Ordered coffee, I waited for more or less 10 minutes for a single coffee. They don't want to use paper cup unless it is for take out. They use plastic mug and don't have fresh milk ☹️

Topped my order with a large orange juice. When served, the glass was 3/4 full of ice. Asked politely if they could reduce the volume of ice because I have pharyngitis. The server said this was standard. Now I'm in pain and lost my voice due to the volume of ice. Now that's care from McDonald's!

He came back and gave the bill to my husband who was busy on his phone. Ako humingi tpos sa k jim ibibigay bill? Mukha bang di ko kaya mgbyad o feeling na tingin nila taga bayad ung puti at ako bitbit na pinay na syota ng puti na palibre. My husband asked him to give it to ME. I just got it and clipped the money. Twag ko ulit si waiter and gave it to him. He returned later with the change and gave it back to my husband who was still on the phone Abaaaa bakeet? Amazing BBQ ribs at a price that can't be beat. Sides are fantastic too. Try the garlic spinach and mushroom. They usually have a NBA game on TV as well. Highly recommended

During latest visit (July 21, 2023), food were cold when served. Rice were not readily available. Too long waiting period for food to be served. Management needs to reasses quality of service to customer and perhaps reorient crew. Having second thought on recommending the place to my fellow roadtrip enthusiasts due to recent bad experience. A disappointed with the quality of service.

Based on our Baler tour we stopped by here and have lunch.. we have an awesome experience because the food are good and very simplistic but delicious and have nice atmosphere especially in the second floor you will see the sierra madre mountains and the downtown baler

Food set is not really that good. Everything's ordinary and viands are those we typically cook at home. The place is so crowded. The buffet table is poorly located by the restaurant entrance making it too crowded for both customers going inside and those lining up for the food.Seafood and other grilled dishes can be ordered seperately.

We dined here for brunch before heading back to Manila and because it’s just few steps away from where we stayed. I ordered the Tomato and Basil pizza enough for our group to share and takeaway leftovers. Most of the dishes our group ordered were good for 2-3 persons.Restroom was clean. Staff were accommodating.

This is one of the very few restaurants in Baler that has AC and serves really good food! Many restos which previously had good reviews are actually already closed or must not have been able to maintain their quality due to low tourist turnout. Kubli Bistro was our last stop in our 4-day trip, and it did not disappoint! The service was also excellent with highly attentive staff. Top reco for Baler 👍

This is one of the must try restaurants in Baler. There is a reason it's always at the top of Baler tour lists. The food, especially the chicken parmigiano, is so delicious.It easily exceeds expectations for several items of the menu. The mango shake is so nice. We hope that they open up a Metro Manila branch soon so that we can try them again :D. This is the kind of food you come back to over and over, plus they also have live acoustic nights so that's a plus on the ambience.The staff were also very friendly. Service was fast and responsive.

First time here in Baler. we ordered and had Fajitas for appetizer, then Kubli Rice, Stuffed Squid, Pinakbet for the main course. The food we had was really delicious. Staff were very accommodating. the live band singer was also good.

Went because it had best reviews on google. Food did not disappoint. Would be best to book a table beforehand as it gets very busy past 7pm. Highly recommend their chicken basil and green papaya salad. Just to note, they do charge 10% service charge which is mandatory as we did ask but we didnt mind because food and staff were good.

Best restaurant in Sabang. Great food, great ambiance, enough parking, and great staff!The buffalo wings are small but good tasting!The sisig is soooo goooodThe fish and chips was also greatAnd the fresh lumpia is good.We also went there for dinner and it was full of family with kids and loud barkadas so it was noisy, the sound bounced everywhere so beware if you want a quiet dinner.

One of my favorite restaurants in Baler, Aurora. Quality of food is consistent 👌 And it tastes good!! Green papaya salad and pizza are some of my favorites. The place is air-conditioned as well. And they have parking too!

Coming in, I did not expect a lot from this restaurant. But our dining in here has easily become one of the highlights of our trip. We ordered Spanish Gambas, Fern (Pakô) Salad, and Grillied Liempo. I can say that all dishes tasted great and beyond what we were expecting. The serving was so generous we can’t believe they’re priced so cheaply (please don’t change!) The ambiance is what you’d normally get in grill/bar restaurants and the servers are so hospitable to accommodate our requests and extra orders.One thing to note: We came in at around 5:45, before dinner time so there was literally no line. Long line is usually what other people are complaining about but it might really be a matter of timing.Don’t miss when you’re in Baler.

Dined here last June 2023, and it was a lively place and packed to the rafters.Getting a table was hard and very much a waiting game.Food is good - and the prices are very friendly.Tried the Baler Pares and Pork Sisig and a couple of ice cold San Mig Lights.Good place to have dinner in Baler, but come early to get a table especially for big groups.👍👍👍👍

We just finished eating here and I'm too giddy to write asap how I love ate by the counter who was all smiles and her vibe was infectious. She was too warm that I almost ordered crabs on top of what I wanted but I had to stop myself because I wouldn't able to eat it.I just have to point out since three tables did it. Maybe put corkages on outside food? One table had food baon, one had liquor baon and one had dessert! For your business's safety

Food is delicious, and affordable (lke most places in Baler). It would make for a great family restaurant except the music can be too loud.We were served a bowl of sinigang where the bowl had a hole in it so most of the soup just dripped down the table. Other than that, service is good.Order the grilled pusit (perfectly grilled, super soft yet smoky!) and the pork bbq.

Stopped here for lunch on a weekend. Food is FANTASTIC and the servers were very attentive. If you are wanting all of your ordered food to arrive all together for a family meal, this is not the place for you. They serve the food as it comes off the grill, so we had about 15 minutes between the manok, pusit and tuna. All of them were so good.

Went here last Nov of 2022 and we had a great time! The place is perfect for good food and drinks. The ambiance is perfect at night. We stayed until closing and the staff weren't rushing us at all they let us take our own time. We ordered several cocktails and buckets of beers. It was lovely there. Location is perfect too just beside big hotels down there. One of our go to place in baler.

Had our dinner here to celebrate my first daughter birthday, food is good, but the service is so bad, they serve the food so late that our food is already cold, we ordered the mango shake, we already finish our supper still they don't make it, they can just tell to us that they don't know or no one can make that shake, upon paying i see a bunch of mango shake, thats why i don't see any reason why they don't served it, we even follow up many times they just answer, "ginagawa na mam" waitress is rude. i think management need to do something about this, good restaurant like this should have a polite and accommodating staff.

this place gets really crowded and you have to wait more than a hour in line just to order during rush hours, lunch or dinner time. for me overrated and when there's to much crowd food quality is compromised.they specialize on bbq/grilled seafood which to me is just okay, tried liempo in 5 spices which was disappointing, tuna was dry and overcooked ( maybe not fresh/frozen), same with the squid ( was not fresh, cooked frozen maybe). the ferm-mango-salted egg salad looked really nice but perhaps was not added a dressing to bind the salad together. i could be wrong or maybe went on a bad day.servings are good for sharing (2-3 persons).the design and interior of this resto are amazing.

The restaurant has one sitting on a bamboo floor barefoot. The staff are warm and friendly. The food itself is unbalanced, particularly the liempo and paco salad, erring on too sweet. When you go, for sure order the dinakdakan and the calamansi juice, which has a touch of turmeric in it.

Grabe, sobrang sarap dito. Best food we tasted in Baler. They offer Filipino dishes in dahon ng saging and you eat it barehand while sitting on a bamboo floor. 5 stars for the concept as it really gives you a unique dining experience.The serving time is quite long but definitely worth the wait. We liked everything we ordered. The pako salad is sweet pero hindi nakakaumay. It was a good appetizer while we wait for the other food. We also got longganisa, liempo and dinangdang. The longganisa is okay but nothing special. For the liempo, I usually don't eat the balat but damn, I left no trace here! The dinangdang was very good too!We will definitely come back here when we visit Baler again!

The food was just ok. A bit ordinary with ok presentation. You will eat without your shoes so that the floor where you sit will stay “clean”, they will serve your food in just banana leaves and no utensils even if you request(maybe to lessen operation cost - dishwasher, utensils, water etc), then you clean up after you eat which is ok since our family does that whenever we eat in fast food but the big turn down for me is the place itself. They failed to maintain the place and its surroundings as you can see in the pictures. Their concept has potential I think they just failed to execute it properly. One may think that the food is not clean if the place looks like this. Not for “maseselan”. I hope they improve it.

A hidden gem in Baler. Love this authentic Filipino restaurant where you get to eat food served on banana leaves while sitting on the floor on a low table. Ditch the cutlery and eat with your hands to make the experience more authentic! I recommend their delicious Wapang Wapang Liempo matched with BTK and Pako Salad. Never leave Baler without trying this place!Suggestions to the owner: (1) Allow additional orders from seated guests and let them pay later. It's a hassle to get up just to get extra rice or drinks. (2) You might want to check the cleanliness of the neighboring property.

What an awesome find! Food brings you back to basic, no utensils, no plates. Food is ethereal! Liempo cooked just right, sweet and flavourful. Paco salad is crunchy with the right ingredients to bring out its awesome flavour! Dinakdagan crunchy and savoury! Highly recommended, when in Baler you have to dine here!

Went here on a Tuesday morning. This is one of the few places here in Baler where you can eat very early in the morning. Place is not that crowded. We ordered Tapsilog and Tortasilog. One of the best tapa I tasted. Generous servings. Too bad fried rice is not yet available and we settled for the steamed rice. Overall, we enjoyed our breakfast here.

I rarely give low reviews and I try as much as possible to see anything redeeming in places I eat. That said, even for Php 250 per person, the food here is not worth the visit. Almost every one of the "20 dishes" except the non-fried desserts and soups are greasy and had that quality that was obviously reheat from a previous meal.Of note about cleanliness: they covered the food with cellophane instead of the usual metal covers for the chafing dishes. This would be admirable if it weren't for the fact that large flies managed to get inside and were having the time of their lives in the fried chicken.Now, you'd think, maybe at Php 250, you're expecting too much? Maybe it was a slow day? Maybe you're not the kind of customer Gerry Shan's place is looking for.1. Maybe2. We ate dinner the day after Independence Day when the tourists had zerg rushed out of Baler.3. That's patronizing. Maybe don't insult budget travelers.Avoid this place. Obvious tourist trap.

Cheap buffet, Great to eat when it's dinner, of course it's cold since it's buffet but all taste great! I really loved the ensalada and the laing, the fried chicken is good and I was surprised with freshly cook calamari that night weighted I think 10 kilo of it. lot's of seafood but the shrimp so small. dessert very good. Soup is warm atleast. It's cheap so expect it to be cold dishes, don't be dumb.

(Maybe even better!)Well, all we had was a typical spaghetti, sweet and sour fish fillet, and chicken fillet with rice, and the fillets we got was really good, not to mention the fish I had was both fresh and crispy, and did not have any ounce of saltiness but a subtle flavor of fish that went well with my simple sweet & sour sauce sans the usual ingredients, (which would have made my fillet better).Spaghetti on the other hand was nice too, reminded me of Jollibee, a bit too sweet for my taste as usual, but for its price, not bad.

Each order is good for two - three persons. The buffet is not available when we visited the restaurant (November 2016) but as expected the food is good. What I do not like in this restaurant is there is no parking and lots of people are coming with vehicle. It is near the Sabang beach. Almost perfect for me, it's just that having no parking in a restaurant is kinda hassle but no bias review I gotta give two thumbs up for the food.

We had our vacation in Baler and was curious to try this cafe because of so many good reviews. This is located along Poblacion, Baler. Place has both indoor and outdoor seating. Menu selection is just right for a cafe.We had the Salted Caramel latte, Americano and Blueberry cheesecake. Their coffee tastes really good. The Blueberry cheesecake is one of the best that I've tried so far. Price point is just right considering the quality. The pastries and cakes are a bit cheaper compared to Metro Manila. Parking is available in front of the cafe. I'll definitely visit again if we go to Baler next time. I want to try the other drinks and cakes. Highly recommended for those craving for coffee and cake while touring Baler.

Still the best cafe in Baler for me.Service, they assist as requested no probs.Food is the reason why you will come here again and again.Atmosphere, it lacks in space but it doesn't bother me when I get my coffee/food here ✅✅✅

It’s not the most “aesthetic” place but their food is really good! The ice on their frappes are so finely blended and fluffy. Their salted caramel is too salty for my taste. Their red velvet cheesecake is da bomb. Good place to get no frills affordable but delicious coffee. They have a big parking space, but I wish they had bike racks.

Yet pricey but the menu's are great. If you are looking for place to drink coffee in Baler, this is one of the place you need to visit and hey malakas ang aircon dito though wala silang free wifi, But still this is a place to chillax or place to read, sip and dine.

Food was good and the serving is good for 2-3pax so we had some leftovers which we took out.We ordered mojos for appetizer and it was a lot! Nothing special with the taste; the breading and dip (mayo and ketchup) was typical. I didn't expect the seafood pasta to be sooo spicy (i have slightly low tolerance to spicy food) but it tasted good! Their pizza had a bread (not pizza dough) texture but it tasted okay.

We waited for 3 hours just to know that some of our orders are not available. Drinks were served after 2 hours. Poor services as well when it come to cleanliness and employee to customer relationship. I do not recommend this place if you’re going to Baler.

If you are looking for bulalo in baler, this place serves a big bowl of beef bulalo!Mapapa sutsot ang buong pamilya cuz it's for sharing! I enjoyed all the food that we ordered for 2 days dinner.

Horrible place. We waited 2 hours for our food. By the 1.5 hr mark is only when they served the juice pitchers we ordered. 15 mins after the juice, they told us 2 of the dishes we ordered weren’t available so we changed them. 15 mins later they serve our food and waited for the rest. When we followed up, that’s the only time they told us 2 other dishes that we ordered weren’t available and they can’t serve it anymore. The food wasn’t even that good. Do not eat here. Do not get fooled by the illusion that they have a lot of customers.

Almost 2 hrs waiting time. Queue is not properly managed. We were next in line but the other waiter had another party take our spot. Other guests started leaving because they could not handle the waiting time anymore. Kitchen also messed up the orders, so guests that arriver later were served first.Food is not good (pizza, chicharon bulaklak, nido soup, spicy pasta). Carbonara was good though.

Their food is good and the place is perfect for big groups. Their crispy squid sisig is good as others have mentioned haha, the price is sulit for the serving too. The serving time takes a while though even if there's not much customers in the resto.

I liked the Hungry Surfer ambiance but they couldn't deliver our order. We specifically came for grilled seafood but eventually it apparently ran out. The waiter came back to us 3 times saying they ran out of food to cook which led us changing our order to something completely different than what we started with. It was busy on a weekday but still, the whole thing left me disappointed.

Food and drinks are great! Especially the margarita with less alochol (by request).The serving is for 3-4 people and the crispy pusit sisig is to die for! We also love the garlic chicken. 😊One disappointing moment was when we came back to eat breakfast at 11AM and waited for the cook to arrive for like 40 min. only to find out that the food we ordered wasnt even available.
