It was difficult to communicate with them due to the language barrier. My one star rating is because, after I paid, I left a tip on my debit card. I have a discussion back and forth with the woman who works there. At first, I am not able to understand what she's saying. Then, I realize she is asking me to leave a larger tip for her because the owner doesn't pay his workers and she only is allowed to collect her tips. I left a few more dollars for her but was very skeptical of this situation. A few days go by and I saw on my bank statement that they, by themselves, actually took MORE money off my debit card. (I left a 10 dollar tip, they took 13) I looked on my receipt and it definitely includes taxes already. My advice, if you go here, pay in cash. It was 30 minutes ago and despite telling the guy "softer", he barely let up and I have a painful knot on my left rear shoulder. I also have scratches on my neck from his finger nails. Unbelievable. Never again. Jason Waller01:46 07/12/22Wish I could say I had a good experience. Easily one of the most painful massages I have had and not in a good way. I have neck trouble from an injury 20+ years ago. About 2X a year I will sleep wrong and end up with a terrible stiff neck. I use to pay the chiropractor, but discovered a massage can do the same thing for less. I was traveling and messed up my neck, so I stopped in for a shoulder and back massage. The woman spent 2 -3 minutes on my shoulders, then went to my lower back. She then spent half the massage on my glutes, thighs, and calves which weren't even part of the massage I ordered. A good portion of the massage consisted of her taking the point of her elbow and grinding it against my spine, rib cage or any other bone she could find. Deep tissue massages hurt, that is usually part of it, but this was not that. This was bone on bone, her laying with all her body weight on me. Even when I was tightening my muscles and pulling away she continued, until I finally waved at her and asked her to stop. I asked her to work on my shoulder, which she did for a couple minutes, then went right back to my lower back. Definitely a language barrier. I was glad when it was over and left, having spent $50 for a sore back and only a slight improvement in my shoulders/neck. Complete waste of money for me.Update: It's been 2 days and my lower back is still hurting right at the spot she was pushing her elbow into my spine. Rachel14:54 03/29/22This place was amazing! I always walk past it in the mall, but I had really bad shoulder/neck pain that wouldn’t go away. It hurt so bad that I couldn’t move my head without causing more pain, so I decided to stop in to see if a massage might help. I got a half hour massage, and by the time I left, I felt better! The massage was a little painful because he really dug into my muscles, but whatever he did fixed my problem, so it was worth it. This will be my first stop the next time I have muscle pain! I allowed her to redeem herself and this horrible work 4 different times, she kept saying she didn’t understand by the 4th time I was over it at that point. I guess the lady forgot that she told me that and I watched her walk into the bathroom. I said something and she still didn’t let my child go and I spent $60 all together. Bad buisness. They are so uncomfortable she used so much glue on them that they looked all clumped and as if it was on piece od eyelash. And by the way the eyelash glue part feels she used hair glue !!
