I had a nice dinner here the other night. They managed to find a table which was nice because they were full. I ordered the fish solo meal and squid which was good but not a lot of fish on my plate. The squid was nice though and service was good although it took a while for the food.

Me lon00:29 06/17/23
1 star for the service. Most of the servers here specially the ladies are always frowning from the time that we arrived. As a client from Manila, I expected a warm welcome as this restaurant looks beautiful in the inside. Instagrammable as they say. Pero it looks like that they were trained as if they work in fastfood chains that vacant seats matter more than what they offer. There is even a time when another client approached in a not so good way, asking for our table while our group is still having our dinner. Even fastfood chain servers are better than them. Went to Jollibee Palo the other day and people there are very nice and when they ran out of softdrinks, they are very sorry. Whereas in this restaurant, they look at u while u r eating as if u can't afford to pay their bill. Such a bad experience for our group. I hope service will improve as it leaves very bad impressions in the restaurant. When we arrived, we are very happy that Tacloban is recovering post-yolanda that they already have beautiful restaurants and great food.As for the food, we love the Pochero, Cinco pizza, sweet and Sour Lapu Lapu, Baked Salmon and chicken pasta. Calamari is kind of bland. Kani salad is okay. The drinks are okay too.. love that they have wide range of drinks to choose from. The price is good. The atmosphere would have been great.

I came here for a birthday celebration about 4-5 years ago. I was not reviewing places back then. Then I got invited to another birthday celebration today. The celebrant got the 2nd floor to herself for 5 hrs inclusive of the food and drinks at a very reasonable price. The food was absolutely great that I skipped my diet. I was literally bursting at the seams. As for the place itself which is in an older house, it's like blend of classic/antique old world charm with some modern finish. The bathroom is clean and tidy. I highly recommend this place for small private gatherings of about 50 persons.

Ruby Jane03:13 04/02/22
If you love delicious food at a reasonable price then you have to visit Sal's Restaurant. They have great food and offers quality of service. The food is served at an adequate amount, more than what is offered by its competitors at a reasonable price. Plus, I so love their Waldorf salad! 😋

John Victor Aclan14:02 02/11/22
We came from a tiring field work and we are surprised and satisfied by their food. It is our first time here and we kinda get lost in finding this gem. Serving time is fast and serving size is good as well. But the price is very affordable, we did not expect the bill actually. Staff are very welcoming and approachable, reservation officer is very nice also feeding me information for the last call time and their location. Such a great experience. Will come back here if there’s a chance for sure.

Food: 3/5 We only got the snack menu. Mostly had the gold digger.Service: 4/5 The staff were great! They took special care to our orders and catered to us.Atmosphere: 4/5 The whole ambience is very chic. The pastel colours blended so well and especially took a liking to some of the chairs they have.

First time here. Located along a busy street downtown. Parking in the back but limited parking everywhere else. Very nice atmosphere and decorative. Clean and cool inside. I ordered the babyback ribs. My wife ordered a waffle dish. For appetizer it was lumpia with a spicy kick. Babyback ribs were fall off the bone ribs. Very tasty and plenty of them (bring your appetite with you 😁😁😁). Wife could not finish her waffle plate. The lumipa had a very nice kick. Wife doesn't like spicy and they were way to spicy for her. I love spicy and they were good. Pricing was very reasonable and the food came out at the same time (kudos to the chef who knows about timing). Overall I was very satisfied with my experience and will definitely come back to this venue.

Nice place, nice food, affordable, good service. 🙂

Jason Basurto06:15 12/06/22
Great food. Cozy ambiance. Easily located at the city and is accessible. The nearest malls, hotels, and other fastfood chains are all just a tricycle ride away or if you enjoy walking you can certainly do so and be at your destination within 15-20 mins. I was told that parking was available inside but I'm not sure if its true.

Che Colibao00:04 11/25/21
If you want a cute and vibrant ambiance while having your meals, this is the place for you. From their decor to their walls to their furniture down to their menu is just cuteness overload 😍Plus points on the friendliness of their staff 🤗

Dont go on rush dinner hours as you might wait long, like I did. The food also comes after a bit of waiting time. They are only a few staff and the cashier is still done manually. But food is good. Maybe i will avoid rush dinner times next time.

mike paul dan negru03:51 01/25/23
Good food. Bulalo was good compared to others I've tried. The pork sisig was just okay. Not that crowded as well.

Kervin Go16:16 09/30/22
It is really good to eat here. They have the tasty sizzling sisig with a fresh egg, their calmares is crunchy but the cheese sticks felt off because it is not made with mozzarella and the specialty bullalo taste usual like it's from a canteen area. I may come again to try new options

Edj Tumandao13:21 09/29/18
I love their bulalo and their cool ambiance. The music will take you the 70's and 80's.hahahaWhen you just wanna chill out with your friends and listen to some famous old songs while appreciating some art,you should try coming here.😊

John Randall Cablao07:05 10/17/17
Although the outside looks like an ordinary eatery, you will be amazed with is inside. The area is spacious. There is an open area and a place that is air-conditioned. The food is great and you can ask for best sellers each time. Try their Bulalo too. They are promoting Tacloban City's tourism so you can ask about the places to go if you want to take a tour. They sometimes have occasions and have live bands.

Oh i can't get over there squid. black ink was no bother to my smiling. and then the purbida kangkong was sooooooo yummy! and then their clams i forgot the name. waaaaah! everything was delicious! gotta go back! 😍😍😍

Mark Gregory Miranda14:10 06/22/23
Very good food and lots of selection. The restaurant is almost full house when I arrived for dinner. The food is fresh esp.the steamed oysters I ordered. The porbidang talong I ordered is a new favorite food of mine. It's creamy because of the milk, but spicy at the same time.

Kristine Joy Victor06:07 03/14/23
A must when you’re in Tacloban! If I could eat here everyday while I’m in Tacloban, I would. I haven’t had a dish that I didn’t like! Seafoods are always fresh and well-cooked. Service is great. Portions are huge and perfect for sharing.Personal favorites are: kilawin, baked scallops, ensaladang lato, tinolang isda, sarad, inihaw na isda, and adobong pusit.I always look forward to Ocho whenever I’m in the city!

Mary Anne Jamisola07:16 03/05/23
Food was great! My concerns are: (1) parking space and (2) CR.Parking space is like an abandoned place with lots of stuff (like discarded construction materials) and is smelly. Very muddy tooCR has a weird smell, and our table was very near the CR so I could smell it. I find it unsanitary. We ordered 3 dishes -- shrimp, squid, scallops. We paid 1.7k+ for the whole meal. Not sure if it's too pricey. But, im still happy because the foods were yummy! Will still go back if I have seafood cravings again!

Alexander Go Tian12:29 11/06/22
Giving 4 stars only because the mamsa I ordered did not taste fresh. But absolutely loved the lato salad.I would say it's the perfect place for a group. Unfortunately I was alone so I couldn't order as much I would have wanted to try. Just look at that variety on display!Would definitely recommend when you're visiting Tacloban.

Recommended for Family and friends dinner. Staff are attentive, though always frowning and not very welcoming. The food is delicious. They have an option for unli rice like in Mang Inasal and other short orders for groups.

Strategically located in the heart of Tacloban city, where you can score a delicious meal in a very affordable price. The chicken and pork bbq combo is a must try for people visiting the area. The also serve, ice cold San Miguel Beers.

RyE Gads10:21 06/07/21
The best grilled chicken ever. They also have variety of foods from sea foods to veggies and some deserts and appetizers. Great place and nice ambience. It would have also been better if they have free WiFi for customers. Overall its a good place with a good food and friendly staff. Its definitely a place to go in town.

Service was good, food was served in a reasonable amount of time. It is for casual dining and you get a good value for your money. The grilled chicken was a bit dry though but the pork barbeque was cooked really well.

Nick Angelo Gabriel Arjon03:39 07/21/23
Poor quality food, burger patty was very dry and the buns were as hard as a rock, pasta and pizza was mundane for it's expensive price. My expectations were high as the owner of the restaurant is Italian. Poor quality service, the guard and servers looks at you from head to toe as if they are judging you. I think they only treat costumers well when they look rich. They were far from being accommodating. Bad experience.

Kevin Freestone05:33 06/06/23
Every time that I am in Tacloban, I try to visit this restaurant. The food is great. The ambiance is wonderful and the staff are attentive.Although, don't go off menu. The staff tried to upsell a rack of lamb, which I would happily have purchased and eaten, but when I asked if they could cook it with a herb crust, i was met with blank stares and then told no. How much easier can you get than a few chopped herbs mixed with olive oil and butter? That said, you really must try this restaurant if you are in Tacloban..

Nu Ngyuen10:51 03/16/23
Excellent wine with healthy pours :)The food is also delicious. We had Pasta, and a salad accompanied by the rustic garlic toast. After the delicious fruit and ice cream dessert, they offer a Free Amaretto to crown the experience.... Perfect.Service is prompt and correct, supervised by the hands on proprietor ( Westerner ).It's an excellent restaurant by any standards, spotlessly clean, comfortable, roomy chairs and tables and with relaxing music. They also have imported steaks ( USA ), even Filet Mignon, which is next on the agenda :).

Edil Brave Anthon Saavedra06:21 02/25/23
THE GREATEST ITALIAN RESTO IN TOWN!Ambience, especially during dinner time, is spectacular. Very moody and romantic experience. Service was exceptional. Staff was very attentive to every table. Refilling your water glass every now and then. Food was beyond words! Prices was reasonable on what you get. A bit pricey but amazing experience and food.Starting with the antipasto - The Foccasia. It is well seasoned, plenty, and crunchy. Their pizzas are amazing too. Their Prosciutto Pizza was the best and their Margherita. Their Caesar Salad was also amazing and taste authentic. Their Carbonara (Filipino style) was great, would like to try their Italian version.Their USDA Black Angus Steak is Phenomenal! Was priced P475 per 100 grams when we were there. For us, it was just the right price considering the size, the doneness of the steak, the sides, and the taste of it. It's unlike any other steak we've tasted and this is where we always go to when we crave for steak. Unlike other restos who has a fixed priced on their steak and its just little. The greatest Italian vibes and food you can find in the city. The best quality and price. Perfect for dates, special occasions, and once-a-month family dining.

May17:04 06/19/22
Focaccia was delicious. Highly recommend you try it out. Pizza was cheesy and the cheese stretch was very satisfying. They have a service where you choose which cut of steak you want the kitchen to cook for your dinner however we were not given this service while others got it so kind of disappointed about it plus, the steak we got did not come medium rare like we asked and had too much fat.Would come back for the focaccia but not for the steak.

Village Chefs by the Little Green Kitchen is an advocate of healthy Asian cuisines. For starters, I would suggest you go for the Tom Yum Goong. Warning, it's hot and spicy and it's a good warm up for the main course.A lot of restaurants in Tacloban serve crispy Kangkong but Village Chefs' version is on a different level. It's a big hit and one of their best sellers. It's goes perfectly well with the buttered garlic scallops. They also serve Filipino classics, try the Fried BB Chicken and Kare Kare.FYI, serving time takes about 30-40 minutes but the wait is all worth it when you leave with a full and happy stomach. 😊👌They're available on all food delivery platforms. 🛵

Food was fine but sadly not all were served at the same time.We were only three people with no fancy orders and it still took almost 30 minutes in between the first and last order served which is a no go when you want to eat together. And for some reason the starters were served last...

Just arrived home after another excellent evening at the XYZ 9th floor restaurant. This was my 4th dinner there, tonight before I fly home. The food is extremely delicious and served in a very professional manner.Laira, our server, understands the concept behind customer service. She,and her support staff, made our evening very memorable. Her dedication to service should be in the book of standards for all restaurants. From the appetizers to the dessert, I would recommend this place for all your celebrations.

15 classmates from elementary got together because 3 from the US were on vacation. We all enjoyed the delicious food.😋😋😋 Both Asian and Filipino. Service was good. Food was served on time. The spot we chose was good enough that we didn't "disturb" the rest of the diners. We surely enjoyed our lunch together🥰We parted ways happy and contented. 🥰🙏🫰.

I cannot express how satisfied I am when we dined in here. First of all the ambiance is very elegant yet cosy, the staff are very helpful when guiding us in their international menu. They have American, Filipino, Japanese, Itallian, Thai and Chinese cuisine. I am amazed at how they are maintaining such menu. We tried their Thai cuisine and let me tell you the food is superb! Their Pad thai is unforgettable, fresh and super tasty. They definitely have a happy cook in here because we just tasted a happy food. 5 stars for Q Kitchen. We'll definitely come back here.

Valrhona Chocolate Molten Cake. A definite must-try. Gorgeous and delicate with a crusted surface and layered generously with powdered sugar. The bittersweet molten chocolate pairs with the sweet strawberry syrup underneath the generous serving of vanilla ice cream.Recommended wine pairing: Deakin Estate Moscato (available at the restaurant)

Fahrenheit has always been a staple of Tacloban City. Their menu has had a few tweaks and updates but the taste has always been the same ever since the nineties up to now. It still is savory and tasty. From their fried chicken to the fries and their beef curry. I wish they still had the sweet and sour pork though. It was my favorite. Oh and the prices, still affordable! 👏 The other side though is that the customer service is still the same, not that great but tolerable.

The staff is very accommodating. The ambiance of the place is neat, peaceful and inviting. The decor and aesthetic is also pleasing. The food was nice but nothing out of ordinary. We tried their ‘pinakbet’, and we enjoyed it. Their fried chicken was kind of bland though. The food is decent, and it could use some more improvements.

We tried their sisig and it is savory. We liked it. Their prices are reasonable and they have a wide selection of menu items. The place is nice and cozy and the staff are welcoming and accommodating.

I'm giving Juanito's 5 stars simply because they have a very friendly staff and they have great service, which for me is very important in the food serving industry. The ambiance is praiseworthy as well even though the space is not that big. Food was okay, nothing out of the ordinary. We ordered grilled tuna, pork belly and chicken inasal to which I give a rating of 4/5. All food on the menu are cheap and affordable.

A Patel10:43 06/09/17
Stumbled across this in Tacloban. Inviting décor. Pleasant and clean on the inside.Actually had some vegetable dishes on the menu! :)I ordered the mixed veg one with rice which was really tasty, it did come topped with some pork though! HahaWaiter did a good job of explaining things to me in English.Pretty cheap too.
