We were able to get a seat right away but soon after we sat down, it got really quite busy. However, this place was extremely foreigner friendly. The burgers were fantastic and extremely reasonably priced for how delicious they were. Drinks were also good! However nothing beats the view thing bar has to offer, especially during the sunset. Cicon is located in the sleek Nohga Hotel, and has amazing drinks and wonderful views of the city.The cocktail list is thorough and extensive, but they also offer beer, wine, and mocktails. We ordered the "Peach and Berry" and "Classic Mojito", and they were some of the best cocktails we had during our trip. Perfectly balanced and so refreshing.For food, we ordered the garlic shrimp, falafel, fried fish, and teriyaki chicken tacos. The tacos are perfect for sharing, as they come in pairs (2 tacos for approximately 780¥). The falafel taco was nicely seasoned and our favourite of the bunch. The drinks are 3 times the price and the "smoked nuts" are a complete rip-off. You get better stuff at the 7/11. To bad actually, because the view is amazing. Great adaptations by the chefs of using Kyoto ingredients in international cuisine. Love the 3F rooftop terrace. I find the lobby a bit overwhelming and distracting with all the noise created by those on their laptops working at the internet trough. They look like salmon swimming and caught halfway upstream. Six months ago it wasn't so crazy so I guess it's a wild batch of humanity looking for a home to hang. It's not like there's a lack of internet access, more like people looking for connections. I hope the laptop folks find another stream to spawn. We had to ask multiple locals to find the 3 elevators needed to get to the bar, no sinage at all.Drinks were average and expensive for the area. Not a great view, regardless of where you sit.Please note that the bar is not at the top of the tower. It's at the base.. only around 14 floors high.It's not really worth it unless you want to see the exhaust tower above the city.
