I even called the other branch to ask their price. There was a difference of around 1k for the Toner treatment. Difference of 2k for the highlight.It would've been okay if service was great but highlight done wasn't amazing, it was subpar compared to the previous services I had done from Shang. My haircut wasn't good, it turned bad after washing the first time. Buhaghag! In Shang, my stylist cuts my hair for more than 30 mins but the stylist in Rockwell cut my hair in 10 mins or less!!! I was really shocked when she said it was done. SUPER DISAPPOINTING!MUCH better to visit Basement Shangrila!!! All the stylists are better in Basement Shang! Don't waste your money in their Rockwell branch. It’s like they paint the top coating instead of going through your whole scalp area. I have been to 50+ salon for the same treatment, and this place stood out the most terrible way, ironically, the price is the highest. Not to mention when they finished drying my hair, when I pointed out that I can still see a lot of grey hair, the hair stylist and assistant said “ma’am, it’s the light !” Now I have to provide pictures to show the truth to you all. Oh btw, the nail service never came to me so I didn’t even want to continue my “salon experience “ here. Fast forward to 2021, I switched to their laser hair removal and it was even more life-changing. The equipment they use is different from the usual diode (had UA done in Skin Station back in 2016-2017) and I noticed that Wink's is far more superior in terms of hair removal and pain management. No scalding hot temperature too.So far, I've finished 9 sessions of Brazilian and 9 sessions of lower leg hair removal. I can barely see hair and those that are still stubbornly growing are very, very fine to the point they're barely visible. For reference, I am really hairy and I've never tried wax for Brazilian because I know it will be painful as hell.I love how professional and expert Wink's staff (nurses & receptionists) are, especially in Power Plant Mall branch. They constantly give advice on how to care for the skin to get optimal results and even check up via SMS a few days after every visit. Note that if you buy their package with 10-12 sessions (small/medium/large), you can opt to use for 2 body parts and can do hair removal and whitening.TL;DR definitely avail laser hair removal in Wink! The staff is efficient with booking and reminding you of your appointments. They’re also very professional and nice. They make sure the rooms are clean and smell good all the time. They never rush you when you’re there even when they’re busy. The prices and packages are also fair ( even with the more recent slight price increase). You can pay per session as well so it’s very convenient. I would recommend this particular branch for any laser needs.
