I've been here to attend a wedding reception.Pros:- Food! From presentation to taste, it's all all good!- Ambiance! The design is somewhat rustic, but sophisticated. Highly recommended for events which you'd prefer to be intimate.- Place! Easy to spot along Lazatin hwy, surrounded by number of coffee shops in case your barkada suggests another place to hang out after a great meal.Cons:- You'll feel the warmth of the glazing sun. I hope they'll improve the ventilation & consider more cleanliness in the comfort rooms 😊Overall, I'd say dining in here will keep a special space in my memory.Kudos to the staff & management!

What a lovely place! The ambiance of the restaurant was nice, the furniture are for sale as well.Food: there are some dishes that are a bit spicy. So if you're not into spicy food, best to ask which dishes are spicy. The highlight for me was the palitaw - take a bite and be surprise! They also has rooms for rent at the same building. Worth checking out!

Jj Sison07:45 07/29/23
Food and place were actually great, but the slow service turned us off so much. We had to follow up on our table, then follow up on our water, then follow up on our ordered drinks. I recommend they hire more people or have more training for the current ones. They had parking but it was full so had to park across the street.

Sheilla San Diego08:58 07/27/23
Food is really nice. Special mention of their Bagoong Rice and Crispy Pork Kare Kare!

YnahAttack04:08 07/26/23
The food is great! The place and amazing! But when your sitting in the blind spot of the restaurant you will not be seen and accomodate by the waitress but still they nice. But the only thing I dont like here is the CR, siggestion is you need to renovate your CR to total remove those stains.

Most of the time, Filipino restaurants fail to capture the true taste of Filipino dishes that we enjoy at home. Souq is one of those restaurants who are able to replicate real Filipino home dishes and serve it in their restaurant. The restaurant has this quaint feeling with lots of wood pieces adorned throughout the place. We had the fresh lumpia and ukoy for appetizer. The fresh lumpia was okay, I wished there were some proteins inside though to balance out the taste. Ukoy was quite good. For main dish, we had the seafood salpicao, kare-kare and caldereta. The seafood salpicao was okay, tastes a bit like those “pulutan” (bar chows) during beer nights. The kare-kare was a bit good - but lacked the rich taste of the sauce which came from stewing the beef together with the sauce. The components were obviously prepared separately. But it was rich in ground peanuts which you can taste with the sauce. The bagoong does not compliment the dish as much as we would like it to. But serves its purpose. The caldereta, on the other hand, is DELICIOUS. The meat was really tender and the sauce had the right level of acidity, saltiness and sweetness. The mashed potato in the middle was a great touch too. You can try to blend in the sauce with the mashed potato and it makes the sauce a bit more creamy.Restrooms were a bit untended to though. The male restroom didn’t even have a door knob. I just wish the management would try to fix the restroom as this is still part of the overall experience of the restaurant.Overall, will recommend for people to visit.

I see why this place is highly reviewed but I feel like something was still missing. Their food was more on the sweet side, textures were good, but portion size is small for the price you pay. I like the service but the aesthetic/ambience could be improved.Dining Tips: Don't get the Kamote Chips. Expect a very sweet Kare-Kare. Sisig is good.

D ccs09:48 04/19/23
Drinks took too long to arrive. Had to follow up multiple times on a specific dish only to be told that it's not available.. then came back later to inform us that it's available and ready to serve when we've already finished the rest of our meal.Love their okoy and the rest of our order as well. Although, for others, esp non kapampangans, the sweetness on their dishes is dominant.

Justin11:44 03/10/23
I ordered the sizzling tofu, laing and garlic rice. The sizzling tofu is cooked well crispy on the outside soft in the inside. But not all tofu are like that some are soft only but still taste good. The laing is new in their menu, the flavor of the laing is perfect! Creamy and a hit of spicy. The garlic rice, was cooked perfectly you can feel every grain in your mouth and you can really taste the garlic that is balanced with a bit of saltiness to it. Sad to say i did not take a picture of it.Overall experience is wonderful.A must try!!!

Tracey Claver10:21 01/10/23
Food is good and the portions are nice, great for sharing! Our favorite out of what we ordered was the Crispy Binagoongan. Affordable place to eat with a nice ambience.

Mayet12:25 06/17/22
I highly recommend them! The food was great! You get value for your money. It's no wonder they're in the top 10 restaurants recommended in Pampanga! I'll definitely go back whenever I'll be in the area.

Archie Noel Chua10:04 05/15/22
Ate here for lunch, food is excellent, but i only gave it only 2 stars, why because of their toilet see photo, you are a highly rated resto and your toilet lookLike this, worst than road side gas station toilets,no soap also in toilet, pls clean it up. Ample parking space. Large area can accomodate lots of guest, and also dont use plates with crack already it should be a no no when your serving food in a broken plate, you can see in the pic that there is already a chip on the plate, and can chip even more and you wont notice it that you have already eaten a small piece of glass. Price ₱₱₱₱

Carlo Buan07:52 03/07/22
This place reminds me of rustic restaurants. Food is well prepared, and their appetizers are very filling ( I didn't get the chance to get photos). Try their Pizza Negra, and you won't be disappointed! Its unique fresh flavors give a different twist to your ordinary Italian pizza. We really enjoyed this! Book a reservation as they fill up quickly during lunch and dinner.

Francesca Siasoyco08:46 01/18/22
Souq is a great place to have elevated Filipino/Kapampangan dishes. We got to try a number of dishes, all of which were delicious in their own special way.Okoy — Done differently compared to others, and we loved it. These were fried strips of papaya and carrots molded into a patty, which was perfect with the vinegar it came with.Salted Egg Tilapia — Crispy and umami. The salted egg wasn’t what we were expecting, being much more subtle yet still wonderfully seasoned.Fried Pork Liempo in Sambal Sauce — At first we thought this was kare-kare because of the presentation, but it was anything but! The flavors of this were powerful and creamy, making it absolutely perfect with rice. This was my favourite among everything we had.Duck with Coconut Adobo Sauce — Though the duck was on the drier and more tough side, this was still a good dish with a distinct Filipino twist. The Coconut Adobo sauce could’ve had more flavor, but still a good dish nonetheless.Matua (Meat in Tomato Sauce) — This was another crowd favorite. The meats were evidently pressure cooked to perfection. Even the mix of oils and tomato sauce were rendered very well, giving you a burst of deep salty and sweet flavors.Crab Rice — Beautifully enveloped in crab fat, this rice is sinful but just down right delicious. The one thing I wished that was done better in Souq was the upkeep and service. The restaurant is beautiful, but it isn’t being maintained well. Additionally, servers didn’t know what dishes were being served to us when we asked. Would’ve been great to have better service, but you can’t deny that the food is good.

A different and satisfying buffet experience. They also have KTV rooms, so super enjoy!

Never had adobong balut before and it was good. The Buffet Fee is reasonble and a great start to Filipino food.

Rosemarie Arcadio03:17 05/18/23
I really love this place. Their prices are affordable. And I was delighted that they have KTV. I had an amazing time with friends. Their food and service are all worth it.

Waltz Gutierrez02:31 05/18/23
Those who will b going there will surely not disappointed with the variety of delicious foods.

Vuemobi Media07:04 10/27/19
Very busy place especially at lunch. The food quality was normal (nothing spectacular) with that typical Pampanga taste. I gave this a lower rating due to their staff not that capable of understanding customer’s paying credit card as an option. Prior to entering, greeter’s staff indicated that they do accept credit card but was not informed that their system was already down for few days.

Norman Giovanni Guevarra06:26 12/13/18
Wow, the place have improve their facilities. Still a Kapampangan buffet with a variety of choices. I personally like the kare kare. The desert section is still the same. I think they need to improve the service more. They have a lot of servers and waiters but are not customer friendly. They talked alot at the food area.

Karla Otic13:05 11/20/18
Enough variety of dish. Though they're easily emptied, they make sure new dish is served. We booked part of the place for an event and the price isn't so bad.Update Nov 20, 2018They've made a very big improvement with the food, venue, and customer service making everything even better than before. They now offer 5+1 for people celebrating their bdays. They have new addition to their variety of food: adobong balut, lechon kawali, crispy bagnet, roast beef, binagoongan, calderetang baka, even samgyeopsal! Desserts now include yummy bibingka, suman, and fruits. Presenstation of each dish makes them look even more mouth-watering. The place is now fully air-conditioned. Perfect for all occasions.

Enjoyed their food that we ate there, twice. The 1st time was in their branch, then the following day, it was in their main resto. There was a small cockroach that came up from under the table, good thing we were done eating. This happened in their main branch. Hopefully, they can addressed this. Restaurant is recommendable.

It's ok food, nothing special. We ordered sizzling tofu, pork, and sisig. Also did the sisig fried rice. The sizzling ones had too much margarine, overwhelming the taste of the meat.

The resto is clean, well lit and well ventilated. Prices are cheap on their menu.

The atmosphere here is authentic Kapampangan. Big wooden tables, homey ambience. But the food is not that good anymore from what I remember before. Most are too tasty and salty, as if everything must come with rice. Event the Sinigang soup is salty. The reception staff is also not attentive. We came in with 10 pax, then prepared a table for 8.

Alex PC Tech07:32 07/03/23
Authentic Kapampangan Dishes. Unlimited Capampangan Cuisine for an affordable price. Hindi maalat, hindi matamis (not salty nor sweet) but savory. Malinamnam. It really is Manyaman Keni. Spent an afternoon here to really check out the food and I was mind blown by how rich capampangan dining really is. Definitely one for the books if you are heading north. Oh, and they have vallet parking.

Cecil Joyce Olvido13:58 03/16/23
Worth the price. We definitely enjoyed our buffet lunch! I love the freshness of the food especially the Fried Hito. Will visit again and recommend it to my friends. The ambiance is sooo Filipino.

Jenny07:40 03/12/23
March 12, 2023• Ambience: Place is modern-cultural designed. There were a lot of people but they have a system and are organized.• Service: Smooth since they have a system and are used to the number of customers coming in. Just a downside in any buffet is when they ran out of particular food choices. At that time, it happened that their bestsellers (tempura, lechon kawali, and sisig) ran out so I heard a customer complaining since they should’ve anticipated that. Good thing about it is that the staff were quick to attend to the needs and I saw how they try their best to be as efficient as possible.• Food- a lot of choices! Example: papaitan, kare-kare, shrimp and vegetable tempura, humba, boiled okra, fried kangkong, ampalaya salad, pipino salad, salted egg, fish escabeche, fried tiwilis, fruits, halo-halo (ube, mashed beans, sago, sweetened banana). They also have coffee and varieties of juice• Fave- lechon kawali with vinegar to balance the fats, atchara, okra with salted egg, tomato, and bagoong, papaitan, and fried tawilis.• Location- easy to find, parking’s not a problem since they offer free valet parking• Value for money: 👍👍👍 3/3• Overall: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5

ken lee09:08 01/24/23
Traditional kapampangan dishes with unlimited serving, you'll get your money's worth since the dishes were mostly good. Love the paco salad ,bagnet, sisig, kare kare.Too bad you can't eat it alone without rice 🤣 so you will be full in no time👍 3.5⭐⭐⭐

One of the best Kapampangan restaurants I've been to. Great recommendation from a new friend from the bank just across the street. I would have given 5 stars if they did not add babi into my favorite vegetable dishes - but there's plenty of choices. Pesang dalag, escabecheng maya-maya, crispy fried hito, kalderetang baka and kare-kare, plus steamed vegetables dipped with buro - wow!All-day buffet. Service is excellent, the crew was polite and attentive.Very good value for money - quality of food is excellent. Dinner time is even better as they have promo between 17:00 to 20:00.Their dining hall is impressive, with large solid wood tables, plenty of room for each seat and well ventilated. Good place to celebrate special occasions privately as they have a few separate function rooms. There's a collection of murals and paintings by the owner that recounts local heroes fro Tarik Sulayman to Luis Taruc.

Hepeng Kalbo15:08 11/04/22
For the price at buffet and variety it is good for me... you can taste here some authentic kapampangan dishes.... kare2 is highly recommended though... sampled all the dishes so only ate little rice... not all were to my liking though or probably am not used to them....

Krisha Lyn Manicia06:35 10/17/22
A kapampangan recommended this restaurant to me and now I know why. They have a lot of food choices and they all taste good! Walang tapon!Must try are: Sisig, Adobong Balut, Tocino, Kare-kare and Buro.I suggest that you eat their salad first before you devour the other heavy food. I love that they have Pako on Salad Section. Pako is always perfect paired with Itlog na Maalat.Drink choices are: Cucumber, Iced Tea, Pineapple and coffee. They also have Dessert Section and they offer halo-halo, palitaw, bilo-bilo and Minatamis na Saging.

Mark Magno02:38 06/28/22
Still sulit even at increased rate of ₱550. Kaso walang fried rice when we came. But still, the selection of food is a lot and you will surely be filled. I also liked the coffee. Looking forward to go back!

Food was good. I just wish that they would assign waiters who would stay closer to the dining area to be able to attend to their customers needs. Sometimes it's hard to call on them. But generally, they were very courteous and accommodating.

Food is great. We came in an off peak time so there were not so many other customers. Service was okay. We saw some board games on the shelves but currently are they cannot be used because of covid restrictions. We've ordered some chicken fajita, four cheese pizza, and some chicken wings. All of these were delicious especially the chicken fajita with the cheddar cheese sticks.

I enjoyed this place a lot! Food, service, and atmosphere were all better than I had expected. Serving size is pretty big and the prices are fair. Lots of options too so definitely worth going back. Check this place out!

Ian Pangan13:09 09/25/22
Enjoyed our dinner here. Ordered cheese burger slides, buffalo wings with blue cheese dip and their crispy pata with bagoong rice. All the food we ordered were yum!The bagoong rice matched well with crispy pata - crunchy skin and tender meat. I cleaned up the entire pata of its glorious crunch! Their sawsawan for the crispy pata was delicious as well, perfectly complementing the dish. At Php 695.00 per order this is worth your hard-earned peso! Can serve 3 to 4 people. It's their dish of the month this September. They have a decent restroom. Urinal needs deep cleaning since it's a bit smelly when you flush it. They have liquid hand soap and alcohol inside the restroom while the wash area has a liquid hand soap.We were here Saturday evening, around 7pm. The place easily gets busy from 7pm onwards. I suggest you come early. The supervisor was a bit stressed. She kept on mentioning the lacking order of a group of guests outside, better to check the order slip and tick those that were served to identify which orders are lacking. She's hardworking, though and acted quickly when tables were needed by incoming guests.

Timothy Yap12:21 06/24/20
Safety protocols were in place & clients were greeted & informed politely with dine-in procedures. Food was very good too as the rib's meat was very tender & juicy.

Ching Pangilinan06:32 02/19/20
Great ambiance combined with great food. I had the four-cheese pizza which is good for three to four people. The chicken wings are also delicious, with the upgraded chicken isaw. Reasonably priced for the quality of its dishes. Can be a bit chilly so bring a hoodie.

This place deserves more recognition. Food here is superb. My favorite dish here is Pan Seared Salmon with Mango Cilantro Salsa. To add Chef Vince used be a regular guest chef at KrisTV and also cooked to other local celebrities.

Very happy with the service and food. The salad, coffee and ribs were all top notch. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is our seating. We were in a small bland room with no view of the advertised scenery.

Great place to get a real Australian beef steak. This was cooked well and the service was good, you can also get take away frozen steaks. Well worth a visit. Great meat, tender. One word of warning, do not become too friendly with the staff, as our waiter managed to trackdown where we lived and showed up a day or 2 later to ask for money for his departed relative.(scam) Not cool, and to be fair it is a breach of trust. Yes this actually happened. i will not name him but it was seriously messed up.So beware if you are a foreigner.

Affordable steaks and side dishes. Their service is also good. But only 4 stars to their ambiance and place, since lighting’s a bit off. They can do better than their present set up. Nonetheless, will definitely come back for their steaks!

Quality and affordable steaks in San Fernando? you better check this place out! Plus their service is outstanding. Went here around 9pm but the place is already closed, the staffs are about to eat their dinner but they still opened their doors for us because the manager is worried that we might be hungry. And yes they did not disappoint! Good food and good service here.

The steak here is definitely among the best I've had so far in the Philippines, and the price is reasonable for the serving. The serving size and quality of the side dishes and salad leave a lot to be desired, but the gravy, dressing, and condiments are quite good. Will surely try their burger when I go back, and may update the overall rating 😉

Great steak escape on a quick brunch ride here in Pampanga… a must try for all you steak lovers out there. Yummy! 😋👍🏻

Friendly staff. Ample parking. Can't complain with their price. You can enjoy tender, tasty steak for less than 300 pesos. Garlic rice was flavorful and worth the extra calories. Service was also fast. Highly recommended

Best steak in Pampanga. Their ribeye is always perfect. Tomahawk too if you can spare some. You'll never regret a visit. I always prefer their steaks vs any other restos thar offer the same cuts. They offer take homes too.

Must visit if you like seafood - grilled, baked or fried.

What a night to cap our day! We were able to taste a true Kapampangan cuisine! The soup of tahong was a delight. The sisig, as always, was cooked well, with less oil on the hot plate. The paco, mixed with salted eggs and tomatoes, was delicious.

The best Filipino food since that I'm in Philippines

Mai Ong05:06 02/25/23
Went here to treat the long time Nanny of my kids on her Birthday.Everything was good. You will choose the raw food on the spot and they will cook it for you. They priced their good either per dish or per 100 grams.I got so excited choosing the seafoods and didn't pay attention much to the price per dish. When billing came, I was surprised that the 7 pcs shrimp Tempura cost P1400 😂Total food order amounted to about P3400 for 7 pax.All the dishes were good, will want to come back next time.Draw side? the counter where you will order has lots of Flies because of the raw items.

Went here with my friends. A good place to have your gathering be it small or big groups. No need to be trouble on what to prepare for your guests at home. They have lots of food choices to offer and it does not take a long time for them to cook your food.

Yummy, non-expensive food. Lots of open space. Provides a sense of security given the pandemic.

Best value for money for an 8 course meal! The serving sizes are huuuuuge! We even got to take home the left overs. Soft drinks are on the house. The staff are very well trained, you'll always have water or drinks in your glass. The interior is also pretty interesting. Bring a permanent marker if you want to leave a mark on their wall 😉 There are parking spaces for 2 cars.

This is worth the drive from Manila. The best food I had by far. Serving is huge, presentation at it's finest, dishes simply delicious. Chef Dennis prepares the meal right infront of you and personally serves the food to the table. We went for lunch, an 8-course meal that started with freshly baked bread-crusty on the outside, soft and warm on the inside paired with dip of olive oil with fish flakes - not the regular bottled or preserved store bought fish flakes but cooked fresh from the kitchen's catch of the day. The summer salad is colorful-beautifully nestled on top of fresh greens are slices of dragon fruit, apple, ripe mango thinly sliced singkamas, pinipig crunch topped with sweet and creamy dressing with a hint of what I think is juice of pineapple. The salmon is served with crispy skin and caramelized sugar that cracks like crème brûlée. The pasta is mixed with sauce of pork sisig-another uniquely delicious meal. The braised beef melts in your mouth, so soft you can just lift this meat with a toothpick. The pork liempo is perfect, the crispy skin separates from the meat, making it even more appealing. The coffee jelly dessert will keep you awake after a much satisfying meal. I recommend calling way ahead to reserve a table. If you want to impress your family, your neighbor, your foreign guests or your boss, your classmates or friends.. bring them here, you'll be proud you did.

SUPERB food!!!! A very informative chef. Well, he is a friend from San Beda College. Hahaha. Oh not that our Bedan brotherhood had any impact on this review. As a chef myself, I will never compromise my taste and food experience simply because of our Bedan relation.

Home of Authentic Kapampangan Cuisine more than 50 years and still counting. Nostalgic. Comfort food.

Went to this place to have a taste of Pampanga’s cuisine. Reviews about the resto online were good so I thought might as well give it a try. Parking space is limited to 8 vehicles, so during peak hours you may have to park on the road. The resto has a rustic feel and you’ll be greeted by food choices on “stante” turo-turo style. We decided to go for the fried dalag, okoy and embutido. The dalag and embutido did not disappoint (embutido on the salty side though but was still good). The okoy was already stale no longer crispy. Plus point- very friendly and accommodating staff. They kept on offering bulalo soup which was suoerb. Minus point- a bit on the pricey side for a gloried turo-turo style resto. Are we going back? For the embutido and dalag maybe.

10 out of 5! Love the simplicity and authenticity of the food and place. It's a place where you would love to bring your loveones.

Wen Clemnt04:50 06/04/22
One of the oldest restaurant in Pampanga serving traditional home cooked meals. It is also one of the most expensive restaurants I have eaten. The restaurant is big and has a function area to cater to big occasions. Their regular dining area is canteen style or carinderia style where all the food are displayed in an enclosed glass.Although i think the prices for each food is over priced All the food we have tried are good.Staff are attentive and quick to serve you.You can find exotic dishes here like the frogs and crickets or camaru. You might be surprised that That the camaru costs P900. Per small plate. Other food costs P350. To P650.They don’t have show you menu where you can see the prices so you can better ask first so you wont be surprised. If you have little cash that’s bad for you since they don’t accept credit cards or gcash. They only accept cash payment.

Food was good. Place is good. Recommending it to travelers who would like to have a hot meal and also taste their delicious pancit palabok ❤️🙏

Maricris Cunan14:27 11/12/17
Thay have the best Camaru (stir fried cricket) I ever tasted. They also served other authentic kapampangan dishes like betute (stuffed frog), tidtad (pig blood stew), morcon, puchero. Deep fried hito with buro and mustasa. This is a must visit place if you want to experience Kapampangan cuisine.

The place looks nice but somewhat gloomy and dull. The food tasted great, had I been 10 years younger. Medication is a must! Had to pay full price for half the options available in the buffet. But it was a great experience.

Sabian Lee06:34 06/30/23
Excellent food choices, and very good value for money. 298 pesos for a lunch buffet is unbelievable, the food is delicious.

Audrey Ramos15:59 05/14/23
Celebrated mother's day here at Holidayland for only 388 unlimited per adult. The place was shocking because we didn't know that there is a function hall for events such as debut, wedding, etc. Its open for dine in and can accommodate lots of people.Food: the food for its price, it offers many varieties of dishes and desserts for the price of 388. I really liked the tawilis, crablets and adobong balot. Their pork and beef was super tender great for the elderly. Also their vegetable salad was phenomenal because they paired it with the sweetest and ripest spicy mangoes. I really liked it. However, my grandma was looking for their ginataang suso which they offered before but we didn't see it there. They have halo halo and kakanin for dessert.Parking: we also didn't know that they have a huge parking area at the back. I think many customers also don't know about this because they and we were trying to fit in front and it was congested. Maybe because there's a lack of signage to instruct.

First time eating here and i really enjoyed the food. For the price and the food you get i think its a very good deal. Food tasted very good and fresh. I would definitely come back here and eat again!

Mark Anthony Bautista21:06 09/26/22
Food that was served were good. I couldn't ask for more as the price is also reasonable. You can find variety of foods they serve from vegetables, soup, meat, beef and seafood. On top of that they also serve filipino dessert. One thing that can be improved by the management is their comfort room, I didn't appreciate that they do not maintain it properly, it stings and was not maintained properly.

Katherine Cortes07:59 07/08/22
Surprised by the quality of this buffet. For P268 per person, you get to eat delicious Filipino dishes + salads + halo-halo. Love the kare-kare, balot ala pobre, dinakdakan, and crispy kangkong. The batirol shake and hot batirol are also a must-try.There are indoor & outdoor dining areas. Plenty of parking spaces.

Marylaine Dujunco23:19 12/12/21
Great all day breakfast! Unlimited garlic rice that is tasty and not oily. Delicious and comforting chocolate de batirol. Adequate social distancing. Option of al fresco dining. Large parking. Accepts credit card.
