Had a private dining at Yen W hotel. One of the best and most delicious authentic Chinese restaurants in KL.The price is on the high end but it’s definitely worth it.

Chong Li Ken11:31 06/27/23
This is my very first time not ordering their signature Golden Duck but rather spent more attention on the cantonese cuisine by Chef Tan. The boxing chicken is the kids' favourite, while the long jing smoked chicken is for the elderly. Hong Kong style steam bamboo fish just nicely done 😋Our super star item ✨️ 😍 for this time is the Wok Fried Prawn balls infused with my favourite Long Jing green tea. Last but not least, the hokkaido scallops & prawns braised with lobster broth and crispy rice for a warm, loving day. When we're here, we never question hospitality because the manager Vincent & crews will ensure you're well taken care of.For the row of 3 years, Yen still my favourite dining place to host important guests 😀

Moody Mee13:38 06/01/23
We were here for their dimsum buffet. Personally love their hokkaido dried scallop siew mai, fried lobster + water chestnut bean curd roll, sakura shrimp fried rice. Ahh, and their steamed king prawn with garlic and vermicelli.

Ryan Ooi11:44 02/26/23
The presentation of food was stunning and unique. The food arrived piping hot and absolutely awesome for overall taste than previous days. (got improvement compared to last visit by pre-covid)Don't miss up their truffle duck, golden brown drumstick, its a must to order on the list.

Poppy Flower18:57 11/13/22
This is a fancy halal dim sum place. I find all the dim sum are well presented in plate with some little flowers which bring a nice feeling by just looking at them even they are so tiny. I think this stated they are different from other dim sum place.I would like to give 5 stars to the pastry chef because I’ve found the best chicken pastry 叉烧酥, the fluffy texture of the pastry with a glaze of honey outside and a bit of sweetness from the chicken filling plus the walnut bites, I simply love them and I can eat them non stop.My top 3 list will be the chicken pastry, Portuguese tarts and the dessert pear soup. For the other items that I’ve tried were definitely meet the hotel standard. I’ll return to try the rest from the menu.

V C10:36 10/17/22
Was recommended by a friend that must try the golden roasted duck.. so here we are with much of disappointment.. we been to many roasted ducks restaurants the ducks was taste ok only. We ordered a fried veggie and it came with just warm not even hot. Service was not very attentive. Overall not a very good experience. There are many good Chinese restaurant in KL anyway

Pepper Morris11:33 09/23/22
We had a late lunch here today!A bit over rated! The presentation were fabulous but taste and flavor is a bit off!The chicken feet was way overcooked, more like a stew, same with the lotus leaf sticky rice! The soft shell crab and fish skin was nice but too much mayo! The jelly fish and abalone was decent! The food doesn’t make want to go again like the dim Sum at the mandarin Oriental which I intend to go again!I was surprised the tea was a tea bag!Pepper & Morris

Reg Ching13:22 06/13/22
Beautiful room with great views.Second time trying their all you can eat dim sum. Enjoyed every dish and tried their sea coconut dessert for the first time.Definitely glad I was starving before lunch as there were plenty of dishes to try out.Extra attentive staff and excellent service. Great venue for special occasions and we'll definitely be back!Follow my adventures IG @blingless

Yawfai Phang03:35 01/23/22
Food: quality & taste are excellent! Their signature dish, Yen Golden Duck is a must try.Environment: Very colorful, chic & modern design worth Instagram posting. Just that they should have pick a more comfortable chair.Service: Not up to expectations when the restaurant is in a 5 stars hotel. We requested for pickle green chili & vinegar for our seafood, which is quite common for thick soup, and they only serve when most of us finished our soup. Our plates were only changed once. Their team certainly required better training attending to their customers need. Hope they will improved the next time I revisit this place.

Foods were top notch! The view was spectacular. Service was excellent. Only downside is they have limited choice of menu and i didnt get a chance for the best seating view despite prebook days earlier during our anniversary date night... bit disapointed only on that.. but i love love love their creamed spinach n wet aged wagyu tenderloin. Supperrrrrrrr succulent!

Suhen R06:41 07/23/23
Marble 8 Steak House & Fine Dining Restaurant in KL left me absolutely impressed! The dining experience was exquisite from start to finish. The food was top-notch, especially the mouthwatering truffle pasta, which was a delightful culinary treat. The ambiance exuded elegance and sophistication, making it a perfect spot for a special occasion. Additionally, the panoramic view from the restaurant was breathtaking, adding to the overall charm. The cocktails were a delightful surprise, with unique flavors that perfectly complemented the meal. Without a doubt, Marble 8 is a must-visit destination for food enthusiasts seeking a memorable fine dining experience.

Eve Ko17:27 07/06/23
Nice place overall. Just not sure why the front desk insisted on us giving her the name and a phone number if we’re just walk-ins. We tried to call several times that night but no one picked up. Other than that, we had a great dinner experience.

Christopher Gorrie04:35 06/17/23
I give Marble 8 a 4.5 star rating (4.2 for food and 4.8 for service/atmosphere). The food was good, especially in the context of it being a steakhouse in Malaysia, but it wasn’t really at a level that I felt justified the pricing.I had the dry-aged wagyu ribeye, which was cooked perfectly but unfortunately under-seasoned. The accompanying peppercorn sauce was tasty. The creamed spinach and grilled asparagus were both nicely cooked and had good flavor, but were also slightly under-seasoned. I really, really enjoyed the crème brûlée and ice cream dessert. The atmosphere is nice, and you have a great view of the KL city center from the 56th floor of Syria KLCC. It’s very dim inside, but not ridiculously dark. The waitstaff does a good job of balancing their attentiveness so as to not be overly anxious about your dining experience.Overall, it was a good experience and the food was pretty good, but it just wasn’t worth ~700 MYR.

Nok T12:17 05/03/23
Had to celebrate our anniversary here, made a reservation and they were prepared for us a romantic table, and very attentive staff, food was so good especially the mini burgers! The cocktails was delicious too! Last but not least, the view was fantastic! Worth the money

Randy Ngatimin14:20 04/16/23
Marble 8 is a fantastic location for special occasions! It has fantastic views and a lovely setting. The wagyu beef is done very well, tender and flavourful. The complimentary bread and wagyu burger slider are also superb. Sides are good, and special mention to the crispy onion rings, perfectly well fried with a great batter mix. 👍🏿

Vivo06:59 02/05/23
My wife and I loved our experience here. We didn't order top of the line steaks, but the signature beef cheeks, bone marrow dish, along with salad and drinks, plus we were given some complimentary items.Everything was very delicious and the price tag was more than reasonable for the quality atmosphere, view, and exceptional service.

2 B16:53 09/03/22
One word to sum up this review would be DECENT. First off there are better places that serves quality steak. The service here was incredible and the staff were attentive and knowledgeable. But the quality of steak is normal. The view is nice and I guess that's what you're paying for. Had beef tartar which was alright as the truffle overpowered the taste of the beef. Had a really jai feeling after eating so much truffle. The tomahawk portion was surprisingly small. Taste wise it was just ok. Guess i expected too much from this place. Thanks for the complementary wagyu beef burger tho. It was delicious.

Thachanamoorti Kajaintharan (Thachana)15:45 07/27/22
Had one of the finest steaks but (personal preference) the plate came a bit empty. Steak was cooked to perfection. The lobster was fresh and was cooked to the dot. Will go again for sure. Prices are secondary as long as the food is tasty.

Han Low04:49 01/09/22
“Other than the fact they are on the 56th floor, nothing stands out that is worth another trip”Disappointed with the meal and the service of certain staff who were rather inattentive and didn’t seem too interested in explaining their items. However, their head staff redeemed themselves by offering several free dishes (though it wasn’t that grand a gesture considering the amount I spent here)In terms of food, their signature beef steaks were rather underwhelming and certainly does not live up to the hype or price tag.

Great place to have fine dining for authentic Malay cuisines. Quite limited seats so better to make a reservation beforehand.Food tastes good except the daging panggang (meat was not tender).

Elton Hiew10:45 06/03/23
High end restaurant with the combination of Malay fusion and traditional fusion food. Price is high but the taste of the food is good. Service provided by the waiter and waitress are awesome as well.

Piet Coelewij07:31 03/18/23
4.4/5 (4/5 food; 5/5 service; 3/5 atmosphere). The food was good! A pretty standard local menu, but overall good. The wine menu was also pretty decent which i was not expecting. I would have appreciated a bit more of a twist/creativity in the plates considering the marked up prices. Staff were helpfull and friendly. We were put outside next to some construction work that was going on, only negative thing of the night.

Neil09:29 11/19/22
I came here for dinner whilst visiting KL for the weekend. It’s a lovely restaurant with friendly staff and decent food. It’s a bit more upmarket than some of the local restaurants and the prices reflect that. I had the satay to start, and beef rendang for a main. The satay was fantastic, but the sauce on the rendang was a bit too thick and didn’t look that much like the picture. It tasted fine, but there was just not a lot going on with the dish

Leonardo14:06 08/28/22
One of my favorite restaurants in KL.I recommend the prawns with curry and nuts and the slightly spicy rice. The Laksa is also delicious. The customer service is exquisite and the location perfect for a dinner.Highly recommended.

Ong Wai Kean14:02 08/07/22
It was night after night of makaning good food during my 3 days of regional sales meeting. So I got to try out Bijan on one of those nights. Yes, it's true. The food is really good here. This has got to be the most expensive Malay food I've ever had the chance to savour. Would I pay for it myself? I just might. To celebrate something with my family. Just need to find an excuse for that.

Edoardo Toffano10:07 07/24/22
Classic restaurant with asian cuisine. But don't be fooled. The menu is completely renewed. The place is very nice, almost formal. The staff is polite and courteous. The choice of dishes is varied and able to satisfy anyone (even vegetarians). Wide choice of meat dishes. Very special sweets. Recommended.

Kai16:53 07/04/22
Threadfin (kurau) with pisang kapas: really generous portion. TastyRusuk panggang: very tender meat. The flavor can be a bit too strong but we love it. Our favourite. Generous portion of meat that comes with generous sambalKerabu mangga: generous portion. Tastes goodFried popiah: fried to perfection. The sauce is sour, which is not our preferenceOverall, the food portion is bigger than average. Great ambience, great vibes & the food taste meets our expectations.

WeiJian LIN09:36 04/14/22
Authentic Malay food. Perfect nice setting for gatherings. Service was great too!Downsides - Buffett ends at 930pm before their show starts n have to pay extra to stay onParking is not easy too as it's along a single lane road. There are other nearby open air parking options available for RM10 per entry at Jalan Alor area or nearer the restaurant.

Real Customer Reviews at Skillet KL:

Jeff Brusa10:13 08/08/23
Had 4 course lunch with matched wines, the staff were excellent, very attentive and explained every course placed in front of us after serving, the food was outstanding. I highly recommended this excellent restaurant.

Ice Cream02:21 07/15/23
Food were good with maybe 1-2 misses but generally it is good.Service is however another story. The Thai lady is inexperienced, rude & unaccommodating. Not apologetic even when pouring wine out of my glass and just gave a hasty response of I will get a new glass. No remorse, no apology was given after feedback. Other staffs were ok but it only takes one person to spoil the entire experience. It is important to note that front line staffs makes a very huge impact to the experience. It’s a big NO for pouring wines out of glass twice, and not even a sorry for making such an amateur mistake. Even if you have the best chef in the world, but when the service is rubbish, there is no room for discussion. Spend some money to train these people or hire experienced people

Emeline Tong09:48 07/09/23
Overall this restaurant provides a satisfying dining experience. I’m there to celebrate my friend’s birthday during lunch time and the staff remembered my special request for the wish on the last course. 4 stars were given to the service as the staff do not initiate to explain the menu and recommend which course, only after I asked the staff to explain and then only he started explaining. At the end of course, another server came to ask whether we want to order coffee, which we already placed our order in earlier time. I believe the restaurant should place one server for orderingto one table not to confuse the order. The presentation of the food for the main courses were not very well presented so I didn’t take photos of the main courses because nothing special about it. But the taste is exceptional good. I hope it can enhance the presentation even it is lunch courses. Another thing to highlight there is no visitor parkings and we have to play for valet parking with no service (self park) which I don’t think it is reasonable price (that why I gave 4 stars) because you don’t feel welcome to the restaurant. My friend was not happy with the parking and this is supposedly to make a good impression to my guest. I hope this review can help to improve the restaurant and hoping their success to future Michelin one star.

I am not a gourmet, but I think these are haute cuisine dishes in which I do not understand anything, as an ordinary person, lovers of haute cuisine will like it. I can safely say that the desserts were for sure! 20 out of 10 points. For an ordinary person, I think to come here is waste of 🤑 . The staff is super helpful and friendly, the interior is luxurious. took a course of 9 dishes and paid $150 for everything~

Kean Sin Yap09:10 05/20/23
Celebrating our wonderful anniversary by having lunch here. Our waiting staff Ibrahim was welcoming, very attentive, polite and professional. Thank you Chef Eric for the great appetiser explanation. The foods are amazing, recommend the Pasta with smoked duck. They served wine, cocktails and coffee/tea too. Definitely worth checking them out.

HUH13:24 02/25/23
Came to Skillet for my girl's birthday and the experience was great. The service crew was very attentive and they are always to serve up.the food was quick and we did not have to wait long.i would say the best dish we had was the duck.the skin is so crispy but somehow they made it just well done. Not chewy at all.I would 100% recommend for people to try out Skillet if yall are looking for a simple 3-4 course lunch at an affordable price. The lamb and some dessert requires add-on but the add-on was kinda worth it for my experience.

Peter Gan14:24 09/01/22
This was one of my friends must try lists. We reserved this place for a friend’s birthday dinner. Located at the heart of KL. The building house a few other popular restaurants as well. Service was excellent and attentive. Kudos for the vegetarian menu. I thoroughly the whole vegetarian course. My favourite was their desserts. I think they should standardise the menu without having to top up for the different dishes.

Mark Duncan11:39 05/08/22
Great 3 course lunch for mothers day.Food tasted excellent with the chef presenting each course. Service throughout was attentive and the pacing of the meal was perfect for a leisurely Sunday lunch.Expensive but go for the experience for a special occasion.

Mikie Lee23:04 01/15/22
They have really great and attentive service but their food is sub par for me.Way below average for an awarded restaurant, which makes me wonder am I late to the party when Skillet cooked better food??Plating is decent but the taste is way below average. for the price, I’d rather go to DC restaurant where you hit all points for superb service, beautiful plating and the most importantly, the excellent taste.

David Zandi11:54 08/01/23
Came here after I saw they had 888 review and 888 being my favorite angel number. I got the big filet and I was blown away by the quality. Forgot to tell the sever I wanted mashed potatoes and the manager quickly received it. It can get pricey (based on local prices) depending on what you order. Steak and glass of wine came out to $59. As someone who lives in Miami, it isn’t that bad… but for KL price, that’s pretty high. Coming back here tomorrow for the salmon… to be continued!!!Yesterday was 5 stars and today we become 3 stars. Why? Came back the next day for the salmon. Amazing dish… only problem and it’s a major problem… the salmon and the risotto was precooked and heated and served… so it lacked that sizzling freshness. Both the salmon and the risotto. What’s even more offensive. Is that the waiter was out with my dish, literally 2 minutes after I ordered and told me it was super fresh… if it was in fact super fresh he wouldn’t have to tell me… and it wouldn’t be ready in 2 minutes. On average it takes 14 to 20 minutes to make fresh salmon.

Celebrated my love anniversary at this wonderful authentic Old Malaya building with nice food, romantic, and facing nice view of KL Tower. My wife and I enjoy the romantic dinner set for two of total RM300+.Black angus sirlion is nice (medium rare) comes with asparagus and mashed potatoes. Fair portion.Cod fish was abit small and nice, but the milky sauce doesn’t seems to pair well with the taste of cod fish. Can be improvise.Cold angel hair as appetizer was nice to start of the meal. Pumpkin soup was ok.Our dessert dark chocolate ganache was super delicious and big portion. But two things can be improve on the overall dining experience.First, the table is too near to another table causing abit discomfort to dine romantically with your loved ones. The next door person seems to keep listening to your action/conversation can be annoying at times.Second, to play more romantic music for your diners.Overall, we enjoy the surrounding scenery inside and outside.Along this street, there are many interesting restaurants can be try with nice view ranging from italian, seafood and steak.Parking was easy as Pampas has a paid valet service of RM20-RM25.

cheng xin03:20 07/25/23
We had high expectations on this restaurant because of the good google reviews, ambience and high prices. We ordered scallops, barramundi, medium cooked angus beef sirloin and medium cooked wagyu beef burger. The scallops and ratatouille side for the barramundi were undercooked. Both dishes were sent back to the kitchen but the ratatouille was still raw after that. I was told by the waiter that the courgette in ratatouille could be eaten raw but this was not written on the menu.Burger and steak (which was cooked to medium rare but that it's ok) were mediocre. The only saving grace was the french fries side for the burger.

First time, was not sure where to go, came across this place. Definitely will visit again when I am. I KL.Great service from the waiter Margaret.

Sarikka02:42 06/29/23
Came here for dinner. Close by Menara KL. There's parking available for RM15. Loved the staff service here. A staff outside the restaurant asked us where we would like to sit and escorted us. After giving the menu, another staff explained their specialties and other dishes that they also offer that's not in the menu. Once ordered, the staff gave us napkins and some nice slices of bread for a starter. Once our foods arrived, the staff also offered to take a picture for us. We ordered the beef burger and Norwegian salmon with risotto. Decent portion, worth the price and tasted great. The house wine was also good. Also loved the cosy and romantic environment. Would definitely come back again.

Azr Ros10:24 06/01/23
This modern restaurant is set in a restored colonial house. A great setting for those who like the 'old money' vibe. Food is excellent. We had the tomahawk. Nice and juicy. Prices match the ambiance of course. But it's worth the experience.

J14:56 03/10/23
I came here twice and the first time was definitely way better than the steak I had today. I ordered for a medium , but it is almost cooked to well done. I’m very disappointed with the steak. However the scallop was good and the service is really good. I also really like the environment here. So I will still give it a 4 stars, but the food today is only worth a 3 stars.

SeasonBean16:24 12/14/22
The ambience was nice. It was an old colonial bungalow house. Western and fusion cuisine with varieties of wine. I had black angus beef steak. Medium well. What I liked most was the advice given by the waiter in choosing the menu. I wasn't sure what type of steak to order but the waiter's suggestion was delicious. The steaks are very nice, the beef is very beefy and good taste. Starters served very quickly but we had a very long wait before the mains are served, suggest to make order in advanced before the later crowd came in. Nice setting for couples, small and big family gatherings. Car park is limited to only valet at rm15 each entry.

KK Liew15:41 07/28/22
Like the open air, with clear sky, nice table spacing. The problem is mosquitoes, it's not a few, it's plenty of them. The steaks are very nice, the beef is very beefy and good taste. The appetizer of octopus is so so only.Parking is super limited

Cornelius Velo08:19 02/13/22
The ambience was nice. It was an old colonial bungalow house. Western and fusion cuisine with varieties of wine. Mock tails were superb. I had rack of lamb. Medium well. What I liked most was the advice given by the waiter in choosing the menu. I wasn't sure what type of lamb to order but the waiter's suggestion was delicious. Nice setting for couples, small and big family gatherings.

Eda Lim01:17 01/26/22
Had a great experience for group dining in Pampas , great ambiance , steak was flavourful and the starters are great especially the salmon roll. Grilled octopus leg was over cooked so it’s rubbery texture, flavour was ok. I heard mix review for other dishes , perhaps sticking to the steak will be a good option. The restaurant offered great ambiance both indoor and outdoor, staffs are helpful in general. Starters served very quickly but we had a very long wait before the mains are served , suggest to make order in advanced before the later crowd came in. Car park is limited to only valet at rm15 each entry.

Justine Chua00:40 01/09/22
Went there for my mom’s birthday. The interior environment was very calm and chill. Love the decoration. Starter was good. Salmon was too raw to it for some people, crispy outer layer, raw inside. Love the spinach. Thick and huge beef given but it could be better. The portion was big as well but foods could be better as the price was quite 👆🏻. Service was quite bad actually please improve on that😀

The fun dining concept is pretty cute, we can hear the Malaysian accent from the petit chef, feel more down to earth.6 courses are more than enough for us, my top 1 dish is the one from India, it’s incredible! The fish dish from China is slightly disappointing, can be better. The commentator is so fun, everything is under her control in an interesting way. Good job!

Cassandra Wong09:48 02/18/23
Love the dining experience and definitely worth experience. We had 3 couples that night on the same table and I thought the seats arrangement just give us just enough privacy. We went for Marco Polo's expedition with wine pairing and lovin' the overall experience. Memorable dish for me was the Chinese dish with 8head abalone and black angus short ribs, and the desserts! Dessert came in last and we were a little too full to finish all of it but the dessert was really good. The introductory of the dishes had a bit of mistakes from the host, i was thinking if it's a recorded will be better! But it doesn't spoil the night at all 🙂 worth visiting!

We love every part of the fun-dining🥰. Amazing 3D show of Le Petit Chef in the footsteps of Marco Polo, great host & services. My daughter was so excited and enjoyed it very much. She still keep mentioning the fun of it every day until now and would love to come again to Grand Hyatt KL. My husband (the birthday man) & I love the overall performance tremendously. The food from various parts of the world are super delicious too. Love the explanations and greetings of various languages representing the food. Thanks to all the staff and chefs who came out & sang the birthday song to celebrate my husband birthday. It means a lot to us. We would love to come again to Grand Hyatt KL in the near future for the amazing services.

This was my first time dining in with Marco Polo ,and I have a wonderful & fresh experience! The environment setting (*sound ambience, lighting , room temperature) is awesome, and the time interval of serving every dishes was just nice and not too drag/rush, the team were doing a great job that day. Lastly the dish are another level of cuisine that really brought out the taste resemblance of every culture -France, Arabia, India, Himalaya, China. Overall thumbs up!

chris koh12:58 08/22/22
We were greeted with warm hospitality and smiles. We expected the show to take the highlight and our expectations of the food was not very high but we were pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. The laughter filled the room from the story and the food filled our tummies.Great night. The service, superb. Thanks for making my son's birthday and our dinner a truly memorable one

Kylie T02:13 07/21/22
Extraordinary fine dining experience, with the world’s smallest chef. The ambiance is unique, the show is cute, the service is excellent, the utensils are beautiful, the food is delicious… Simply perfect! It’s truly amazing to “travel” around while dining. Such a great adventure! Indeed an unforgettable dining experience!

Ima Az22:55 07/01/22
I had my son birthday here..love the fun eating experience..he had so much fun..he enjoyed his special birthday dinner..i enjoyed the fun experience too..glad my son had a great time..the staff & place were great..the staff entertain his request to sing him a birthday song - appreciate it 🥰💕..the projector quality, kids selection menu & few food taste can be improved..

E T309:05 01/04/22
We had the dinner on 31st December where no fireworks was allowed due to pandemic. We were lucky where we managed to watch the virtual fireworks with excellent visual and sound effects on the table through Marco Polo's Expedition. The kids were excited with the cloud making dish on the table. The French and Chinese dishes turned out higher than our expectations. However, the butter chicken for kids was slightly too sweet. They need to improve their kid's meal.

It was such a lovely place for a date night, portion size was great, views was lovely , and we got the best seats in the house.

Alsy Lim09:02 03/31/23
This is rather the most disappointing place I've ever visited in a long while. I came with no knowledge of how or what this place was (as I was invited to this place by other members and I see no reason to dig for more information then) and therefore came with absolutely no expectations, yet I was severely disappointed by many aspects of it.We were served bread rolls with butter at the start. The rolls were quite stiff and dry; particular its crust. It is as if the rolls were prepared ahead of time but left in the open to dry out before being served. The butter, which, as far as we can tell was compound butter was rather flat in taste and flavour. Was that the intention? Then, the next items to arrive were the octopus appetisers and complementary scallops. Both, in which took forever to arrive. I can't comment about the octopus as I had none but the scallops were cold by the time we got them. The texture was also a tiny bit on the chewier side but still fine. The flavours were also fine. Just fine. The next item to arrive was.... I think a sherbet. I believe it was also complementary. We believe that the complementary items were to pacify us from getting upset over very delayed foods. And yes, food was slow again. The frozen treat was....fine... Nobody could really tell what flavour it was supposed to be. Some suspected mulberry. Some raspberry. Some said a mix of berries. It also had a very off-putting aftertaste. It was just a tiny scoop but I did not finish it.Now, the mains. I got the duck while my partner had the Black Angus. The duck came with mashed potatoes and some root vegetables sticks. The mash was....fine. Could be a tiny bit more creamy but let's chalk that down to preference. Nonetheless, it was just fine. The vegetables sticks were not very impressive. They tasted very much just like the vegetables that they are without much of anything else. So, just...fine.... The duck, I really had a problem with. Part of the duck was very, very tough. I had difficulty cutting those parts where it resembled cutting into tendon parts, but it was just breast meat. The meat also had a weird off-putting taste and flavour which became more evidence the more I ate it. I did not finish the duck. The black angus faired better as it was tender and tasted very much like beef. That said, it also had very little to offer otherwise. It was flat in taste, and any complementary flavours were not present.I will give credit to where credit is due. The service provided by every single staff were great. From the jockey to the table crew, all were attentive, friendly, polite and were quick to react when they noticed that one of our members of dinner left something behind without realising it. They essentially contacted staff on the ground floor to inform us while someone from the restaurant came to us with the item. Parking tickets were also handled efficiently. The staff immediately asked for our jockey parking tickets when we told them where we were heading. Thus, eliminating the unnecessary wild goose chase that can sometime happen when information was not provided clearly.Side note: All the things used for the food were reusable. Nothing were one-time use plastics or even serviettes.Side note 2: This place isn't wheelchair friendly as far as I can tell. The restaurant portion would require guests to walk up a few flight of stairs. However, the bar and pool area are more accessible.

One of the BEST fine dining experience I ever experienced!!! The gourmet curated menu compliments everything! Perfect ambience, environment, the atmosphere, service, it’s worth it.Bring your loved ones and immerse yourself in every meal. Highly recommended.Cielo is definitely a gem with Michelin-star level food and service

Frank00:18 01/08/23
Stylish roof top restaurant with vibrant atmosphere. 2 levels with well organized seating, open kitchen, a bar and even a pool (not sure if one is allowed to use it). Very attentive and friendly personnel always understanding your needs without being to pushy. Excellent selection of food and beverages which of course comes at a price. Overall an experince not to be missed.

Adeline Yeong14:41 01/07/23
Cielo offers an unobstructed city view at night - literally the KL skyline and can't help but fall in love with the very city itself. Although the menu was kept to a minimum but it definitely did not hamper with the quality. Ordered the steak and it came mid rare as I had requested and it was good 👍Parking - they provide free valet parking if you dine for a minimum value or RM100 and above

Hanis Zainul06:38 08/23/22
I LOVE Cielo. Like I seriously LOVE this place. I have brought my family, my friends, celebrated Birthdays, had date nights here, you name it. The ambiance and their steak is what brings me back all the time. I think price wise is quite decent too, considering the food and the ambiance that you're paying for. Their oysters are fresh, the steaks and desserts are good too. I don't mind paying for drinks, I mean, I'd rather pay for drinks than pricey mineral water. That's the only flip-side.

Messab Tabraiz15:39 07/03/22
Nice food, portion is on a lower side, warm staff, ambience is also fine.. but a bit expensive for the services.. we spent RM 798 for a couple 🙂

Joanne Chan00:35 06/09/22
Indulged by the KLCC view, ambience, music, service, food, drinks all in one roof. I love to be seated next to the serving bar to see food presentation. Nice place to take photo and all ushers are well trained to give idea which spot is the best spot to take photo, that’s a plus point.

Alyssa Yu04:54 01/04/22
Amazing experience. Came here for hubby’s birthday dinner. Managed to book for a seat smoothly through their website & their staff was attentive (they even messaged me to let me know the cake i delivered to their restaurant has arrived). Parking was not a hassle as there was a valet, the ambience of the place was just amazing. It was pretty high up so the view that night was lovely. Service was great, food was also really good! Of course, prices are definitely on the pricier side but it’s definitely worth the experience imo. Total bill was RM800+ which wasn’t too bad. We also ordered their salmon (not in the pictures) and it was flavourful as well!

Da Feng02:12 12/28/21
I confused whether it's a rooftop or hall.Staffs service are so good and friendly. Satisfied with every meal despite some are small portion especially appetizers.A water bottle so expensive. So we order watermelon juice. However, two glass of watermelon juice is more expensive than one water bottle.Dining experience is so good. It's raining. No clear KL view.

Ordered the afternoon tea. Afternoon tea set was RM198/2 pax. Will recommend if you're keen to try an afternoon tea with amazing KLCC view. Afternoon tea set comes with savoury sandwiches and sweet desserts.Recommend to make a reservation as the restaurant may get quite busy. If you're wanting to get a window seat for the KLCC backdrop, will recommend to go at 12noon, just when they start serving. As for the service, staff may not be too well-verse with the Hyatt membership. You may need to wait a while.

Ugene Ooi12:40 07/17/23
Decided to try this restaurant due to the nice view and good reviews. Was very disappointed with the quality of the food for the price. Ordered the Angus steak and requested it to be cooked medium rare, however it was too tough to chew and couldn’t finish it. The risotto was unappetising. The mac and cheese was the best out of the 3 but below average compared to other restaurants. If you choose to come here, keep in mind you’ll be paying for the view not the food👎🏻

Yazreena Zaimey11:34 07/05/23
Had afternoon tea here twice last month and had an incredible time. Make sure you request for the table by the window if you want clear view of the twin towers! The afternoon tea is one of the most affordable ones compared to other 5 star hotels around KL (RM 199 for 2 pax). And you also pay for the view! The staffs are also really nice and friendly and helped to take our photos. I’ll definitely be back ❤️

osp_i13:20 06/26/23
High tea with a stunning view. The food was awesome just that need to wait a little long for them to serve but overall still good. Will definitely go again, highly recommend this for all kind of friends and family gathering.

Jin Hong03:47 06/11/23
Good menu and good environment for afternoon tea set.Not my first time visited thirty8 for afternoon tea set. This round is a better one, in terms of food taste and menu, RM198 for two, more than enough to fill my tummy. I like their ice cream, chocolate and mousse, dim sum salty set.Service and atmosphere wise, still very good. Please find attached menu for your reference.Price: 8/10Food: 8/10Service and Environment: 9.5/10Parking: 7/10 (in house parking and open area parking is available)

They changed their menus, the foods are good but not much amazed me as before(afternoon tea). It's really relaxing, you can enjoy your free flow drinks and foods they serve. They have foods or snacks that out of the menus e.g. sour and spicy Chinese noodle, beef croissant and premium flower tea during my visit day. Just be patience as they serve the foods one by one, interval of 15-20 minutes after one dish. The staffs are good and polite. Be sure you have make reservations before you visit. I have spent my time here for 3hours+, you can take a lot of nice pictures with good views.

Terence Kong09:55 02/19/23
The restaurant boasted a warm ambience and we were welcomed by friendly staff who spoke fluent English. You can definitely enjoy an amazing high tea experience here despite the moderate-sized crowd. Also, this is one of the most popular places in the city to have such an experience with a reasonable price.Their food and portion size were very satisfactory and the fact the drinks were bottomless made the entire experience even more wonderful. Whenever we needed to ask for assistance, the staff was quick to respond and made sure that every aspect of our dining experience went swimmingly.Because the restaurant is located high up in the sky, it boasts great views of the city in a very well-lit beautiful, glass enclosed space. We could see the Petronas Twin Towers clearly through the windows.Awesome experience and I will definitely come back here again when the next opportunity comes up.

Mina Kaharuddin05:34 02/04/23
This place is just wonderful. We had a high tea with a "Malaysian twist," which, for me, is unique than the typical high tea with scones and clotted cream. Every bits of food we had was creatively curated and tasted so good! We were absolutely stuffed with so much food being served + ice cream all inclusive of the high tea price. We're also very pleased that the tea and coffee are bottomless. We spent over 2 hours here - enjoying the view and the delicious food.

Bel13:24 11/15/22
Overall, the ambience and service wasn’t too bad but there were times when we had to remind the staff about our orders. But, the view was nice enough to ease any formof impatience.I got the voucher from their website. RM 188 for their afternoon tea was pretty worth it I must say! But, it’s more on the sweet side.Great presentation, but just too sweet for my liking. The food and desserts just kept coming! It’s a good place for champagne brunch and for intimate dining for dinner with your partner. The only thing that loses points is they aren’t really that attentive with the voucher system and only contacted me after I got home to ask me to email them my voucher cuz they forgot to check.First of, thank god I’m not sensitive and complied with the girl.Secondly, I’m a paying customer and they made it seem like it was my fault for not presenting the voucher. No apologies from their end. And you’re in the hospitality line for one of the top names in the industry? Better level up guys!

Zachary Sikui13:05 10/28/22
Overall, it was a good experience. Great view, service was fantastic. The food were great mostly. My only complain will be with pasta, it tasted very plain.Fine dining with a great view overlooking the Petronas Twin Towers. You can’t beat this view in Malaysia.Price was quite reasonable I believe for a fine-dining experience.Recommended! Great place for a date or proposal.

Clarice Wong07:17 06/24/22
The restaurant starts at 12pm, so though we are a little early, we were asked to sit at one corner of the lounge with no options for ordering refreshment. The initial usher to the table was a little bumpy, however, they did give us a very nice table overlooking the tower, and we are very grateful for that.We ordered lunch, followed by high tea.The services a little slow and could see the staff are not too well trained.1. The bread with olive oil was served before lunch. This gives a weird combination as we ordered Chinese food.2. We were rushed through our lunch, so that they can bring us the high tea. It was quite annoying. Was asked if they could clear the plates when it was obvious that there were still food on it.3. Lunch was actually surprisingly good, compared to the high tea.4. Items on the high tea set was a bit of a hit and miss. Cappuccino was just hot milk with a dash of coffee taste. But I guess you come here for the company and view, and not so much to sample the best high tea in town. The lava chocolate cake in the set however was very good.Overall the portion is big and the price is reasonable given that it is strategically located.Come here if you want to enjoy the view for a decently priced high tea (compared to others with the same view). If you are not picky with what you eat, the high tea set can be a decent choice.

It's not easy to find a decent Spanish restaurant around KL. Had my anniversary dinner here last week , we ordered a set menus for 4. Good food , good ambience, and very attentive staff .Oh ya free valet parking just around the corner.

Daphnee Ong05:52 06/07/23
My dining experience was nothing short of extraordinary. The restaurant successfully marries exceptional food with an enchanting ambience, creating a harmonious symphony for the senses. From the visually stunning presentation to the exquisite flavours, each aspect of the meal surpassed my expectations. I wholeheartedly recommend the restaurant to all food enthusiasts seeking a culinary adventure in a delightful and inviting setting.

Hw13:08 06/06/23
My friends and I visited this restaurant during our vacation. It was a satisfying experience overall. The food quality was decent. The free bread was served with pork paste and it was roasted well, crispy outside and soft inside. We ordered 2 appetizers and 3 main courses. The grilled squid and grilled vegetables tasted fresh. The signature sausage and shoulder steaks were tender. The omni vegan steak was suprisingly juicy and taste well with the black pepper sauce. And the side dishes tasted good that we cleared every dish. And a complemented drink was given after finishing all the dishes. The environment was nice. The floor was clean, not sticky or slippery. The table is spacious and I like the salt lamp on the table. The serivce was satisfying. The waitor cleared the table after we finished 1 dish and served the next dish. The serve order and flow are standard.

Elena Lee06:19 05/06/23
Pork knuckle is hard and not very crispy. Taste is okay but expected much better quality food for the price paid. Service wise is 5 star.

Syvian Lim14:39 04/21/23
Dine in during dinner hour in Apr24. Due to just walk-in without prior reservation so they arrange outdoor seating as majority have make their reservation earlier & indoor seating have been reserved.1st time tried this restaurant & is kinda disappointed.Ordered the Jamon iberico de bellota el pata negra - ham is way too salty and rock melon is serve in ball size so there is not ham wrapping with melon when served . Putting too much olive oil in which i think is not necessary as since the iberico ham itself already very salty. Not really meeting my liking actually.Oven roasted Spanish iberico spare ribs - this is their signature dish & the spare ribs is taste bland instead . The sauce pair with it is apple & pineapple sauce in which I dunno how to describe the taste of the sauce where I don’t feel the sauce is a good pair with the spare ribs. I would not recommend this dish .The one plate 4 mini sausage is kinda disappointing. This is not meeting the par when you comparing with the real Germany sausage.Staffs are friendly actually. Price wise is definitely above average / slightly high.Seen lots good review on this restaurant . Perhaps what is the most signature is the piglet. Didn’t try this round due to only 2 pax in which will be too big portion .

Oscar15:57 04/07/23
First try Spanish food, appreciate the food but might not suit my family taste. However, i would like to commend on the service by Aiza. She was friendly and attentive. It was my mum birthday and we didnt specifically request for anything but she gave us a surprise with free cake on the house and few shots of drinks. Really appreciated that.

Riz Baldivia23:45 11/02/22
Good food. Gambas al ajillo, paella traditional mixta, chorizo al vino etc… went for dinner and its good for sharing. Cant complain about the food. Minus one for the slow service. Could be better. The staff tho are friendly. Dont forger to sign up on their werners program to get discount on your next dine in to any of their sister’s company. I got 25 rm discount from joining at whisky bar.I think the pork knuckle would be great too. Would try that next time.

Wanderlust World23:31 05/29/22
It is a bit challenging to find a good Spanish restaurant here. The option is limited.Come here to visit based on the good reviews.Ordered several dishes of tapas. The portion is fine and you will fill up eventually. The service is good, staff will keep checking in if you need anything. There are indoor and outdoor sittings. Also spacious not too close to the next table.Foodwise some are better than others.Overall can give a try.

Andrew Inglis14:48 05/05/22
Excellent food and great service. Highly recommend the bruschetta and the mountain paella. The only negative (and I'm not removing stars for it because it might have been a one time thing) is that it got very hot the longer we were there. Before the restaurant filled up the AC was coping but by the end it was cooler outside.

Cherrie Tañada06:00 01/04/22
We had the New Year's brunch buffet and it was amazing! I liked the main dishes, the salad and pistachios ice cream! It was not a regular buffet where there are big or long tables where you will get the food but you will have to fill out a form each time you want to order anything from the buffet menu then they will serve it to you. Maybe due to Covid that's why they have arranged it this way. The service was great! You do not have to wait long to serve the food. We will definitely be back!

CMJF05:08 12/31/21
The food here is exceptional not only in taste, but also presentation. We ate with a friend who is Spanish and he said it was the most authentic Spanish food & experience he has had outside of Spain. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Their attention to detail & customer service is the best we have experienced in all of Malaysia.

One of the best dining experienced I ever had, the pitch dark environment let us be able to enjoy the food to its fullest and constantly guessing what you are eating, the food itself was superb, dinning in the dark makes the flavour of the food explode in your mouth.Definitely recommended to anyone celebrating and special occasion or just want a good dining experience

It’s a very interesting experience. They are very professional n make you feel safe though you are uncertain what you are in for. The food is top grade, very interesting n all taste very good.we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner n the experience. The server is blind n he is very good with his services. Able to make conversation to make us comfortable being in the dark n gave very good instructions to guide us throughout our 4 course dinner of 14 different servings. Well done Dining In The Dark. Kudos.I will want to eat here again.

It was an amazing experience. It was thrilling to dine without being able to see anything. The visually impaired staff provided great service and made the experience even more special. Highly recommended!

Excellent experience. Second time here and my guests thoroughly enjoyed itm one of the waitstaff were coughing and sniffing heavily which was worrying given the covid situation. Honestly that made us a bit wary about cleanliness and safety. But all in all I would recommend this place if you're looking for an experiential dining. Bar manager was also extremely friendly and courteous. Wine was divine, good selections.

All pic taken from outsiders before entering to in the dark dining room. Cause is really totally darkness when we enter for dining 😅 tbh.. very surprise for the darkness. Dun really feel comfortable…, abit dizzy while having my meal. Staff is very friendly n the one who serving us food is a blind person. The moment I entering to the darkness, I can feel him … as a blind person. And I’m so proud of him that he can serve us well.., letting us know every movement . Food was okay, I can’t describe much cause I dun even know wat I’m eating at the moment 😅, but I try to enjoy it. You only can experience by its own .

Dined here probably 8 years ago, planned to do my proposal here, but didn't. Long story short, brought my wife here for her birthday last week instead.Pro:- Fantastic dining experience- You're paying for the experience, not food. But it does taste goodCon:- If you or guest have phobia of darkness

It's a memorable experience dining in pitch dark. I had fun trying to guess what we were having. I was putting my senses to full use. I'm pleased with the service provided. Food may not be up to my taste but it's the great experience that I enjoyed.

An establishment that enables the blind to gain employment. We had a surprise birthday dinner here for a friend. Quite an experience...menu is made known after all is done. It's interesting menu that we either get partially an ingredient or two but many others will throw the scent off. Wine pairing is optional. To maintain the experience no cameras are allowed inside the dining area. They are kept in a locker throughout. The good thing is the menu is regularly altered to keep dining experience fresh.

Hospitable hosts by Ms. Chitra, delicious dishes, and beautiful presentation. My family and I went for an authentic Malaysian meal. For mains, we had the Curry Leaf Burn Butter Fish, Saffron Spiced Lamb, and Taiping duck is delicious. The service was amazing and we liked talking to Ms Chitra.I recommend it to everyone! I would like to come back here again and again.Thanks.

The food was beautifully presented and delicious. We enjoyed everything we ate and drank. Our highlight was the mango manner appetizer, the avocado mushroom sides, and the scallop and ravioli dishes. The wagyu beef was also good but didn't blow us away as much as we wished. The cauliflower steak was divine, and the tuna appetizer and guacamole were also very good. This place has a great ambiance, a wacky music playlist, and reliable service. I would come back here again in a heartbeat.

Divine flavour pairing, an exceptional gastronomic experience that truly pampers your senses. Great service, tasty cocktails and lovely ambience!Everything was simply delicious - except for the creole prawn & smoked tamarind which tasted a bit too tangy for our liking.

Honestly came here many many moons ago. Parking limited. All other facilities n service level were top notch. Food too were of different calibre in terms of taste n presentation. Ideal spot for special occasions n for a different atmosphere. Day n night dishes were not the same n would probably come again to experience the night dishes. Recommended

Manja was a lovely experience. My wife and I went for an authentic Malaysian meal. For starter we had the crab cake and escargot. They were both lovely. Big portions and tasty. For mains we had the butter fish and the rib eye steak, both again really good. Steak was cooked perfectly. The cocktails did not taste too great, a bit too much juice but the presentation was good. The service was amazing and we really liked talking to Bob and the team. Thanks again.

Dined here on Friday 9th - food and service were amazing. One of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had and certainly in KL. The staff were so lovely. 10/10 would recommend!

It's a lovely location, has a very nostalgic / old feel to the ambience. Food taste is good but portion and price not worth it. Pricing wise it's a fine dining restaurant but the place but too crowded and noisy. Cocktails as unique and good in taste. Good quality ingredients are used for both food & cocktails.
