It delivers in this regard and the owners, Gabriel and Kaila de la Cruz have done well. Food, especially desserts and coffee (they say) are fantastic. We were here for lunch and tried their rendition of Beef Mechado (₱710 for sharing) and Bagnet Bicol Express (₱645 for sharing) and you could taste the quality and freshness of the ingredients and that it was prepared by someone who had a culinary arts background. What I cannot forget though was the broken down toilets that did not have running water. For a restaurant that brings in hordes of guests because of the hype created, this should be job number 1 to be remedied. We ordered several rice meals like lechon kawali, laing, salisbury steak, salmon salad, pizza and calamares.
