We visited on Father’s Day and the place was jam packed but we were seated immediately. We ordered their quarter chicken with mac and cheese on the side (via birthday treat using supercard), baby backribs and salted egg chicken skin. The chicken was cooked well, juicy and flavorful and the portion is quite big while the ribs was fall off the bone tender and has a nice charred smoky flavor to it. The mac and cheese on the other hand was okay but it could be better. But what we like most about our experience was their many variations of sauces which complements well with the food. Our favorite was the spiciest sauce (i forgot the name) as it was barbecue-y tangy and more heat than your typical tabasco hot sauce. I personally like their two sauces which tastes gingery but have slightly different flavors while the other ones we tried, like the bbq and teriyaki sauce, as well as the one that’s like mayo but reddish, were also good. We do recommend their spiciest sauce out of all their sauces.With regard to the service, it was great to excellent during our visit. Because it has been recommended in the reviews and so we got curious, we ordered the salted egg tofu. Kinda different but not exceptional. For me, I like the lechon macau a lot and fish fillet with bean curd and black beans. And, The siomai too.The space is quite small but I was surprised that it was full on a weekday lunch and at 11:30am at that. My fave was the huge steamed fish which was so light and soft. I'm happy that they didn't get heavy on the salt for the dishes. They were also quick to refill. Selections during our visit included Filipino staple food like pancit canton, yang chow, sweet and sour pork, fried chicken, lumpiang shanghai, chopsuey, steamed fish in light soy sauce, and nido soup. They also had maki, asado siopao, pork siomai, small slices of sponge cake (yum) , maja blanca (meh!), puto, tiny cupcakes, fruits, coffee jelly (yum), buko pandan (meh), sesame balls, coconut balls, macaroni salad, and vegetable salad. You may order drinks separately.The staff were nice. The guard immediately assisted us in parking our car. Payment was cash only and was collected once we were seated.There was only one rest room each for male and female but thankfully, it was clean.
