Illustrado is located in the historic old quarter of Intramuros Manila. We sat outside under a tented area. We ordered the Kambing (goat) kaldereta, kare kare, paella illustrado, and rellenong bangus (stuffed milkfish). Unfortunately none of the dishes had much flavor to them. My 3 stars indicates they were ok, not bad, nothing special or memorable. The paella was especially disappointing since it seems to be the signature dish. The amount of seafood was lacking, no clams/mussels or squid, less than a handful of bay scallops, and 2 prawns. Take the disappointment from the paella and just apply to the other dishes. Expectations were higher but not unrealistic. Not worth it and would not recommend.

Mr. Naoki05:19 06/28/23
Probably the best restaurant in Intramuros and definitely a contender for top restaurants in Manila. Absolutely delicious Filipino and Spanish food, everything we had was good, paella, eggplant, and fried chicken dishes were stand-outs for me. Drinks were good as well, definitely recommend the mango daiquiri, they have a very wide range of cocktails which is always good. Service was great and atmosphere has a very old Manila vibe (seeing as it is in Intramuros) which was wonderful. For the taste and quality of the food, everything was fairly priced, I would 100% recommend this restaurant if you are around the area. They also have their own parking lot next to the restaurant which is great as Intramuros can be a hard place to find parking.Overall, this restaurant is amazing and definitely lives up to and deserves all of its many rewards. Would definitely recommend you try it if you can!

Domonic D14:37 06/19/23
One of the best meal you could get in ManilaWe order a Gumbas Al Ajillo, Morcon Plaridel and coffees for drink. The morcon is made in beef tenderloin and it was perfect. The beef wasn't over cooked and make a perfect match with their sauceThe Gumbas (prawn) is fresh and didn't have any fishy taste. The sauce is a little bit sour and make a great match with the prawn

It’s a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Perfect for family gatherings, for couples and other events. Great food, dessert and service. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations. Highly recommended. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

An incredibly delicious restaurant with attentive and professional service! Good food and great ambiance with the trio playing tasteful music throughout dinner and even taking song requests.Would definitely recommend this place if you happen to be in the area with an empty stomach!

The atmosphere and service was excellent. Quiet space inside the walls with great deco in the cafe. The food was good. Not the very best Spanish but have no complaints.

Larissa11:30 11/27/22
Booked and ordered in advance, yet we were served last during our appointment. Serving is Just good for 1 so if you’re a big Group Like US, prepare to wait Even with advanced orders. Nothing spectacular on the food.

Norsa'adah14:44 09/12/22
Entrance a bit bottled neck. Need to take stairs to first level. A bit dark. There are old pantings at the wall. The tables are nicely decorated. Buffet styles. Spanish theme dinner. The appetiser is a bit bitter. Spaghetti, seafood, chicken, curry lamb are nice. The fruits and dessert are also nice. Asked ice cubes twice before served.

Charlotte Noquiao (wllkrstnchrltt)06:21 06/21/22
A bit pricey but the food is still good. We were served with an undercooked paella the last time. I love the sampaguita ice cream 🍨Booking a table is recommended, and there is free parking inside their premises.

Went to have a quick lunch, tired from exploring the walled city, but boy we ended up staying for more than an hour, lol.The ambiance was very nice, and the food were really good as expected. Staffs were also courteous and attentive. Would definitely go back again.

Nix Nicolas09:46 07/06/23
Surprised to see this place still alive & kicking since the 80s. Caesar Salad is still good, although I remember a stronger anchovy taste. Steaks were tender and cooked exactly how we liked them. French onion soup and the cakes were nice but nothing spectacular, and the cakes seemed too sweet after a while.

Elaine De Los Santos21:26 06/27/23
I went here primarily for their coffee sans rival and it did not disappoint. The omelette was served really late. Yup, dessert was served before the meal! I tried cancelling the omelette, but the server said that it was already being prepared. The omelette was nothing special - it had mushrooms, cheese, sausage in it and had potatoes and pan de sal on the side. The staff were attentive and courteous. The ambience of the place was very elegant and homey.

Engelbert Tabones12:15 04/16/23
I like their spaghetti bolognese; it's good and meaty. Their spaghetti puttanesca is not so good. Their pot roast beef is very tender, its sauce is on the sour side, still good to pair with rice.Their oyster rockefeller is also very good.

Nica Hipol12:49 02/19/23
Great place for family to dine with every occasion, and even for business meetings or colleagues dinner. Had a wonderful experience here and so my tummy. Lots of different variety of flavorful, and delicious dishes, like steak, salad, pasta, pastries, etc. Quality food with big serving (generous amount), and good price range. Really love their Seafood Linguine Pasta, together with Paella Valenciana, and Mario's Caesar Salad. Cozy ambience, so relaxing. And the staffs were accommodating, from the parking attendants up to the waiters as we enter they welcomed us with a big smile on their faces. Excellent service I may say.

Edgar Kho04:06 01/28/23
I believe this is one of older steak restaurant i the Metro hence the place feels old but it's not bad. Though it would feel more a casual dining experience. Food (steak) is still great, though I wished more sauce/gravy were given. It also comes with complimentary bread and butter but no complimentary dessert with it. Also tried their pasta and it is good!

Nicole Velasco09:58 09/26/22
If you're looking for flavorful, delicious , big serving plates for family gatherings. This is the perfect place for you!Ranging from Pasta, Seafoods and Pastries, ribs and steaks, you won't regret.Note of the price range though, the price fits it's food quality. So it's really good to go here when there's an occasion, or if you're up for grabs on some good food, it's worth a try.

Lorenzo Solis14:44 06/23/22
Mario's is a Tomas Morato staple. If you want to enjoy a decent meal with family, this is the place to go. The food is well prepared and so are the staff. We loved everything from the Ceasar salad, to the appetizers - Gambas, Oyster Rockefeller and especially the steak.Overall all this is a 4 out of 5.Pro tip:Parking slots are limited so come in early.

Gilbert O'Sullivan03:37 02/21/22
The ambience is old-school and service matches with attention to detail. The food was ok - my pork chops were a bit dry despite my asking for them cooked medium, and they came with the most unpleasantly sweet onion sauce on top - just excessively sugaryEverything else was fine and my friend's steak was ok if very fattyProbably appeals to local sweet-tooth taste but expats will find it not of a more traditional style given the attraction to lots of sugar in the cooking

Parking is full when we arrived at 11am so we parked on the side street. The staff were helpful and dedicated to their job. Their Bagnet Kare-kare is among my favorites and so with their beef sinigang in watermelon. All the food we ordered including the chicharon Bulaklak tasted good and fresh. If you're looking for a native restaurant, then you can give this a try.

Renz Dela Cruz06:03 06/25/23
The food, especially the bagnet kare-kare, is well presented, though the pork can be a hit or miss because there is a hint of oldness when I tasted a piece of it.The 3 cups of rice are plenty. The salad dish and salted egg shrimp & crablet are delicious.I will reiterate that the pork needs quality control so that it smells and looks fresh.

Lovely Adap Maniri00:21 06/10/23
Listing the food we had last night by how we liked it and surely we will recommend 1. Seafood Kare Kare 2. Stuffed Bulaklak ng Kalabasa 3. Tofu Sisig 4. Squidobo 5. Salted Egg Shrimps with Crablets, and the last two dish that we had which our least fave and probably won’t recommend are the Pancit Canton and the Sinigang na Salmon sa Bayabas. I am a “sinigang na sabaw” type of person, and I am disappointed with their sinigang. Walang ka asim asim yong sinigang nila, and lastly their Pancit canton, parang walang lasa na boring na ewan. I really can’t explain. I don’t like it at all. And of all the dish that we had, yong pancit canton lang ang maliit ang serving. But, the good thing about the resto are: they have a good space for car park, the ambiance of the resto is soo good. Yong after a long day at work e pupunta ka for dinner? The ambiance is so relaxing. And lastly, they have a menu for vegetarian peeps. So if you’re looking for vegetarian restaurant, you might want to check the uploaded menu! You may thank me later! 😜

Arnold Santiago13:08 06/03/23
Last we dined in this resto was before the start of pandemic. Wrong move that we skipped ordering Tadyang (which used to be a favorite of mine) but instead tried the beef brisket. It was not that good. Glad though that their Kare-kare is still good as we were disappointed with the beef.

Tins Zara05:33 05/09/23
A little bit fancier than the other Filo restaurant around the block. I'd say this resto is for the more mature/classy diners who want a bit of sophistication and peace in their dining experience. We are a big family so we reserved the 'closed in room' as we don't want to disturb others. The staff were kind enough to accommodate us on all our requests. Foodwise, those are what you'd expect from the dish but was beautifully presented in unusually platters.

Ani Dy10:32 02/19/23
Great place, helpful and kind people working here.Food quality is a far cry from online reviews on famous blogs.Kare kare bagnet was just okay, apart from the meat being so tough and dry, not juicy at all. Bagoong was fortunately well cooked and seasoned just right. The laing is 1 out of 5 stars, they didn't cook the coconut oil enough for it to give that caramelized taste.Salted egg chicken skin, lacked taste. Needed some pepper and salt. It did't taste salty at all.The sisig is okay. But sisig hooray or king sisig does better.Overall, they need to cook better. People who cook can tell if things are off or excessive.Garlic rice was mainly plain rice topped with garlic, make some effort improving it considering the price difference.

Kay Posadas04:47 11/17/22
I regret ordering the adobong tadyang as I was not expecting to get something that tastes like Korean beef stew. Like, who expects to taste the flavor of Korean galbi stew when they see adobo on the menu? I don't even recall tasting any sort of vinegar or sour taste in that sauce. Their steamed pompano and salted egg crablets and shrimp were good. Laing was not too spicy, which is good for me, but probably not for a trueblue Bicolano. Their desserts were a winner, particularly the pecan pie and ube calamansi cheesecake but the slices are understandably smaller now thanks to inflation. This was the first time again in 10 years that I went back to eat here, service is always topnotch, but stick to ordering their bestsellers like bagnet kare-kare.

Steffi Santana07:23 07/27/22
The salad and buffalo cauliflower was delicious! Service could improve (some waiters not wearing mask even during service).

April Karla Victoria09:08 07/15/22
The food was great! It wasn't my first time to visit but I liked my orders this time as well. The place is so pleasant too and even their staff are nice. 😊Just didn't like that my wine was served before my meal, so by the time my meal came, it wasn't chilled anymore. Even our appetizer came after our main course, as well. 😅 But all in all, still good.

Arvin Chester Abreu07:46 05/22/22
One of the best Filipino-themed restaurants in Quezon City! Everything that we ordered were so good! 😊😊😊

While walking, looking for a place to have my lunch. I came by and saw the food that they ordered, the curiousity filled my mind and tried to dine in. The food they have was not only mouth watering but tasted absolutely delicious. Going to come back soon and invite friends over.

Even if they see an elderly person in wheelchair they will nit ask for a senior id for discount. Food is good except for the tilapia. The guard is gery helpful, he helped us coz my mom is on wheelchair.

André Cleofe04:23 12/26/22
Had lunch on a weekday here. I am uncertain if it were a timing thing, or because it was the height of the holiday season, but this place was mostly empty. This to me translated to it being more quiet. The food in and of itself was delicious, and the portions were big. There were three of us, and we could hardly even finish the food. The service though, was lacking. I'm glad that they didn't hover, but they also didn't keep an eye out for our table, which I'm made to understand is standard for sit down places like this. Perhaps it's because it was a slow day? Anyway, they do eventually get back to us so it's all good.I'd come back, for the wonderful food alone.

Great Filipino Cuisine taken to a higher standard. This restaurant offers delectable local dishes with savory taste that'll keep you asking for more rice. Staff works fast and is accomodating. Offers big dining seats on the middle part of the floor. Just need an extra focus on cleaning tables though as it feels it needs another wipe or so. Social distancing is observenas well.Kindly give a LIKE 👍 if this helps!Follow ME for my other REVIEWS!

I just recently discovered Ombu Kusina at Sequioa Hotel. I'll definitely come back. They offer Filipino Cuisine with fusion. You should definitely try Crunchy Tadiang. Actually every dish is extraordinary. And most importantly they're not overpriced. Affordable with huge servings.

Great food and good place to eat! The place is perfectly cozy for lunch dates in this hot weather. Their staffs are hospitable and kind. They automatically refill your empty glass of water. Their food is delicious and served stylishly. I am fascinated and amaze with area. Their serving size is good for sharing. It would be nice to bring your family or friends or love ones at this place.

Lauren Tiffany06:16 04/06/23
Overall all, a good place to try. Food served are good for sharing. The main dishes are the typical Filipino food, nothing speical. However a good place for merienda.Food we ordered:Sisig pizza - worth a try. Thin crust pizza with sisig on top.Garlic rice - usual garlic rice, I personally would like it with more garlicky tasteSalted egg spaghettini - interesting twist, it has a grainy texture due to the salted egg.Binakol - very generous serving of chicken, and they gave additional soup. We were a group of 7 people and it was more than enough. The soup tastes saltier once the soup gets cold.Thrice cooked crispy pata - very crunchy skin and tender meat.Tortang talong - regular taste, pretty platingMix seafood laing - we can't find the seafood, might be mixed in the laing already. Tastes like regular laing.⭐ Frozen brazo - one of the best Brazo I've tried so far. Must try! Could be shared by 2 people.⭐ Tres leches halo-halo (junior) - Must try! They use shaved milk ice, not just regular shaved ice.Service - attentive and nice servcie staffAtmoshphere - if you are eating with other big groups, the place tends to get noisy.

Liza Lakwatchera07:42 04/03/23
Good food with great ambience! The place is cold and cozy -- perfect for having lunch dates in this hot weather. The staffs are very attentive. They quickly offer to refill water once they notice your empty or near-empty glasses. The food is delicious. Their sisig pizza is interesting, while the calamares is tender and not overcooked. Serving size is good for sharing. It would be better to bring your family or friends, so you can try more of their menu.

Rosheena Lynne Feliciano11:29 02/20/23
The food was great. Yummy Trio Cheese Pizza together with garlic sauce. The bilao we had was amazing as well. The halo halo was the bomb! It was so creamy and tasty, definitely going back again.

Food tastes great. The supreme clubhouse was great but it would've been better if it's not that toasted so it'll be easier to eat. Overall service was also great. Staff's very attentive and approachable. 10/10 would recommend!

Hamil Shi08:01 08/27/22
Most of the positive feedbacks, already mentioned. So, i will only make a shoutout to the server "Melvin", who really made our dining experience, more exceptional. Always ready to serve and answer questions. Service is really A-Ok.If local is your craving, then this is it. Foods are not perky, but really delicious and price is just right because servings are mostly for sharing. Ambience is also perfect.Really satisfying experience.

Late review but still posting this for reference of other people that might be interested. My mom and I ate at this restaurant on my birthday. Everything was all good not until it was time to pay the bill. We initially forgot to inform them (but this usually happens to us in other resto as well) that we had a senior citizen card. When the bill came out the server told us that we should immediately inform them about having an sc card so they don't have to redo the bill in a rude tone and that this is what other establishments does as well. My mom can't forget this type of interaction until this day which is why I am hesitant to go back to this restaurant or even recommend this to my friends cause of the service and the way we were treated.

Jo Neck12:15 06/08/23
This was very organized, from the table cloth, utensils, glasses up to the table are consecutive. The staff that invented the other stuff was amazing. Thank you for the wonderful stay and memories that I can share with my friends.

Wonderful fine dining restaurant, with two choices of set menus, attentive and friendly service, and a small and tasteful interior decor. All of the food was very tasty, and there was an extensive wine list to choose from as well. They also have a sister restaurant in Greenbelt too (Sala Bistro), if you are looking for somewhere more casual, but I would recommend coming here for the full experience.

I enjoyed a full course meal alone here around 1pm on a Thursday. Only two other groups seated inside, quiet atmosphere. Ordered tres leches latte 5/5 was so surprised at how delicious it was. Id go back just for this. The new pink salad with beats was next 5/5 this was served alone and I ate all of it without breathing. The parm & yogurt bed plus pesto and veggies were a fantastic combo. Then came the lox schmear - I ofc added egg 5/5. It’s pretty much a salmon eggs benny. The sauce was delicious; adding a bit hot sauce made a perfect flavor palette. For dessert I got the ube overload cake. The side of ube jam was necessary bc it tasted a bit plain but was still yummy 3.5/5.I got a chocolate overload 3/5 and tres leches cake 6/5 to go. Ate those about two days later - the cake straight from the fridge and the chocolate bread after toasting. Appreciated the package instructions for reheating.I dined alone and felt like the staff was attentive and also gave me space. Answered all my qs about the dishes and all the staff said goodbye to me super friendly on my way out - not sure if this was cuz I was alone or it wasnt busy or just because it’s normal. But it was very nice! Definitely going back!

We ordered:Goat cheese puff pizza 3⭐️/5Blackout Bowl 4⭐️/5Gallo Pinto 4⭐️/5Kimchi Gyoza 4⭐️/5Tres Leches 5⭐️Signature Iced Tea 2⭐️/5The Goat cheese pizza was too rich, maybe add a little acidic flavor to balance it out? This was our least favorite and we didnt get to finish it.The Blackout bowl was okay, I was impressed that they got the black rice to be soft and chewy. But it lacked flavor.Gallo Pinto was delicious and not too overpowering. The presentation was nice too.Kimchi gyoza was nothing special, it tasted like just another gyoza. The tres leches was so good. It had a hint of cinnamon that wasn’t too overpowering. The cream balanced the flavor of the milk. The iced tea was too sweet for me.The chicharon teriyaki is their best seller. It was good but I found the bagnet hard to chew.Overall, the food was great but not spectacular. The servers were attentive and polite. I reserved a table thru their instagram account and they responded within a reasonable amount of time. The tables were too close to each other so you could hear the conversation on the other table. I would probably come back for the desserts and maybe try their coffee next time.

Had a pleasant dinner here. I find their menu items unique and unfamiliar which I totally love. Great for an intimate dining experience. Great service, too. A bit pricey, but their food looks good and you’ll definitely experience unusual flavors here.

I went here for my birthday and I made the right choice. They were flexible and accomodating with my reservation, even with numerous changes. The place itself has a cozy vibe, though it is small I think its a strength. The food itself was honestly so unique and its rare you can find this anywhere else. It was delicious and the flavors were complex. Its fairly pricey but for me seems pretty worth it.The service was good as well.I would definitely come back here and try more of their dishes.

Small dining space. Tables too near to each other, you can hear what the other table/guest discussions 😆Waiter didn't get all the orders because his always on a rush.Food & drinks menu--letters small to read, no pictures, really needs improvement.Food taste is good but expensive for its size.Overall, it's good for a try.

Enjoyed the dessert more than the mains. Although their offerings sound so innovative, the different dishes do not seem to be designed for them to be had together. Maybe they could suggest pairings for a better experience.Given that the food isn't that cheap, the seats could be more comfortable. The table could hardly accommodate the plates, the food, and drinks. Even the table legs are awkwardly positioned once tables are put together.I do love the desserts. The nutty mocha with their ube cardamom cake was delicious!

Love food in this place. Will recommend to visit if you come to Philippine. Their dessert are so beautiful and yummy. And a lot of choice to pick from that are good but of course we could not try them all. Here are some of the recommend dishes we have go for.Note that place are not big and seat are limited. Visited on weekday and we did a reservation prior the day.Food : 👍🏻 tasty and goodLocation : easy to assist with grabService: 👍🏻Will come back again for sure.

First time dining here and I was really impressed by their food selection and the taste overall. But most especially, their servers were superb! Who don't want good food and great customer service experience right? Highly recommended if you want food that’s special and affordable.

Quite pricey! (4" crema de fruta P450; 1 pc. merci buko cream puff P270) but worth it! Have not tried the savories, but the desserts are very delicious, creative, and well thought out. Staff are very attentive and accommodating. Would come here again for a special occasion.

Must try!Place is quite small but with creative touch. They also have al fresco area.Food is great. Though it's pricey, you can taste the uniqueness of their food. Example: pasta with roe, pizza crust/bread is made puff pastry/croissant-like.Coffee and desserts are great too.

📍Casa BuenasTHE PLACE IS STUNNING! Rented the sala for work. Good for about 15-20 people and comes with a consummable of 50k for weekdays, and 60k for Fridays and Saturdays. Dined in so we can select the food to serve, but finger food lang bec it was a cocktail event.I guess an excuse so I can go back and try the mains and desserts next 💖✨ DO TRY ✨➡️ Chicharon - a mix of pork chicharon, chicken skin and chicharon bulaklak, ugh so sinful but so perfect. This was a hit esp to my overseas guests➡️ Tres Peces Tostada - Citrus cured salmon, tuna and hamachi sitting on thin, crisp cracker topped with micro greens - sarap din esp the salmon➡️ Charcuteria y Quezo - charcuterie board that has a combination of cold cuts, cheese and fruit➡️ Seafood Paella - flavored rice with an assortment of seafood and veggies✅ We also tried most if not all their cocktails and spirits — 11/10 would recommend✅ Staff is very friendly and accomodating, went the extra mile to arrange stuff for us on short notice✅ Parking/valet available at Hotel Okura#wheretoeatinPasay #PasayEats

It's absolutely stunning restaurant I would said, the staffs are 100% excellent with the service, the presentation of the food is amazing too, however, some of the dishes are kind of disappointed with the flavour, but overall, I enjoyed a lot with this beautiful Casa Buenas.

We had merienda at Casa Buenas (located inside Hotel Okura) and we ordered the following:1. Truffle Pizza2. Turon3. Bibingka4. 3 drinksWe liked the truffle pizza. Turon and Bibingka just tasted normal like, no twist anyway it should taste like that.As per the staff who assisted us, the restaurant is owned by Mr. Andrew Tan (emperador, megaworld etc). The interior of this restaurant is inspired from Philippines Island Luzon Visayas and Mindanao. Private events can also be held in their restaurant.🚗 Parking and Valet available at the hotel🚻 they have their own ladies, gent and PWD toilet inside the restaurant♿️ PWD accessible🏆 Great Customer Service 🎉

Lovely and friendly staff made our dining experience a lot more memorable. The food was a mix of classic spanish-filipino flavors with a dash of art! The paella was also divine and if only the bottom was a bit more scorched, it would have been more than perfect. Also if you plan to dine, it would be best to reserve a table. They would also suggest to advance your orders so that you won't have to wait for your food.

We came for Valentine's Day 2021, and the overall dinner was very good. We truly appreciated all the effort that went into producing a Valentine's day ambiance, which made the dinner feel very special. It's still one of the best date settings we've experienced so far. The service was quick and attentive, dishes were paced accordingly, the unlimited wine was fun.The food was good. In line with the ambiance, the presentation was fantastic. The seasoning and cooks were generally good, but a couple included parts in a few of the dishes were underwhelming. The overall meal was still satisfying. We can't say how this speaks of the normal menu, but there is obviously care that goes into crafting the food.

Pleasant experience here, despite the time I spent here, will go back here for sure with my wife. The food is tasty! Service is fast and attends to our needs. The ambiance is traditional and modern at the same time. Will explore and try more things here. They also do a 7 course meal and other activities, which we are looking forward to experiencing. The price is reasonable.

Maysheen Tiu07:59 05/16/22
The tapas are really good, very flavorful and they try to make it different. I've tasted better paella, but theirs isn't bad either. The service is superb. And the interior is one of the most unique in the Philippines. They can also host intimate weddings and events. A bit on the pricey side but an experience worth trying.PS. try to reserve the room in the middle which has the best natural lighting and ambiance

Jess Yadao07:01 02/21/22
Beautiful, breathtaking interiors 😍 food is delicious, highly recommend trying out Sinulog (chicken) and paella (non-traditional as the traditional one was a bit too crunchy for me). Pizza and salmon appetizers delicious as well but might be too overpowering with the intense flavors of the dishes. Overall a must try!

The food experience is unique here. Rather than the usual shared viands in Filipino cuisine, expect individual set orders instead (although the servings are very large). There are many sets that are very interesting, and you're really going to want to come back! I personally usually go for the Adobo Project 1 myself.

Nikki P. (Girl Behind the Glasses)08:56 05/23/23
Really friendly and helpful staff. The servings for food were good enough for sharing. Highly recommend their Alabang Fried Chicken. It’s so delicious we ordered another one to take home.

April Adrales23:32 01/26/23
We celebrated my mom’s birthday here. Almost everything is good and delicious! Their portion sizes are bigger than expected. I love the interior of the place and the food quality is amazing. I love the kare kare dish and tokwat baboy.

Belinda Nantes22:57 09/10/22
The Filipino fusion is unique and the serving size per order is generous enough for 2-3 persons. It is just weird that during our visit, we can’t use their restroom due to the private events they were having. Anyway, good thing here, the staff & crew were still accommodating to the walk-in customers even there were private events.

Dyan Ricasata14:55 08/09/22
Not all food are amazing. There are some that are too salty. But the customer service is great. The place is nice. The serving size is big enough for 3-4 pax so price is reasonable.

Charlotte Noquiao (wllkrstnchrltt)10:59 07/09/22
Things I loved about this place is their very friendly and polite staff, the location of the restaurant, and the genius twist on Filipino dish. Their sinigang paella is a must try, crispy kangkong is great. Tokwa and seafood is highly recommended. Good for 2-3 people per serving. They also serve alcoholic beverages such as beer and wine.

Celebrated Special Occasions in Filipino Fusion RestaurantThe place is easy to spot since it is near the entrance of Westgate Center. This restaurant is located on a long stairway which is also good for photo ops. The interior is old, simple and neat.At the entrance, the crew were enthusiastically welcoming. They are attentive and energetic. They know their menu that we could ask their recommendations. In all fairness, we liked what we ordered. They were mostly common Filipino food but with a twist. Unexpectedly, we all liked the Pinakbet Salad, it is crunchy and flavorful. We also liked our dessert, Fried Suman, Mangga and Chocnut. The combination blended well. Other dishes are good too. The menu just need to specify if the dish is good for a group meal or for single serving.I believe it takes creativity and talent to create a new recipe from the food we use to love but they did. They just didn't change the appearance but make a new texture and experience. It is therefore a good fusion and we liked it. 👍

Dana C11:47 03/12/22
Food was okay. The crab fat palabok tasted good. I also loved the sinigang paella. The pork dinuguan was too sour for my taste. I only gave them 2 stars because they served me raw squid. It was raw I had a hard time slicing it with my knife. I had to ask them to grill it again. It ruined my appetite. It was my first time dining there and I will never go back again.

Real Customer Reviews at TGI Fridays:

Michael C08:05 07/15/23
My recent visit to this branch was incredibly disappointing due to the consistently inattentive service.Despite the place not being crowded, it took more than 15 minutes of raising my hand to catch the servers' attention. Eventually, I had to approach the manager, who was not a bit apologetic with the situation. The lack of attentiveness and poor customer service is quite disappointing, and I cannot recommend this branch.

Eizen Barleta10:06 06/24/23
A popular spot for after-work or weekend celebrations and hangouts. Expect a lot of waiting on heavy hours such as Friday nights. The place gets full during these times so you need some time for a table to be available. The attendants are really busy especially on peak hours as they try to accommodate all guests inside and out, so be a little more patient if you have requests.Watch out for dining promos in partnership with selected banks.

April Villegas23:18 06/20/23
It's a recommended place to eat with your friends. Foods and beverages being offered are a bit pricey but worth the purchase, also come with generous servings. The restaurant has good customer service from the front desk to the dining area. The place is clean as well.

JM Juayong23:40 04/30/23
The buffalo wings (wasn't able to take a picture of it) were in cute size and it was too salty for my taste. I've been told that they made the sauce from scratch that's why it tasted like that. Nachos tasted good and in large portions as well. The drinks were okay but as you can see the ice is 3/4 of the drink. We also ordered Three-meat platter. It was okay but I was expecting more because of the price. The staff are okay but I recommend that they add more.

R03:42 11/22/22
Love their foods, drinks and ambience! Combination of delicious food, good drinks and nice interior background. Their services also good. But sometimes it has long queue. So come early before lunch or dinner.

ベニートロキ05:01 11/20/22
I think this is a nice restaurant. Wish the prices were more budget friendly, but nonetheless, they serve their best tasting meals which is a good value for money. Overall it is a nice place to eat and relax. It is usually not too busy and we usually get our food in a timely manner.I think good customer service is always a fantastic thing. The Filipino hospitality observed from the front door to dining tables, looking presentable, clean, well spoken and with a smile on their faces will leave all customers pleased. The place is always clean, including their facilities and utensils.Easy to recommend.

Kat C05:01 06/21/22
I don’t know why we returned here again - what a mistake. Food is not spectacular and forgettable and it is so undeserving of the menu price. You are better of elsewhere, honestly.

Marie00:05 04/13/22
Superb service. Delish food. Nice ambiance. And beautiful alfresco dining area under the trees and lights. :)Friday's will always be one of my go-to places for a sumptuous dinner and dessert! I'm a big mocha mud pie fan for years. Absolutely yum! 😋Thanks Rog, Angel, Ma'am Bern and Ma'am Angel! 🙂

The staff members were accommodating. Food and drinks were served quickly. They also gave free ice cream and greeted my brother with a birthday song. Overall, it was a good experience

Nice Filipino food dine-in with friends or family in QC Kalayaan. Many choices on the menu. Good for lunch and dinner. Love the environment, it's like your in nature. At night, it's an intimate dinning. Service is good and fast. Prices are reasonable. Parking is very hard.

This has been may favorite Sisig since way back high school days at Claret. The sisig never changed. But somehow the only thing that keeps on changing is its cost where now the cost of Sisig is kind of expensive but of course taste didn't changed. Also be reminded of the parking slots here where it is limited. So you need to check and park on other areas just to be able to eat here if you brought your car with you.

Martin J L14:26 03/27/23
Parking is hard especially during the day.Food is a bit pricey for the serving size. But then again nothing is cheap these days.Sisig is not as good as I remember but still good. Molo soup is good as well as the kare kareng gulay! The shrimp paste that goes with it is also super good. The bangus is just so-so.

Bullsandbelles Kennel14:19 02/19/23
Trellis has been one of the long-time favorite restaurants of our family. Sadly, the food doesn't taste the same and kinda expensive compared to other newer restaurants.

Majal Bautista08:54 12/11/22
Nothing can beat this classic dining hangout. Their food has consistently tasted great, giving you a homey experience you want to come back as for their delicacies such as Sisig, Molo Soup, Spicy BBQ, Kare Kare, pancit, Burong hipon and other Filipino treats.Served in an open air setting the ambiance is exudes life with all the greens around you. The waiters are very kind and sincere, they will really guide you with the menu. Thanks mga Kuya!

KC04:00 08/21/22
In my hunt for the best sisig in manila, I saw trellis featured in an article so I decided to drop by since it had such a strong recommendation. The visual treat was sefinitelt a sight to behold with the meat sizzling when it arrives, but disappointment washed over me when I took the first bite of sisig with the garlic fried rice. The pork bbq was another let down, it was hard and obviously precooked and placed aside for customers. My Filipino friends all agreed the food was terrible, it was a sad lunch for us. We left most of it behind and decided to go somewhere else for a 2nd sisig. A Sunday market sisig was the best we had so far.

Blessie Hyacinth Lapore12:54 06/12/22
i forgot to take photos of the place and meals but one the waiters are friendly and approachable but should put their lights more lighter. foods are also good, i recommend their fried rice but the relyenong ampalaya is kinda weird for me.
