After visiting the Parliament and Big Ben area, we stopped by this historical pub. Lived up to its reputation, it was packed and filled with suits lol. According to the pub, Charles Dickens and Sr Churchill were regulars here. Nice beer selection and of course we tried a few. I enjoyed the New England Pale Road Soda. Actually had a several of them hahaha. I say check it out.

We loved this Historical Pub, where Sir Winston Churchill, among many other notables, quaffed a pint or two. And the mini steak pie was so good we brought 9 others back later in the week with us to try it out. Must stop by and raise a toast.

Jeff Gibeau12:39 05/28/23
A wonderful meal, good atmosphere and short walking distance after seeing the sights. Meat pie sampler is a must as is the lamb steak. Finding a table may take some time, but it is worth the wait!

Charlene is so welcoming and warm. She is the reason we were able to experience the charm of this pub. Not only was she gracious to us, though we observed her kindness to all potential guests as she greeted them just outside of the door.We visited at a busy time, lunch time, on a Tuesday after a holiday. We were seeking a place to take a break from our walking so that we could enjoy a glass of wine. At first it seemed there was not going to be space for us, so Charlene was pointing out other options for us. While she was talking with us, she noticed a table become available outside and we were very happy to accept this spot as it provided a great vantage point to watch the hustle and bustle of the area. When it looked like rain was imminent and some people had vacated tables inside, she offered us a beautiful table just inside the front, which allowed us to maintain our great view. She pointed out the menu to us and made many suggestions. We already had late lunch reservations elsewhere, so we were not able to try the food this visit, though we will likely be back based on her recommendation. She did suggest making a reservation as it is a busy spot. There is a dining room upstairs, though we would be likely to want to dine in the pub. They did have chardonnay by the glass for our first round, though when we went back for a second glass they were out. We selected the rose for the second glass. We prefer the chardonnay so hopefully that will be back in stock before our next visit.Thank you, Charlene!

Busy spot for British pub eats and drinks. There's the main floor, seemingly more for drinks, and a second floor for sit-down meals. Notably, we really enjoyed the Steak Ale Pie — the gravy was amazing.

Booked a table for 2 at 7pm on a Thursday as the menu looked amazing. When we got there we had been allocated a tiny table out the back of the main pub (downstairs) rather than up in the dining room. We were surrounded by louty City drinkers so left without ordering. Had they said they had no room in the dining area upstairs we wouldn't have bothered booking. Not great even tho it had the potential to be amazing.

Self service. Order at the bar and they bring it to you. Bangers and Mash was excellent, burger was ok.

Adam Lyons21:49 06/16/23
I felt fancy at the Feathers. Steak and ale pie was tart and hardy while the fish and chips were as good as you will find anywhere. Two wing back armchairs and lots of dark wood made the posh lunch spot feel like an attorney's office--but somehow in a good way.

Molka Far Hood15:09 05/02/23
Highlights: the chicken pie and the grilled sweet potatoes. The smashed potatoes fail and the service is medium they forgot parts of the main dish of my friend and they do not give bread neither adapted for their dishes. But reasonable prices compared to restaurants in London.

Cody M21:56 03/10/23
First visit to London and Feathers. Overall I'd rate it a 4.5 but rounded up. The reason I deducted a bit was the French fried were generic frozen ones with little seasoning. The chicken bites were decent. The saving grace was the Steak and Pale Ale Pie with Mashed Potatoes. Dynamite. Service past the bar requires you to order at the bar.

Great service to start with, nice venue, lots of seats available.Downside was we saw mice on the top floor & it took over 15 mins for our order of drink to arrive when ordered on the app although the bar wasn’t busy. Good music though.

Nice food and nice atmosphere but you HAVE to pay 10%more for the servise without asking you first. The servise was bad,we ordered 2 espressos and after 20 min they said they forgot to bring them to us so they made new coffees. The bar was empty as it was Sunday evening.

Sarah Courson01:55 07/31/23
We went our first night in town for a couple drinks before heading to our hotel. It was a Monday night, but they were extremely busy and the bartenders were backed up so it took longer to get drinks. We ended up going back on the following Sunday evening though as we liked the cocktails. Sunday was pretty quiet and we had great service. We chatted with the bartender as she was closing the patio for the night. She was very friendly and took great care of us.

Jack van Ham15:48 06/08/23
Ok prices, ok atmosphere. The food was disappointing, as some garnishes were missing, and the fish fingers sandwich had a mushy texture. The bangers were supposed to be apple flavoured, but there was no hint of it. The bartender seemed to have a bit of an attitude (did her job, but not much more than that)

Roya MJ15:57 05/09/23
an awesome place! Britain’s Oldest brewery, wow. Came in for fish and chips and a pint, but unfortunately missed mealtime. Bartender was fabulous and super personable. I asked for something along a Guinness, but not. He said that’s it, but suggested a drangonfire English ale, which I loved. I mean, just look at the place, it has so much charm!

John Ilderton15:53 04/18/23
Delicious food. Great staff. Best food we had in London surprisingly! Warm and inviting atmosphere downstairs to eat. Sid served us and was awesome! Stopped by before and after Westminster Abby tour, the steak and ale pie blew our socks off!

James M10:33 03/18/23
Super historic pub tucked away across the road from Westminster Abbey and The Queen Elizabeth conference centre. Drop in for a great selection of drinks and beer on draught.

Funki Pickle23:23 12/08/22
We found the Westminster Arms on the way back to our hotel. Staff were friendly when we enquired whether they were still serving food. We went downstairs and we were quickly served. We had the beef and ale pie with veg and the vegan/veggie burger with chips, bread and butter pudding with custard and apple pie and custard. Food was served piping hot and the portions were decent. The veggie burger was really tasty which makes a nice change. We cleared our plates. We followed up with some drinks and all in all left the pub with happy stomachs. We liked the small wooden booths, which gave a bit of privacy to relax and natter.

I went for a South African afternoon tea for two and I had an incredible experience. They went above and beyond to cater for my dietary requirements at very short notice. The food and coffee were delicious and I highly recommend this experience. The decor makes you feel like you’re truly in South Africa.

Henry T. Dom PhD aka Hari-dhama dasa20:57 06/27/23
A bar-restaurant with a SA food theme running through a tatty menu. Every starter and main dish is ridiculously overrated and over-priced. The waiter gave the distinct impression that he did not want to be there. So did I, when the dreary veggie dishes turned up. But even more overpriced were the wine. At the end of the evening I felt cheated, disappointed and frustrated that the owner, a fellow-SA, can take such advantage of his guests. No wonder the place was empty and deserted. Has his “reputation” eventually caught up with him? You’ve been warned. Not value or quality for money. Nothing to recommend.

Paula Williams14:42 06/18/23
I arranged to have afternoon tea here for my mums 65th birthday. There were 9 of us and we were all so pleased with the everything. The food was delicious and there was a lot of it. The cocktails were really nice too and they offered to make any others that were not on the menu. The venue itself was really nicely decorated and clean. We will definitely come back, such a good find!! Thank you

The signature "Fish and Chips" as well as the shortcrust pork and apple pie were incredible. Good vibes here, the staff are quick to serve and the owner is a gentleman. The toilets are also top Notch. Highly recommend.

Best service and food I have ever received. It was a pleasure to spend the last day of my 20s dining here. The food was excellent 5 star all round. Friendly, polite and patient.

Tucked away just off Whitehall, this is a real gem of a bar. Very stylish decor, sutle lighting with a great story to match the name. If you're stepping out for the night, then this is the perfect place to suggest you meet - of course, you'll tell them all it's your regular haunt 😄. Service is 1st rate and friendly, very tasty and original bar menu with cocktails and beers to rave about. Go on, get yourself down there, sit back and enjoy!

Greg Brown00:08 08/15/21
Evening started off a bit rocky when they served me an £18 cocktail (handsome polly) that was completely different to the menu description and then said they had changed the recipe (but hadn't updated the menu). They did turn it around though and the food and drinks I had afterwards were superb (Try the black diamond). The bartender Ivan was very knowledgeable and took a great deal of pride in his job which was great. I'd happily return.

Colin Gledhill12:45 07/23/21
Nice bar in the Great Scotland Yard Hotel just off Whitehall. Despite being completely empty when we entered we were asked if we had a reservation and when we said no the waiter made out like he was doing us a favour by letting us have a table. There are lots of bars around that would be happy to have customers walk in but this place doesn't appear to be one of them. Very expensive, we each had one G&T, and the bill the £75 for 4 people. Unfortunate won't be heading back here anytime soon

Anna B.14:29 08/08/23
Amazing place! Me and my boyfriend went on July/23. We ate fish and chips, it was delicious. The pub was very crowded, but they found a table for us very quickly! The best part is eating with a view, and what a view: Elizabeth Tower/Big Ben!

Ljubica Banic14:14 07/31/23
Very old fashion pub… is located in one of the most famous landmarks of London opposite the Big Ben…. The service was slow the waitresses did not play attention when I was calling them. The food was ok. The toilets were disgusting I even found poo on the floor. This pub could be a lovely place if they put the effort to give better service

M R08:16 06/29/23
Visited last year, okay fish-n-chips. Fish was not quite crispy and had a pronounced fishy smell & taste served with almost cold chips (fries) and rock hard peas. Visited again this year and the fish-n-chips was a bit better, but even though I asked for "crispy," it was still not fried crisp. Places on the fish batter coating were soft and mushy...it needed a bit more time in the hot oil. Still served with almost cold chips and hard peas. The sauce must have sat out for a while because it was old enough that the top was stiff and had a darker, different color. Getting served is a challenge but the wait staff are all very polite. Still, some tables were completely ignored and diners had to get up and ask loudly for help. Great location right across from Big Ben. But the downside is that several bicycle taxi providers park right next to the outside dining area. So there's cigarette smoke and loud talking between the drivers that detracts from the dining area experience. Might be better to add tall plants or a wall barrier to separate the taxis from the diners.

Maria CHAIREZ22:10 06/25/23
Second time visiting. First time was 2015 and I loved it. Came for a second visit in 2023 and I should if skipped it! The service was absolutely horrible! The waitress told me I couldn't get a side of chips because they were rationing them for the fish and chips plates. Then I order the fish and chips and I received 10 chips!!!! If they are out of chips, then tell people that, but don't sell scraps of chips to make them last longer! That's just wrong! And the waitress was just rude not only with me but with everyone around me. It was just a horrible experience and I will never be back!! I gave them 2 stars because the fish was good!

Mike23:26 05/08/23
Came here for the fish and chips, didn’t expect anything amazing as is usually the case with pubs in superbly touristic spots.Yet, we were very pleasantly surprised with the quality and taste, it was indeed very worth it. The only negative is the speed of service, as it did take quite a while for our two portions to be served. Still, 5 stars because the food was great.
