This place feels like a dinner but not a very good one. The restaurant itself is not very clean as we were sat a table covered in leftover food. The eggs were watery and extremely bland. The Turkey sausage was undercooked and oily. The “artisan greens” are just a bag of grocery store lettuce covered in a very acidic vinaigrette. The toast was the best part of my meal. I wouldn’t recommend this place, even as far as diners go it’s pretty poor quality. The server was friendly and the food did come out quick.

My wife found this place, and we enjoyed eating breakfast there with parents while we were in town. Everything we has was so good. The biscuits were massive, soft, and delicious. They reminded you of grandma's biscuits on a Saturday morning!! I recommend the corn beef hash. It was so good! 🤤

This place was awesome! My girlfriend and I stopped in while out for the day. I got the corned beef omelet with grits, a biscuit, and a side of sausage gravy and was very impressed. My girl got the crab and shrimp omelet and loved hers as well. I would definitely go again and try something new as everything I saw looked amazing. 10/10.

Everything AwesomeWe loved ate experience here on King St - Charleston…. We needed a dog friendly restaurant… we didn’t even know there was a back patio and it was nice and perfect. Dog treats, dog water and fresh oranges !!They even treated our dog to a nice piece of bacon. Our food and drinks were so good. I totally recommend the BLT/Fried Green tomato sandwich!! The sweet potato fries so hot and fresh. My daughter said her mimosa with fresh squeezed orange juice was the best she’s ever had. Kileigh our server was very nice and attentive. It didn’t take long at all for our drinks and food. I highly recommend this place.

This place was not what we expected. So many people had hyped it up that we were expecting the food and drinks to blow our mind. I got the daily special which was a crab cake dish and it was so bland. It was not worth the cost. I think the food was meant to taste good if you’d already drank several carafes of mimosas maybe and likely that’s where the 5 star reviews come from. If sober, the food needs more seasoning and inspiration. I’d recommend going somewhere else if you want to eat good food.

Gilberto Morales10:56 06/24/23
Omg! Yummy 2.0! We had a wait, and they offered to text us when our table was ready, which was perfect. We walked around the neighborhood, and the time flew. Staff is super friendly and helpful. All the recommendations were on point, from the appetizer to the Entree. We are already planning on going back this week. 👍👍👍👍

Lauren Strainge18:12 06/18/23
Millers Staff was delightful and attentive. I made a mistake in my drink order and it was corrected without charge. The crab fritters were fresh and delightful and the Cajun dip gave it the right amount of kick. Their iced chai was the perfect reprieve from the hot Charleston sun. I ordered the Shrimp BLT and was delighted by the blend of flavors and the mixed green salad on the side. My family members got the smash burger, which I was surprised came with no side, the quiche special, and the strata, all delicious. Since the burger came without a side and the quiche was lacking filling according to my family members, 4/5 stars for the food. However we would definitely come back without hesitation.

Larysa D23:54 05/28/23
So far my favorite restaurant we have tried in Charleston. Yes there is always a wait……but yes the wait is so so worth it. Just walk the few blocks to battery and enjoy your wait. Food is amazing, still dreaming about it. Service is incredible. Coffee is good, bloody mary’s are grand. Definitely a place we will go back to a ton of times.

Tyler J18:01 03/02/23
Great everything. I will start by saying Gabriel, my server, made a fantastic recommendation with the fried chicken biscuit. The biscuit was buttery and crumbly with just a hint of sweetness. The breading stuck to the juicy chicken well and the pimento cheese/pepper jam were great compliments. It was a nice savory/sweet/crunchy bite every time. I also was a little hungry after the sandwich and ordered the home fries and oh man were they delicious. Perfectly fried, seasoned, and super fluffy on the inside. Pair that with the mad sauce and you can’t go wrong. Overall, the awesome teal accents and 60s decor made it for me and I’d definitely come back if I was in town.

Our food was so good. The atmosphere was great and our waiter was so attentive and happy to be at work. I didn’t take pictures of all I got but everything was properly seasoned and delicious.

Ebony Powell15:09 07/13/23
The food is amazing!! I had the smoked salmon benedicts and it was delicious. Harris was the absolute best. He made an Irish Cold Brew for me upon suggestion and it was the perfect compliment to my breakfast. Would highly recommend visiting here.

Kevin Funkhouser13:18 06/02/23
Great food and excellent service. Our waiter was attentive without being overbearing. You know what I mean. The Lemon Blueberry French toast was good. Don't skip the sausage patties, they were wonderful.

Wanderluster00:54 03/20/23
The staff and atmosphere were great! Location is close to everything, including overnight accommodations.I love omelets, but this one was not very flavorful. The coffee was bitter. The breakfast potatoes were dry and did not have much flavor. The biscuit was also dry. The person I was with really enjoyed their coffee, toast, scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, pancakes, and bacon. The bathroom was decently clean, but I saw a huge palmetto bug crawl from behind the toilet. That was a bit of a turn off. As many times as I have visited Charleston, I have never seen one in any of the places I have eaten or stayed overnight.

Gabby Jimenez21:10 09/21/22
Food was okay. Survived cancer I’m lucky to be here. Today was my husband’s birthday we decided to get breakfast there and celebrate! I asked a team member to please sing happy like any other place to surprise my husband and his response was “we don’t do that and we have no candles” that was everything we were looking forward. since we have no family here.More that just serving good food should be about the guest experience. Really dissatisfied with the response and attitude.

One of the best corner store breakfasts in Charleston. Don’t think I’ll ever find hash as good as this and the breakfast blt is on point. You will be sad if you miss it. Must go.

Jo Bay16:56 07/07/23
The water at this brunch spot is some of the freshest I've ever had. It's ice cold and crisp, with no hint of chlorine or other impurities. The water is served in a clear glass, so you can see how clean and clear it is.I've tried the water at a few other brunch spots, and it's always been a bit disappointing. The water is often warm or stale, and it can have a strange taste. But the water at this spot is always perfect.I am not entirely positive, but I believe they use a decent water filter system and keep it stored in a sports cooler for quick and easy access while you're snacking on the delicious hot sauce they make in-house.The water is also served at a perfect temperature. It's not too cold, and it's not too warm. It's just right and transfers from cup to mouth without causing a sharp cold shock, even in the humid blazing south Carolina heat.I highly recommend the water at this brunch spot. It's the best water I've ever had, and it's the perfect way to start your brunch. Also, the food was top notch and the staff was super friendly and knowledgeable about the ingredients in their dishes.

Brian Fannin16:02 06/23/23
Despite many of the staff not being very pleasant or happy, this place is hands down the best breakfast joint I’ve ever been too. Shockingly large portions for the price and quality. I ordered three things and they knocked it out of the park. Fun and unique atmosphere as well.Get just about anything but the fruity pebble pancake was the best I’ve had and the sourdough toast was everything I wanted and more.

Vickie Knowles14:29 04/30/23
Funky place with delicious breakfast. My ham and brie cheese sandwich was perfectly made and yummy! Everyone was happy with their food.Only a few tables indoors, but there is outdoor seating. They take no reservations. You order in line and then they bring the food. Very popular place, tucked in a cute neighborhood.

Milana K17:51 03/12/23
Really good food, efficient staff. Seasonal Veggie side was delicious. The chickpea Sandwhich was pretty good too.Didn’t like being overcharged for the pancakes, ($20) I ordered 2 of the side pancakes which were $3.50 each) it ended up going to waste. So much went into the trash. 🙁 and the guy blew me off instead of working it out…. A few side items cost me almost $70…….. and we came in for a light snack.

Very busy. Expensive. Mediocre food. There's really nothing special about this place. The plating of food is a mess. My dish, the redneck benny, looked more like a train wreck. One of the people in the party ordered some sort of spicy morning drink. It's served with a slice of bacon and okra sitting on top. 😂😂😂😂I died laughing when I saw that monstrosity. If you want some good ole redneck cuisine with a side of indigestion, this is your place.

Arelys Delgado01:18 07/21/23
Delicious!!! Great service! We were seated right away. The coffee is your regular dinner coffee but the good kind, they also had fancier coffee if you would like. I ordered the egg& Cheese biscuit. I was thrown back by how tiny the biscuit was but in the end it was the perfect size for me. My husband that the sausage skillet and do not let the small looking cast iron skillet fool you that was packed in and was plenty. We also ordered a communal pancake and it was good but kind of blended in with other pancakes we have had did not stand out. We do order pancakes almost every time is in a menu. The atmosphere was good is just the music was a bit too loud and we couldn’t carry a conversation that is why I gave it a 4 star on that, but other than that is was a wonderful experience.

Didi Diaz13:49 07/04/23
This team has got it going on! I’m from Miami and brunch is sort of like a big deal for us. BBB has a waiting line outside where you are being served refreshments and booze! Genius! We walked in and snagged two seats at the bar. The food was excellent. The best breakfast we had during our short SC visit. Had the spicy Bloody Mary and it was just the right amount of spicy. The location is massive and don’t worry, the line moves fast. There is indoor and outdoor seating. I had the chicken and biscuit sandwich. WOW! We also tried the Keke burrito and it was a large portion. That could easily feed two people.

Lauren LaPinta01:49 06/28/23
Delicious!!! This was definitely worth the wait! I did like that they had a water stand for people waiting outside. Always a nice touch. All of our food was so good. Our waitress was great and attentive, even as they were busy. Our only complaint (and it may just be a personal thing) is that the music playing inside was pretty loud. Mix that with all the people, and we had to talk pretty loudly to hear each other. But if that's the only issue, I'd say it's okay

Kimberly Bowen03:30 02/19/22
I enjoyed my food but I was not happy the cheese on my eggs we not melted. The chicken was well seasoned! And the honey/syrup was very tasty. My ice coffee was also delicious.

Great food and even better service. I had the corned beef hash omelette and the California croissant. They were both delicious the only negative for me was the potatoes. They have a certain distinct taste. But my tastes are different and maybe others will probably love them.Would I come back? 100%.Also, don’t forget to try the boylan coke. It’s also delicious.

Marc Lazzaro01:15 06/27/23
This place is so great we ate there two days in a row during our recent trip to Charleston! We both had the Crab and Bacon omelette the first day and the Fried Green Tomato omelette the second day. My wife and I agreed that they were the best omelettes we’ve ever had! The service was spectacular! We were waited on by Cassidy both days. We never had to ask for refills of coffee or water. She was always checking in and was quick to get us anything we needed. We took the time to let Charles, the cook, know how much we enjoyed the food! He is a true culinary artist. We will be eating at Sweetwater Cafe any time we’re in Charleston. I would recommend it to anyone!

Sonali Thakur11:49 06/04/23
I ordered a regular egg and cheese sandwich on a sour dough bread with a side of grilled potato pancake and a basket of tenders. The sandwich was good, but I never received the potato pancake, and the server charged me for a fried fish basket rather than the tender basket. The server who was serving us was already fighting, yelling , and was stressed out at the back door. I liked the place but will suggest everyone check their bills before paying.

TENAKEY14:57 02/24/23
Hidden gem tucked away on market st. Downtown Charleston. Super close to King Street shopping. The breakfast is phenomenal made from fresh ingredients. Definitely in my top 2 places to grab a hardy breakfast. If you are unsure what to get; I would suggest the Ham Egg & Cheese. Just a Simple sandwich packed with flavor. I love the vibe here; It has this old time Diner feel with the glittery red seats and stainless steel decor over the kitchen. The staff is friendly and professional, Greeting you promptly when you arrive. Don’t look past this place…it’s really good food and may just be my new place to eat breakfast when I am downtown on business.

Ms. Keep It Real19:11 08/15/21
It was a great place to have brunch. Adequate seating. Our server was extremely nice & he made sure that we were satisfied. I do recommend that you give them a try when you are in Charleston, SC.

Sunday brunch with the wife was great. The wait wasn't bad. (20 min) The staff were extremely kind, courteous, and efficient. The food was really good.I had the Pigs-in-a-Blanket with Hashbrowns. The wife had French Toast, Rosemary-Maple Syrup (YUMMY) and Chicken with a side of their special Coffee-Rubbed bacon. All of it tasted great.Their Iced Tea was really good too...nice and strong without being too sweet.

This place has amazing breakfast/brunch! I always make a point to stop here on the way out of Charleston. All the food is just perfect and the staff is super friendly and great at what they do!

Kyle Dahl20:57 04/28/23
Overall: A top option for a weekend brunch! The good: Lots of options to choose from, but we went with two savory and sweet items - the buzzed doughnut and fried sweet tea chicken and french toast. Both were great in their own way; the bacon on the sandwich was heavenly as was the bourbon pecon brown sugar butter for the french toast. Too many flavors to mention, they were all good. Unlimited coffee refills and very friendly service all around, from waiters to bussers to hosts. Fun atmosphere and decent prices. The not-so-good: Long waits with no reservations. That's about it, everything else was great.Food/drink: 9/10Atmosphere: 9/10Service: 9.5/10

Matthew Kelly16:53 04/04/23
We had an amazing experience here for Saturday brunches with some friends, service was speedy, kind, and on top of our needs. The atmosphere was laid back and pretty great. During actual breakfast time it gets a little louder due to the hustle and bustle of being a popular place but overall one of the best stops we had in North Charleston.I had the French Toast with a side of Bacon and it was perfectly prepared. The syrup on top was a good flavor and consistency and the butter was delicious making it a phenomenal breakfast choice. 👌

Beautiful building with plants and art surrounding you, taking you into a little wormhole as soon as you step in the place. Amazing food, decent prices, fast and friendly service. Would come again! I got the black beans Benedict and a coffee. Delicious! They were on top of refilling my coffee mug too which I really appreciate.

John Rachuna16:37 07/09/23
Gluten-free food but NOT good for those with celiac disease. No GF designated toasters, cooking area, or prep area. Good if you do not have sensitivity, not good for cross-contamination.Would suggest making it friendly for those with sensitivity as you market for GF.

Ajimon Thomas17:25 06/25/23
Mediocre food with terrible service. The place looks cute with all the plants, so we had high hopes. We had to wait 20-30 mins to get a table outside. I don’t mind the wait, but then don’t make us wait another 45 mins to get food. We had the shrimps and grits, the croissant, scrambled eggs and drinks. I had to add a lot of salt and pepper to make the shrimps and grits have any flavor. The croissant was bland as well. Not going back.

Delicious brunch! The avocado omelet, home style fries, and sweet potato biscuits were amazing. Don’t let the oatmeal fool you, it might look simple but the slight honey sweetness set it over the top. Everything coming out of the kitchen looked amazing, especially the French toast - we want to come back to try more! Bonus - they bring your check out on a Dr. Seuss book! Highly recommended!

Here from savannah for a VA appointment- this place was packed wall to wall, which makes me uncomfortable (anxiety issues) but the experience was great!Manager or owner was like a bright eyed blood hound looking for any imperfections. He was all over the place, with a smile and courteous. Our glittery server was friendly, prompt, and attentive (and we heard you say you just got that cute beetle in the back- congrats!)We surprisingly had no wait for a table and the drinks and food was surprisingly brought out with no wait, given we got there as the rush started. The chicken and waffles- chicken was tender, soft fried batter… could use seasoning (I added hot sauce) but otherwise, was delicious. The waffle was the softest waffle I’ve ever had.. not sure what they do to get it like that, but it was good and THANK YOU immensely for carrying Smuckers sugar free syrup!!Fried pickles were fresh and hot. This place/staff are a well oiled machine. Will return on next VA appointment if we finish early enough.p.s. I love the 90s cartoon wall

I’ve been here countless times and it’s for a good reason. Early Bird is extremely consistent and you know what you’re getting when you come here. I’ve only ever had good experiences!! I always try to come before 9 am since it does get busy, but it’s worth the wait.

Sandy Howard14:48 06/29/23
Great food and fun atmosphere. The waiter was was really nice and the food was great. My husband was not the biggest fan of their Biscuits and Gravy but the chicken and waffle was absolutely delicious the sauce and the breading on the chicken were my favorite. The price was actually pretty high for most places around. The chicken and waffles was almost $20 alone

Tina Rowland11:22 06/09/23
This a place you need to visit if in Charleston. We had breakfast/lunch here and it was delicious. It was full when we arrived, but only wanted a few minutes for a booth. Our server. (can't remember her name, but had on a strawberry shortcake shirt) was excellent. She had great recommendations for items on the menu and you could tell she had tried them. We had coffee which was bold in flavor. I had the fried tomato sandwich and my husband had country fried steak and gravy with eggs and home style potatoes. I don't think you could go wrong with any choice off the menu. To finish our meal, we had the banana pudding and it was delicious too. If you're in Charleston, definitely give them a try.

Great breakfast place. Food was hot and came out fast. Staff very friendly. Clean . Easy parking and easy to get in and out of. Lots of local art work on walls for sale. We will be going back.
