Great place to chill, swim. Drinks and food available

A good and simple place to chill out and swim on the lake in Zurich

Koen De Crock09:05 06/13/23
Very popular (maybe too popular), and probably the best lake pool (Badi) in Zürich. The building and the amenities are a bit old and run down, but the view from the Badi, the easy access to the lake, the good drinks and great food, the awesome coffee and croissants in the morning and the general atmosphere more than make up for this. Usually quiet in the mornings until 11:00. Can be extremely busy in the afternoon, but again quiets down after 8PM, which honestly is the best time for a swim when the lake temperature allows it. I wish less people knew about this place, since I wish it was my own little piece of heaven.Has a mixed and a women only side. This might seem weird for some people, but in Zürich this is completely normal. During the summer and winter months they also have an awesome sauna service.

Hue Tran20:33 05/29/23
Get here early to get a spot, but definitely a great Badi to just come chill, jump in the lake, and get drinks! Tip: you can bring your own drinks and food in 👍🏼

Laura Karaliute22:46 03/24/23
Calm and chill place, really nice view. Might be tight if there are full capacity. Worth a visit.

it's very idyllic and interesting spot.nice for taking friends there on a holiday visit.you can't bring your own drinks, not even water. water is a human right, as long as you can afford it 🤪. i always love to see Berliners toe the line between socialism and capitalism!for the few extremely hot days of the year.. definitely a cool unique place in Berlin to see and cool off.and definitely book in advance to avoid disappointment.one great thing is they've got chairs for free. somehow I thought you'd have to pay.pool was quite cold towards end of the day so we didn't stay long in there. I think since the war started, they've scaled back heating. nice sitting spots on the edge of the pool, but still was too chilly in the end.I think I would maybe come back with visitors from time to time, but with the amount of rules and planning needed, it will be seldom.most times going to a lake with your own beers and freedom to do anything will be the best in my view.

George H15:06 07/16/23
An interestingly curious concept. You book a two hour time slot and then expected to pick up your stuff and leave. It's almost not worth it if you want to chill for the day like at a normal lake. The place is clean and had drinks and "snacks". However when i was there they were out of two types of beer, had no snacks in stock. If you're interested in swimming in a pool in the river, go for it, but that's about it.

Eylül Akar08:23 05/29/23
Really nice atmoshpere with good design and good music! Music is not loud and only at the bar part which is much better for a relaxing day. Was also clean everywhere. Definitely will visit many more times this summer!

Martijn Proper07:21 08/26/22
This place is brilliant! You can register for one (or more) two hour blocks , tickets were really cheap but sold out in five minutes. There's a little beach, the pool is cold and deep, the people are pretty and the location is hip. Be there, or be □.

Jon Fitch13:40 08/09/22
Very cool spot in Berlin to cool down.Make sure to book in advance and also arrive early so you get a good pick of the seats, you can book two sessions in a row to make the most of it.Morning session is much calmer than the afternoon.Lockers are convenient and also drinks are priced around what you'd expect.

First I booked the hotel 3 months in advance. We got the room that was different from what was in the picture. We asked for a change but were asked to add an additional fee. The receptionist was demonstrably impatient when we were asked to choose the dishes for dinner. The spa is not organized, the saunas are illogically scattered. At breakfast we asked for an omelette with cheese, onion and after. We got an omelette with ham. and in the second instead of onion and mushrooms. Price per night is not justified!!!!

We loved absolutely everything about this hotel/resort - from the ski in ski out to the service provided by all the staff to the delicious food. With the added bonus of a relaxing swimming pool and spa centre. The whole experience was luxurious. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning. Thank you

Kaz 1917:52 02/05/23
We've only eaten and drink in the place ,so I can tell you only about these things-Kaiserschmarren was very good ,staff was OK, music too loud apres ski , Ican recommend the place for a short pause during skiing in Dreu Zinnen

Isabella VL19:13 10/07/22
Very nice spa! When we came it was not too packed (end of September), I even had the outdoor pool all to myself for quite a while. The water temperature was great for cold weather. There are lots of activities to enjoy and cute little snacks.

Kristina Gondova19:48 09/10/22
We did not stay at the hotel, but visited its Day Spa. And it was absolutely amazing. The spa is gorgeous. It includes an outdoor and indoor pool as well as 6 different saunas, sulphur cold pool, beautiful relaxation areas an much more. It’s an incredible value for money. The staff is nice and attentive. I went to two sauna ceremonies led by Charly (who is leading many experiences at the hotel) and they were some of the best I ever had. My warm recommendation. I’m sure the hotel is amazing to stay at as well.

Amazing location! Great services and great SPA! All I needed for a long weekend!

Anthony Payne10:09 03/04/23
A great stay. The hotel is perfectly located in the centre of Ortisei. The bar is great for a drink pre or post dinner. The Spa is absolutely superb, with special mention of Alesandro who does a specialist sauna experience which is great. All in all a very good time was had by all and we will certainly return both to Ortisei and to Hotel Adler

Yet another fantastic experience offered by this wonderful hotel! The location is ideal for skiing and the spa very big.

Jeanne Neylon Decker (Traveltawk)02:03 01/05/23
Everything from the rooms, the restaurant, the spa, activities and the staff is superb! We have stayed at Adler Dolomiti twice and Adler Balance once and loved them both. Rooms are spacious, very comfortable and well-appointed--we had a balcony overlooking the grounds and spectacular mountains at both properties which are linked by an underground passage. The breakfast and lunch buffets are amazing with something for every taste. The breakfast is a bit more extensive at the Adler Dolomiti but there's plenty to choose from at the Balance, too. The kitchen at both can pack a lunch for you at an extra charge. Dinners are a gourmet affair at both properties with attentive service and excellent wine service. The spa is incredible-- the saunas, pools, salt grotto, jacuzzis all inviting and perfect after a day of hiking. We booked several massages and the Tibetian Sound Bath, too-- so soothing! Activities like daily guided hikes and e-bike tours are also included. We hiked somewhere new everyday with Alexander, Pauli or Thaddeus-- all local, knowledgeable guides who add an extra element of fun to the hikes. There are also yoga and fitness classes-- really something for everyone. The staff is also incredibly helpful and kind. We can't wait to return!

Everything is perfect about this place. The staff was so friendly and kind. The food is in incredible and the location. Just a short walk to the Seceda lift to one of the most breathtaking views you can ever imagine.

Intimate and alternative place, surrounded by greenery. Simple but super refined furnishings, friendly atmosphere that makes you feel at home. Carefully selected menu that varies every week, immediately gives the idea of freshness. Possibility to make menus or to choose individual dishes. We loved it, genuine and delicious dishes (space appetizers). Times a bit long, but probably due to a too busy evening. An authentic vegetable cuisine in a mountain environment (finally!!!). Super recommended!

Super cute and cozy place with delicious vegan food! We spent the entire afternoon there in the sun reading, enjoying kombucha followed by some nice wine! Dinner was served inside by the fireplace. The food was delicious especially the vegan brownies! Amazing services including the cute cats accompanying us for dinner 🙂

Giselle Kilvert08:20 07/28/23
Beautiful setting, pleasant staff, simple accommodation in need of upgrade. My husband, two young children and I recently holidayed here for 3 weeks in the Summer. Overall it was a pleasant place to stay, and a fair option for families wishing to explore Tuscany. The accommodation is very simple. It is difficult to determine from the resort’s website the character and qualities of each farmhouse, of which there are 12 in total across the estate. Most of the farmhouses are divided into smaller apartments, the number and size of which are also not apparent on the resort’s website (clearer descriptions would be useful). Some of the farmhouses also have separate detached dwellings available.Originally, we were booked into Il Castellare complex, but soon switched to a room in the Campiano complex (after complaining of the first apartment’s stale cigarette odour) without issue – the staff were very accommodating. While the two farmhouses looked similar online, our apartment at Campiano was much larger, we found the aspect and amenity much nicer, and it had a small playground for the children.Other travellers may benefit from calling reception in advance of booking to discuss which farmhouse and accommodation option would best suit their preferences. Bear in mind that sounds travel and occupants of apartments on ground level may experience noise disturbance (eg. chairs scraping on tiled floors) from apartments above, as was our case. The resort was generally well run, although there were several minor maintenance issues – plastic recycling bins regularly at capacity, poor drainage in shower and hand basin (despite request for assistance), pool chlorine levels too high.Linen and towels are changed weekly but no other cleaning service or products (aside from a dishwasher) is provided to guests. All groceries will need to be purchased - even basics like salt and pepper are not provided. Disappointingly, there was only a single working washing machine available for guests’ use on the entire estate, at a cost of €5 per cycle, and it was located away from any farmhouse, with no shaded place adjacent to sit and wait. So, guests should prepare to hand wash their clothes in the kitchen sink. Drying racks are provided in each apartment.Provisions for cooking are adequate. Showers are tiny with inconsistent flow/heat. Wifi is patchy and regularly drops out. Mattresses and couches call for upgrade, as neither are supportive or particularly comfortable. There are no smoke detectors indoors. To contact reception, you must personally attend their office at the center of the estate.Nonetheless, we were able to enjoy ourselves. The surrounding countryside for the entire estate is very beautiful and makes up for a lot.Our children, 4 and 6 years, enjoyed the staff and activities available at the resort’s Mini Club, which included clay modelling, wood working, theatre and alabaster carving (at a cost of €25 per child per day, including lunch). The hours of care were conveniently longer than those described online – 9am to 4pm most weekdays in Summer. With its assistance, my husband and I were able to explore several nearby towns (Luca, Pisa, San Gimignano, San Miniato) together, without youngsters’ complaints. There were also some amusements for the children within fair driving distance, including the Castelalfi Adventure Park and Pinnochio Park at Collodi. The resort’s restaurant and bar had a very pleasant amenity, and the staff were always friendly, attentive and helpful. The main bartender took pride in his mixology, and his drinks were impressive, although the other food, which was often served as a buffet, was mediocre.Overall, we were satisfied with our stay and would suggest, but not necessarily recommend, it to others.

for 850€ for 7 nights in House Fornacethe reality matched the presentation on their Website.solid, clean and authentic. do not expect special luxury in the flats.the superior 1 bedroom flat was app. 40-50qm 2 toilets, but a very small shower.kitchen is basically equipped.for the horse people: make sure to book your rides early in advance. Due to high interest and the consecent high standards, the availabilty is limited.you meet horse people there. the horses are in a really good shape, well trained and not numbed or exploited.I had a mix of lessons and ride outs. every action and all lessons I took and watched were absolute individual offer for the single rider. no group lessons, unless a family said, that they want to ride together.price is absolutely fair, taking these aspects into Account.

Menzie M07:10 10/04/22
We stayed for one week and I wouldn’t recommend that place for an extended stay. From the website with the beautiful pictures and a touch of „luxury“, the expectations where quite high, but it’s very different from what you really get.The apartments are worn down with old and uncomfortable beds, you get one set of towels and one tea towel for an entire week and need to buy everything else for the kitchen. Every Airbnb I’ve stayed in had better equipment. In one week, we had two times no warm water and two times a wedding/party with loud music deep into the night in the nearby restaurant - and loud construction works early in the morning. We weren’t warned about that and I don’t understand why they didn’t put the wedding guests in the houses nearby and the other guests further away. The first apartment we got reeked of cold cigarette smoke, it was absolutely disgusting, and had a broken shower. As a „superior“ apartment, it was tiny. The two rooms are in reality one bedroom and another room that is entrance, kitchen and living room all in one.I have to say that the staff was nice about it and immediately gave us another apartment, but they shouldn’t rent out that horrible apartment for >100 €/ night in the first place!Altogether, this could be a really beautiful place, but it needs thorough renovations and a lot more care about the houses and the customers. We surely won’t come back and won’t recommend this place.

D L17:05 09/15/22
Accomodation very good and views are spectacular. Food at breakfast buffet was very basic but the Dinner in the evening in the restaurant was top class. Only downfall of the accomodation is lack of plug sockets in kitchen and lack of mirrors.

Ida Lærke13:03 07/19/22
We had a beautiful view of the Tuscan hills and a magnificent sunset. But the place was worn down and needed some love. Table and chairs in the outdoor areas was Old and in poor plastic quality. The area is fantastic, but next I will choose another place to Stay.

⭐️ STUNNING LOCATION, DRAMATIC SCRNERY, PURE RELAXATION & TOTAL LUXURY ⭐️Those were my main impressions when staying at Vidor family wellness resort. I couldn't have asked for anything more.Set in a valley surrounded by luscious greenery and dramatic crumpled slopes with multiple peaks sits the beautiful Vidor Family Wellness resort. A resort that the whole family can enjoy by relaxing and unwinding whilst breathing in only the purest quality freshest air. It doesn't matter how active you are, there is something for everyone. We stayed in one of their Nature Lodges that are set back and situated on a hill on the edge of woodland. A luxurious wooden cabin with everything you would need for a self catering holiday. Intrinsically designed with no space left unused, these cabins are spectacular! Our 2 bedroom cabin never made us feel like we were cramped or on top of each other. We stayed in Nature Lodge number five. A two bedroom cabin that was the second to last cabin set in a row of six on the hillside. When arriving you are able to drive directly up to the front of the cabin to unload your car and then park only thirty meters away in the dedicated parking for those cabins.First impressions for the Nature Cabins was impressive. A large veranda with sunbeds, umbrella and a table and chairs for Al fresco dining. The cabin looks large and glass fronted with three patio doors. One for each bedroom and one is the front door. To enter the cabin you need to use your key card to unlock the door and once inside to the left hidden behind the blackout curtains is the electricity card slot that you need to slot your key card inside. I thought I'd mention this as it took us a while to find the slot (and so did our neighbours as they asked us for help in how to get the electricity working). From the front door you walk straight into the livingroom with a modern fully kitted out kitchen including a dishwasher, cooker top with four electric rings and hood, a microwave and cupboards with everything you would need in them for cooking and tableware for meals.Lovely surprise were two tote bags left for us with inside a dressing gown for each of us and a pair of crocs each to use around the resort. All guests walking around the resort who had been using the wellness center were all walking around in their cozy bathrobes. There is a comfortable large sofa that also doubles up as a sofa bed and a large dining table with storage under the bench. Just of the living room is the toilet with a storage cupboard where you will find the washing line, things to clean with but most importantly the cabins electrical cupboard where you can control the cabins underfloor heating and heating. I thought this was also important to mention as we stayed there mid summer and we spent some time searching how to turn off the underfloor heating because it got too hot in the cabin. One we found how to do it, it is clearly labelled in the cupboard of the toilet.Another thing I don't want to forget to mention is not to leave the toilet window open as we soon found the a couple of birds had flown in and we had some fun trying to get them out. There is the option to turn the window handle the opposite way and only open the window at the top.Off either side of the cabin are the bedrooms, both identical with a doublebed (or twin beds) a shower, sink, wardrobe and Smart TV. The large patio door opens up onto the veranda. The bedrooms a beautifully furnished to fit in with the theme of The Nature Lodge and the views are just spectacular especially lying in bed in the morning with your coffee looking out to the most incredible dramatic view of monstrous crumpled mountainsides.I can only imagine how beautiful the setting would be mid-winter with all the snow. A perfect choice for accommodation on a skiing holiday. It's one of those resorts where you can ski everywhere

Mihai Lefter12:25 07/31/23
It was the best camping in which we stayed so far. It has a very nice setting with a fabulous view of the Rosengarten group. The aquapark was very good to recover after a mountain hike.

Basia Krakowian16:09 07/12/23
We stayed in El Sangon (apartment A7) The apartment is located in the village rather than in the camping itself. It's on the ground floor and it's dark even during sunny day. The kitchen and the living room need some refreshing (especially the furniture). However, the most serious problem was that we discovered some bed bugs in one of the bedrooms. When this was reported to the staff, only the linens were changed. We later found more bugs in the closet. I've travelled extensively, and this is the first time I had such problems. The staff is really nice and helpful, but we feel more should have been done to solve the problem. The swimming area was great for the kids, but a few items could be improved (to make the kids pool safer to play in).

Enrico Carollo05:23 06/30/23
In the middle of best Dolomiti's Catinaccio-Latemar peaks, Vidor is a small, not crowded, clean, equipped and full of services camping as a multi-services luxury spa. Prices are a little high for a camping pitch even if considering all services, in case you use them, could be reasonable.Toilettes, showers, and basic services are excellent.

Abdullah bin faisal21:39 04/30/23
Very bad. The reservation was made and the full amount was withdrawn. They deliberately arrived. They apologized for the unavailability of the suite. After suffering, they gave us a very bad apartment. The employee, Christina, is a fraud and her style is racist and impolite with visitors. They tried to count the apartment as zero stars at the same price as the 5-star suite, but a complaint was filed against them in tourism and they gave the tourists Bad impression of Italy and immediately we went back to Switzerland 🇨🇭 then Austria 🇦🇹 for their great respect and polite treatment of tourists. I will never go back to Italy 🇮🇹 again
