Great bar, too!The heated floor in the bathroom is great, although I couldn't quite figure out why it'd get really hot sometimes, then cool way down.I was so happy to have a tub. There's a problem here, though, with the tub/shower combination. There's a glass partition across the half of the tub where the faucet is, and the glass doesn't move. So...in order to adjust the water temp without getting soaked with cold or blazingly hot water, one has to be a sort of contortionist - I did it by straddling the tub - not a great idea.But - the rooms are huge, comfortable, with terraces and amazing views, some of the Tiger's Nest. The lobby, bar, and restaurant are beautiful and comfortable. Lots of great outdoor spaces, and a party room with a fireplace. Our room was amazing we had a view of the Himalayas from our balcony that was breath taking. The staff was so friendly the food was delicious. They were trained at the ultra-luxe Amankora resort in Thimphu from the best. Their service is very professional and of high standard. Tshering Dorji, his wife Pema, and Karchung run a fine business. It is heartwarming to see that they have established a business which is their main source of livelihood. Food was outstanding and we got personal attention from the chef and the staff, which made it all the more enjoyable. Location of this hotel is in a quiet street but not very far from the market.
