For context, my previous experience with gel nail polish is that I can wash dishes EVERYDAY, handle sharp objects, and do handicrafts without worry because they stay intact for 2 weeks before I have to replace them. As of writing, I haven’t done any serious manual labor with my hands because I am ON VACATION. All I did was ride on a plane for several hours. This is why I was so shocked.Super disappointed because the place looked OK, the technician was very nice and the price (PHP1000) is similar to the place I usually have my gel nails done (around PHP 900-1000 also). However, chipped GEL nails are an ABSOLUTE DEALBREAKER for me. It looks unsightly. Sana nagpamanicure nalang ako ng regular polish (ORLY polish and topcoat) kung magchichip din pala.I pay for a service because I expect a certain performance. If these gel nails had chipped on the 7th day instead of the usual 14 days, I would be a bit more understanding, albeit still disappointed. THEY CHIPPED AROUND THE SECOND OR THIRD DAY, WHICH IS THE SAME AS A /REGULAR/ MANICURE that costs around HALF the price. I am VERY upset that I did not get the QUALITY I thought I had paid for. I was wrong to trust this salon ON MY VACATION.I gave the salon the benefit of the doubt despite its previous bad reviews here kasi yan lang din available when I went to Megamall.
