Gail S.13:11 05/12/23Rested my nails from continuously doing gel and asked for a basic pedicure. Paid almost 800 pesos and to be completely honest it’s not worth it (see pictures). The nail tech told me it has already dried and from what can be seen, the paint has scraped after 30mins it even looked crooked. I used to go here often after pandemic and have manicure nail extension worth 7-8k pesos bc their work and service was so much better than before. But when i asked about the services, first, if they accept card, she said receptionist still not at work. Then i asked to do nail extension with art. Unfortunately the artists are only arriving by 1PM, and the lady advise that she will call me instead. She called me around 12 that all artist call in sick. I just find it weird that how come all the nail artists were sick today so how can they manage to open for business. When I wanted to try the oval shape just to try something new, she commended "di bagay sayo ang oval". 2. She asked me the last time I had my gel manicure, and I answered last month before christmas and I also mentioned to her that i pull off my gel manicura because hindi sya matibay, then here she goes commended while doing my gel polish "Di talaga pantay kuko mo. Pag ito tinanggal mo pa very good ka na mam". I just gave her my awkward smile. 3. Then her so called beshie besides me while doing other customers nails intervine saying "Bakit beshie, may hilig sya mag tuklap?". Like hello? Wala po ba ako sa harap niyo at gusto niyo ko pag usapan? My whole gel manicure session is so uncomfortable because of you Ms. Miley. Take my advice, keep your unsolicited opinion to your self. I could have painted my nails better. It was painful and stressful to watch her the whole time. Every nail she painted went over my skin and then she would take a corrector to try and fix the sides. Look at the bottom of all my nails!! Also i don’t know what she was doing when cutting my cuticles because now I have dead skin hanging everywhere!!! While the salon had a pleasant ambiance and the staff appeared friendly, the quality of the gel polish and the expertise of the nail artists fell short of my expectations.One of the main reasons I opted for a gel polish was for its easy application and durability. However, to my disappointment, the gel polish I received started chipping and peeling within a mere 4 days. The premature wear and tear of the gel polish left me feeling dissatisfied and questioning its quality. The application took much longer than expected and still resulted in uneven coats and visible brush strokes on some of my nails. Additionally, I noticed a lack of attention to detail when it came to cuticle care and shaping.While I understand that no salon is perfect and that occasional mishaps can occur, the combination of the subpar gel polish durability and the apparent lack of skill among the nail artists left me disappointed. I had hoped for a longer-lasting manicure that showcased the talents of well-trained professionals.Despite my negative experience, I believe it is important to mention that everyone's experience may vary, and it is possible that others have had more positive encounters at Beauty and Butter. They also had to remove my gel, which was quite the process. The ladies were very thorough with scraping my feet, which I appreciated because usually, the nail techs rush through this part.
