I have traveled extensively and consistently and it’s rare to find a place that just *feels* so right, but this is the place, and Zane is one of the best bartenders I’ve come across in my past 10 years of traveling seeking a genuine “dive”. I’m pro-vaccine but without a card they won’t serve you and will kick you out. Tonight was the last straw when we walked in and the bartender told us dogs weren’t allowed after 9 due to past issues. If there were issues with a dog, that dog should be banned. And dogs can have issues at 5, 6, 7, or 8 so this is a very weird rule. Do they make people with dogs leave at 9 if they came at 7? No omelette station, the brisket was over cooked and inedible. The food was not what we have come to expect here. Not sure if they are cutting corners or there’s a new chef but it was not great. The service was horrible as well. Constantly having to remind our waitress about drinks to get them served. All around not a great experience this year.
