I really enjoy eating here at Nikkei, Podium. I super lover their Seared Tuna with Sea Urchin Risotto! It’s really good.+++ for service, too!Highly recommended.

Sandy Cai12:07 06/12/23
Tried a new menu today the Beef Short Rib Risotto recommended by server Mae and the Japanese Oyster Bowl with Miso Soup.. both are really good. Nikkei has always been one of my fave restaurants. I still prefer the Tuna Risotto but still really good quality food. The meat was tender and flavorful.

Jason King07:08 06/01/23
Was excited to dine here. Had two meetings here one after the other and got to sample a lot of their food. Salmon sashimi, hamachi were very good. Tender and fresh. The unagi had an earthy like aftertaste. Yet the unagi rolls were good. The 2k steak was overpriced both in quality and quantity. Kurobota was ok. Didn't really taste a whole lot better than good quality pork in my opinion. The Mango sponge type cake was good but had a slightly wet texture to it. The roasted edamame was very unique and addictive. The tuna with risotto was excellent. My favorite dish of the night. My companions frequent the place as a watering hole. Dont really see it that way. Maybe it's just me but I couldn't find anything in the menu to eat while drinking. The shots were fairly priced. At least there was a lot of choices at different price points. Beer selection was adequate. Service was good for the most part. The trainee was very enthusiastic. The regular staff were mulling around the counter with their backs to the customers a whole lot. It was hard to get their attention at times.

Pros:Food is very good. The menu is not the complicated to understand. I tried the mackerel and the pork ribs, had a juicy and citrus flavor. The food server was extremely helpful and nice, melissa. She was quick to respond to our requests. But all others servers were good too.:)The service time was quick too.Needs Improvement:Table was a little small, had to juggle our plates like a puzzle.Overall, I recommend this Japanese restaurant. Especially if you're looking for some excitement with your taste buds.

Spent Friday night here and early dinner was worth it! The food, place and service are great. We were accommodated well. Even got free tequila during our visit. Special thanks to Sir Arvin and the girl who took our picture that day.

Rohelyo05:28 01/08/23
The best dish I had was the risotto. Great service and ambiance! The price was worth it for the taste except for the Miso Kurobota and Salmon Burger. The pork was overcooked and tough and the salmon burger tastes fishy, could’ve used some acidity to neutralize the fishy smell/taste.

Carlo Buan05:12 12/29/22
Awesome food as usual! My go to Japanese resto in the Metro!Order their salmon burger, sushi bento, and chirashi sushi. You'll never go wrong with those three on the menu.Their kamote chips are great too!Servers and staff are attentive too!

Anne Fernando10:27 07/19/22
Bit pricey but some of the dishes we ordered were worth it:✅️ Seared tuna with huancaina risotto: good alternative if not a fan of uni; cheese flavor and spiciness were not overpowering✅️ Panko roll: interesting maki for me as the outer layer was deep-fried; loved the combo of salmon and truffled cream cheese (didn't taste any hint of truffle though)Forgot what the other maki was but totally skippable for me.

Alvaro “Liro”00:25 05/20/22
Love the ambience but the atmosphere feels like it should have an al fresco area with all the drinks they have on offer. But then again, that’s just me. Nikkei offers the perfect setting if you want to have a suave social gathering with good food and an equally good bar.

The pastries are the winner here. Very good in taste and texture. The dishes are kinda a hit or miss. The adobo rice is fine but does not stand out. The steak fried rice is munchy, flavorful and a bit sour. The chicken salad tastes great too. I am just don't think the dishes other than the salad are worth eating everyday.

Aleli Rosario01:30 07/08/23
We came for desserts and after dinner drinks. The place was still busy despite nearing closing time. I like their sans rival better than many other sans rival. Theirs is nutty, meringue-y, and just enough butter-melting goodness. We also ordered their Opera Cake which was oozing with slightly bittersweet chocolate. The cake has different textures and has just the right amount of sweetness. Yum!I also ordered ginger-turmeric tea. Haha! I love it. It is strong and throat-grating enough. I was reminded of the strong tea I made for my family when 2 were down with mild Covid. I gave them a stronger concoction similar to this tea which l liked to think helped them heal faster.

Genesis Macale04:04 06/19/23
A bit crowded, noisy, busy, and dim. But we were totally pleased with the food. The 50% BPI discount may have also played a role as to why we were satisfied with our dining experience.

cute nacat11:49 05/24/23
May 2023: We celebrated my daughter's graduation day here with my family. She requested this restaurant cuz it's her fave. Ordered a lot of food that our bill reached P11,500. It's a bit overpriced esp their 400 gms Wagyu steak that costs P6,995. When I paid for the bill, the server didn't ask for my Wildflour Card....haaay sayang ang points. They are not keen on small details compared to their Rada and Greenbelt branches. Btw, they wrote CONGRATULATION instead of CONGRATULATIONS! Small details can make a big difference... 😱

Bernie08:27 03/22/23
Nice cozy place for those on romantic dates but the menu price are too expensive. We got the Mac N'Cheese, Cacio E Pepe, Fish Chips and Salted Chocolate Cake and our bill was a whooping fortune. Food quality is way below their price. To top it all, service was horrible. Food was served after an hour, waiting for my bill took them another hour. Not coming back.

Eypee Kaamiño08:36 03/02/23
My girlfriend and I just ordered 2 salads and 2 drinks. The salads were incredibly delicious with high quality ingredients and well balanced taste profiles and healthy. The coffee and hot chocolate were out of this world! Incredibly well done! But we also paid around 3000 pesos for 2 salads and 2 drinks which I think is just incredibly expensive. So whoever has the money and wants to focus on quality food/drinks, come to this place.

Martti D10:22 02/28/23
We celebrated our VDay dinner here with my family. The food is ‘ok’, desserts are too sweet for me, bread spread is not free, no complimentary bread as well (comparing to similar restaurants) and there were many lapses in their service that night (probably overwhelmed). I have a reservation but we were given a small table outside (not enough space in our table). Overall, we still enjoyed our dinner, what matters more to me is the timeliness, cleanliness and the politeness of the service crew.

Arthur Munoz12:15 08/30/22
Over rated, Over price and they serve small portion. Why people come here I don't understand the hype. Taste wise nothing to rave about. The price you can get something better for the price. Ambience and service is good that's the only thing worth mentioning. We ordered braised beef brisket and the California burger. Really for 630 pesos I was thinking it's California size as the menu suggest not Filipino size. The beef brisket same story for 950? Not to mention taxes and service charge? Don't come here hungry as you walk out hungry. The only thing that would be heavy is the bill in your wallet. This place is really for people watching. I would come here to get some coffee that's the only reasonable priced that I can see but not for lunch or dinner or even snack. Would I come back? What do you think?

Irish Salvador15:27 07/23/22
The food while great is nothing special. I think their Makati branch has better food also. The cremadettes are always sold out in this branch 😅Price point for food is P500-P2000. Some servings are big enough for two, some are good for one so ask the staff if you’re not sure. The drinks are just okay. Price point is P180-P590.

Real Customer Reviews at Niu by Vikings, The Podium:

Nina Gesmundo14:27 08/06/23
As for the food for dinner, nothing particularly stood out for me but Niu Podium has better spread than of its alternate branch at the Aura Premier. Didn't enjoy their dimsum and dessert selections that much however the Chuck Eye steak, wine, baked oyster and maki variations made my day. 🥩🍷🦪🍣There's also a lounge pianist and a singer offering you some soothing jazz music in the dining hall. Plus I got to receive two complimentary cakes for my birthday as a treat.

Karen Mei Oloteo14:13 07/27/23
Its our 2nd time to eat at Niu with my family and same experience with the staff , they are accomodating and the food is superb. Nice ambiance. We also wanted to commend Sir Jobz Beltran for the fantastic service to us. Again, it was a memorable experience to celebrate special day at NIU 🙂

Desiree Abrenica13:02 07/24/23
Great chuck eye steak! Good place to catch up with your friends and have a beer.I would like to specially mention Sir Kenneth who accommodated us.We had a superb experience because of him. He was the one who served us wine and made sure we're having a great time

Jay Mendoza03:38 06/15/23
Stark difference compared to other known buffet restaurants ✨🍣 One of the best selection of sushi I've seen! Superb taste as well and they never run out as chefs just keep on making more.🍧 Great dessert options as well! I'm not a fan of sweets but their Avocado ice cream just hits the spot.🍷Their Sangria and wine matches the exquisite food perfectly.🧀 The cheese select is also superb and they also serve caviar which is paired perfectly with dark chocolate and champagne cube.I can not go back to Vikings after trying Niu. The price may be a little different but the overall experience definitely sets Niu apart.Great foods, better decor and atmosphere, attentive and cordial staff and great live music. Definitely the olace to be for casual dining and celebrations with family and friends! ✨

Engelbert Tabones12:41 05/27/23
This is probably one of the best buffets in Metro Manila 👍. From getting a reservation to welcoming and serving, every dish is well presented, delicious, and clean, and the ambiance is classy and glossy.I like the most their pasta, it will be newly cooked for you and it’s done perfectly.

Julius Ryan Umali13:40 05/07/23
I mean, it’s a buffet so don’t expect a lot. But if you’re the kind who always goes for bang-for-the-buck, treat yourself here when it’s your birthday. Apart from that, it’s hard to think of a memorable dish because your palate will be drowned in flavors that nothing stands out.I have to say though that the coffee is the worst.

Travel Lavigne16:37 11/10/22
Nothing special, overpriced. The food is very underwhelming especially the sushi and dimsum selection. I have seen good reviews about their steak but having tasted it, I don't think it's the same steak the reviews are praising. And based on photos from other reviews, I think they have downgraded their menu offerings. We are also greatly disappointed about the cleanliness of the place. Our seats have noticeable food stains. The plates do not look clean at all and I have to dig through the stack to find a decent plate. To be fair, black marks on white plates cannot be easily removed but still it's not a good look for a buffet restaurant. There are also some chipped plates. The only saving grace of the restaurant is their staff. Thankfully, the staff are friendly and attentive. I would have given a two-star rating if not for them.To summarize, Niu by Vikings did not meet our expectations.

Mae Mendoza09:32 09/21/22
We loved the lamb chops, baked oyster, nigiri and sushis. Which was great cause it gave us our money’s worth. Other food available are just okay. Reservation was smooth. Seating was nice even with a baby. One thing that we didn’t appreciate, it took us forever to get our birthday plate, bill and pay.

Brandon Barnedt23:27 09/17/22
Over all a great buffet experience. The food was good and the ambiance is very nice and clean! The beef was probably my favorite and don’t forget the Une Ice Cream! I only marked them down a star because I had to wait five minutes for a crepe at the crepe station while staff argued over who was the most busy. No one wanted to stop and make the crepe. It was pretty unprofessional to do in front of a guest.

Mechanix TV04:46 08/23/22
The food was good and the ambiance was exhilarating. Also the staff reminds you to wear your face mask when standing up to go to the buffet area. The lechon belly was a bit dry but I loved the steak. The salmon sashimi felt like butter and was just delicious. The soup was a bit out of taste. The air-conditioning here at the podium was functional. All in all i would still come back here.

Jan Andrei Cobey08:35 08/04/22
Great food, great atmosphere and really excellent service. Our dinner here was one of the better buffet experiences I've had since the pandemic started. I wish there were more dishes though (like crabs!) and I hope they expand their dessert selection. The crowd was cool, too, very chill and unchaotic unlike other Vikings branches. Overall, we had a great time.

Their crews are friendly going and hospitable at all times, like how fast they serve your needs and concerns - eventhough the resto is pack with lots of customer. And about their menus, It's superb and best of its quality.

Elle Bilocura13:27 08/05/23
Went to this branch for team dinner. We availed the unli but we didn't enjoy the dinner due to poor service. We ordered beef but ended up receiving pork. We also followed up for multiple times just to be served.Their meat is not tasty. Their side dishes are okay but will take time for refill.

czarisse ubas16:33 07/20/23
Great food , place and service. Staffs were attentive and accommodating. Special appreciation to the manager as he’s very hands-on and professional in dealing with all the customers. ❣️ We’ll definitely come back.

Reyn Basuel11:36 07/07/23
Very satisfying. Good selection of beef, chicken and pork, and side dishes and dips. They also have rice for you rice lovers. Exhaust for the smoke coming from the grill is good enough. Exhaust and air conditioning is very important in Korean grill restaurants (otherwise I'm not even entering). Service can become really slow at times when they are crowded. You need to follow up on your refills at times. Price is reasonable for the food (unli P699) but not for the drinks. I had San Mig Light for P120. Overall, we love it!

Abigail Soriente11:13 06/30/23
The service is bad we had to follow up our order multiple times even before dinner time and only 3 tables were occupied. Not impressed with their side this. The meats are good. The exhaust fan in out table is not work so have to bear with the smoke.

Paul Bryan Garcia08:34 06/30/23
Slow service, mediocre food.Food is just average and basic for its price and location. Don't be too enticed by the menu selection; the meat varieties all taste the same. The fried chicken is basically flour-coated flour with almost chicken. 💀Furthermore, the service is so slow that we had already paid our bill, yet our meat orders had not arrived.Tbf, I like the ambiance there.

Cham ZJ04:18 05/29/23
We availed the unli promo for 699. We got seated fast naman, however, their service is really slow. You have to make a lot of follow-ups to get what you requested, considering na hindi naman sobrang dami ng tao on that moment.A lot of the food items were BLAND... food was under seasoned. K-chicken was not good. We ordered yangnyeom and yung sauce wasn't even properly coated sa chicken. Looks like they just poured the sauce on top. Without it, it's just a normal fried chicken that is cold.Sobrang tagal din ibigay ng receipt. Kung hindi pa kami magfofollow-up, they wouldn't give it.I've seen busier samgyup places that served their customers well. I expected more from them since hello, they're in Podium!

Arnel Rada14:29 12/03/22
COMMENT:▶️ First time here and bit disappointed because maybe the crews are so masungit. They aren’t friendly.LIKES:✅ Inside the mall✅ Fewer peopleDISLIKE:‼️ Egg is not unli lol! Drinks not included

Jefferson Abanilla05:48 10/16/22
I'm a huge fan of korean samgyupsal and for the first time, I had a horrible experience for unli samgyupsal ever.- Waited for like an hour just to be served with dishes that were mandatory to eat before ordering another that we want.- Side dishes are plain and boring, only 2 meat servings per refill in which by the way too small for two.- K-Chicken and tonkatsu tastes bland and the sauce are subpar. - Terrible service as I had to remind them 6 times for the steamed egg in which btw soooo disappointing to eat and even asking for water 3 times before they gave us the drinking cup. They even charged 6% for that kind of service.Never again.

jokh197605:09 10/07/22
For 699 They give you a plate of meats that you don’t order. You just consume. I personally don’t like pork.Cuts are thick. Not like other Sam yup places.Side dishes were not delicious.Water not being refilled. Considering there was no one there except my party.Marinade was the worst. No taste. Will never come back. The silver lining was the garlic scallops. That was worth the money. Delicious. This place ranks pretty low compared to other spots.

Marc Cua13:45 10/03/22
Staff was very friendly and service was very fast. Meat quality wasn't bad, however, the seafood is sub standard. The scallop tasted like rubber nerf bullets. You will feel na "dinadaya" ka ng restaurant with their rules and how they serve you. They will force you to eat the first dishes that they serve you, which is jampacked with chicken, before you can order what you want. There is a limit on how much you can order. When you order beef, they will serve 4 pcs of paper-thin beef. They don't serve water and force you to buy bottled water. They also have cleanliness issues as there are multiple cockroaches inside the restaurant. One of which went to our table and into one of the side dishes. Staff was very apologetic and handled it professionally. The staff was also responsive and fast in taking and serving orders. Sadly, would never go back to this place anymore.

Nathaniel Magno13:13 07/17/22
Too many scam policies;1. Seafood platter is very very low quality.2. Salmon belly is like those you find sold on sale at s&r. (Photo attached)3. Shrimp Tempura is small like suahe and the batter is very low quality.4. Scallops most probably bought frozen... Again on sale at s&r.* Don't ever waste your money for the extra P200!5. Pay extra for water. Lol6. Poor service - slow, not proactive with replacing the burnt grill, table napkins had to be asked.Too bad for the negatives mentioned above since the meat are of relatively fair quality.

We frequent Paradise Dynasty because they hands-down have the best Xiao Long Bao !!! I prefer the original XLB instead of the other flavors.Want to try something new? Get the tofu with century egg… could eat 2 orders on my own!

A P Y08:44 06/13/23
We love it here whenever we are in Podium. That and my kids are just a fan of Chinese cuisine.Must orders of course is the Xiao Long Bao. I think this resto was the pioneer resto to bring Xiao Long Bao as a mainstream food item here in Manila. I mean, if I am not mistaken, this is the same group as Crystal Jade. They just rebranded I think. And their Tantanmen ia the best. Peanut sauce and their noodles. Yummy.

Symon Chan19:19 02/22/23
Been here a couple times and while i love the food, the service is always, always, subpar. By order of priority they will seat large groups over pairs who come in first, then seat better dressed pairs first, it's not first come first served as it should be.We made a reservation for a big group one time and we were forced to wait despite being there on time. We got seated separately until a table opened up beside either of our tables because they couldn't be bothered to properly hold a reservation. And it's next to impossible to call a waiters attention, when you finally do, be prepared to follow up 2 or 3x. They will literally look at you in the eye and proceed to ignore you. And it's not just the waitstaff, even those dressed like upper management will see you calling them and then suddenly go hide in the kitchen. The noodles in soup are probably my favorite things here, and that hot and sour soup is top 3 easy in the ph.Next up is that seafood in eggwhite dish i really enjoy, and both beef dishes. The chilled tofu was also the bomb. They're known for their fancy schmancy xlb, but to be honest they don't really taste that different from each other. The chicken in pepper was good, but there was too little chicken and too many dry peppers that you can't even eat (i tried, it had the texture of plastic). Both the egg and shrimp fried rice were also quite enjoyable however they always, for some reason, take forever to get served.Mostly reat food, but just horrible service from top to bottom.

Aleli Rosario10:31 01/28/23
Celebrating the Chinese New Year a day late, we went to this restaurant for some good food.We ordered their 8-flavor Xiao long bao. I put one full piece inside my mouth and let it burst. The explosion of flavors as it mixed with the ginger sauce was soooo good!We ordered several items for our party of 10 and we devoured it. We loved everything. Service was also quick. They just did not clean our table fast enough as dishes kept coming. After all that food, remember that dessert is to share. My only critique would be the noise decibel that rises with each table taken. Nonetheless, this was a pleasant dining experience overall.

Leslie Legaspi23:38 01/07/23
Went here on a Friday night and was surprised that it can get rly crowded that people fall in line outside. Really nice interior design. We were immediately served hot tea upon being seated. Tho asking for water took us 3 waiters 😅 we ordered mostly mga bestseller, and new lahat sa tastebuds since I rarely eat chinese food. Shanghai Fried Rice tasted good. Altho idk why but I can't differentiate the taste between the xiao long baos (except the garlic flavor) so i didn't really appreciate it. Our orders arrived one by one. What i like the most is their chili oil and sauce. I enjoyed dipping the dry noodles and everything else as I take a bite.

Carlo Buan08:47 10/23/22
I think we will be back! Haha... this place is a level up Din Tai Fung.We loved their pork buns and spicy wonton noodles, and will surely order these again on our next visit, (together with the Xiao Long Baos). The ambiance is good 👍🏼 but they need to renovate their restroom to complement the dining area.Overall experience was great! Their menu is extensive but not overwhelming, and priced just right. If you are craving for Chinese food, visit this restaurant... you won't be disappointed.

Joe Dominguez20:14 10/15/22
We dined here for a quick dinner. We were immediately seated, and I noticed that our table meant for four was already set for two even before we sat down. The menu and order pad were already on the table, and the hot tea was served even before we settled our order. All our food order came in an instant and the eight-flavor xiao long bao was as enjoyable as the first few times I’ve tried it from other branches. Such efficient service that the same teapot was still warm after we billed out. Also, it’s so rare now to see servers look like they enjoy serving you behind their face masks—even simply handing us napkins, and despite the growing line of customers outside.

AOL11:37 10/15/22
The food and servings are good especially the xiao long baos but the service is so-so. It's lunch time and expected to be busy, however, the servers seemed to be not trained and attentive enough to customers. Recommended for group dining though.

Epza Curameng02:23 09/15/22
Enjoyable alternative to Din Tai Fung. Xiao long bao with different flavors worth trying once, but I'd stick to the original xlb otherwise.

Not really the kind of cuisine I'd enjoy eating regularly, but the food has been enjoyable, the prices were near reasonable, and the service is worth this rating.

Great food - ordered the cabbage rice, sweet & sour pork, and salt & egg spinach dish. The cabbage rice was so flavorful, you could eat it on its own. Service was great too. Great value for money!

We had no expectations coming to Putien, but was pleasantly surprised that everything we ordered was good. Wasn't exactly a fan of the fried oysters, but the rest was great. Staff was very attentive and helpful. There were quite a few items on the menu that weren't available though. Might come back to try the rest of the manu.

Sansan Chichi14:54 02/17/23
The dishes they serve are not the typical ones served at most Chinese restaurants in Manila so that was quite nice. We enjoyed some of their recommended dishes. I think the fried yam was our favorite. My husband loves gabi and we were pleasantly surprised with their sweet yams that reminded me of kamote q. My toddler also ate a lot of the yam and the bian rou soup, which I really liked too. It was a perfect balance of savory and sour. The sweet and sour pork was average and the bee hoon was very dry. The fried oysters was pretty good, different from the ones we order in other restaurants. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant and I would definitely go back.

Love the food and the service! Get the specialties and you won’t be disappointed. A must try for people who want to try something different. The servers are also proactive and friendly (they’d totally tell you if you’re missing out on some flavors).

Aleli Rosario03:59 12/03/22
One of the restaurants in Podium that I always consider dining in.My favorites here are the oyster cake and the sweet and sour pork. The cabbage soup we ordered was surprisingly good. I did not expect it to be so.A thing that amazes me about PuTien is their condiment or dipping sauce that seem to go well with any dish. It just adds a flavor that enhances any dish. On the spicy side, this condiment is sold on bottles and can be brought home.Service is ok and care is still taken to ensure plates and utensils are sanitized before use. Price is also value for money, especially if you order perfect combinations. Like get your favorites in to share sizes and the dishes you'd like to taste experimentally in single orders.

Chris V22:36 08/28/22
Best chinese I've tasted. I highly recommend the ginseng shrimp and seaweed rice. The ribs were very tender, and the white chicken was amazing too. The place was simple but elegant. Service was perfect too.

Zoren Musngi03:21 06/09/22
I've been here twice already and had only happy experiences with the good food + nice ambiance (bright lights, not noisy, good ventilation).Kept coming back for the fried croaker fish, which was made to perfection with it's crispy skin + soft meat that's still juicy despite being fried. No need for condiments since it's already flavorful.Fried rice is also good, no need to pair it with viands since it's already flavorful and jam-packed. Would definitely come back here.

Jalli R02:46 08/02/23
Our colleague, who is an Indian, treated us to this place. Because she was knowledgeable about what to order, we had an authentic Indian culinary experience. We ordered tandoori platter (must order!), dhal, mutton masala, and paneer butter masala. We matched those with Naan butter, roti, and Biryani rice. These were all authentic dishes and served with mild spiciness. We took a cultural dive, added Mango Lassi and enjoyed the meal thoroughly. That said, the service is slow and the waitress/cashier inefficient and unsmiling. The attitude of the staff takes away from the pleasant food experience. The decor and furniture was old India. Their menu was extensive and running several pages - makes one think about how they manage their kitchen. If not for the amazing food ordered by our colleague, the rating would be lower. Overall, the dining experience is 3.5 for me but rounded off to 4.

Poonam Chaudhry08:59 06/11/23
Food was really good but the service was pathetic. Attitude of the waitresses was indifferent which is quite uncommon in Philippines. Cook was slow. We were first ones to reach and last ones to be served. 😂 But the wait was worth it. It made us ignore the unpleasant experience of getting served cold food, food served without the complementary dish etc.

Sherwin Ruiz09:54 05/15/23
Ordered the following:Curd RiceMutton Boti TikkaChicken Lemon TikkaVegetable Tawa MasalaCurd rice was good and as expected.Chicken Lemon Tikka was also good but quite burntVegetable Tawa Masala was also good but the serving was small. Now the Mutton Boti Tikka is a lie... serving size is small and the menu says it is boneless but all we got is bone and heavily burnt meat.Overall... it's just the curd rice and vegetable that we appreciated. Will I recommend this place? Nope... there are plenty of other Indian places that is worth the price and serving size.Pictures are proof of the menu saying it is boneless and the bones of what we ate. :(My wife told the waitress of our concern and she brought it up to the chef but looks like we were ignored. So we're giving this place 2 stars only.update: I felt uneasy being ignored so before paying I spoke to the waitress again and asked if the food I ordered is supposed to be lamb ribs and she said... "No sir, boneless po" my wife then asked for a Manager but the lady was just smiling uneasily... she then said, "We can just replace it... my wife said "wag na yung lamb, kahit yung curd rice na lang, she said she will call her boss"... after a few minutes of waiting she came back with our curd rice. Thanks for the freebie nevertheless, I will still not recommend the place.

Disappointed with the chicken biriyani. Got it served cold served in 3 mins. Basically a chiken curry rice called biriyani. (In the past it was not like this )

Nescio08:27 02/10/23
The Indian restaurant is at the top of the Podium. It's simply furnished, but you sit comfortably. The service seemed a bit sluggish, and the food was ok and spicy. They served the food quickly.

Eric TW07:08 12/22/22
The food was decent overall, especially the chicken tikka, but the lamb dish I had did not have enough meat imo. The service was also good. Worth a try if you are in Ortigas, imo.

Alexander Pua05:31 11/17/22
Nice place n big serving food it great but choose mild on the saucing meal n very price is reasonable at the place but losing the 1 star ⭐️ on the smell of the place (being authentic) n server appearance n no one front desk

We used to love the Chicken Tikka Masala here but when we tried it again this afternoon, the taste changed. We prefer the one in BGC.

Food - don't order the Alfredo. Too much sauce, the pasta was practically floating on it.Service - ok, staff are nice. But I had a minor unfavorable incident. Tiramisu was served after I asked for my bill.Atmosphere - hard to take the place seriously as a place serving Italian food because of the playlist on the stereo.

Richard Tseng07:58 03/18/23
Best pizza in the Philippines! Pizza is made fresh, hand tossed, and fantastic ingredients! Price is very reasonable and worth the trip. Chicken wings were good as well as the caprese salad. Highly recommended and is located in The Podium Mall.

Raul, Jr. Gonzalez14:44 06/25/22
A pizza-and-pasta chain. The flavors and ingredients are more on the Italian-American style; than traditional Italian. This is one of only two Italian restaurant chains in Metro Manila where I enjoy the Pasta All'Arrabiata.Their pasta with clams includes bacon; and arrives with a sprinkle of cheese on it (probably parmiggiano, pecorino, or grana padano). The pasta was good; but traditional Italians don't put cheeses on their seafood pasta. Furthermore, they seem to limit all their pasta dishes to only spaghetti; no linguine, fettucine, penne, or rigatone. But, as I wrote above; the pasta was good. I haven't tried their pizzas yet.Prices are affordable.

Jasper Espejo11:08 05/31/22
Looks nice but sadly, the pasta noodles had a moldy taste, squid was spoiled and tomato sauce tasted like out of a can.

bambi atwork14:00 12/23/19
Good ambience. Very modern rustic ala Brooklyn style. The chain came from NYC so.... Good selection, but since I'm on GF diet, I was only able to eat the chicken and salad, which is good for the price, but not exactly memorable. Their pizzas looked very authentic, though. They have brick oven grill in house and I saw several foreigners really enjoying the good deals they have (like unlimited wine or course menu with complementary wine bottle for only 1000 pesos). Unfortunately, not for those on Gluten-free.

Gems Gonzalez13:57 04/28/18
We enjoyed the pizza, roasted chicken, tiramisu and wine! Love the ambience here, its wooden ceiling and walls, the neo Art Deco. It’s a modern Italian restaurant. It’s pizza is baked in stone-brick oven.

We are a family of 10 including 2 seniors, yet the accommodation of seats were quick and no hassle. The staff were attentive despite the busy lunch rush. They were also amiable and checked in on us if the food was good and up to our expectation. They are also placed in a location that isn’t as crowded as other branches.Highly recommended for big groups! It was really a pleasant experience.

Jef Pre04:57 07/20/23
Its my 1st to eat in manam podium and as always the food is great with different approach or twist. The service is topnotch during the busiest hours. And the place is clean and very acceptable considering a crowded place, you can still feel comfy.

Cham ZJ21:20 06/13/23
Good experience. Waiting time was not too long (ate there during Sunday lunch time). Food was served fast.We ordered beef sinigang, bicol express, pancit with sisig toppings, patis chicken wings, turon with ice cream, and leche flan. The leche flan never arrived. The pancit was a bit salty for us.

Michael Griffin06:36 06/08/23
We chose this restaurant because it seemed to be a nice, casual place to enjoy lunch, however our experience didn't reflect that expectation. We dined here on 6/7/23.The unsavory experience started immediately once we made contact with the hostess. She was very dry and seemed to not be engaged in her job. Once we were seated, we were given only one menu.Service: The restaurant wasn't busy as there were only 3 other tables occupied besides ours. The guy next to us was having issues getting the attention of staff so he can bill out. Same for us as we tried to place our order. The server didn't deliver the pitcher of water, nor did he bring our food out together. One half of the order was brought to our table, about 8 minutes later the remaining food was delivered. Finally our drinks were brought to us. By the time we finished our meal, the restaurant began to fill up with employees going on their lunch break. We had to speak with 3 different restaurant employees to get billed out and that experience in itself took about 15 minutes. Service was not organized, fast, or friendly. It appeared to us that some of the staff were not properly trained or were engaged in their position. I do not recommend this restaurant solely based on the service experience. Way too slow and disorganized.Food: We ordered 2 lattes, super arroz caldo, and the corned beef sisig. The lattes tasted like bland hot water. They were not an actual latte. Undrinkable. The chicken in the caldo had a bad taste to it, almost like it's been cooked days ago. Other than the taste of the chicken, the rest of the dish was fine. The only complaint on the sisig is the fried egg on top was very rubbery. Other than that, it was delicious.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Manam, a Filipino restaurant known for its delectable cuisine. The food they served us was undoubtedly delicious, and I thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience. However, there were a couple of aspects that left room for improvement.Let's start with the positives—the Filipino dishes at Manam were absolutely delightful. From the first bite to the last, every dish was bursting with authentic flavors that truly showcased the rich culinary heritage of the Philippines. The menu offered a wide variety of options, ranging from traditional favorites to modern interpretations, allowing guests to explore and savor the diverse tastes of Filipino cuisine. However, despite the excellent food, there were a couple of areas that left me slightly disappointed. Firstly, the service fell short when it came to the billing process. It took an unusually long time for our bill to arrive, which resulted in an unnecessary delay and a slight dent in an otherwise enjoyable dining experience. While this may have been an isolated incident, it would be advisable for Manam to address this issue and ensure a more efficient and prompt billing process for their patrons.Another minor issue that affected the overall ambiance was the presence of flies flying around the dining area. It was a bit distracting and took away from the otherwise pleasant atmosphere. While I understand that controlling pests can be challenging in any establishment, it would be beneficial for Manam to implement additional measures to minimize the presence of flies, such as regular cleaning and strategic placement of insect traps or screens.Despite these minor complaints, I would still highly recommend Manam to anyone seeking an authentic and flavorful Filipino dining experience. The delicious food and diverse menu options truly showcase the culinary delights of the Philippines. With a bit of attention to the billing process and further efforts to address the issue of flies, Manam has the potential to elevate its already excellent dining experience to new heights.Overall, Manam provides a delightful culinary journey through the flavors of the Philippines, and I look forward to returning to indulge in their delectable offerings once again.

Wide choice of selections here, especially the chicken Inasal skewers...crowded during lunch with queue thus its good to be early.Although I like their selection of drinks especially the mango smoothies but it can somewhat sweet.

Mats John Carlo Mateo23:16 01/27/23
Manam Cafe has a nice atmosphere, although I find there tables to be a bit too narrow and cramped. The food is good, and some dishes are quite unique Filipino selection, mostly Pampanga selection. Price a bit on a high side but worthy.

Belle Chavez18:06 01/14/23
The interior of the restaurant is very pleasing. I love the french mirror and loft style design. It was already lunch time when we get there and the line was a bit long however, when we are seated, our food were served within 15 minutes. Their staff were all very attentive and efficient. The food was also great. My favorite is crunch salt and pepper squid. They offer Filpino food with a twist which is nice.

angel I10:39 11/02/22
Helpful friendly staff. clean, unisex restroom.Their menu with a twist is surprisingly okay. I was expecting the beef sinigang in watermelon to be sweet but it's actually good. Tastes refreshingly sour. Soup can be refilled one time.

Luciano Sioson20:32 04/26/22
One of my favorite restaurants. Good food, ambience and service. This brand is solid, and this branch is one of the best, if not the best. Being in posh and serene Podium is already a plus, but the restaurant itself is nicely done. Bright and airy, with appealing decor.I like this branch a lot, because unlike other branches, like the one in Megamall for example, this one isn't crowded. They have just the right amount of tables, so even when the place is full, it doesn't feel crowded, and, most of all, its not too noisy. I think the restaurant's high ceiling also helps with the reduction in the noise. This makes dining here very pleasant and relaxing. I hate it when I eat in restaurants where you can't even hear your companions when they speak because the place is so noisy.Like I've said, the Manam brand is solid. They have one of the best takes on Filipino cuisine. All balikbayans and foreigners should be brought to a Manam restaurant at least once in order for us Pinoys to showcase what good Filipino food tastes like. Manam should also consider putting up branches in the US so that Filipino food is better represented there.Back to my experience in this branch. I and my wife ordered some of their kare kare. It had 'tuwalya' and beef chunks. It should have included oxtail, but, unfortunately, they didn't have any at the time we ordered, so they just added more beef chunks to compensate. It was still good though. The sauce was very thick and peanut-ty. We ordered a medium and we didn't finish it so we took home the leftover. We also ordered a small order of their garlicky fried bangus. It was a mistake. I should have ordered a medium. It was so good and I finished it by myself, leaving none for my wife. Good thing she was more interested in the kare kare that she left the bangus all to me.We also ordered a small beef tadyang. This was the only dish we ordered that I didn't like so much. It was good but it was too pricey for the serving size.Even the white rice here is of good quality and cooked well. A sign of a good Filipino restaurant.Even after we stopped eating because we were already full, we couldn't stop looking at the food being brought to other tables. They all looked yummy. We took a mental note of the other dishes we would like to try next time. For sure we are going to try the pancit with the squid ink. It looked amazing.Besides the beef tadyang, I think the prices are reasonable here. The quality is very good that you wouldn't mind paying for it. It would be worse if you paid a bundle and yet you weren't satisfied with the food. I would eat here again and again if I have the money.

Food is excellent, service is good as well. I personally love their margherita pizza. First time ordering Gibraltar and it was surprisingly nice.

I ordered bacon and eggs for brunch. The bacon was crispy and not too greasy. The yolks of the sunny side up eggs were jammy and perfect for dipping the sourdough bread. The long black coffee was just OK. They served basil-lemon water as service water. The place also offers pastries and other desserts. The service was quick, but the servers were not too attentive. I had to request for utensils after my order was served.

Maikeru08:04 02/28/23
First time eating here on a Friday evening with my SO and I can say we have another place we can go back to for good food.I ordered steak and eggs as I am on a gluten-free diet while SO ordered southern fried chicken. The chicken's batter is decently crisp while offering a light texture unlike other traditional fried chicken. The honey and gravy adds some dimension to the dish. The steak I ordered was cooked on the medium side - charred on the outside and very pink on the inside. Just perfect! It is the best way to eat meat in order to savor the flavor and its tender texture. The accompanying garlic oil is pretty good. The only downside is I like a bit of salt on the eggs. And would've liked some more char on that tomato too - and would've been better if I can have an extra one. Overall, I am happy with it - those are just my thoughts.Finishing out meals with a cup of black coffee and iced tea and I cannot recommend them enough!I docked one star as I feel like things are not as seasoned enough. It is healthier though.Service was excellent. We will be back.

Aleli Rosario05:41 01/17/23
Update: we ate here again just a month after the first. Maybe because of inflation, the serving for the pasta is noticeably lesser and space made up for by bread. But what really disappointed me this time was the super slow service. It took them 30 minutes to bring out one of our salads. Additional 15 minutes to bring the rest of our orders. Even if we wanted to add to our orders, the time it took them to prepare the original orders was just too much. In the end, we just decided to eat what was in our table, cancel whatever was not brought out and leave. We ate again at one of the restaurants beside them. Such a waste of time. I'm downgrading my rating to 3 from the original 4 because of this experience.Original review: This restaurant is famous for their fried chicken which you eat by pouring honey and gravy over it. The topping then provides a sweetness to the crispy chicken that delights your palate. For starters, we ordered their cheese wonton and the oriental salad with crispy shrimps. I loved the dressing on the salad. It was just nicely balanced. We had truffle pasta, roasted beef belly, and the chicken. Of the 3, nothing stood out in particular except for the honey/gravy combo on the chicken. We combined these with orders of cucumber drink.I'd say Nono's offer comfort food that you can come back to again and again. Oh, we also ordered their famous chocolate cake to go. It is rich and sinful. This is 3.8 ~ hence, 4.

I've been seeing Nono's pop up everywhere with glowing reviews but I have to say, I was completely underwhelmed by my whole dining experience there. It certainly did not live to its hype and I struggled to find what was special about itThere's usually a queue of people waiting to be seated but since we were there at 2pm, the place was not as busy and we were seated right away.I was told Nono’s Fried Chicken was the star of the menu and I had many high hopes for it but in the end, it tasted not much more than the a usual breaded chicken. Comparing it to the Buttermilk Chicken at Fireside, the one i had in nono's was crispy but fairly dry and lacking juiciness on the inside. There were no fries and so we were served with potato crisps along with it. It tasted like store bought potato crisps. The Kesong Puti was good, but be warned that it's nowhere near the traditional one. It was a bit sweet to my taste and would have been nice if it had a gist of saltiness in it to stand out more and pair better with the toasted breadThe salad was nothing to write home about. And for that price, i had expected it to be served with more shrimpsService was great and the area was nice. I hope Nono's will keep improving over the years since it's fairly new.

Service:- staff were kind but kitchen to table time took a while. Our salad was relatively quick followed by the chicken and waffles but the miso ended up being served after a while of waiting (probably waited for the red rice to cook)Nono’s salad- Mix of freshness from the fruit, and granola, cheese crisps were good, sauce had a hint of bitter balsamic, had almonds for texture- Mango, grapes, watermelon, strawberryChicken & Waffles- waffles were more crispy, it’s a croissant waffle not the usual waffle, tastes like a good croissant- Honey first then gravy on the chicken was suggested and it did not disappoint, boneless so everything can be consumed too- Maple syrup for the waffleMiso-glazed Salmon- our salmon took long but was cooked well, not dry and quite pleasant salmon flavor- Sauce goes well with it, comes with a few beans on the side, red rice with some corn in it- Misp glaze with sesame seeds on top- Skin of the salmon was removed / not included in the dish, might have been nice to have it as fried salmon skin on the side maybe

I must say I was deeply underwhelmed with the quality of food I was served earlier. I had very high hopes when I suggested to my friends that we have dinner here. The course went off to a great start with the Oriential Shrimp Salad but immediately fell flat with the Farmers Corn Chowder Soup and French Onion Soup. Ultimately, I was left unimpressed with the salty fried chicken and the bland Salmon and Lemon Cream Pasta.Aside from the salad, I would probably consider the waffle as the saving grace for tonight’s meal.
