Contacted them the day before via Facebook messenger and was confirmed for the next day. Our appointment was at 1:30p for 2 people for the starter package 3. In the beginning it seemed like they weren’t sure we had an appointment. Eventually we entered, changed into their slippers and headed upstairs to the massage tables. Dark, low ceiling and beds separated by sheets. Initially my dad and I were put in the same room, so we asked for separate rooms.Undressed completely. They started off with the body scrub, then the hair spa (some cream spread over the top half of my scalp and hair. Laid for about 5 minutes then was told to shower (I didn’t know how to work the shower at first)!After the rinse, return to the same room for the massage! It was different for me, but I like it. It was just a little difficult to breathe because your face is on a flat neck pillow that faces the massage table (no opening).There are signs to remind you to keep quiet, because if not, you can hear everything!After the massage, you go back downstairs for hot water or ginger tea, a little survey, warm towel and provide a tip.We both enjoyed it! And their ginger tea is superb.They also follow strict safety protocols for Covid.Either you present your Mandatrack record or sign a health declaration form.All staff are also wearing proper PPEs during the entire procedure. I asked for her to do a moderate pressure, but it felt soft and the massage didn’t help to target the stiff muscles at my back and neck, so I asked her to do it again and I didn’t like her attitude when she responded, because I asked her in a nice way. When she re-did it, she put in a lot of pressure, but it felt rushed and seemed that she just wanted to get it over with. Even though she asked if it was okay at the end, I didn’t say anything as I’m not the type of person to keep asking someone to repeat something, especially if they don’t do it sincerely.Anyway, just steer clear of Perla or go for other therapists. bj buela02:48 07/22/23I paid for 1 hour massage but only get 30 minutes of it. Conveniently located across shangrila plaza, had package 2 and really relaxed me. The facility looks clean and taken care of, and the ambiance was good since it was quiet, dark, and smelled nice. The massage itself was good (i liked the heating netibo massage) but i was really impressed with the relaxing environment. They also let you choose your massage oil (scentless also included), which not a lot of nearby spas offer. The therapists made sure i was comfortable with the pressure and stretching. They offer hot towel and water or ginger tea after the massage.
