As long as I can remember, we always celebrate family occasions here. It’s good to know that we are still comfortable doing it here again. The deep fried pork hock will always be my favorite savory dish served here. Servings are reasonable. It is pricey but not bad. Service was great.

Everyone went out of their way to make this an outstanding visit! Bravo team Red Platter! The food, service, and ambiance (some pictures were a little tilted so my wife went OCD on them and straightened them up) were all amazing! Our awesome waiter Aaron brought each dish from the appetizers to the meal on to desert in perfect timing! This took excellent team work from back to front of the restaurant! Our waiter Aaron brought us water to go with our drinks and meal and refilled our water and helped us when we wanted to order Halo Halo even after our meals and cake were served. The guard even walked us to our car with an umbrella (not raining just sunny and helped us back out and even blocked traffic for us! This place is amazing! 100% recommend 👌 👏 👍 🙌 😎 😍

Surely a top resto in the area. Rivals Metro Manila Filipino food.Good food. great kare kare!! had more than i wanted to honestly. did not need bagoong at all.good liempo, good seafood pinakbet, good fresh buko and apparently, they had a very good cesar salad.disappointed though with their Bicol Express - was expecting it to be more spicy at the least and did not taste like the (homemade) Bicol Expresses given to me from Bicol.

The food here taste really great! One of the Naga's finest restaurants.

Birthdaday party for my daughter. Good food. We could not eat all so we had to take out. They have many different cakes. Nice and helpfull staff

James Jamir15:21 04/19/22
Love the food! Recipes are tried and tested, executed perfectly by the kitchen staff!Strongly recommend their Crispy Pasta! Crispy skin with the right amount of gelatinous layer beneath, with fork tender meat. The sauce it comes with, pushes the dish to the next level. I will definitely come back! 5 out of 5!Other dishes we ordered:Bicol express - This one's authentic, served in a small portion, more like a side dish. 4 out of 5.Camaron - This was so-so. 3 out of 5.Kare-kare - Flavor is okay but the beef tenderness isn't consistent. Bagoong it came with rates higher. 3 out of 3 for the combo.Beef nachos - It's simply nacho chips with beef and cheese, no fancy add ons here BUT it works. 3.5 out of 5.Other things to note: Service is courteous but takes awhile for food to get here (we did come during a busy dinner service).

Sabaw or broth should be free. Lots of it. The squid was tough but delicious. Paella did not taste the old fashioned way or not kapampangan. Ambiance was spectacular. They never tried to appease my request of a slice or even half of the pistachio sans rival. I don't want a whole cake. Well trained staff but the sans rival.

Yummy food in a cool place with friendly service! Thank you guys! On sone items like pizza 🍕 it is a good idea to order ahead 😀

Eizen Barleta04:51 04/11/23
A must-visit place in Legazpi, Small Talk is a locally renowned restaurant offering dishes with a unique Bicolano twist. My ultimate favorite was the Pinangat (Laing) Pasta; it was creamy and has the right level of spice. The chairs could’ve been comfier, but other than that, everything’s great. The staff was accommodating, the ambiance was inviting, and the prices are just right.

Fernan Mascarinas00:08 04/10/23
To sum up this review this early, I would say this is an enchanting place with good Bicol food and exemplary Bicolano hospitality.Since we arrived in Albay, I wanted to visit this place and dine. However, I had to postpone my cravings for two days due to the holidays—but the long wait was all worth it. During nighttime, the place transformed into a charming, tastefully-lit, orange-painted restaurant. It actually looked like a house converted into a diner, so you will instantly feel at home. The Ates/servers were eager to recommend their best-sellers without being too pushy. They recommended that we try their Spicy Pinangat, Peppery-hot Pinangat Pasta, Cordon Bleu, and Chocolate Mousse.I never liked Pinangat or Laing my whole life, but I enjoyed the resto's Spicy Pinangat. The Pinangat Pasta was the best of them all: spicy, creamy, and lightly-salted (I think the dried fish gave it a nice, extra savory taste). The Cordon Bleu was a close second and pretty standard, served with rice, mixed veggies, and the yummy mushroom soup. For the dessert, we initially thought of getting a slice of their mango cake, but we settled for the chocolate mousse which was also yummy. With all the fancy-looking interiors, tasty dishes, and good service, we thought the bill would be around ₱800-1000. Lo and behold, it was just ₱660! This restaurant deserved all the good hype and ratings for everything: price point, menu, service, and location/atmosphere. Came here around 6:30PM on a Sunday, and we got a table as soon as we arrived. If I get the chance to visit Legazpi City again, I will definitely return to Small Talk Cafe—an amazing place to dine with family, loved ones, and friends.

Homey and cozy! The food tastes delicious, and they feel like genuine Bicolano dishes. The food and vibes fit well together -- like you're visiting the house of a local relative or friend. The service is fast, and the servers are nice. The place looks a bit small, so it might get crowded during meal times. Just be careful when ordering red hot lava ice cream! It's really spicy, but worth a try and good for sharing!

My BL05:15 12/11/22
Great food. Homey feeling when you dine. Value for money 👌Serving is big. Location is along hi way, front of Ninong's hotel. Some viand are not available. No wheelchair access for SC/PWD and take 2 steps to restroom but staff are kind and very helpful.

Marissa Manalad08:08 10/21/22
Food was an infusion of bicolano food and other cuisines like the pasta pinangat (laing) and pasta bicol express we ordered (I recommend the bicol express 😉) Pili pie was a first for me as well. Ambiance is like an old house where a grandma typically is the star of the kitchen. However, service can still be improved for me as the one who served us looked like she was not enjoying what she's doing 😅

Food is great. Seafood mix is Kind of salty which I prefer but not recommended for those who doesn’t like to much salty flavor (u can taste more of the oyster sauce? than its natural flavor) Rice will compliment the taste.Prices are a little high…

Ems Tord12:37 02/06/23
will not recommend the place. visit the place lunchtime and not one diner to be seen except us. the overhype specialty chicken with coconut milk was hard and tough. I was expecting a smoky flavor, instead it taste as if it was sprinkled with powdered charcoal with tint of gasoline . The other 3 we ordered were just ok, nothing special about.

Villamor “Villy” Abad12:40 12/13/22
Food is great. They have a lot of food to choose from their menu which are unique. I like how they prepared the rice which is wrapped in banana leaves. The ambiance is good and they have a spacious parking space for guests. Maybe they shoud improve or renovate their comfort room so that the place will be more pleasing.

Best Pinoy Food in Legazpi City. Must try Seafoods Kare Kare , Sizzling mix seafood,Pako salad. Went there 2x.

Jett Mark Regencia13:23 08/16/22
To be honest i think the food here is great. The tinutongang manok was amazing. Tha chared flavor with coconut milk with a hint of vinegar. It was great. But the pinangat failed to meet my expectations. It was like a layer of gabi leaves poured with coconut cream. Not the taste i was looking for.Maybe and hoping that on my next visit. It will be a different experience.

Jun Cabrera04:56 12/26/20
When visiting the city of Legazpi make sure to dine at Sibid-sibid. Here you can taste all of the city's native dishes. Their dish mostly consist of seafood. Too bad for pork lovers though, because, according to the waiter, they don't have any pork dishes. But overall my belly is full, my cravings and curiosity is satisfied.

Amaazing food! The staffs are so friendly and kind. The food can’t get better and the prices are fair for the portion size. Always a great spot to get great food. Highly recommend for you to try the santol dish 🫶

Gerd Parlade (Gerd Martin Parlade)09:43 01/07/23
Despite the lack of signage for the restaurant, it has a nice, cozy, small, air-conditioned dining space near the entrance, plus the option of eating in the alfresco dining area. It's also good for private occasions and for medium-sized events with its open garden area. I love their Santol and also the coffee options in their café. A must visit.

First time here!! If you happen to be in the area, Naga City - you have to make sure you book yourself here. They have very good menu and super close to home cooked Bicolano dishes😋 You can see how nice the place is. I so like the ambience. They have good selection of wines too. This place is a must!😍

Best place to go is at night. The lighting is really good for picture taking. 😁Staff are nice and attentive. Comfort room is clean and with bidet!Best to make a reservation for sure tables and preferred spot.✅ Kinunot - yum!✅ Laing - authentic, just like how my mother makes it❌ Porchetta - didn't like it. Lacks flavor. Skin is too airy just like chicharon and not lechon✅ Leche flan - cheesecake-like❌ Garlic Rice - too oily and doesn't taste garlicky at all

Gemco Tiu15:04 04/23/19
It's been awhile since we dine again here. The foods are really tasty especially their porcheta. Their baby back ribs is so yummy as well as their Auntie's Chicken! And the place is just perfect to bring the whole family for dinner. With the crew who are fast to serve us of our needs its a cool place to dine with. With classical set up its really nice!

Perfect for family bonding. Loved eating here after being away from Bicol for so long. ♥️ Every bite tastes like home.

Dennis Vibandor15:56 11/17/22
Best place to try the best of Bicolano cuisine. Either dining with your friends or for the whole family. We tried the lumpiang laing. It was so good especially dipping it in coco milk catching the distinct bicolano taste. Sinabawang baboy is good with a balance taste of sour and a little bit spicy. Same with chopsuey it has a very distinct taste of sweet and sour added with the aroma of celery. For pan dolce, the frozen brazo de mercedes is superb. Not so sweet but you will love the taste of melting each layer in your palate...I highly recommend the place and will definitely return...

James Dylan11:34 08/30/22
Standard Filipino food, but certainly not "gourmet", as the name implies. Crispy Pata was chopped up and crispy, no complaints. Bicol Express was different than we've had before, authentic shrimp paste. Side of rice is a bit expensive at 55 peso ($1), since you can buy a kilo for that here. Sinigang was good, but not very sour. The soup is meant to be sour, but mine was kind of plain. My wife adds lemon juice and tamarind.Only complaint is that they are so incredibly cheap with the tissues! We spend 3000 peso and they don't put tissues on the table? They had some at the cashier area, but I had to go get them myself, and even then they were tiny and cheap and fell apart in your fingers. Never seen a "gourmet" restaurant not give guests decent tissues to wipe one's fingers and mouth, especially after eating crispy pasta with one's fingers. Come on, guys.Anyway, decent food, but nothing special. We will be back, but will bring wet-wipes since this place can't afford tissues.

Angelo Juan O. Ramos15:39 08/17/22
Tried out this place during a quick visit to Naga. Didn't disappoint! The laing was excellently prepared, and I enjoyed their take on Bicol Express with pineapples! A lovely, great-value Bicolano food experience.

Ronileen Bauto03:25 07/24/22
Prices are relatively fine. Laing was by far the best i have tried in Bicol region. I just wished they have classic laing (with out pineapples or cheese).Version of kinalas is good with big portion.Service needs improvement tho. We need to ask for ice, water, even tissue.

Apaul Fausto11:49 01/16/22
An All Filipino dish, more of the Bicol flavoring and new dishes such as Kinunot na Pating and Dry Laong Springrolls with gata dip...not impressive but a cuisine worth trying when in Naga...

Tried crispy pata on a number of restos in north and in metro but this is definitely one of the best I’ve ever had.Must try resto when you happen to pass by Naga city.

Jeff March04:00 01/31/23
I arrived with big expectations but left a little disappointed. The menu on google has been updated and the prices have changed. I’ll leave the photos here so you can see. I didn’t stay to listen to the live music but it’s still a great looking venue and staff were faultless. The food however on this visit anyway was a let down. I tried the veggie option- tofu sisig from the ‘sizzling’ section- It certainly wasn’t sizzling when it came to the table. It was bland and tasteless. The crispy Bicol express was ok- just ok and looked nothing like the picture on the menu. So for me it’s only a 3 star review for today

cuinn23:45 12/23/22
The food is yummy. People who smoke are not called out by the staff 🥺 band is ok.

Wendy Charlene Almasen14:15 05/16/22
First time in Naga. Workmates and I ate at Bob Marlin after work with their colleagues. We ordered crispy pata, bulalo, fish, pancit, and tofu sisig. The food is just divine. It's worth to stop by when you travel around the area. The location is easy access. There were a lot of people when we got there so parking was a bit confusing. Though my workmates who are based here in Naga said that the restaurant isn't that busy usually.Overall, this is a recommended place. 💕

Krystel Casipit05:49 10/05/21
Crispy pata was really good. It is a really great and safe place to stay especially now that we have pandemic because it is an open area. When it comes to parking, it would be hard to find one since the place seems to be a center for quality restos in the city. When you order, expect to wait for 15-20 minutes before serving. I think it is highly suggested to eat in group since most of their serving size is at least for 3 to 4 persons. Most of their main dishes are Filipino or Bicolano cuisines.

Brent Mosey11:30 11/04/19
Wow! The price was a little deceptive but in a good way. We figured we would get small dishes because it was so cheap. We ended up with a table full of food. The pata was awesome. The bitter vegetables were amazing. The pusit (squid) was delicious. The ambience is really nice. Great restaurant!

Delicious food but they were not kidding about the wait. We got the garden salad and the mango dressing was yummm. We had the veggie rolls because the Thai spring rolls ran out. Same with the pad Thai which we could smell was so good as the cook was preparing the last 4 orders. Lesson: make reservations and advance orders 🙂

For all the vegetarians out there, a visit to Green Earth Cafe in Naga City is an absolute must! 🌱 Their menu offers a delectable array of vegetarian dishes that will surely tantalize your taste buds. Yum!However, do note that their commitment to providing quality service may mean a bit of extra waiting time for your order. But trust me, it's well worth it!One helpful tip: If you plan on ordering a variety of dishes, including laing, I highly recommend requesting the laing to be served first. This way, you can fully enjoy the flavors and appetizing qualities of this dish without waiting for it at the end of your meal.Green Earth Cafe is a true gem for vegetarians, offering delicious and fulfilling meals that will leave you satisfied and wanting to come back for more. Green Earth Cafe, the first thing that comes to my mind is that, their main menus are teas, coffees, and more beverages that organics are related, but It wasn't what I expected. They serve a lot of healthy and organic based foods, and most of their food comes up with Tofu or what you call em' "tokwa" Nice place, clean and green. Recommended for vegetarian lovers!

Food costs an arm and a leg! Taste is okay but pretty expensive for the basic foods. NOTHING SPECIAL…Been to simple food chains to fancy restaurants but this is my first time experiencing in a restaurant —NOT offering a free water. Everything you have to pay for! Of course they are selling bottled water.

Sheila G14:13 05/18/23
Went here on a weekday to try their famous sili ice cream. I only tried level 1 since I'm not a fan of spicy food.It tasted great, very creamy and with just the hint of spiciness (like when you accidentally used your spoon to crush your chili and then use the same spoon to scoop some ice cream) will try the higher level next time.Staff is very accomodating and I was assisted in a timely manner

Kristal Lei Palomares Ginete05:25 04/06/23
Had mixed feelings about the food and service. It's disappointing that the restaurant didn't live up to my expectations when it comes to their signature dish, the Bicol Express. The small serving skze and serving the dish not hot was totally a let down. However, I enjoyed the Kandingga, which is Bicol's version of bopis. The Pasta Bicolana and Tinapa Fried Rice both received positive ratings for taste, but the fact that they were served not hot could be improved. It's also worth noting that the servings are only good for 1-2 people, which may not be ideal for those dining with a group. On a positive note, the ice cream flavors sound unique and delicious. It's definitely a must-try.Lastly, service is slow and it's a bit inconvenient that the restaurant only accepts cash and Gcash. It may be helpful for them to offer more payment options in the future to accommodate customers' preferences.Overall, it seems like there are some hits and misses at this restaurant. While it's good to try new things and support local businesses, it's important to manage our expectations and make informed decisions when dining out.

Liza Lakwatchera05:28 03/04/23
Home of Bicol's famous sili ice cream. Food tastes good, and the place is quite big. The service is so-so, and they don't provide service water, so you either purchase bottled water or other drinks like iced tea. We didn't try the sili ice cream in this branch, but we tried their malunggay ice cream and cacao ice cream, which are both intriguing.

Patria Carina Morente23:52 01/11/23
Honestly the food was just all right. The chicken was good enough to be considered comfort food. I’ve had better tinapa rice elsewhere.Didn’t get to try Bicol express because I don’t eat pork. The sili ice cream was an experience. I would come back for more if eaten with their cacao ice cream!

Villamor “Villy” Abad11:17 12/17/22
Food is good. Their malunggay shake is a must try. They have a lot of options of sili ice cream, no wonder that it's the original sili ice cream. Price is moderate. We had a great time dining in.

Hannah02:14 10/05/22
Overall food was decent. Fried chicken was delicious. Got the squid and it was way too chewy though. Give the chili ice cream a go, it’s fun to try. Service was quick.

Love the Pinangat and Shanghai. The Pinangat is bit sweet but it is tasty and good. The place is clean and quiet. I visited on a Monday though. The staff is also nice.

I was surprised, honestly. Haha. It was my first time and I learned that Geewan was literally just like a karinderya in an aircon venue. Same setup with the ordering and the displayed food is also the one you're getting. Nevertheless, we still enjoyed the food. They were really good, especially the kare-kare.

Geewan has been doing food business for a long time alreeady. They've been asking since the late 90s I think. Foods are superb and I like it because it brings out the "lutong bahay" taste and feel. Among my favorites are the kare-kare, pinangat, lumpia and of course halo-halo.

definitely NOT the genuine Bicolano cuisine if you are looking for the real deal. The ones found on the carenderias of Naga City are way, way better.

If you want to take pinangat or any Bicolano dishes home or as pasalubong, you can buy it frozen at Geewan RestaurantMore on IG @mangan.pasyar.stories

Great comfortable food and place to try Bicolano dishes. But it isn't mainly composed of bicolano food, they have chopsuey, meat balls as well. I like their Lomi especially mixed with calamansi, their siopao is big too and filled with chunky meats and lastly their buko shake, it has gulaman in it, it all tastes good, keep it up Geewan👍

Yummy Bicolano food!!! Pinangat, seafoods, vegetables... 🙂 Just be careful with the spoons and forks as well as the glasses... 😁

I went here a couple of times na so here are my notes on my experience:1. The guard outside gives u an umbrella if it's raining so that's good.2. Sometimes the place is filled with mosquitos, including the kitchen. No one likes that.3. Most of the food I tried are good. I love Japanese food. But some are hit or miss.

There is a need for a reservation and we're glad that the mobile number here on google maps is still active and even though we inquired the night of the previous day, they still replied fast and got our reservation. We were the first ones there at 10 am

A very classy dining experience with great ambiance perfect for family gathering and other celebrations. One thing I noticed since we came in to the place is that the staff were really accommodating and service was really quick. They have a huge selection of Bicolano-Tabaco delicacies, though a but pricey but it was worth it. Chef Aya Medel was also there and we can see her preparing some of the dishes.

So far so good and I hope I coud've tasted their japanese menus more. The lechon kawali was really tasty and good, the chicken was just okay also, hindi nakakasawa. I forgot and got lazy to take photo of the pork tonkatsu since it was served a little bit late when we are already eating, it was crispy and fine, but a bit overwhelming to taste buds specially with those sauce with mayo. The salmon soup was also great, but nothing unique, just the typical soup you can add to your order. The california maki was also good, but didnt surprised me since I already tasted those kind of food before. The place was just fine, the venue was an open area, they have a creative surroundings where you can take picture of and a fresh air to breathe, it's more of a reception-based venue to me or where you can accomodate big groups of people and hosts an event or occassions.

Came here for the second time around. Their dining area was moved to the garden styled green house-esque edifice that felt like a wedding reception was such a cool place to eat. We had chicken teriyaki, kani salad, nasi goreng and seafood ramen. The first two were excellent. The latter two were meh. Overall, it was still a great place to dine with loved ones, friends and family.

This is the family's first time dining in this restaurant. We ordered 2 orders of Yang Chow fried rice, Beef Caldereta and Pork Tonkatsu. It was a nice experience having my family eating here together. In tasting the food, I still prefer the original Tokyo Tokyo in Pork Tonkatsu, you will be served with 2 big parts of pork but the taste is just ordinary fried pork. Moreover in the sauce, and the portion of veggies...too little of a serving. In caldereta, I even more prefer the Lydia's. It has little taste of caldereta sauce and cheese, it doesn't have a chili thing which I usually like to taste. In totality, I would say that Ishiaya's is right to the community close to it...but if you're after the palatibility of the food and your satisfaction then better find even better doning restos near your place. But the service is great enough. You are well assisted by the staff and crews.
