provided was awful. Grainy and hardly any flavor. We had chicken pasta and the zest of the chicken and the serving was great downside it had only one toast. The bulalo and rice was a strike could even out par the ones in batangas the marrows were intact with big servings, definitely a choice to pick!!

We actually liked the taste of our food, but the presentation wasn't good. Serving is decent and their pork chop could be shared. We paid P3,055 for 5 mains (2 pasta, fish & chips, pork chop, and beef something) and 3 iced teas.They use small plates, and very ordinary looking ones, so it almost feels like eating in a cafeteria.Great service, though.

First time eating here. Good service. Good food. I didn't like the sausage much. Just not to my taste. The cappuccino was great. I ordered an apple pie to go, it's served ala mode but I opted to skip the ice cream, no where to keep it in my hotel room. I'll visit again and try something different.Update 7/29Went again today. Cappuccino was amazing again. I had the salmon panini and that was great. The apple pie from yesterday was some of the best I've ever had. I'll see them again before I leave Manila

The Grilled Porkchops is a must-try. The Roast Beef Belly was sooo tender! Although the Baby Back Ribs and Salmon Steak are not on the menu, you can order it directly to the staff. The staff were courteous and attentive. Very good service and good ambience. I will surely come back.
