Real Customer Reviews at Amand Coffee Bar:

Had match cream non coffee. It was ok. Their cream is tasty unlike others. My sister had Belgium chocolate, very good, Einspanner, also very good, and Iced Americano both beans in medium roast. Please beware of the billing. They have hidden charges as well and the staff do not even inform you about it. Price is on the same level with Starbucks so pricey yes. Ordered pizza margarita and truffle fries. Pizza margarita is good. Truffle fries need improvement. Doesn't taste like truffles to me. But 3 sauces were given: ketchup, mustard, and tartar. Love that. Accepts card and gcash payments.

Christian Ibanez16:44 07/23/23
Our experience at this place was a mix of positives and negatives. The location is good, and the parking situation is acceptable. The ambiance is clean and aesthetically pleasing, making it a great spot for Instagram-worthy photos. However, the staff's performance was so-so. When we inquired about their best pasta dish, the response was underwhelming, simply stating that it's pasta with sauce. Additionally, they forgot our second order, which was disappointing.Considering the taste, the price is not justified. While it's worth a try for the experience, we won't be returning for a third visit.

One of the hidden coffee shop gems in Pampanga. I love the einspanner coffee, I think I have a new favorite. We got lost looking for this place thanks to Google maps, the road that leads to this place is in Apo road but gmaps don't recognize the entrance as a road.

Despite being located inside a gated village, it was pretty easy to find. There was ample parking as well.Place was okay. Very spacious with al fresco dining and a smoking lounge (comfy btw!) beside the pool. The interiors didn't give me a wow factor, but still okay.Staff was great! Very patient and attentive. They would also ask you how you want your beans - i asked for their reco on which type of roast for the drink i chose. It was pretty good!Coffee 9 - a lot of unique coffee drinks to choose from (like in-house blend, etc.)Truffle pasta 10 - al dente!! Tasted like a handrolled pasta, we enjoyed it very mu hTiramisu - 9 - had an ice cream layer at the bottom if im not mistaken, not so sweet, really goodSalted caramel -9 wasnt able to finish but it was very moist and the caramel drizzle was 👌They also served us w compli warm breads w pesto dip. Loved the breads esp the round one, pesto spread was just okay.Overall exp 8!Would reco for the truffle pasta and coffee.🤌👌

Great set of foods, pretty place to chill.Kudos to the staff for making my hubby's birthday extra special by writing a greeting to his cake.

Pia Javellana08:47 10/31/22
As picturesque and aesthetically pleasing as this place may be, it's not something I would highly recommend because of 2 reasons: one, parking is non-existent. You either have to park at the nearby hotel or across the street which can be challenging. Two, they sprinkle their cappuccino with cocoa without asking which deeply saddened me and put a damper on my visit. One more thing troubles me, if the place is so pleasing to the eye, why are all the patrons staying at the counters by the window instead of inside the restaurant? The view is a public market and they'd rather watch that then be within the confines of the place. P.S. their Blueberry Cheesecake reminds me of my childhood.

Todd Smart13:02 10/28/22
An excellent coffee shop nearby all the main areas in central walking street. Very fast Wi-Fi and a quiet place to catch up on work or meeting with friends. Highly recommended as the service was great and quick!

Kimberly J11:14 02/04/22
It’s one of the newest cafés in the city! It’s a replica to the infamous 2D café in South Korea - the only difference is that the furnitures are not 2D but complemented the overall aesthetics perfectly so it’s all good! The place itself is really beautiful, cozy and relaxing! From experience, when a café is aesthetically beautiful, the menu is not. Fortunately for this café, place is beautiful and so are the offered menu! Aside from aesthetics, the reason I really wanted to come here is their Spanish Latte. Ever since I tried Spanish Latte in one of the only few new cafés that offers this coffee flavor, it’s been my new favorite and I wasn’t disappointed! Their Iced Spanish Latte is as good as I remember it! My friend ordered her usual coffee flavor which is Mocha and she said that it’s so good too! We also ordered Cesar Salad which doesn’t look appetizing because it’s only lettuce and croutons but the dressing complemented it, it tasted surprisingly good! We also ordered Fries and Bacon with cheese sauce and I love that the fries are thin they’re like the fries in Army Navy! For days now, I’ve been craving for some Aglio Olio so I ordered Shrimp Aglio Olio but when I saw Spicy Salted Shrimp pasta on the menu, I thought twice coz I want spicy pasta but I still ended up with Shrimp Aglio Olio because it’s Aglio Olio! I was surprised how spicy it was! So I’m very happy! My friend ordered Clubhouse Sandwich and the serving is actually good for two if you ask me. She said it’s good too and it did really look good! The whole menu is on the pricey side but it’s all worth it!

This specialty coffee shop did not disappoint. Good latte & horchata. Reasonably priced menu. Not a single coffee shop inside Clark comes close to this. So if you’re in that area, Kalidad is worth the short drive.

ユタニK21:50 06/01/23
Recently came home for a short trip and wanted to try local coffee shops. Kalidad was the best one. Loved the aesthetics, but more importantly, the iced latte I had was good 👌🏼

Jonathan Lansangan22:41 03/24/23
Excellent pour over coffee. Got the Bolivia La Llama origin. Good service. Nice interior design.

Chito Mauleon11:05 01/15/23
One good coffee place I went to in Angeles is Kalidad Coffee. The name is apt. They really serve quality coffee. It is a Japanese-inspired, minimalist coffee shop reminiscent of the likes of %arabica.Spearheaded by 20 something Niccolo Yabut. It is intentional and purposeful. Function and usability are foremost considerations. When coupled with products that are world class, they've got a winner. We got their Signature Coffee (P160, espresso with sweetened milk), a Cap (P160), a Dirty Horchata (P170, beverage popular in Mexico that has toasted rice, almonds, milk, cinnamon and vanilla made special with a shot of espresso) and a Kouign Aman.Glad I found this place, Unit 101, Omnistellar Bldg, Friendship Highway, Angeles City, Pampanga. Why don't you check them out?

Dina Marie03:27 10/31/22
It was a pleasant experience with our barista. We were able to hang out and talk with friends. Asthtically light, warm, cozy and Japanese minimalist style. Love the kalida signature iced coffee. Closed to macchiato of sb. Enjoyed the croissant it was warm and flaky sweet pastry goodness. Good to chill and enjoy a cup of coffee.

The environment is very good, very design sense.

Ichi San07:12 02/27/23
The place looks nice. The service is horrible. It took our meals almost an hour to be ready. Everything we ate was already cold. When we went to pick up our trays from their counter, i saw their kitchen staff - i saw 4 men in the kitchen working. And it still took them 57 minutes to prepare our food. And there were only 2 tables occupied with customers during the entire time.Is the food good? Good question. Here's a better one: have you eaten something stale? So there. In fairness, the place is nice. But the service sucks one grand time. We will not go back anymore. I will not recommend it to families and friends. I will recommend it to people i hate so it will ruin their time.

Lalalaine08:45 01/17/23
Loved the vibe here. Accommodating staff. Very spacious location. Elegant store layout. Tahimik pa and wala masyado tao. Drinks are a bit pricey cold brew and caramel latte 500 something na inabot, so you actually paid for the ambiance. Will try food items next time.

Erika Shayne16:56 01/01/23
The cafe has a good ambiance but the food and drinks are definitely overpriced in my opinion. You could have a way better and tasty meal in other cafes with these prices.

Gian Vincent Dizon02:20 12/21/22
This is a late review, been in the cafe a few months ago. The place is very aesthetically pleasing, very instagramable. Food and drinks are okay.

Real Customer Reviews at Black Scoop Cafe - Pampanga:

Salve Regina Joaquin09:32 06/24/23
i only had an americano when i visited this place and i only ordered one because i was actually shopping at deli bros which is inside the cafe. though this was the case, its very easy to observe that the interior of the cafe is very nice with really good lighting. they have ample parking space in front and at the back. they are right beside Kaja korean grill so one can always have coffee here after a hearty meal. The location is quiet, not in the middle of the hustle and bustle Angeles or san fernando.

Winter Leong06:19 11/26/22
Food is good at a reasonable price. Been here twice and really liked the foods that we ordered, especially the mac n cheese. Cookies are a little bit on the sweeter side but the filling they put on the cookie more than makes up for it. Definitely recommended for people looking for a decent cafe with a nice atmosphere and food.

Christopher Drapeza05:07 10/09/22
Great place to hang out.We decided to try to place based from recommendation of a friend.Their drinks are ok, a bit sweet for my preference so adjust the sugar level to your liking. The place has a great ambiance and is very Instagramable. They have also long tables for large groups. I also tested their wifi speed and dang it's so fast. You can bring your laptop and do your work from home here.Very recommendable and will be here again in the future for sure!

John Reynard Adalid03:30 09/18/22
The ambience inside of the Cafe is very good. A good place to work outside of the office or any homework or paperworks. They have outlets to charge your device on selected tables.Much recommended beside their signature sundae/ice cream(which is always so good) is their coffee.

Blaise Alessandro01:40 11/24/21
Their frappes & yogurts are good stuff. Great selection of food too.Pretty solid area to hang out & although it got pretty busy on a Tuesday afternoon, there were enough tables all customers (not sure if it'll be a problem on weekends). Parking space was also more than sufficient.

One of the best Cafe's I've been through. Food was great and coffee was superb. There are a lot of delicious pastry choices that you love to try but cannot due to limited tummy space😅. The atmosphere and ambiance is fantastic. Very aesthetic. They nailed the indoor garden theme along with spacious interior and comfortable dining space. Would definitely come back again.

Sue LeOx12:50 07/08/23
Parking - 10/10 very spaciousBuilding - 10/10 also spacious, nice and relaxing ambience. As what they say it's esthetic ✨Food - 5/10 this is were i am not satisfied, all of the food that we ordered were bland. And not to mention it is pricey 👌. I can say , you can buy much better food nearby with that price .Service - 3/10 this is because of my experienced. I was asking to pack the food that we didn't finished. And there is this guy, i think it's one of their staff that is on off duty, he also packs their left over food, one of the i think manager, help him pack the food, They are so careless that they have hit our food, but didn't even bother to apologize.

Crystallene Grace Ragot02:49 06/19/23
Probably the biggest coffee shop in terms of space. 2 floors, with a garden at the center of the 1st floor that welcomes you upon entry. It's perfect for taking photos. They have bigger tables for dining and smaller spaces if you're just here for coffee and a chitchat. A lot of people visit this shop, especially during dinner time on weekends hence, the queue can be long during this window. The pastry selection is superb, pleasing to the eyes and mouth, and the price is just right for the size. They also serve pasta, cakes, and non-caffeinated drinks. Haven't tried their pizza but I heard that it's one of their best sellers. The waiters/waitresses are also approachable and attentive.

Aaron Wolf11:07 06/07/23
La La Garden Cafe is a classic example of " built and they shall come" it way off the city and it was busy for a cafe. It's basically a giant warehouse style Cafe and Eatery. Having both hot and cold foods. They have a Bakery section and Kitchen. Ample of seating space and also have auditorium style seating. The portion size is generous, thought I feel the fresh cream stuffings are a bit too much. They serve fresh breads, pastries cakes and a list of hot food items along with a variety of hot and cold beverages.Ample car park so no need to worry. They also do Brunches in the afternoon.A must place to visit and great venue for hosting events and special occasions.Definitely a A+ in my books and highly recommended.

Irish Spillers19:33 04/23/23
We visited this charming garden cafe to celebrate my mom's birthday, The food was truly satisfying, and the boneless chicken dish in particular was a standout with its perfectly balanced flavors. The portion sizes were generous, and we were pleased with the wide selection of desserts and pastries available. The cafe itself is spacious, making it ideal for both large groups and cozy couples. We loved the ambiance, with ample seating options and lovely views for sightseeing and relaxation. The garden setting added a touch of tranquility to the dining experience, making it a perfect place to unwind and enjoy good company. One of the highlights of the visit was the thoughtful birthday celebration options. We were able to request a candle for the cake, and the dedication icing on the plate added a special touch to the occasion. It was evident that the staff went the extra mile to make the celebration memorable. While the service was a bit slow due to the high number of people and the size of the cafe, it was understandable and did not detract from the overall experience. Additionally, the ample free parking space just outside the cafe was convenient and appreciated. In conclusion, I highly recommend this garden cafe for a relaxing and enjoyable dining experience. The flavors of the food, the lovely ambiance, and the extra touches for special occasions all contributed to a memorable visit. I will definitely be returning to this gem of a cafe for future celebrations or simply to enjoy a leisurely meal in a serene garden setting.

They have a buffet promo every once in a while. But the main attraction are the cats. If you're a cat love and want a safe space to introduce your friends or family to cats this is the place to go.

MosheM09:54 07/21/23
great place for cat lovers; ordered the Sizzling Pork Sisig and Chicken/Mango Salad, which were both tasted great. there is even a play area where one can play chess on a table and/or play on an arcade machine. /20230721MM

Monaliza Mores12:14 07/01/23
The cats are very cute and calm. The place has a good ambiance, food is quite delicious and reasonable for the price. But I am sad about the location. It's quite far and unnoticed unless you have a private vehicle. The staffs are considerate and very welcomed. I'll be back again if I have my time.

Eyahbear12:04 01/04/23
Among the places that i've been, this is the most close to my heart. I loved the experience of drinking your macchiato and hanging out with different cats. The interior design is amazing and everything is connected to cats. The painting, the cup, even the tissue (i kept the tissue because it's way too expensive-looking) right after we enter the place, they assisted us to our table and gave everyone plates and they serve fast. The parking lot is huge, the food is delicious, the service is very good, the crews are nice, the cats are kind, people are nice, the books are available in the shelves. What more can i say but a wonderful place.

柴愛様11:14 12/22/22
Place is very clean, accommodating staff and the food was really good! Surprisingly…. Most cat cafes we’ve tried were not really good so this is really a gem! Will definitely return and share this place with my friends & fam. 😊

Only 4 star because for some reason it's not tablet service . It's there way I guess. Place was very very busy on a Sunday evening.. but we still got a tablet. Place is very fancy and modern looking but the prices are ok.. menu price as of July 2023 included in photos. Whole place is very clean and tidy. Tried the snack food.. all very tasty... Fish and chips . Very good.

Crystallene Grace Ragot15:18 06/18/23
A nice place to eat with friends and family. The place is spacious, inside and out. They have a variety of menu, they serve sandwiches, pasta, fries, cakes, pastries, coffee and non-coffee drinks. You can opt to dine inside, and outside, they have few tables outside if you want fresh air while enoying your coffee.Their bathroom si also nice, with unconventional decorations - tissue holders.

M FerMas10:57 06/07/23
A very nice cafe type restaurant to have light dinner, snacks, or enjoy some drinks. Great with families, a date, gathering friends, or even for a business meeting. Venue is light and refreshing, very casual, and fun. However their food needs some improvement. The -ades were too watery and bland. The food servings were too small for its price and ingredients seemed lacking in the salads. Service was quick and friendly. Counter type order system is a good idea 💡

Guansing Audrey18:09 05/12/23
Been here a few too many times this month and Cafe Dia feels like home to me. Love the vibe, Foods are great, Friendly Staffs, Cozy and Clean Environment. Rating 10/10 from cakes to drinks!

Audric Sy02:58 04/30/23
The food was okay but a bit expensive. The serving size is not for sharing, the pasta is good for just one person. The presentation didn't look too good in my opinion, but what mattered was that it did taste okay though not great. The matcha ice was great and it looked good. So overall I give this place 4 stars with a recommendation to stick with drinks here if you're not hungry.

A friend brought me here around 4am after BPO working hours.Pretty great find, as they're open 24 hours.Menu seemed pretty pricey but the Lotus Biscoff cheesecake I had was delightful. So you get what you pay for.Indoor area was nice, but the outdoor seating appears to be the star. Pretty spacious & I can imagine lots of professionals coming here for their work from anywhere jobs or meetings.

I think this is one of the best coffee place in SF. Their attention to detail to their shop is evident, warm and cozy.Quality vs price is great.

Gian Vincent Dizon07:01 02/16/23
Food and drinks are good. This place is open for 24 hours a day so if you are looking for a place to chill late night or you want to get your coffee dose early in the morning then you can go here. The place at night is beautiful and great for hanging out. They have seats indoors but most seats are located outside but are still comfy and nice.

roxy jose12:27 12/09/22
1. Most Important Fact - their restroom is CLEAN!2. The vibe of the place is great, more of a cozy, small gathering place but its a well known spot so be ready for crowds. The atmosphere and everything has 'clean-aesthetics' which I like.3. Their coffee is good.4. Its open 24/7

Viv Lim04:47 10/01/22
This was previously recommended by a friend. There were 5 of us who came here.We ordered various drinks - hot choco, white choco mocha, tea & iced flavored coffee. The air-conditioned room was small, about 4-5 clusters of tables. But they have more tables outdoors. Temperature was quite warm inside. Restrooms were separated from the main building but they were clean.Limited cheesecake variety but they were delicious and reasonably priced. My problem was with the size of their hot drinks; they were really small priced at 150+. They should offer bigger/different sizes. As to location, if you don't get specific instructions on how to go there, you might miss the place. They should have bigger signs in front, near the street. Parking is very limited.Overall the place has potential; hope they improve.
