The temperature is just right and the lighting is just right. The bed is just right and smells clean. As we wait for our turn, the staff gave us with the hot compress for the shoulders. which is soothing. Muscle relaxation starts here. The massage comes with a free foot soak. I get to choose the scent of the oil too. I like how they used smooth hot stones to initially breakdown muscle stress. The massage was so relaxing. You know that the massage will be great based on the rhythm of the hand's movement on your back, and the rhythm was great. I had a nice nap during the massage. A hot towel after the massage is also available to remove the greasy feel of the oil.The staff at reception is accommodating and friendly.The price is a little bit higher compared to other spa in the area, but it is worth it. Found it funny that they disinfect you with a steamer before you go to your massage room. But I guess it gives clients peace of mind with that added safety measure. What makes the treatment in Mandara unique is you get rubbed down with heat packs all over so it somehow eases the muscles before the actual massage. They then leave those heat packs on your back as they work on your legs. Mmmmm… After the treatment, the masseuse scrubs you with a hot towel so you don’t leave sticky and oily. You have a choice of warm water or ginger tea at the end of your treatment.Highly recommended if you are in the area. Spa Fairy
