Dined here a couple of times while staying next door at the Tropicana. I have to say the beef mami tastes delicious, great noodles and broth, It might just be me or my "western" tastes but the down side of the beef mami is the beef which seems to be 80% fat.

For the past five years, Mr. Poon's has offered a wide selection of Chinese meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The restaurant appears to do terrific business with neighborhood families on the weekends and relatively good business on week nights, which is a testimonial to its quality and value.

Steamed Lapu Lapu fish with their special sauce @ #mrpoonrestaurant which they are famous for for over 40 years. It must have been a bad night when we were there as I didn't think it was that great (unfortunately). The fish was bland with the special sauce as the hero but the sauce wasn't all that. It looked like a slop due to the not so appealing diarrhea-like colour and texture contrary to the picture on the menu being more reddish which was what I had expected. The flavour of the sauce wasn't punchy, it wasn't sharp which was good, but it just lacked flavour. For the supposed fame and price of the dish, it wasn't worth it. #baddiningexperience. I appreciate plenty of peeps dine here so another visit is perhaps inevitable to try the other dishes but I am definitely not ordering that dish again.

Chinese themed resto. Service is hit or miss. I’ve only ate here multiple times because of the location being right next to my hotel. The food is nothing to shout in the streets over. Also it’s on the expensive side.First time during dinner I got great service, the second time I had a late breakfast they either forgot about my order or prioritized others first, as people who came in after me were served before me, yet again, just like the Japanese place next door. I think one of the most frustrating things over the years I’ve been writing for Google is restaurants here that serve diners out of order. It must just be something about me that says “serve this goofball after the important people are taken care of.” If my place had a kitchenette I would not be giving places like this the time of day, yet there I was. Another lesson learned.The sausage with the breakfast medley was pretty good. I’ll give them that much. Settle for this place if you are craving fake Chinese food, but I would highly recommend just going to a local Inasal joint (Bacolod or Mang) if you’re hungry.

Clean and well presented food items. They have nicely thin cut beef and pork slices. We went at 1700 on a Thursday and we were the first customers. The meat they serve are deliciously tasting. They have a big area with a 2nd floor. Moreover, their location is good with pay parking spaces. So far, one of the best if not the best place for an authentic Korean samgyeopsal. 정말 맛있어요! Really delicious!

Food: Definitely one of the best samgyup I've had for some time, but you only get plain pork and beef. It's ok for me, since I don't like marinated meat. We loved the steamed egg! The kimchi too, not too sweet and salty. You get unlimited sides, rice, and iced tea, as well, but not the steamed egg.Price: 700 for unli pork and beef. I already ate here twice. They never disappoint. I love their food and the service is great. It might be a bit pricey though and they also have a 5% service charge which I didn't notice the 1st time I ate here. They have a variety of side dishes like steam egg, japchae, sweetened sweet potato, odeng, and more. All in all, I had a great dining experience. Uuwi kang busog na busog. 😆

Admittedly all these Korean barbecue/samgyupsal places are basically the same. Same meats, same banchang, same over sweetened iced tea, same smell when you go out after dining.What makes J. Park unique is its ambience and interiors. Of course you do not expect the rich and famous to dine here but actually the look and feel seems like this place is made for them!Their eat-all-you can has price ranges, depending on the meats you want eat. It start from ₱600 up to ₱800…so pick your heart stopping meats for your meal…now that is one point that makes this place unique. This place also accepts credit card and the current fad GCash!

We went here so many times before, though now the food has changed, most of the beef meat has a ton of fats now, and they served us cabbage rather than lettuce, and the taste of their other side dishes has changed as well, and their options on it became less, additioanlly, their cheese just tasted like butter than an actual cheese unlike before. The services are still good, all the servers were very friendly.

One of the better unlimited korean bbq in town for ₱599!!! Beef-pork-chicken. The meats are of good quality the marinates are good! Side dishes and sauces includung cheese is superb.Only short on in kimchi hot hot hot. Almost no spiciness.Youll never be wrong with this 24hrs Korean BBQ joint. Food is so-so. Slow on service. Doesn’t take card payments nor gcash despite the crowd being employees and big groups. Doesn’t seem to have an SOP. Guard doubles as a hostess to greet the customers. Servers/staff is not smooth - everything is out of plce and will deliberately skip an eye contact. Parking is difficult too. 2 stars because of the ease of booking a table and the guard and the KTV upstairs but even there - service is horrible. Both understaff and undertrained. Visited 19th Dec, 6pax.

Previously called Gokizip, now this restaurant is named Samgyupkana perhaps to promote their unlimited samgyupsal, or Korean BBQ. But I love their Shabu Shabu more! For only 599 per head, minimum of 2pax. Only downside is that their staff are not well-trained, it takes a very long while before they serve what you ask for.

The food was great and the service was quick. The staff will approach you if they see some side dishes are missing. The will also replace the griller with the new one when its already burnt. The only downside was the floor was greasy, the place is spacious though. They can accommodate many customers. This is our to go samgyupsal place!

My first time in this place, I thought it was just another normal pop-up samgyupsal place. They serve unlimited pork, beef, and chicken slices. The side dishes also include the usual, and a huge portion of steamed egg and kimchi tofu stew. Everything is delicious. The service is also 100%. No downtime in refilling your meats and sides. 10/10

Food and price are okay. Service can be improved; we ordered a mango shake and they served it after 20mins approx. We also ordered dakgangjeong and was only served when we're almost done eating. Btw, the quality of their dakgangjeong is poor.Meat quality and side dishes are okay. Nothing special with the taste since it's just raw meat without any marinade. I like that they use charcoal instead of the usual stove top fire.

Korean Barbecue Buffet, also from the people that brought you Fantastic Baka but this joint is cheaper.You have lots of meat options, we specially love the Pork Jowls. Each serving is quite large. Also they have lots of side dishes. Although their Bulgogi is too sweet for our taste.The downside is the place is not well kept, you can see the furnitures and floor were dirty and service is sloppy.My kids liked the place but me, being picky and a critic (in terms of food and ambience) feels that the place needs improvement. Was looking for a good unlimited K BBQ in the area and found this place thanks to Google Maps. Parking can only accomodate 3 cars (hence minus 1 star). Excellent service, excellent food. Another plus as they use charcoal. Highly recommended.

I was surprised that there are so many spaces inside. If you look at it outside it looked small. Anyway, I love the service here. The waiters are super attentive. Very courteous and they are so many of them that's why they are very quick with thwir service. The slippery floor is true so you have to be careful when walking. The only problem here is their ac system since it causes leaks in the ceiling. We were first seated in a table with leaks above so askes to be transferred to another table which won't be easy because the place is jampacked but luckily we were transferred right away when one table checked out. The food is good. The meat tastes good. I don't like the cheese though since I like it thicker. Some items that comes with our order wasn't served too. I don't know if you have to ask for it I'm just used to the other place where it is served upon seating or that you don't have to ask for it like the steamed egg. Overall, I loved our experience here and will defintely go back.

Highly recommended , unlimited side dish. Unlimited cheese! Really love the thin slices of plain beef and pork not too thin and doesnt have too much fat in it. Japchae taste really good my nephew loves it, we all loves it, their unlimited fried chicken is crunchy and taste good as well.

This is our go to place whenever we crave samgyupsal. This used to be a 24 hour restaurant but since the pandemic they only operate till 12am not bad tho. Some of the items from the menu is not available but still quality of meat is the same, servers are very accommodating.

One of the original korean bbq in town, nostalgic feeling the staff 1 kuya and 1 manong is super attentive and very friendly.Place is super clean unlike the eat all you can korean bbq restos.Everything is perfect, except for the beef short ribs with bone, it was too sweet.Spicy squid was great.Its bang for buck, will definitly visit again instead of the eat all you can, you can have your tummy full with the same price.

The staff are very accommodating and friendly but the place is dirty. I saw a big roach crawling on the ground and oh there's also a small roach on our Paella in the middle. Good thing i saw it right away or else we would've eaten it. I was really craving for a good Paella and it tastes really good no doubt.. the place just really needs improvement since its dirty..

Overall, I enjoyed our experience. They did take the time to make the table ready, the main course was good, the staff was caring, The food was amazing, with a wide variety of dishes and flavors that were sure to please everyone in my party. The service was also excellent, with the staff being friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was also great, with a cozy, inviting atmosphere. Overall, I would give this restaurant five stars for its delicious food, great service, and pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommended! I’d love to visit again. Celebrated our work anniversary here and we enjoyed the food that we ordered. Serving size was just enormous for us though. Would probably come back for the mixed sashimi and miso soup.

Handa down BEST value Japanese restaurant in Manila. Top quality at reasonable prices. My definite go to place for very good and high quality sashimi.Pro tip - get the chirashi bowl. It also comes with miso soup with clams! Once you go clams you never go back.

From experiencing mouth-watering dishes from Remedios Bistro, we visited next the famous Tanabe Japanese Restaurant also located at Malate Manila. First impression was astounding, you can really feel the vibrant colors of food, the place and as well as the happy mood of the staff. We experienced the true flavors of Japanese culinary at a very affordable price! For 2000+ Php. We ordered Salmon Sashimi, chicken karaage, tempura don, katsudon and onagidon. An unbelievably explosion of flavors in every bite, truly a premium class culinary dishes of Japan. Highly Recommended!! Will definitely come back soon! 5 Stars

Quite a gem in the Remedios area. This is probably one of the best Japanese restaurants I have ever dined in. This is mid-range price point at about ₱700 (in 2022) per head if you're really hungry. My husband got the steak set, and I got the tempura set. Both are complete meals right there for about ₱750 each, while our friends got salmon bowls. Everything is so gooooood, even the tofu appetizer. I hope they have branches in the South, too, as I haven't been able to encounter a Japanese restaurant this good in South NCR.

The place is nothing fancy, but it's spacious. You'll definitely enjoy the food because they serve authentic Korean dishes. They also have Chinese food. If you avail their "UNLI" I'd say it's really worth it. Their serving is very generous, but of course they have a "no left over" policy.

I love how they serve the food! But I'm warning you!! Serving is so big!! If you order the expensive set of menu! But highly recommended!!! The ambience may look dull coz it never renovate for a period of time. But the food is excellent 👌👍👌

Staffs are very friendly. I liked the garlic butter chicken and their side dishes. Jajangmyeon was okay. Boiled mandu did not meet my expectations. Would still eat there if I get the chance since I haven't tried half of their menu yet.

Great old school korean resto. They offer 499 unli beef and pork, 699 for beef and pork grill plus unli korean dishes. This is great, just be careful not to order too much. And also ask them about the serving size the korean noodle dishes were good for 3 already. Will go back here again. The staff were very courteous.

Their jajangmyeon is outstanding, the noodles and the sauce are excellent. However, their soup is not that rich. Their service and staff are excellent. Service fast, serving water and side dishes fast.

This is one of my favorite spots to go to when I'm in Manila. Their jjajangmyun (black bean noodle) rivals that of ones I've had in Seoul. The best part is that they're open 24 hours so it's a perfect place for a late night bite.

just want share to you this off-the-menu/secret menu item. the CURRY MAMI! its like your regular mami with any combo of toppings of your liking,but instead of the classic clear soup/broth everything is submerged in curry soup. its the only comfort food that warms up my tummy. you should try it!

It's a nice alternative to Ma Mon Luk, which is too far from Ermita, if you're craving for mami and siopao. I came after lunch hour and I have the place alone for myself. Weather was rainy and gloomy so the hot 'sabaw' of the beef and wanton soup (without noodles) hit the spot. The soup was tasty. Paired it with jumbo siopao, slathered everything with toyomansi and chili garlic and bob's your uncle. Will visit again, and probably try their rice toppings.

this was my lola's favorite wonton place, and it did not disappoint. here are some of the food we tried:🍜 spare ribs wonton noodles - 9/10. ang laki ng servings! the soup was flavorful, and the meat was tender :)🥟 asado siopao - 10/10. delicious siopao! it's medium-sized, pero napaka filling.would go here again! ang bait rin ng staff. 💫

The noodles are cooked perfectly — still firm and has the perfect chew. The broth is nicely seasoned, and the beef pieces are really tender, the filling of the wonton is too firm and dry for me (maybe because there wasn't a lot of fat in the filling). The same goes with their pork siomai, it was too firm and dry to me, but it tasted really nice! Street parking is available.

It’s good to see that Dragon is still up and running in spite of the numerous competition. The fishball mami and jumbo siopao sure did bring back a lot of memories. The flavors (and even the place) are still exactly the same the last time I was here.Why fix something that isn’t broken, right Dragon?

We ordered Beef Tendon Noodles, Chicken with Egg Congee, Dumpling Chicken Noodles, Siomai, Bola Bola Siopao, Asado Siopao and Chicken Feet. We recommend the noodles🍜, congee🥣 and siomai🥟. The chicken feet seems a little different from the usual we have tried before, the sauce is a bit watery and under seasoned. Overall it was a good experience.👏🚗Parking is limited.🚻Toilets need scrubbing. We were there like 9:30am and it is already filthy.⭐️Good customer service

This is the first time that I will be writing a review that is against the majority of reviews here in google. We were going to National Museum Complex and ended up here since it is nearby and its rating is high, so why not try yeah? We tried wanton tendon noodles and dumpling tendon noodles as recommended by some. First, I was expecting for incredibly tasting soup, which was unfortunately not. The soup was bland, it was not as rich as some described it. The noodles was just fine. The beef and tendons were more disappointing. I am a fan of tender meat but this one is too tender you can almost feel nothing in your palate. Well, if others prefer it to melt in their mouth, I am sorry it's not what I prefer in my noodles soup. Probably not coming back.
