Passed by and decided to have a quick snack. Food is good, but we found that menu did have a limited amount of choices. Maybe its just us but we found it lacking those OG Chinese food you'd expect.Service was just fine. For the price of the food, you'd expect better service to translate to the whole experience. One notable thing is their chili sauce (or rather XO) when we asked for chili sauce for our meal. Great flavor and went perfectly well with the dumplingsOverall we'd definitely come back for the sauce .

We had a very enjoyable lunch here. It was some of the best Shu Mai I have had. Also, the Vietnamese Eggs Rolls were fantastic. The service was prefect.

dante sibug07:19 05/04/23
It's a stand alone restaurant in the Greenhills commercial complex. Parking was easy. Food was very good and reasonable. They have this set for five pax which was more than enough for 5 adults and two kids. They don't have service charge but the staff was very attentive and quick. Our favorite in the area.

Elaine RB01:39 04/23/23
Feast for five is definitely like a feast meal for 8 persons! Everything in the menu is love! XLB was soooo goooood! Make sure to enjoy it while it's hot. Will definitely come back.

Krispin Wehrli17:32 12/12/22
Always solid and good quality ingredients. One of the best places for good straight forward Chinese/Taiwanese food. Their staff is efficient and proactive. Also, thank you Cafe Lugang for setting an example and using paper containers instead of plastic containers for take out and delivery. It is so much more sustainable and healthier (micro plastic elimination).Very sad to see that the majority of Manila restaurant companies still didn't get the memo and still are using plastic packaging for everything. Very behind. It's wasteful and unhealthy.Cafe Lugang keep it up! Going forward, I will prioritize you when ordering for delivery because of your paper/card board packaging.

Went on a lunch time but luckily a group just finished and we only waited just so the staff can clean the table.Waiting time for the food to arrive was maybe 15 to 20 minutes.Pork Wontons in spicy chili oil - it was not spicy and the sauce tasted like the knorr liquid seasoningXiao long bao - it was good, the wrapper to filling ratio was a bit off.Mixed mushroom in XO sauce - this one is oily but it's also addicting to eatSpicy beef and tendon noodle soup - again, it was not spicy but it was full of flavor, the beef and noodles were perfect.

Daxe Bulos08:18 11/06/19
Was able to try their feast all you can again! Super happy with our dining experience (we were a big group of 16 pax)We were able to use the private room which was great (10k consumable)What I love about this round is that there are more choices for the house specialties.Top faves: salt and pepper squid (SUPER) pecking duck wrap, pork xlb, wasabi mayo shrimp

Era “era the explorer” T.07:04 02/02/19
Sweet and Sour, wonton and congee tasted good even after we requested less salt and no MSG. Their chili sauce is addicting. The place was cozy. They have a wide array of Taiwanese foods and shakes! Their veggie and truffle steamed dumpling was also good.

We have visited Din Tai Fung at other branches and countries and but this restaurant is our favourite. Food is consistent and delicious and service is second to none. The salted egg yolk squid is a favourite of ours together with the regulars - XLB and pork chop fried rice. I only wish the dry noodles with wontons were spicer. They cater for food intolerances and it does get busy but well worth the wait.

Paolo Umali07:21 07/04/23
I like how the staff explained how to prepare the dipping sauce for the xiaolongbao and how to eat it properly. We aslo ordered the fried pork chop with noodle soup and the seafood dumpling noodle soup. The broth was a bit bland for my taste buds but theres a brewed soy sauce to put so I made it to the saltiness level that I wanted.Expect a line to be seated and also a line for payment. Seems unecessary na pila ulit para magbayad.

And Gag08:19 06/21/23
The restaurant was full, but I was alone and after 5 minutes I have gotten my table. They asking to disinfect your hands when step inside the restaurant and after have placed the order, they will offer the alchol spray. The service was a little bit slow but is normal since the restaurant can host hundreds of people. The food was delicious and the prices are not high considering the restaurant's location.

Kimberly J03:16 06/11/23
I’m sorry but Din Tai Fung, is just hyped. We ordered: Pork Xiao Long Bao, Beef Noodle Soup, Shrimp and Pork Wontons with House Special Spicy Sauce, Crispy Shrimp and Pork Wontons, Chicken Chop Fried Rice, Fried Pork Chop, Braised Beef Noodle Soup, Golden Lava Salted Egg Yolk Buns and the Iced tea concoction that I forgot the name lol. Well, only Pork Xiao Long Bao, Shrimp and Pork Wontons with House Special Spicy Sauce and Salted Egg Yolk buns are delicious. The fried rice is bland. The beef noodle soup though visibly smoking, it’s not that hot and there’s no hint of sweetness. Even though I hate star anise, I didn’t smell and taste it. The beef noodle soup I had in Taiwan in that restaurant under the Chiang Kai-shek memorial and in Shi Lin Binondo tastes better. The staff are accommodating and we didn’t have to wait, we had a table ready and I like that they have a bin to store you bag/s.

Andrew dela Serna12:16 03/05/23
Had an awesome dinner here. We got the Xiao Long Bao, Salted Egg Shrimp, Pork Chop with Fried Rice and Beef Noodle Soup. My only complaint is that the Pork Chop wasn’t as good as the one I had in Singapore. Pro-tip: come early as the lines tend to be crazy long.

Krista16:25 09/12/22
Great restaurant. Has alfresco dining for people with their pets. I wish they would be more considerate and put out an outdoor fan for guests outside. Overall, we enjoyed the food even if we were sweating! 😂 The staff were nice in explaining how to eat and things to order. Service is quite fast too considering we went there on a packed Sunday.

Anne Fernando06:46 08/09/22
Service and quality of food during dinner seems to be subpar especially when compared to how they are during lunch time.*Shrimp & pork wontons with house special spicy sauce - usually the wontons are swimming in their yummy sauce but 2x dinner here and there was barely any sauce on both occasions*Black pepper beef - good flavor but some beef cubes were tough to chew*Crispy shrimp & pork wontons - nowhere to be found as this dish was forgotten; ended up asking them to remove this from our billDishes that were consistently good though: spicy hot & sour soup, salted egg yolk prawns, and pork XLB.

Maxwell Jimenez00:26 06/18/22
Very Tasty, Very EducationalSo I finally got a chance to dine at Din Tai Fung. The long lines for their Xiao Long Bai always kept me away from trying them but after being told of a 15 minute wait time for a table and as suggested by my friend, we endured what felt more like a 30 minute wait. While waiting for our table we were given an order slip where we needed to write our orders on. They were very thorough and precise with their instructions on ordering and this precision and patience in properly instructing you carried on throughout the dining experience. By the way, the order slip didn't have any prices on it so it helps to check their prices online if you dont wanna go over your budget.Their space was huge, enough to host those big circular tables for large families. We were seated next to their open kitchen where the magic was made. The busy open kitchen was a good distraction while waiting for your orders. After giving our order slip it was reviewed and told to wait shortly for our orders. Depending on the type of food, most of our orders came in quick with our order slip being reviewed constantly to check whats being served was correct and what was pending was followed up on.On to the food. We got the house special which was a medly of seaweed and veggies strips. It had a tasty watery sauce which somehow masked the otherwise strong seaweed taste. The fried pork wantons and vegetable noodles came shortly. Both were absolutely delicious. I particularly liked their noodles. While waiting for the rest of our orders, we had a crash course session on how to properly eat and fully appreciate the soup dumplings. One of the servers provided instructions on how to properly eat the baos and how to properly create the sauce (complete with ingredient ratios and a demo too). It was my first time trying their Xiao Long Bao so I had to devote my full attention. Shortly after the very educational interaction, our baos were served freshly steamed. I immediately tried the pork soup dumplings (correctly adhering to the instructions earlier). They were tasty amd had so much pork goodness on them. I had around 2 to three chomps to finish one. We also had some Foie Gras Xiao Long Bao (we were told to have some water first before eating them to cleanse the palate first). I dont normally eat liver but the baos did not have that liver taste I frown on. Every bite of it was a burst of umami flavor that was definitely delightful.Aside from the baos we also had Salted Egg Yolk Prawns and Spareribs. Both were absolutely good and thats saying a lot as I dont normally enjoy eating anything that has salted egg but I ate so much it and the ribs.It was a great first experience with Din Tai Fung. I appreciate how the staff had masterful knowledge on how their food can be fully enjoyed by their diners. The attention to detail and patience was truly as spectacular as all the dishes that we got to try.

Roger Parkerson08:36 06/17/22
Read about this restaurant's origins in Tiawan and wanted to try it. We had late lunch and there was still a line to get in. The restaurant is very clean and the seating is not crowded with many servers to help you out. We tried the dumplings that are the namesake of this place as well as some fried wontons. The service was fast and the food excellent. I should have ordered the larger quantity of dumplings, they are smallish, but as I said very tasty. Food is medium priced, so expect to pay a little more. But if you like dim sum kind of food, but you have to order off a menu instead of rolling carts, then this is your restaurant.

Arya C05:47 06/07/22
It was my first time to dine here as I am not a fan of fads, and this resto has been quite a fad for a time. The price is relatively cheap, and the food is really good. Serving size is also generous. Service is so-so, the front-desk clerk is a bit rude.

Good-sized bento and reasonably priced. I got their curry pork chop bento and cold brew jude black tea. The place is clean and service is ok. Will definitely come back.

High expectations for hometown flavor but the foods are not that good. It’s a tasteless misua and weird fried oysters inside, shouldn’t it be fresh oyster?Chicken rice is tasteless, too.The chicken legs in the sesame oil soup are too dry.Giant size drinks are the best of all, they reminds me Taiwan.

Hope that the business will thrive and continue to grow.Still a lot better than muragame udon.In terms of dining experience and food quality.Hopefully that the food will not going to be served next time on card board boxes.

I love the ambiance, food, and staffs! 🥰 Perfect place to work or catch up with my friends. Wide choices of food and drinks. Vegan-friendly too!

Superb. The ambience is so relaxing and everything is clean and organized. What I liked about it is that they have self serving condiments area which is by the way, one of fhe cleanest condiments area ever. Also, one of the things I always look for in a restaurant is how clean their comfort room. And theirs are so clean and really smells good. The best highlight of my experience here was the food. I wish could try more meals in one sitting. I really loved the red misua oyster, it was soooo delicious. I'm quite excited trying more of their dishessss especially the chicken soup. I'll definitely go back.

Food tastes okay and price is reasonable too. If you're a small eater then maybe just order 1 for sharing coz there's a lot of rice. Would be nice if they offer free soup!Comfy chairs, clean comfort room and wide space.

Packed exactly like the pentong box in Taiwan.. I am so happy they did everything right!! The taste brings me back to Taipei!!! Worth the price!! Will order again and again!!! Probably the only difference from Taiwan is the free Yakult drink for every pentong box to aid in digestion. But still, Thank you for making everything correct! Keep it up!!!

Its an alternative place to grab some Taiwanese style noodles in the area where Chinese cuisine is quite common. Dishes tends to be a bit mild with the flavor profile especially with the meat. Noodle is good with lots of garnishing but less meat which is leaning more on the veggie and healthy meal background of the store. Prices are quite affordable. Portioning and serving time is ok.

Sansan Chichi13:52 07/09/23
Good food at affordable prices. Pretty good food but not the best. Still worth a visit for those craving for some eatery style Taiwanese food. I recommend getting the porkchop fried rice, which comes in a generous portion. The scallion pancake with beef (I forget what it’s called) is on the crispier side, I prefer it being chewy. My mother in law, who’s from China, enjoyed the fishball soup so much. They also sell a lot of frozen goods that you can just heat or cook at home.

Marie Claire Victoria06:20 05/17/23
Food was good, very reasonably priced and these were served promptly. Food servers are very attentive. They also have chillers packed with ready to cook food in case you fancy bringing home some. Would recommend. 😊

Sophie Sy07:40 04/04/23
Tucked at the other end of Banawe, Uniku is a nice Taiwanese Restaurant that serves one particular dish which brings me back to my roots (read through to find out what that dish is!)Location:You can find Uniku opposite of 238 Banawe Center. Unless you turn your head, you may end up missing this place. Parking is not a lot, but there are plenty of streets nearby to park your cars.Atmosphere/Interior:Can I just say that I am appreciating that more and more Chinese restaurants are steering away from the traditional dining setup and design into a more modern, minimalist interior. Uniku has a clean look, with little to no red (something you often find in Chinese restaurants). The place is small, so if you are coming in for lunch, come a bit early since it does get busy fast.Service:The employees are somewhat attentive. When we ate here, there were three servers serving the entire restaurant, though keep in mind that the place isn't large either. Most of them didn't have much enthusiasm serving so maybe that's why they didn't seem attentive.Food:The server will come to your table and you select from the menu what you want to eat. You could also ask the server to give you the paper listing all the menu items so that you can be the one to write what you'd like to have. We ordered fried rice with porkchop (P250), Signature Sichuan Noodle Soup (P240), Flaky Scallion Pancake (P90), and Adobo Pork Ear (P170).The Flaky Scallion Pancake 💙 had me on cloud nine with a wave of nostalgia. It tasted like home and while it needed a bit more flaky texture, the flavor hit the spot! It wasn't drowning in sauce, had the right chew and thickness to it.The Adobo Pork Ear was also impressive. It stewed well and you'd think it was salty, but it had a good balance of umami flavors. The ear itself had a bouncy bite and the cartilages added a good crunch. This paired well with the fried rice especially with the sauce. The Fried Rice with porkchop didn't have anything too special about it, but the meat to breading ratio was something to applaud for. Most restaurants would have more breading than meat, but Uniku does it well. The crust was not too hard that you'd scar the roof of your mouth, but it wasn't too soft that you feel like you just ate soggy bread crumbs. The Signature Sichuan Noodle Soup was the only one that didn't impress us so well. The noodles didn't have that bouncy or chewy texture, rather it felt like the thick noodle you'd have when you eat Palabok. It didn't match with the soup. The flavor needed a bit more salt and most of all spice since it is a "Sichuan" soup.Overall, I'd highly recommend trying the place out and of course we'll be back for more, perhaps we'll try a difficult noodle dish! Until we eat again!

Symon Chan17:15 02/23/23
Menu is fairly priced for the amount you get, fairly small place so service isn't half bad, but parking is a bit limited. For a taiwanese restaurant though the food was a little bland, other than the soyed pork ears the other dishes lacked seasoning for me, nothing a few extra condiments won't fix but it's a little bit of a hassle to still have to season your food properly.

Matilda Huang05:19 01/07/23
My second time in this restaurant. Love their hot and sour soup. The taste of the dumplings are excellent. Ready to eat product are available to take home.

Therese Chua20:01 11/12/22
Taste-wise, the food is so so, but price-wise, I'd say it's affordable especially if we compare it to how much we'd pay if we were in a restaurant in Taipei. We had an okay experience aside from my friend biting into a staple wire in the fried chicken fillet rice!!! Good thing he didn’t swallow it! The staff wasn't even shocked so I'm guessing it has happened before? They weren't apologetic either so that was a big negative point for them. I probably wouldn't go back there again.

Ht T03:22 07/03/22
I've eaten here before when it was new but I wasn't happy with it. I tried it again now to see if they made any improvements but sadly it was still the same. Food was mediocre. You can get better version of it in other Chinese restaurants in Banawe. Price was reasonable but not worth to try again.

If you want taiwanese food but don't want to wait in those famous restaurants, this will be a good option for you. Food is a at par with other establishments, although it's on the salty side. Wide variety of menu items, fast service at very accommodating. Price wise is at mid range. We spent 1500 for 2 pax. Overall, will definitely going back here.

First time to try here, the price per order is around 200-300 per person but it depends on what you will order. And the food is a but too oily.Taiwan fried rice - it was delicious on my first bite, the rice is perfectly cooked it is well seasoned and the sausage is really goodThe stir fry beef noodles - the noodles is ok, the dish is a bit saltyChicken chops - it is deliciousA must try is the rice.

They offer Taiwanese Cuisine. We ordered Beef tendon noodles, Pork and Shrimp Wanton noodles, Xiao Long Bao, and Spicy pork ears. The taste of their food is just ok and the serving for their noodles is big. The price is a little expensive because of excluded service charge but is fine. Their service is excellent and staffs are friendly.

First time here. I am hesitant at first since it's Taiwanese but I am glad, I liked the Misua with Intestines soup, Claypot rice and the 5pcs Xiao Long Bao! Malasa lahat!I wanna try the other dishes when I come back. 😋

Dropped by busy SMCITY NORTH to check out smartphones. Famished after windo shopping and found Fat Fook inviting to sit down, njoy lite lunch bites in relatively uncrowded space. Service was quick, ordered piping hot claypot rice, tan2mien, minced pork baguio beans, and xian lang bao. Both claypot nd noodles were generous servings. Savory overall reminiscent of home cooked dishes. Price point was okay for around $ 19 for 2.

Adrielle Ortiz11:10 07/24/22
Fat Fook Kitchen is located at the third floor of SM North Edsa. It is a Taiwanese restaurant that offers various foods such as soups/noodles, dumplings (fried or steamed), rice toppings or rice meals, and much more. The tasted is excellent. We enjoyed the Taiwanese fried rice and fried pork. The dumplings and chicken skin were also savory. As for the price, it was expectedly expensive but it is worth it. The serving is also big and they have dishes for sharing that is good for two to three people. The ambience was also good. It was cozy and clean. It was also easy to get a table although it was dinner time.

Dominic Dayta16:25 03/12/22
Really good value for money, with a fast serving time and highly satisfying food. I highly recommend the patatim and cua pao, and the Taiwanese fried rice.

Ordered Laksa, all flavors of xiao long bao, beef wanton noodles and vegetable dumpling. I love the taste of the laksa. Not to spicy and creamy. It's like the laksa i've tried when we were exploring in Singapore. The Xiao long relieves my stress. Aaaah! This is a must try when you eat in tien ma's. Since this is all flavors, you'll get to try all their xiao long bao and maybe next time order your favorite flavor. However, i did not like the taste of their sauce for their dimsum which is a negative point for them. Hoping they improve this.Rated their service as 3 stars since they lack manpower wherein they forget requests of their customers like for example; the water/house tea should have been served automatically.

Eren K.11:58 07/25/23
Preparation of food takes 20-30mins for each meal you order while the restaurant is at 50% full only. Ordered 3 dishes, drink and a dessert. 1st dish arrived after 20mins, 2nd and 3rd dishes arrived after 15mins with the drink and the dessert didn’t arrive. I had to remind the orders for fee times in between and it is also hard to get the attention of the crew. Seems like they are either understaffed or lowered their service quality since my last visit which was a few years ago. It’s not the same old Tien Ma’s I used to enjoy dining in. One of the only two Tien Mas here in Metro Manila as of 2023. Food tasted great and are affordably priced. Serving time is average ( not too slow/fast) However, the server is disappointing. We asked her several times to refill our tea and to give us water but she failed to do so (we had to ask another server who only gave us water no tea refill either halfway to our meal 🤦‍♀️).This particular server noticably had a hard time taking down our orders as we had to manually point our orders at the menu for her to take down the codes for individually. She also made a mistake on one of our orders (we ordered pineapple fried rice and she served another kind) and blamed it on me (saying things like “diba ma’am ikaw pa nag order”) When I and my sister had painstakingly pointed for our order at the menu for her (after saying everything verbally for her) as she seems to be a newly employed server. The whole process of paying also takes a long time.I surely hope that your servers are trained better before they start to serve customers 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

It’s also packed here during lunch and dinner times, so expect to wait in line for a few minutes. The xiao long baos here compete with DTF’s so it’s definitely worth ordering the pork as well as the assorted XLBs. Aside from their good dimsums (the hakaw and veggie dumplings are also so so good), the Honey Walnut Chicken was also good, although it could use a bit more walnuts. The sweet and sour pork, which should be ordered in every Taiwanese resto, also didn’t disappoint. But one of the highlights in this meal was also the Taiwanese Beef Noodles. We ordered both the plain beef noodles and the one with tendon, but we couldn’t finish the two bowls (we were four!). That says a lot about the servings.

Deon Lim11:27 05/07/23
Mind blown by the quality of food, service and variety of Taiwanese food you can find. Their signature xiaolongbao rivals dingtaifeng and in fact , it is more flavourful catering to the Filipino tastebud. Amazing job team, will return!

Rick Lu06:56 03/21/23
Dropped in late afternoon before the evening diners crowd out the place. Early dinner of claypot stewed tofu, a plate of minced pork in crispy fried tofu skin with garlic chli dip and bowl of steamed rice. The stew was a generous mixture of fried tofu, breaded pork, shitake mushroom and other veggie braised in a sesame ginger soy sauce- aromatic and delicious but a bit on the salty side;hope chef tones it down and let the home cook flavor stands out. Mince pork dish is reminiscent of quekiam. Diner offers a pot of black tea to go with kropek while waiting for the mains to arrive. All in all got value for the price. Thought the serving would be enough for 2 diners.Part 2 of visit- more like a revisit after finding myself close by and hankering for traditional Cantonese dish of sweet and sour pork-sauce was real deal combini g lip puckering sourness with not cloying sticky sweetness sauce flavored by hints of pineapple, bell pepper and shallot quarters. Meat was tender and wrapped in light batter. A far superior dish compared to the neon fuscha sauce of the US version.

Yoda Travels09:01 10/04/22
They offer Taiwanese Cuisine, food is just ok, nothing too special, the price is just right for the serving size. The hot pot dish is good but the Hainanese Chicken is a bit dry for me. The parking space provided is really limited, actually only 1 car or SUV can fit the parking space in front of their Restaurant.

Claire Tabago08:15 07/16/22
Food was great! Loved their xiao long bao and the fish fillet in black bean sauce. The service can be improved. (Small things make a big impact in services.) Anyway, price is good for the food-- quality and quantity wise. (mid-priced).

Vlad Dimson01:43 07/02/22
Craving for authentic Taiwanese food? Tien Ma’s got you.Honestly, I was hesitant to try the food here at first because their storefront looks a bit small. Boy was I surprised when I finally tried dining here the other evening—the place was well lit, spacious, looks and is actually clean. They have an extensive menu that covers all the basics. Their Xiao Long Bao is a must! Noodles are tasty too but I suggest you eat it immediately when served so it doesn’t get over cooked because the soup is hot, hot, hot!

Vic Mayor11:42 06/26/22
We Had Lunch here last Saturday, luckily there was nobody parked in their Parking Space. We ordered the following:Oyster Cake - not much oysters, but for the price its okay. It was good.Salt and Pepper Squid - squid was tenderSalted Pepper Fried Rice - Good Taste plus good serving size.Coffee Jelly and Almond Lychee for.Dessert.Service was Fast and Efficient. Loved it that they gave Tea and Prawn Crackers.A Good and filling Lunch.

Marie Claire Victoria01:08 05/03/22
This place really serves good food. The crew was very cheerful and helpful. The ambience was nice, relaxing. Cost of food was neither cheap nor expensive, the important thing is that you really enjoy the food served. The only problem one might have, coming here is the parking. Other than that, would highly recommend this place. We'll definitely be visiting again soon....if not this branch, then the one in Q. C. which is closer to our house.

Food is good but I've had better chinese food in banawe qc. Their truffle dumpling is something we keep coming back to. My partner likes it so much. The service was a bit slow. A bowl of plain rice took 5 minutes to be served. I had to call the attention of the servers 3 times before I got a bowl of soup. It wasn't peak hours. The atmosphere is good. It was clean but the table setting could be better.

ken lee08:55 07/30/23
As a Chinese restaurant their food tastes bland. Lack of flavor for me. Feels like eating Chinese food when you're sick u can't seem to taste the savory of the dishes. Xiao long BAO and noodles were basic the only thing going for me is their shrimp fried rice.

A P Y07:44 06/13/23
With my kids in tow, for sure we have to have Asian food. Tried Shi Lin this time because we always go to DTF for XLB (IYKYK).Their XLB is soupy, the meat was tender and it was filling. Overall satisfied with their version.Staff were alao attentive and they were quick to attend to our needs. In itself, the items are all good. Value for money.

did not have a pleasant experience.waiter came to take our orders initially, then asked us to do it our own instead?!the food, we requested to remove certain ingredients, the kitchen neglected the request. they removed the ingredients by picking it off instead of make a new one for us.charging us service charge but didn't have good service, except when we are asking for the bill.

5 stars for excellent Chinese cuisine and value for money 🤗🤗 Personal recommendations are:Pork Xiao Long BaoBraised Beef Noodle SoupFried MantouBeef was definitely fork tender with so much flavour in the broth 😋 while the Xiao Long Bao is as good as it can be especially coupled with Black Vinegar and Ginger 👍🏻Mantou was fried to perfection with the perfect crunch on the inside and softness on the inside 😋😋Topping it all off is the overall service with the staff being very attentive to their guests - kudos to the Management on this.Shi Lin is a must try when you are in Powerplant Mall, Rockwell CBD. I personally will be dropping by here for good Chinese food 😋😋😋

Gems Gonzalez10:55 06/30/19
Shi Lin is underrated. Many of its menu items are similar to one famous Michelin star restaurant and so the quality and taste of food. It’s our go-to place when we want something light and healthy or the reverse, something really filling. We order dimsum, wonton soup and steamed vegetable or fried rice, sweet and sour pork, spare ribs and it’s fried squid.

Renz L12:20 04/28/19
Shi Lin is very famous for their xiao long bao.(Tip: always add more ginger and vinegar on your xiaolongbao.)We got two sets of Hakaw also because it is so good. Probably 2-3 shrimps in one hakaw! The prawn cake tastes like squidball and may be a little expensive for its size. The pork chop with rice is always the best.... great to add a little vinegar and ginger on your rice for that extra kick.Lastly we got the deep fried mantou. Can be a great dessert with that condensed milk dip.

theo11:45 02/17/19
Our ordered:Noodle shrimp & pork wonton (4/5)Bokcoy (5/5)Fried rice shrimp and egg (4/5)Got the free xiao long bao (chinese new year event)The ambiance is super comfy, and the service is good. The taste of the water is quite strange. The price is so affordable than other Chinese restaurant in powerplant mall.

One of my favorite restaurants! We ordered the Crispy Beef Strips ( THE BEST ), Stir Fried Beef with Scallions, Salt and Pepper Squid, Chili oil noodles with dumpling (My favorite), of course some Pork and roasted garlic Xioalongbao and Crispy pork and shrimp Wontons. For the rice, we got the Pork chop Fried rice and salted fish fried rice. And for the drinks we got the lemongrass drink. (We got a lot >.

Xuhao Su04:48 05/28/23
Food is good, or at least stands to its reputation. The downside is service speed. Not that the staffs aren’t working hard enough, they simply don’t have the scale of kitchen/team to match the size of business. How do they cope with it? Aside from the already long time to serve dishes, the owner or manager deliberately limit the entrance flow. With HALF tables empty, they keep a dozen customers waiting at the door.My best guess is that they know the lack of staffs and try to ease pressure for the kitchen. My worst guess? What better advertisement can you expect than a line of waiting customers in hot and humid weather? All in all, you can count the taste, but don’t expect too much on the overall experience, especially when you finally allowed in after half hour waiting only to realize there’re 15 free tables all the time.

Simon Wood18:09 02/10/23
Unable to find the resto we were looking for, we ate here. After a 20 minute wait, when we could choose our food and write it down on an order form with a pencil, we got our table. The food was okay but service incredibly slow. Anywhere else in the world, this would be fine, but this is yet another mall chain, pretending to offer a high dining experience at very expensive prices. How I wish there were more mom and pop restos in the malls, where there is a love for customers and a love for food rather than a formula created in a corporate head office with a "what's the minimum we can do to charge a high price, keep shareholders happy and fool the people they are getting more than cheap eats at high prices".Would I remember this place? Yes but only for the bill and not the food or service. It's a yuppie diner (I can't say restaurant as it lacks the class) in a yuppie city (Makati) where yuppies know the cost of things but not the value of them.Seems to be perfect for the people who judge a resto on the ability to get IG photos and not a quality dining experience.Nothing was wrong with the food (except the salted egg yoke shrimp which was bland). Nothing was wrong with the service. What is wrong is the price of 3276.09 for 2 diners getting average rather than good food.

Joshua Ladaga16:23 08/19/22
I love their XLB. The food selection is also great. The chinese and taiwanese options are diverse and tasty looking enough that one would be tempted to try them all. Even though what we ate was good for us, there were still leftovers. A good bang for your buck. The place also has a pleasant aesthetic and ambiance that puts your mind at ease. It let's you focus on enjoying your food.Pandemic protocols are still in place. Tables are separated adequately and in accordance to the number of guests that will be dining in. The restaurant doesn't force guests to crowd. Potential guests would have to wait outside for a table/tables to be vacant.Do not worry, the wait is worth it.

miaka yuki11:31 06/13/22
Two thumbs up for their service..staffs are attentive and professional.Ambience is just fine for a modern style Chinese restaurant.I was just a bit disappointed with the xiao long bao. It was overrated. It was good but not special..We also had pork chop fried rice. Pork chop tasted like McDonalds chicken fillet. 😅😅. The fried rice was just okay. Again, it was good but nothing special. What i only enjoyed was the golden lava salted egg yolk buns. It tasted authentic and we had to order again..Overall experience, 7/10..

Love chinese food? This is the place to be. Known for their xia long bao, it did not disappoint. I am a big fan of salted fish fried rice in Macau, Din Tai Fung’s version is, unfortunately, not as tasty. Spicy shrimp and pork wanton is a must try! Chinese tea served in cup but refillable.

Stefan Yordanov11:36 02/20/22
Fast food feeling. Fast paste but slow in delivery of food and general service. Fast food quality of food. Attractive pricing makes bug waiting lines. If you want to experience big variety of Chinese meals at average quality and affordable pricing come and check.

Great place. The food are *chef's kiss*. 1000/10. My favorites are xiaolongbao and pork chop fried rice ❤️❤️. Need vaccination card to dine. We dine in at 2pm that's why it's not crowded. We enjoyed this place and we will come back to try other dishes.

Always a great place to eat in - Sundays are now very busy at this location. Just pre-order while you wait.Service is top-notch and I finally listened to the staff providing the spiel on how to eat the dumplings correctly.

The place was full when we went there for dinner. You have to wait to be seated. Delicious food and great service.

A P Y07:21 05/20/23
One of the busiest restos in Rockwell. Understandable, price is high but food quality is good.We always get the pork XLB. And Chicken Chop rice. I made a mistake and ordered a spicy dry noodle wonton instead of the soup. Both good but I just felt bad, I thought I was choosing the noodles for my kids instead the one that came out was the spicy one.Oh well. We always go here in this branch. I should be more careful choosing next time.

RRVic03:36 12/18/22
Located inside the Rockwell Powerplant Mall, upper ground floor. We were able to fall in line before the 7pm dinner rush hour. Customer's bags are placed in a separate basket and covered. Highly recommended are the Xiao Long Bao, veggie-we got the watercress, salted prawn, spicy veggie wonton, black seaweed salad for appetizer. Spacing of tables is ample. They accept Gcash, btw. Come in early and avoid the rush hour dining.

Sheila C13:24 12/17/22
Ever reliable spot for good Taiwanese food but be prepared for the long queue. We always order their wanton with chili oil, pork chop and xiao long bao.

Victor Anthony Warren01:17 08/04/22
This place is quite popular so you have to be early to get a table. Food selection is good. Ask the staff for the recommended dish of the day to add to your selection.

Renz L11:41 06/26/22
Din tai fung is the ultimate go-to comfort food if you are craving for taiwanese/chinese food. I love their pork xiao long bao, shrimp wanton noodles and pork chop. They alot of selections of dumplings, vegetables and other food. They have an instruction on how to eat the xiaolongbao properly of you are a newbie. And they have a glass window kitchen for you to observe how they make the xiaolong bao and check the cleanliness of the place too.

EnidlareG Gomz05:11 06/09/22
The table host in charge should be a little bit friendlier ✌️ smiling eyes because we are still wearing masks and accommodating. I dont know if she's stressed out because long wait because its lunch time but nevertheless as a host she should be friendly. Btw, her name is April as per her ID Tag. I pointed her the vacant table for 2 since we are just two, but she let us waited for quiet' sometime end up giving the same table I pointed and requested 😅🤣🤣 very poor host. Good thing my xiao long bao is still the best or else Im gonna fume up ✌️

Henry Kim05:15 11/08/21
They checked Vaccine card and Temperature. However Sweet&Sour Prawn is too small. It should've been called sweet and sour shrimp instead. 748pesos for this dish, it is way over priced .Organic Spinach is 250 pesos but very small serving. Expensive. Taste not worth the price.

Have some manners and let your customers finish their highly priced meals before taking away their plates WHILE THEY ARE STILL CHEWING.All that pricey food and you can't buy excess plates?Learn some etiquette and stop annoying people who are STILL EATING. They deserve to take their time while paying for your pricey food.If you have so much time, why not get their bills instead of having us fall in line after paying for your overpriced food?

Rhea Flores02:51 06/07/23
I’ve dined here several times before but it’s my first time leaving a review. Honestly, my previous dining experiences in Din Tai Fung were a lot better. Xiaolongbao and spareribs are still my favorite. I also ordered their noodles with house specialty house, but it’s so-so. However, I’m not very satisfied with their service. The chopsticks given to me were not clean. The table was unstable so it’s uncomfortable to eat (we asked the waiter to fix but there’s no change).

Victor Yap15:01 04/09/23
We had our early lunch its around 11am when we had our table this branch is under renovation so diners are dine in al fresco infront of uniqlo. We ordered their xiaolongpao choco pao, pork buns, porkchop with fried rice, shrimp friedrice and beef noodles food was good its not our first time ti dine in din tai fung we had tried it at rockwell and in taiwan. The beef noodles is abit bland and the meat is around 3 small pieces only compare to the picture in their menu which more appetizing when seing it. But din tai fung in taiwan is way better than in ph. Service is good.

Food was great! Visited on a Sunday around 2pm and the place was packed, about 30 minutes before we were seated (2 pax). Once our food was inputed the food took about 15 minutes to come. Items ordered: Salted Egg Prawns, Garlic Fried Rice, Chili Crab Bun, Pork and Shrimp Wonton with House Special Spicy Sauce, Fried Pork and Shrimp Wonton, Golden Lava Bun, and The Choco lava. All items tasted great. Value for your money. Service was good given the volume of patrons at the restaurant.

Engelbert Tabones16:15 08/31/22
We were blown away with this restaurant on every aspect; food, taste, quality, service, cleanliness, interior design, price (it’s fair). It’s a great food experience. The star is the Xiao Long Bao, it is really, really good. The Chicken Chop Fried Rice has that asian spice we are looking for.The Crispy Beef Strips are surprisingly good! It’s also perfect combination with the fried rice. The Chocolate Lava Xiao Long Bao was my favorite of all. It’s hot and has a nice chocolate inside a soft, smooth, chewy mochi covering. It’s happiness! The service and food quality are high.

Emmanuel Dato14:16 07/21/22
Food is still delicious. Most restaurants food have been affected by the pandemic but Din Tai Fung food and service are still great. They have the best Xiao long bao and the pork chop fried rice is just so good.

Haniel LC14:41 06/20/22
Their custard lava is the only thing that we really enjoyed in our dinner, the rest were so-so. We had seaweed salad as appetizer, sweet and sour pork and black pepper beef as our main entree. You get charged extra for the spicy sauce of their shrimp wontons. Their pork and chicken dumplings are okay, nothing remarkable. The black pepper beef came in like crispy tapa that were coated in thick flour. It's the most expensive dish that we ordered yet it's what turned us off. We got disappointed because our egg fried rice came in last when we almost finished all the dishes and it took 2 follow-ups and another 3min waiting time before it finally got served. The lemongrass juice and milk tea were too sweet.

Daniel Carlo Bueno02:46 04/13/22
Just an average Chinese restaurant nothing spacial. The food taste is par but at a high price point. Service was great and the ambiance is good.

Love joy07:21 03/13/22
I rate it 6/10. Its not that delicious as advertised. Foods are bland. All of them tastes the same. Xialongbao-you can taste the sourness ,same goes to the other dumplings (imagine ypurself doing homemade siomai ,its not like other resto that has umami taste in their food) .the servings of veggies are enough for 3 people because it tastes nothing but oily. Foods that i can recommend are the choco lava xiaolongbao (yummers pramis) cucumber with sesame oil ( the only food that has umami taste haha), chicken chops fried rice (is good as well ). Black pepper beef is ok, sweet/ sour pork of chowking is much better. Fried noodles with veggies tastes like bbq but its fine. Chili garlic dumplings is good as well. But if i were to choose between. timhowan and din tai. Ill choose timhowan. Food there are much better. Waiting time is ok. Maybe because people doesnt eat much there

Hestia's Journey06:00 02/26/22
Good Chinese food. Nice and accommodating staff. My dine-in experience could have been better if I didnt need to line up to pay the bill. Had to wait in line at the cashier near exit. NOT a good idea especially during peak hours or peak season.

Nicole Yango21:10 11/15/22
