If you are looking for a nice Italian resto in Coron town, this is the place to be! Their Margherita pizza was superb (baked in a brick oven), the Pomodori was a great appetizer and the pasta that I ordered was Chicken and Truffle in Penne, rich, savory and satisfying. The ambiance of course was commendable, as it was overlooking the town and Coron Island. One unusual thing though, you would have to take off your slippers when you dine in!

I visited this restaurant 4 years ago, and it is a famous restaurant in Coron.I visited again after a long time, and the food is still delicious, and above all, the amount of food is very large.The atmosphere is also very good, so if u are staying in Coron, I recommend this restaurant.

Pizza is good! We ordered Panchetta con Tartufo and Prosciutto Crudo con Tartufo. I like the former better. We also ordered lasagna - Italian style (didn't enjoy it much because I'm used to the Pinoy style). Also ordered Fettu Gamberi and the detoxifying liter of cucumber-ginger-lemon juice which is okay. Service is okay tho we waited for our tables coz they are full house and the manager will just line up our orders once someone bills out so even if we finalized our order earlier, we still got our food a little late.

Italian delights in Coron! The room is dark, setting that romantic atmosphere. Everyone is requested to take their shoes and slippers off.Everything tasted authentic—and there’s a lot to choose from! Their carbonara is my favorite.If you are to visit for dinner, I suggest going here as early as 6 PM to avoid a long queue.

Good Dine In Place in CoronWent here for lunch after my flight from Manila. The place could be found in the second floor of the building. It was quiet and clean when I visited the place.I ordered their pasta worth P450 based on their staff recommendation. It was a combination of tomato and oil based kind of pasta and it was good. Good enough to start the Coron trip.

A must-visit restaurant within the town proper. It serves Italian cuisine, with pizza and pasta as their bestsellers. I tried shrimp/gambas pasta. Good for sharing, but I was hungry so i had it all to myself LOL. The dining area is airy and spacious, but can get humid at noon.

The restaurant is located on the top of the building and has a nice vibe. We ordered as a starter some pomodore and they were delicious but a little bit of a small portion for 180php. As a main we had some margarita pizza and a fungi pizza and both were okay but nothing special, for us a little bit to much cheese on the pizza and not enough tomato sauce. The service was good and the drinks were also delicious. Price is a little high but that is usual for western food.

Pasta and pizza was fine, the service was fine and the restaurant was clean and tidy. The ice cream was quite good, actually it was better than good. I liked it because it was really creamy and tasted good.There is good view from some of the tables near the window because the restaurant is on 1st floor and nothing obstructing the view.I would eat here again.

We had angus sliders, nachos and halo halo. Only the sliders were good. Nachos were quite underwhelming as the so called cheddar on top was not melted cheese but kind of a sauce and the meat was very limited. Halo halo might be a good taste for locals but we did not like it overall, maybe it was good for someone who likes shaved ice, tasteless jellos, beans and corns. It was also very hard to get the attention of the staff as they were all together around the cashier, talking to each other with their faces turned away from the tables.

It is a Filipino 5 star experience. We ordered steaks. Super friendly and nice service. It took one hour to get. Steaks were frozen and it takes time. Honestly I am super grateful that they took the tome as the steaks tasted super, instead of rushing them and doing something stupid that will compromise the taste.Will come again. Nice ambient. Cool staff.

Nice place with good food.We tried the Korean chicken and the fish and chips.Both were great though fish and chip purists might object that the batter isn't a true beer batter but it was still very tasty.Portions are seriously huge.

Very delicious tapas served with a warm smile. I especially liked the gambas shrimps (tiger prawns were sold out) and the Angus steak. The sauce went so well with the garlic rice. Drinks are very reasonably priced as well, with local beers costing only 80 pesos, and cocktails at 260 pesos.

We dined at Hermanos Tapas last Friday. We just walk to the place and no reservation is required. Upon entry, there were some tables occupied but only one server and one cashier were present during our visit. When we ordered our food, the restaurant was already full. However, no additional server. It took 40 mins before our food was served. We ordered angus steak medium well, calamares, churros, three cheese bombs and red wine. The churros and three cheese bombs were not good. The restaurant will provide you with a hand written receipt with a service charge. The ambiance was good but the service was not. We don't recommend it to repeat dining with them.

We were the only ones here at the time. So naturally service was great. Everyone helped each other provide service by bring out all the foods and drinks that we ordered. Most of the drinks were made as expected. Anything with mangoes of course tastes exceptional (why wouldn't they?) Their shrimp was good. I've learned that I do not like cheese in the Philippines.. but it's all subjective.. nothing against the restaurant... I brought it up because I was disappointed in the mozzarella sticks. Their garlic rice is on point and their beef is also good

Hands down the best food in Coron. We were here 5 years ago and knew we had to come back. Chef and Host KT is delightful and and an amazing cook along with her husband. The place has a great family feeling and is very charming. We loved meeting Draego he was the star of the show!We had amazing pork and tofu sizzling sisig, homemade pot stickers, bbq grilled chicken and pork which comes with an incredible sauce. We also tried the homemade meegoreng noodles, again top notch.The other great thing about umamikusina is the pricing is really fair and much more reasonable than some of the other restaurants in Coron.

Best dinner in coron. I was recommended the catch of the day in the yellow curry and it did not disappoint. They give you so much fish and the curry was so flavorful. Paired with with garlic rice. My boyfriend got the prawns with stir fried vegetables. He also really enjoyed his food. Highly recommend this place in coron. They also have live music.

Worst dining experience in Coron.1. The burrito tasted just like plain rice, no flavour at all. They don’t use the typical ingredients for burrito fillings. The cabbage or whatever was at the bottom didn’t taste nice. Super dry chicken2. Nachos were a joke. We ordered beef nachos, there was barely any meat but after trying it, it was chicken, we told the waitress and she said no that is beef.. the only good thing were the tortillas. But the toppings, again, dry meat and not nice.3. We ordered a side of guacamole for the nachos, which came 10 minutes after the nachos.. the portion size was ridiculous, we could just dip 2 nachos each and it was finished.

The service was really fast and the food was delicious, great atmosphere too! The restaurant is split into two, half Filipino and half Mexican. We tried a dish from both and we're impressed by both of our dishes.The Mexican is much more expensive, we had shrimp in the Tacos and the menu says +50 pesos. But we didn't realise it was +50 pesos per taco, so it did work out quite expensive overall, but they tasted great!

We went there several times during our stay in Coron. Unlike some other places that we tried in Coron, the staff at Umamikusina is friendly and welcoming (with a big smile).After going there several times and being disappointed because their blue marlin ceviche and the blue marlin tataki were sold out, we finally made it on time one evening! We rushed into the restaurant to make sure we'd order those dishes before anyone else does. We did not regret ordering them, they were delicious. It's difficult to know in advance whether blue marlin dishes will be available because it depends what fish are caught in the morning (which means it's always fresh from the market) and if you're unlucky, you may also get there once it's already sold out.The posted pictures below are Tuna Sisig (which was nice to change from beef or pork sisig that I had in several places), sizzling blue marlin, fish in coconut milk (really cheap for the quantity of fish that you get!), blue marlin tataki and blue marlin ceviche.We were just disappointed once about one dish : the chicken & chili garlic dish was not so tasty and it was pretty heavy (it's the one on the picture with the fish in coconut milk). We actually didn't expect to get that (although we didn't ask in advance to know what it was).Careful, when you take the forks and spoons from the self-service area beside the counter, they are in boiling water to keep them clean so it means they are burning. I'd always take them with a few napkins not to burn myself 🔥We definitely recommend this place 😋

I stumbled into this great local eatery by chance right before closing one evening and probably had the best Seafood Mee Goreng I ever had ... perfectly balanced flavors. Went back the next day (twice) for the local White Snapper in Coconut Milk and ultimately for the Blue Marlin Tataki & Sizzling Blue Marlin for dinner. The owner had proudly showed me the freshly caught Marlin when I had passed by for lunch earlier in the day which wet my appetite. Everything was outstanding, and the staff charming and attentive. 🙂 Great Job ...

That was definitely not a mistake. It was very, very delicious and I can definitely recommend the garlic & chili chicken 🤤The music makes us a little bit crazy, but the food got all our attention 😎

Lovely restaurant in Coron Town with good variety of local dishes. Very welcoming and excellent food at good price. We tried several restaurants in Coron and this was by far the best...we visited here 3 times during our stay. Fish dishes were particularly good. Seared blue marlin was perfectly cooked (seared and blue/rare) and one of the best fish dish we've eaten anywhere. I'd highly recommend.

Their Calypso drink is really recommended.But maybe some really like it here since they always have a crowded place since customers flock here though. Anyways, I love Pacifico. Ac & wifi & decent food/ cocktails. Large menu for those traveling in groups with different taste buds. My friend ordered the pork liempo which wasn’t good and tasted like bbq sauce and he also felt sick the next day and thought it could’ve been this dish since we shared most other dishes otherwise. Chili cheese fries were surprisingly good. My friend got the harvest bowl which she liked. We got the busanga pitcher which was tasty but reminded us of sunny d. They had a sushi menu which we did not try.

Had breakfast here and honestly wished I'd checked this place out earlier.It was open when we were prowling for a breakfast place at 7am, and well air-conditioned.The serving sizes were huge 😍🤤 and the flavours were comfortingly perfect for the egg sandwich and waffles. We are hanging out here, waiting for our ride to the airport. It's a nice place to relax and work. They have great food! We ordered the philly chicken cheese steak, aussie burger, and the loaded chilli fries. Pretty good! Good smoothies too!They also have desserts, coffee, tea, and alcoholic drinks. Good crowd. Very clean! Definitely an essential Coron dine in!

Best place to eat if you're in Coron, Palawan! I would go there everyday if I'm a resident or a tourist. The meals are delicious and not too expensive compared to the other restaurants around the area, staff are all attentive and friendly as well. The German owner is nice and friendly to customers too.

Worst night. We booked for 6PM and we asked during the booking if we can have the platter and be ready when we came, they also assured us that everything is available. We asked for the double. Me and my husband are totally disappointed because what came was a very small platter which was different from the picture. It was good for 1 person we even thought it was a solo. We asked for bread and it took 10mins to come because the platter consist of flat bread only, and when the bread came it was garlic bread which we asked for a plain one. We asked for Olive Oil what came was a coconut oil or was it even a cooking oil. The cheeses was rubbery not real cheese.When we were served with water they just gave us the whole 1L mineral bottle without the glasses. We had to ask for the glasses.And at the end, when asking for the bill we were charge with 1 drink that we didn’t order. We had to ask them twice because they charge a different drink the second time they gave us the bill. Another waiter accomodated us because the one who was serving us didn’t came back.What a disappointing night. Won’t recommend this place.

I came here many times during my stay in Coron. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff, they take credit card. The margarita pizza is my favorite (freshly made every time, thin crust, fire cooked, flavorful). The deserts are also very good.

Honestly hard to believe that Italian food can be done this well on a tiny Filipino island. Reservation was for 7 and we were seated immediately after arrival. Food was brought out quickly after ordering.The pizza was authentic brick-oven style that came out hot and fresh. The waitress was extremely attentive and incredibly accommodating. The Bolognese, Pesto, seafood chowder and breakfast player were also incredibly delicious.The atmosphere is cute and intimate. Great music playing and art lines the walls and shelves that you can purchase.I cannot recommend this place enough. Best food I've had on the island by far!

We had brunch here before our trip. They mostly offer western food in their menu and pork dishes. The only accept cash as payment. There is outside dining for those who prefer to eat outside. The inside dining is small. It’s located in front of the fire station. We paid less than P1K or $20 for a meal for two people. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Serving time is about 15 minutes. They give service water.

Foods are quite expensive, but the pork ribs tastes good though. Our sits were placed where there’s mosquito repellent coil on our side so it smells all the time. Services and staffs are accommodating, their kitchen is somehow on different place from the restaurant. I think it’s still worth a try.

Arrived around 8pm and luckily we were able to get a table. The service is good but needed to wait for a bit for the food. All of the orders are served accordingly. We highly recommend their Baby back ribs because it really tastes amazing. We also tried their fried squid, chicken and fries. The fruit shakes are also great. Rated 4/5 for the atmosphere because of the noticeable roaches creeping and flying while we were eating, but overall, this place deserves 5⭐️ and we would highly recommend to our friends and families.

Must eat and totally worth going to! Place was recommended by the hotel I'm staying at. Food is delicious, servers are very hospitable with good customer service and atmosphere is very cozy and chic. Probably needs improving on time serving dishes. It took a tad long to get my food, to be fair from my obersrvation I think their kitchen is far from the actual restaurant hence it can be understandable.

Garlic rice and fruit juice are one of the best orders.Beef soup, squid ring, sisig, salad, beef ribs so far so good but the crab so far not really worth even it's big but less meats.Overall it's recommended coz we don't wait too long as expected and there's also 2 cute kitties around 😀

This place deserves 6 if not 7 stars. Best ribs I've ever had and I've lived in multiple places known for ribs. (Yes that's a half rack pictured). The other two dishes we had were excellent too. Service was quick but still a relaxing atmosphere and the prices were very reasonable for the amount of food. Just wished we had found it earlier in the week. Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone in the area.

Their baby back ribs are the best. The place although small is very cozy. Good ambience, and really kind staff. We arrived at 9:30 but they still entertained us even though it’s nearing their closing time. Reservation is a must, though. I also recommend their seafood kare-kare. A must-try restaurant in Coron!

The food certainly lived up to the amazing reviews we saw for this restaurant, the ribs were so tender and succulent. We met the Chef/Owner as he was setting up a "Food Fight" spread for an upcoming 12 top. He was very passionate and we could taste the love he had for his restaurant in his food!

We ate here as a group. 5 stars for the food. Their ribs was too good to be true!!!2 stars for the service. It was too slow. Even if you text them for reservation you might still wait for 1-2hours. I think they need to expand and add more staff.

I would give 0 stars if I could!Reservation for 7:15. Ordered at 7:30. Served food at 9pm. We were told it is first come first serve, yet two tables were served before us. Half the menu wasn't available and the food that was brought out was mediocre at best.We were told there were no baby back ribs available, yet the table that ordered after us was served it. We settled for spicy beef spare ribs that came out without spice or meat. Just completely fat.Everything was served extremely cold, as if it had been sitting around for the entire time we were waiting. Not to mention vegetarian dishes ordered were served with shrimp. Also love finding hair in 3 of the 6 dishes ordered.On top of all of this, the service was the worst I've ever experienced, and that is not hyperbole.Avoid this place like the plague, I would recommend catching covid instead of eating here.

Highly known for its yogurt. As a non-yogurt lover, I find their dessert just okay. I initially thought that their rocky road offerings have a chocolate base, but I was wrong.Still a great place to hang out with friends over good food.☺️

We came here for dessert and the vibe is good (no AC inside though). We ordered the greek yogurt bowl topped with fruits and granola (would recommend) and the passionfruit and mango bowl (too sweet & I have a sweet tooth‼️so we only had a few bites of it). I asked for a receipt but they just provided a petty cash voucher. 👀 If I only ordered the super bowl, I would have given 4 stars. There is a stray cat that also likes to chill where the outdoor seats are.

Just had a fantastic breakfast here! The French toast was hot, crispy and custardy but our favourite bite was the “Coron experience” which was a perfect blend of mango and banana flavours topped with crunchy granola and chocolate nibs! The staff was very friendly and helpful, can’t wait to come back! 10/10 recommend if your in the area!!

Love this place! I highly recommend to try it! We have already gone twice and I would repeat again! Great quality of their food and lovely staff. We had Classic Omelete, French toast and Greek yogurt (homemade) with honey, mango and granola and Pinapple shake. Everything was very tasty.The owner is lovely and inspiring person. She takes a lot of care of the details and makes you feel very welcomed.

Excellent place! We went for breakfast and we repeated because we fell in love with the quality of their food and the friendly staff. Today we had Classic Omelete, French toast and Greek yogurt (homemade) with honey, mango and granola and everything was delicious. We also had a nice chat with the owner, who takes a lot of care of the details and makes you feel very welcomed. Super recommended if you want to have a nice tasty breakfast!

The food and drinks are good, but since it is with an open front towards the road, there is a lot of noise from the traffic. The yogurt ice creams are good.The service was fine and there was not a long waiting time.

We where early for diner, but the staff helped us perfectly.Food was good. Service better. The entrance needs improvement, felt like walking into a motorcycle garage (we had to ask if this was a restaurant). However, inside it looks better.

We ordered a lot of food but sadly we only liked the appetizers. their soup was really watery and very hot and it was the instant crab and corn soup from knorr since I've had this before. It would've been nice if its homemade considering that we're in an island with lots of seafood.their fish steak was a bit salty but the veggies next to it are nice. their pork sisig was okay but there was too much liver and less pork meat considering the price of it. the prawns were okay as well.the fried kangkong and dynamite was really good though not too oily and dynamite was really spicy. ensaladang lato was good as well it wasnt too salty flavor like the ocean. we also ordered four season shake it was lovely. calamansi juice could be better by adding more sugar.

BEST!!!!! If you want a restaurant that is fair in price and won't take advantage because you're a foreigner, this is the place for you. Best sea food in the island, and it won't break your bank. They have delicious lobsters, crabs and all sea foods that are easily affordable unlike other places who over price their food. The service was amazing, this was the only restaurant me and my wife returned to twice due to service, atmosphere and price.

We dined in this restaurant last Sunday before our flight going back to Manila. We went there before 11am and they already accommodated us. We ordered sizzling fish steak, sinampalukang manok, pork bbq, mango fruit shake and rice. It took 40 mins before our orders were served. We had to inform the server that we needed to catch up with our flight or else we would be late. The food was good. However, the chicken was not fully cooked. The ambiance was great but a bit humid. The service was terrible even though we were the first customers that time. I will still recommend it but be warned for a long serving time.

I would avoid this place when it comes to grilled seafoods. Their seafood was abnormally salty, like it was doubled cooked in salt. Also, because of their haste in grilling fishes, it became half cooked. When you grill fishes, the meat should come right off when picking. But not on this restaurant. Then the real problem begins: IBS. Just avoid this restaurant when you fancy grilled food. In general, only eat food that are well cooked in this entire town if you want to enjoy your vacation. It looks like there's no health inspection in Coron.

Love the foods, we order their famous seafood platter 650php, ensaladong Lato 125php, sinigang na fish 250php, sizzling squid 250php with fresh buko juice 75php. Its very affordable. The staff are friendly and accommodating.

We went Karl’s twice and loved their food. My friend told me that Bulalo(beef marrow soup) here was the best so far in Philippines. Baby back ribs was also surprisingly soft and tasty!

The place is cozy and instagrammable. At peak hors the people had to line up to get inside. One of the best sinigang I had. And the Karl's special barbecue was really huge and flavorful. The restaurant is a fusion of Korean and Filipino dishes.

Ordered their "Best Seller". Food was served cold like it was a left over. Asked them to reheat it but it was given back still cold. The water in maquinit hot spring is way hotter than the food. Even the eggplant is still raw. Server was rude too, turned his back while I was speaking with him.

Came here after forgetting to eat all day from the heat, looking for a nice place to chill out with a great filipino food.The food was exceptional and brought our energy back for more adventures, sisig was sooo delicious, rice was perfect and the ribs were so good, I wish I ordered a whole rack!Also the shakes were surprisingly so tasty and refreshing,This is the spot for fresh ingredients and really great cooking!I hope to come back here when I visit Coron again

Perfect place to eat and refuel after visiting the Coron sign. The ribs, which we thought were going to be bland and dry, were fall-off-the-bone tender and exploding with flavor. The bulalo was subtle and homey. I wish there was more bone marrow - there was only 1 in our bowl and only about a spoonful of marrow. The service was fantastic.The place is a bit dirty - I wouldn't recommend going to the bathroom. And make sure to wear insect repellent because the mosquitoes will find you! Although, that's no fault of the restaurant.

Headed here for a late lunch (delayed flight). We walked from Blue Waters Inn. No wait, but waited for someone to seat us (staff were all sitting at one table). We chose to sit at chairs and tables in the front of the resto.When we were ready to order, we turned the napkin holder around.We ordered the 3 piece Karl special - skewers of veggies and BBQ pork was super delicious and we had leftovers. The sweet and sour lapo-lapo (deep fried fish) was 250gm (pretty small fish) but tasted good. The bulalo was a pretty good sharable size soup and was also good. We both got a cup of white rice (not included in our menu choices). The fresh buko juice was good (would have been more refreshing if it was cold).Our total was 1758 pesos which included a service charge. Our left overs was bagged.

This place was recommended by a lot of locals we ask for a good place to eat. Maybe my expectations got really high I ended up being a bit disappointed. Although the place and ambiance was good, my group found the place a bit expensive for the quality of their food and services.

nice grillrestaurant. they offer a lot of meat. food was delicious and also the staff was nice and supportive. they have 5 kubo's (bamboo pavillions) inside so if you want to get one be there before rush hour. prices are high because it is located directly on the way up to mount Tapyas.

We came from Vegas to enjoy what Coron has to offer. So, extremely disappointed with our dining experience. Service was so lousy and very slow. We seated earlier and waited for over 30 minutes. Total dining hours including the heated arguments with the manager is 2.5 hours. Pizza is taste old yet the manager wants us to pay in full price instead of offering a new one or asking if we like to cancel it. Manager doesn't know how to handle customer complaints. Their mango shake is lacking of sweetener. Unforgetable horrible dining experience ever we had in our entire lives! To the manager, I hope you remember me we had argument few weeks ago while many diners are staring at us because you provoke me telling we don't have money to pay. You even added that most of the customers are making excuses that food isn't good to avoid paying. You're such a very low class and mediocre manager ever telling that in front of your customers than asking us how could you correct your service. You even told me you don't care if I leave you a review here, so here we go!

Nice and spacious. They served the food very fast. Quite a surprise. There was a band but mostly it was jammers who were singing that night. Happy hour starts at 10. After we had our first drink we moved to another bar with better live music.

Great place to eat dinner and drink beer. Only issue was there was no table for 10+ pax. Had to combine two tables, but was not enough. The place seems to be a tourist spot, I would recommend to reserve your table before going first if you are a big group. The food was great, the staff are nice.

I read many reviews about this place how food is not that good, or, not good.So, I and my children old enough to drink had a hearty dinner somewhere and around 10pm went to this bar for drinks! It was low key, just the right ambience I was looking for. There was a live band which was also ok, you know, not too much. The establishment was big with many tables. It was not packed so it was spacious. I didn’t smell cigarette smoke while we were there, which is a relief!We ordered 4 drinks, 1 is non-alcoholic for my youngest, and peanuts (which looked suspiciously like a pack of Happy Peanuts from the grocery store) but we were happy enough. We parked ourselves at the bar where we could watch the bartender work his magic with our drinks and other peoples drinks and sang along with the live band. Not bad at all, it was overall a pleasant experience, thus the 5-star review.The waiters were friendly enough and made themselves available. You’d have to look around for one but they are also looking around so you’d be quick to watch someone’s eye, give them a wave and one will come over.They take cash and GCash. There is an ATMMachine nearby but apparently it closes at night, like there’s a roll-up door 😄.I spent p1,001 for my 3 alcoholic drinks, 1 non-alcoholic drinks and peanuts. Left a small tip. Pretty much like what you’d spend in an average bar in Manila.

Very cozy and likeable place. Food was very delicious- compliments to the cook! We ordered lots of Thai Milk Tea, it taste really good! Haha! 👍☺️They have a lot of staffs/waitress that are good in serving, very friendly and smiley too. They are very fast to serve. Good service minded as well as good humor! 🤩😊There was also a live band who makes the ambiance very good and cozy! Very affordable too!! Over all it was an excellent place to eat.😉PS: cleanliness is a must!!! And they clean their stuffs well. That’s a BIG PLUS! Relatively new, since 2018 and smart and clean.Good selection of food and drink and live music from guitar / singing duet.Prices are a bit higher than average as I guess you pay for the posher surroundings and the music.Only thing missing if they want to charge and operate at top-end of the market, is they should have free wifi.Apart from that, excellent staff and service.
