I brought my family to have a dinner. We ordered and we were told that the servce will be within 30 minutes. Plates, water were served. When we followed up, the other waiter came back and said that they have to take again our orders as it was not punched in the kitchen. Seriously?! Dine in if you have a patience!

A very popular restaurant, most of the time you have to queue before you get a table. If you are coming with 6 or more people would be better one person come around 5.30 pm to book a table. The restaurant is spacious and well decorated. The ceilings are particularly remarkable.Service people are very attentive and gentle on top of some being truly professional.The dishes are delicious and generous.Prices are quite reasonable. I will come back

I had the pleasure of trying Lantaw Restaurant's unlimited breakfast together with our regional director.Food choices are aplenty yet lacking.Menu: Highyly recommended for meat lovers. However, for those who prefer vegetables over meat, options are not that plenty. However, there are other options like budbod, pancakes, and waffles, among others.Staff: The staff was also very attentive and accommodating.Ambiance: We happen to sit on the table facing the street and the sea. However, the view is not that good since the view of the road on Flores Avenue does not have the aesthetic to make you feel relaxed. Rather, you will see a lot of vehicles passing by which will sometimes distract your view of the sea. However, the interior of the restaurant gives a cozy vibe because of the cold air coming from the air conditioning unit nearby.Overall, I highly recommend Lantaw Restaurant's unlimited breakfast for any food lover looking to start their day in Dumaguete City.

Adobo fried rice was gold!!! Only P170 and you get rice good for 6 with a generous serving of crispy adobo.I'm giving 4 stars though because didn't find anything spectacular besides the rice. I wasn't disappointed but I wouldn't say I'm dying to go back.

A very large family oriented restaurant. It was my first time here and our party of 22 were able to eat for 4200p, a real bargain for the quantity and quality of food. With a beautiful view of the bay, it is seafood oriented but not exclusively. It has a large menu selection with reasonable fast service for how busy the place was when we were there. I hope to get back before we have to leave.

My first time eating here yesterday January 15, 2022 when i visited my daughter where her rented apartment is just a few minutes away from there. Parking area no problem. Location wise it's so strategically at the right place where one can breath fresh air from the sea. You can also dine inside an air-conditioned room. Food were so delicious where one can choose from its menu. Price? Don't be surprised it's affordable. Service is fast with courteous and smiling servers.

The food and presentation is quite good (5 stars) but the service, cold food, stool seating and basic ambiance are distracting.PRO: The food is quite good.CON: Almost exclusively Filipino (rice & meat with few vegetables) with a western flair. No vegetable side dishes. Four tiny dining areas spread across three floors and outdoors. Stool seating. Our first visit here after hearing about it from 2 Dumaguete locals. We didn't find it last year but we found it this time (2/28). Its easy to miss as there are no big signs outside. We parked in the shade of a tree outside. Front entrance opens to 2 tables & the service staff & kitchen area. Theres an al fresco sitting outside & more tables up a short stairway. Service staff were courteous & efficient. Our waitress knew all the menu items. We ordered plain mango salad (GOOD), crispy pork (VG), potato crusted chicken (VG) all were nicely plated and very delicious. We upgraded from regular plain rice to garlic rice ( good for 2) This restaurant is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. We will be back to try the other menu items.

The pork belly with pancit is the most tender pork belly I had, its literally melts in the mouth.The sisig tacos are pretty decent too, comes with a fried quail egg.Crispy Pork has a perfect combination of taste and texture.Their beef variations of Beef Shank and BBQ Beef Shortplate was good too!

The best restaurant in Dumaguete! They change their menu so there's always something new to try whenever I go home to Negros. My favorite for this trip is the crispy chicken bun! The chicken is so juicy and crispy! It's a shame I don't live in Dumaguete or I would have it for every meal!

Caesar salad was underwhelming. Would have also been better if they served it in a big bowl since they don’t serve it fully tossed with the dressing. It was a bit of a struggle to mix it in the platter where it was served.I feel like the chicken quesadillas were not even toasted altogether but were just assembled after the tortilla was heated. I took a bite and the cheese was still cold! Took a look inside and the cheese didn’t even seem to have melted. Server was nice enough to have the kitchen toast it for us though.I think it was overpriced for what we got.

Oops...soz...my plate is done. It had the Samurai Salmon topped on kimchi and rice. And it was very flavorful. On the side were spring rolls which tasted great as well. I remember Kri had really excellent dishes when it was still across Portal west...and glad it still is around delivering the same quality!

We unfortunately spent a rather annoyed evening here after coming with some optimism due to all the positive reviews.Staff was quite unheeding when we arrived so it took some time until they brought in some gawky garden chairs into the indoor area to seat us at a table. We ordered two pasta dishes, and were rather unhappy that it not only took >60min to prepare but also that the two dishes arrived 30min apart from each other which makes a date night awkward with one person completely finishing their pasta while the other one is hungrily watching for a long time. The tables around us were waiting for >20min just to get their drinks and looked pretty dismayed as well since very simple orders were taking that long. Not sure if we just visited during a bad day, or if there is a systemic overload in the kitchen, but considering the upper price range and setting, this evening did not meet our expectations management-/service-wise. That being said, the food itself was tasty, but we didn't dare to order desert due to the already spent time waiting.

I was going frequently to this restaurant before I went out of Philippines for 2 years.There is a change of owner in the meantime.Unfortunately this change is not for the best. The ambiance, the decoration lost their attractivity. It seems that the restaurant live on its reputation. The choice of wines has diminished a lot. The menu is reduced and the meals wether in terms of presentation, taste and quantity are not as good as before. The service is fare but not as sympathetic as before. It seems to me that the owner doesn't give importance of his own presentation. Pity

Wonderful place here in Dumaguete best pizza hands down we recently moved from the US and have not been able to find a good pizza place. We'll that has changed since we found this wonderful place the pizza is amazing great crust and tomato sauce is so flavorful very Italian style. This restaurant also has great burgers just like back home we will be coming back for more!

We enjoyed eating in this establishment. The pizza is indeed in Italian style. As the owner said, he will never compromise the quality of his pizza. He used real tomatoes. I gave him 10/10. Customer service is excellent. Surely, we will return for another meal. See the attached photos and you will understand.

I saw many nice reviews and wanted to give Casablanca a try. The service was pretty good and friendly, prices are reasonable for western food, and I like the place as a whole.The mushroom risotto, the schnitzel and the seared tuna were pretty good.We also ordered the garden salad but that was drenched in sauce and not appetizing at all. Plus the leaves weren't fresh.After I left the restaurant, I started to feel nauseous, which made me worried and concerned that food isn't as fresh as I thought.All in all, the meal was ok, good for a date

Had Kinilaw and other dishes from Casablanca and they tasted so good! They also provide complimentary bread (soft and perfect as an appetizer) with garlic butter spread (which also tasted yummy!) while waiting for your order.The outdoor seats have an ocean view that creates a relaxing ambiance.

Service was great. The food is delicious and filling. Ordered 1 hunter's platter, 1 roasted pumpkin squash and 1 serving of white wine. Waiter immediately offered to split the soup and wine into two smaller portions. This is added service shows care for customers. The portions were filling even in half sizes. Left the place full but not bloated. Will definitely dine in again.

We went there today for lunch (Jan 25). We saw on the blackboard at the entrance that they served Chicken Stroganoff with spätzle as menu of the day so we were directly sold and we ordered 2 menus of the day.We started with a green salad what was very good and well served. The main dish came... well, it was absolutely NOT Stroganoff sauce! The sauce was very dark, liquid and not cheesy and NO taste of what a Stroganoff sauce should taste like! There was a ton of (kind of) mushrooms in it. Those put aside my plate, because I don't like mushrooms, there was not a lot left.We both eat what was supposed to be Stroganoff and then the dessert came. It was Kaiserschmarrn. My 'pancakes' were baken very hard and tiny while those of my spouse were soft, big and tasty. Strange if you order the same thing.Don't get me wrong, I don't say we didn't have a good lunch!But please 🙏 don't propose something to clients if it ain't the one you're serving! They could be very disappointed and we were for sure 😔.

The area is right along the boulevard. Easily accessible from lee plaza, port, and the cathedral. Great food choices. Ordered their fish and chips, tuna steak, fish sinigang, and hunter's platter. They're a bit pricey, but the taste and service make up for it. The staff was also really accommodating. The place is good for families and introverts (no other diners were there when we dined in 😆🙌). They have outdoor seating as well. They respond within a few hrs in their messenger and cell numbers. Would love to dine here again next time!

Visited for the first time this week. WOW! We both tried the English breakfast and it was like being transported back to the heart of England. Best we have had in the Philippines by a country mile. Amazing food and staff did a great job. The burger was one of the best i have had. The tuna was done to perfection. I had an icecream coffee to drink. It was wonderful as well. I will definitely be returning to try other items on the menu.

Casablanca is indeed one of the best restaurants here in Dumaguete.One of our favorites! Food has always been superb and customer service, impeccable.We celebrated my husband’s birthday here recently and the staff had been very kind and helped me decorate the area.It was easy to coordinate with them because everyone was efficient and the team was organized.They even kept the surprise birthday cake and sang for the celebrant!Thank you, Ms. Glory and the entire team.We had a lovely time.Also, compliments to the chef for the scrumptious dinner.

We trusted the reviews and had dinner here, and it was below average.The smell of humidity in the restaurant wasn't very nice but we decided to stay anyway.We order 2 chai masala, a butter chicken, and a chicken biryani. The butter chicken had a nice flavor but it was a soup more than a curry. Very liquid.The roti that came with it were nice.The chicken byriani was not good. They first served us raw chicken (raw in the literal sense) and they then changed it with an old-ish grilled chicken. Terrible.When he finished cooking, the cook started to clean his teeth in front of us while we were eating. I would expect it from a street food stall, not a proper restaurant.Wouldn't recommend and certainly won't come back.EDIT: We came today Sunday 25 June in the evening around 8

Not as many vegetarian options as I expected, but all of them were good! The portions are generous and the curries come with two roti each, which is great value. Comforting and authentic Indian flavours, definitely will return!

The good thing about the restaurant is you can ask the chef for an authentic taste and not be adjusted for the Filipino Palette. Don't ask for Vindaloo to be authentic unless you can handle spicy food, because it is spicy just as I remember my first foray into Vindaloo years ago.You might be surprise, it's not in the picture I had it delivered because I was having flu and I needed something for me to taste my food.

This restaurant was known for it’s fresh seafood. In the past we enjoyed the food and atmosphere. So disappointed this time. The fish is all frozen. We had two types of fish, shrimp and stuffed octopus. All was overcooked and tough. The vegetable Kang Kong was mostly stems and tough. Could not eat it. What a shame.

Chilled out treehouse bar/restaurant with sort of a view.I wanted a place to just chill and gawk. I found it.The Hayahay treehouse fit the bill.The 2nd floor upstairs perch along the rail gives you a great view of the ocean, islands and the comings and goings of the street below . The mass of tangled wire partially obstructing the view just adds to the tawdry nature of this Dumaguete bar.The beer was cold and the service relaxed and casual. Time just melted away. The lechon was crispy and well prepared.....a perfect accompaniment to the beer.■■■■■Prices were reasonable although there is an added 5% service charge■■■■■Handicap ♿️ doable downstairs.Recommended

Μπορεί να είναι απασχολημένος ειδικά κατά την ώρα του δείπνου, γι' αυτό συνιστάται η κράτηση καθώς είναι ένα μικρό μέρος. Παρήγγειλα κοτόπουλο στον ατμό και χοιρινό τηγανητό, αλλά το κοτόπουλο στον ατμό ήταν τουλάχιστον βρώσιμο. Το κρέας μόλις πετάχτηκε. Όλα τα υλικά είναι ψιλοκομμένα Kimchi Αυτό δεν μπορεί να λέγεται kimchi...Ιδανικό για ντόπιους. Δεν είναι μέρος για να πάνε οι Κορεάτες. Αυτή είναι η πρώτη φορά που ένα φιλιππινέζικο εστιατόριο δεν δίνει φιλοδωρήματα. Πήγα επειδή οι κριτικές με αστέρια ήταν καλές, αλλά απογοητεύτηκα.

Ήταν υπέροχο που έχουν απεριόριστα συνοδευτικά. Παραγγείλαμε το τηγανητό κοτόπουλο τους και το γλυκό και πικάντικο στιφάδο με ζυμαρικά. Το τηγανητό κοτόπουλο ήταν πραγματικά ζουμερό και νόστιμο. Τα noodles δεν ήταν πολύ πικάντικα και λέει ότι είναι καλό για δύο άτομα, αλλά ήμασταν τέσσερις και δεν μπορούσαμε καν να το τελειώσουμε. Ήμασταν αρκετά γεμάτοι και ικανοποιημένοι. Το θέμα μου είναι ότι οι διακομιστές άργησαν να μας δώσουν τις παραγγελίες μας, αλλά καταλαβαίνω γιατί είχε πολύ κόσμο εκείνο το βράδυ. Ο χώρος ήταν σχεδόν γεμάτος. Θα επέστρεφε για περισσότερα.

I wish I could give this restaurant a 0 but unfortunately nothing is lower than a 1 star for reviews. First of all, it’s not worth to get one of the pan fried steaks/chickens they have on their menu up above. The price does not match the portion size, not to mention they even forgot the vegetable sides. I had to ask them to actually COMPLETE my order. It’s better for you to order the kimbaps or the noodles. Even the Bibimbap was twice the size! Second, my friends and I paid for our individual meals, we paid in cash, and it was all complete, so the total change back that should have been given would be exactly 200. The only thing in coins was worth 35 pesos, but like I said, we got that covered. They came back, and said “sobra,” are you kidding? How are you gonna run a business and not know how to count money? I would have understood if it was a busy day, but it wasn’t. 30% of the place was filled, and they don’t have the time to count bills? My friends and I can see the staff lounging and talking to each other. Third, not to mention our waiter when we asked him questions about the menu, didn’t even know what to say about it. Please, choose a different Korean restaurant. This place is BS. Please look at the picture down below, that’s supposed to be worth the price? Yet the rest of what we ordered were double the portion for less. The size is smaller than a face mask. I wish I didn’t take a picture close up, so you could actually see how disappointed I was, when the picture they have on their menu is nothing like the one you get in real life.

It was a full tummy experience. We order bulgogi (it's kinda sweet, I was hoping its spicy) and fries, we actually had a hard time finishing our food because before coming to 2 story kitchen we ate siomai and other street food already.

their pork was well marinated, soft.our fave samgyupsal in the city.just 499. unli rice and pork. but iced tea is priced differently. they dont serve cheese too along with the pork unlike other samgyup in manila. but overall i like the ambiance. nice place. courteous attendants but then i realized they only serve one kind of pork. we are used to at least 4 choices of pork and 4 choices of beef at the same price. i liked their side dishes, though.i hope they improve their menu for better chances of more hungry clients.they serve the beef with different price tag. not unlimited.

The food is really delicious! The place is cozy. The staff is very accommodating. The location is accessible to other known establishments like Boulevard, Sans Rival, Miniso, Lee Plaza - it's in the heart of the city.

I organised a surprise birthday lunch for my Mum at The Oasis located in Florentina Homes which was catered by their in-house restaurant Gabby's Bistro.The set up in the Oasis Ballroom was perfect for our guests and love how the pool is just outside so the kids could also have a swim for a small fee of P50 each.The ballroom was air-conditioned and the size was perfect for our group of 35 people. It could comfortably fit up to 50 people. The decor has a tropical feel to it thanks to the mural and there was even a sound machine and free wifi to connect your device to and play music.Irish at the bistro was super friendly and very accommodating with my requests in regards to the catering.We chose the mid range buffet package which included a soup, vegetable or salad dish, 3 main dishes, a pasta dish, dessert which we opted for fruit platters and a round of soft drink. We were able to bring our own juices plus we set up a dessert table with no additional charge and we bought beers from the bistro. The food was good and there was so much of it left over that we took it home for dinner! We also added sliders for the kids which were also enjoyed by the adults!We had a great afternoon celebrating my Mum's birthday. The event was very reasonably priced for what's included and we had the venue for 6hrs.Thanks to the team at Gabby's Bistro and Florentina Homes for making my Mum's birthday party a memorable one! Would highly recommend having a small event at The Oasis in Florentina Homes!

Just had late lunch here. The pizza is really hard. It’s like I’m biting on a rock. I’m sorry but it’s not good. It’s the worst pizza I’ve ever had to be honest. So disappointing. We were starving and been traveling for 5 hours. Was just looking forward to that meal and it was awful

The OG branch of Gabby’s Bistro is one of the best restaurants in Dumaguete! Located within their hotel - Florentina Homes. I’m happy they do room service throughout the day.Cajun Chicken is my fave!

Wanted dessert so we asked some random student and he recommended this place. Price is relatively expensive compared to others we've seen but this is probably one of the only places we've been to in dumaguete that served dessert. My family and I loved the food here. Reasonably priced and good quality. The place has a nice ambiance, too. We ate here thrice during our short stay in Dumaguete, but I was only able to picture the desserts 😆

We hold our meeting and preparations for our administrative hearing the next day. I visited this many times because of the good ambiance of the place. The foods are very good and affordable. This is a good place for family bonding during meal time or with your friends.

Love the retro feel in this area. the food are amazing on lunch/dinner. the breakfast is just your regular hotel breakfast but generous in serving.things they could improve on is to modernize their seats. The shrimo gambas is way too spicy as they are uaing regular spice powder which you can really feel when eating. but overall a must try in Dumaguete

I visited this resto due to the recommendation as a must to go resto nearby. Bringing with me a high expectation especially with the taste since my palate looks for Mexican taste.It seems the resto is old and needs some renovation.The taste isn't that tasty, yes, it's an inspired Mexican cuisine but near it isn't. Better eating at the Mexican push cart themed.Well food presentation is okay but I'm really that satisfied with the taste.I suppose to taste other menu but trying my fav taco, tells me once is enough..Maybe before the resto menu is delicious but now.. It's different.. A lot happen during pandemic.. Tsk tsk..

Chill vibes, clean place though they were super busy, the crew were so friendly & tried their best to attend to every hungry & thirsty customers:) Rheena, I believed was our server, she was on top of her work, kudos!- A bit pricey though for the taste & quality of the food, our lettuce in the salad were not even chopped for easy eating & the tortillas were soaked /wet, not even fried!
