Had the most delicious meal here upon arrival in Vienna. Loved it so much we also made it our last stop before leaving, which happened to be Mother’s Day Breakfast. The staff is friendly and the service is great.

Lavinia Cristina Iosif-Lazăr06:51 04/02/23
Such a pleasure to discover this wonderful place just in time before catching a train back home. We only had 30-40 minutes to order and eat and the wonderful staff was so accommodating, we managed to enjoy a delicious schnitzel and Keiserschmarrn with time to spare. The lovely lady who served us even brought a water bowl for our dog. The atmosphere is so nice and welcoming, the food is really great, prepared and served by the friendliest people. This will be our first stop when we get back to Vienna.

Perfect little place for breakfast. There is a dessert that the menu says “takes 30 minutes to make” well, totally worth it! Go for it! And it’s best if you choose Nutella AND the white chocolate as well!

Did not stay at the hotel, but, did dine in the restaurant. A fantastic mid-centrury designed cafe that makes you feel like you're transported back to an earlier time. Great food and service. Lunch special was excellent...pulled-pork witth coleslaw and a fried egg with frites...delicious!

Alexandra Konstantopoulou22:38 03/05/23
We picked this place without prior planning and we did bot regret it!! It is rather expensive as is to be expected but the soups we tried were out of this world, maybe top 5 of all time for me.. I tried the artichoke soup and absolutely loved it and I don't even like artichokes!! The onion soup was great as well!! The sausage we tried was good but nothing extremely unique, but it came with a side of bread, mustard and grated horseradish.. all in all a great food experience and definitely on my map!

Geraldine Azar18:15 02/23/23
I already had breakfast and dinner at this place and the word to describe it is wonderful. The quality and the flavors of everything is outstanding. In summer seating outside gives you a nice view without being loud and overwhelming. In winter the ambiance is very warm and private. The service always perfect.Would always recommend it

Matheus Queiroz13:37 10/30/22
Very good brunch experience here. The inside looks very fancy, so some people might expect very elevated prices, but that’s not really the case. Sure, portions aren’t the biggest, but I think they’re OK-sized for more enjoyment of the meal without feeling bloated. My eggs Benedict were very good, and the coffee was excellent! The best I’ve tried in Vienna (for my taste, of course). Just strong enough, not excessively bitter or burned. We also received very good service from very attentive people. A lovely experience, and we’d definitely return.

We enjoyed a delicious brunch! Many different snack options, including organic products. They offer gluten-free bread they made themselves. The multi-grain GF one is a superb experience!

This was my favourite place to eat at while in Vienna. I believe we visited 3-4 times in the time span of 5 days. The coffee is exceptionally good. The eggs Benedict were phenomenal and their bagel sandwich (not pictured) was absolutely delicious. This is a wonderful place to visit for breakfast, brunch and lunch. Highly recommend!

Their sour dough bread is great and solid. Today the weather is nice and I have chance to enjoy their brunch. I ordered the vegan avocado with bread and green bean paste. It was really nice and the taste is seasoned and balanced. Simple but enjoyable meal for Friday.

We went here for lunch on the day we arrived in Vienna. And it was bull's-eye!We went for the club sandwich and the pulled pork sandwich. Both were amazing. The service was also friendly and the terrace had a nice atmosphere.

Huevos rancheros was the best breakfast i’ve ever had. All the food was amazing, and the juice was so fresh. I also recommend the pink oats or the cauliflower if you want to try something different. Must go place if you’re in vienna.

Ksusha Malkina09:08 07/04/23
Best breakfast of my life. The avocado base is amazing, perfectly lemony and so generous on the avocado. The porridge was amazing too. Amazing visually and for the taste buds.

Marie17:16 05/27/23
Very trendy. Staff somewhat attentive but they know that they are the one’s being wanted! Food was good but for the small portion a bit too overpriced for my taste…. Very nice location though and a lot of young people.

Maria Anna Stefanidi13:33 02/26/23
Wonderful place, very fast service and food tastes amazing. We ordered an Erich Breakfast (or something named like that) + Hangover Grilled Sandwich (we end up to share everything).Totally recommend it.Friendly advice, book before you go (of you are a tourist like us) because the place is small and full.

The Imperial Cafe, is a sophisticated, resplendent dining experience that stands as a testament to timeless elegance. The cafe is steeped in history, a sentiment echoed by its refined decor, adorned with paintings and photographs that reminisce of its illustrious past and prestigious patrons. The cafe brilliantly captures the essence of royal opulence. Its ambiance, reminiscent of a bygone era, is beautifully complemented by the strains of classical music that fill the room in the afternoon. This gentle melody, twined with the cafe's quiet splendor, creates a magical setting that transcends the ordinary.Beyond the wide variety of beverages, the delectable small snacks offered alongside enrich the dining experience. Whether for a business meeting or a romantic date, the atmosphere is perfect for intimate conversations and meaningful exchanges. However, there's one area where the Imperial Cafe could definitely improve, and that's the staff's approach to hospitality. While not unfriendly, they sometimes come across as less warm than you might expect in such an inviting setting. A little more friendliness and attentiveness could elevate the overall dining experience from great to truly memorable.

Authentic schnitzel served with very fresh salad. If you are not a bit eater they have small portion available which is great. Must try Tafelspitz - super tender. Crème of potato soup is excellent too.

Incredible Kaiserschmarn and Imperial torte. Service is polite, atmosphere is very chic. Would come back for the desserts!

Marie D13:48 02/24/23
Visited for breakfast. Delicious pancakes, so-so omelette. Loose leaf teas but terrible cappuccinos and mélanges! We tried a few different cappuccinos, but every time the coffee tasted burnt. 😭 yummy hot chocolate.

Sun Family08:58 01/17/23
Beautiful cafe inside a beautiful hotel. Made reservations for breakfast here. They do offer a brunch buffet on Sundays but at £45 per person, we cannot possibly eat that much food for the value. The pastries and the food are mediocre and the server we got that served us initially was a little arrogant. It changed when we got a smiling and pleasant waitress hence, she helped the cafe gain an extra star for her care and attention.I'd go for the historical and beauty of the building but it would be a one time visit. For the price, you'd find better breakfast outlets around Vienna for better quality foods.

Cafe Ansari in Vienna is a 5 star restaurant for sure. The staff was very nice and just attentive enough. The place looked amazing on the inside, and the outside seating filled up very fast. I do hate the smell of smoke while I eat, but that's Europe. The entree menu was simple, and all choices were good with a minimal serving size. Some items you have to order a side separately. The polenta was delicious. Drinks were good, and service was fast. We enjoyed our meal.

Nasa Leboncoin21:03 02/21/23
5-star experience! There are a few Georgian dishes - which are all heavenly good! The overall menu seems to be a fusion of different cuisines, but they are all super tasty. Great experience from cocktail, starter, main course to desert. Friendly and professional staff. The location is also pretty nice and modern. A must go in Vienna!Ps: don’t forget to make a reservation.

Oleg Fedotkin08:37 01/26/23
5+ out of 5!We ordered a beef tartar and a khachapuri (the "closed" or "Imeruli" version) as starters, and both dishes were incredibly delicious. For my main dish, I had Kwerebi - dumplings with cheese - it was fantastic! I also tried a piece of khinkali from my companion and it was very tasty with a rich broth. It was a pleasure to enjoy such delicious food and a glass of Saperavi wine. Instead of dessert, we had a Negroni cocktail, which was expertly made. I would like to give a big thank you to all the staff who made our evening such a great dining experience. 👍🏻

We have been there many times and every single visit was a highlight. It has a very nice atmosphere (decor, furniture, ...) and very friendly staff. The food is great! We mostly go there for breakfast/brunch and love the selection. Among our favorites are the English breakfast (also the vegan variant), the "fitness breakfast", the veggie omelette, and the pancakes. And of course the breakfast tea and some scones. They are typically quite crowded, so try to book a reservation upfront (especially on weekends, try to book some time ahead to be on the safe side).

James16:50 06/18/23
My mistake for going at the end of the day (16:30) on a Sunday.. as the quiche & scones weren’t fresh. Probably better at the start of the day when food doesn’t have to be microwaved before being served. Still, cute café.

Vangelis Angelakis12:06 05/28/23
A sweat shop near the U2 station that serves all kinds of delicacies. Whether it’s cakes or brunch you can’t go wrong with anything you order. Nicole is really sweet and makes you feel welcome right from the start. The place also loves dogs which is always a plus. If you’re near Prater it is worth a visit.

Alexandra Bican12:08 05/14/23
Great service, very child friendly, and they even have several toys and books in the back. Eggs & bacon were great. The french toast wasn't special, but one should probably stick to typical british food and the homemade cakes. We came at 9 am on Saturday and were lucky to get the last table. Definitely make a reservation before!I also loved the decoration and attention to detail.

Raazia Razi16:22 11/17/21
Cosy place if you’re looking for a tradition english tea house experience. Lots of options for breakfast and ofc vegan options as well. We had pancakes and omellete and earl grey tea. Everything was exceptional! Also had slice of their available cakes. The red velvet seemed a little too sweet for us but the strawberry shortbread cake was perfect if you’re looking to indulge. Can’t wait to go back and try more from their menu!

Abdelrahman Bani Hani16:41 08/05/23
Walking into Budapest Bistro, you're immediately welcomed by its inviting ambiance and commendable service that unquestionably contributes to the overall dining experience. This cafe and restaurant situated in the heart of Vienna has a lot going for it, with an atmosphere that suggests a promise of delightful flavors influenced by its namesake city, Budapest. The waitstaff are pleasant and professional, providing an acceptable level of service. They are prompt in taking orders, delivering meals and responding to customer inquiries, adding a dash of convenience to your dining experience. The interior of the Budapest Bistro is very welcoming. The layout and design blend contemporary elements with traditional Hungarian touches, fostering a relaxed yet classy environment. It's a great place to catch up with friends or enjoy a quiet meal on your own. When it comes to the menu, Budapest Bistro offers a decent selection of dishes, promising a taste of Hungary. However, the food was satisfactory, but didn't quite hit the mark for me. The dishes lacked the exceptional quality and memorable flavors one would expect from a restaurant named after a city known for its rich gastronomy. The portions were also on the smaller side, not quite justifying the prices charged. We ordered a breakfast for three, and our bill totaled over €60, which felt rather steep considering the size of the portions and the mediocre taste. For a quick bite, it's an acceptable choice, but for a complete meal, you might be left desiring more.To summarize, the Budapest Bistro makes a decent impression with its pleasant atmosphere and good service. However, when it comes to the food, it is just ordinary - neither bad nor particularly memorable. It's a decent place for a quick bite, but be prepared to pay a little more than you might expect for the experience.

A very nice little breakfast bistro that was a few minutes away from our hotel. I ordered the eggs and my partner had vegan breakfast options. Bonus that the staff speak Hungarian, which was almost a given with regards to the name of the place 🙂

A great spot for breakfast if you are in the neighborhood. You can try one of the many egg plates including omelettes, scrambled eggs or boiled. You can also go for breakfast platters. The coffee is outstanding. The service is fine although you tend to get a cold shoulder from the waitresses. Don't expect huge plates. This is a typical European style breakfast with a twist.
