The cashier's attitude was quite evident - she seemed eager to go home and lacked any sign of warmth or hospitality during the transaction. Her demeanor made the whole ordering process feel uncomfortable and unwelcoming. A simple smile could have made a significant difference in the overall experience. While the food at Theo's might be great, the lack of customer service leaves much to be desired. I hope the management addresses this issue to improve the overall dining experience for future customers.

Theo's in Maginhawa has been my go-to place whenever I need to escape for a good meal and quiet time. The food is always great, and great for a few bucks. The staff is always accommodating, and the menu continues to evolve. I'm glad that aside from pasta and drinks, they added breakfast meals which are worth the price.Don't forget to check this place whenever you are in Maginhawa!

Pau Lynne07:40 06/23/23
I ordered Golden Battered Fish Fillet. The food is okay. Maybe I was really hungry. The fish is just okay. I added another star for the interior.

Tom Songer06:17 04/16/23
Difference between average service and good service means meeting expectations, but exceptional customer service means exceeding them. Reason for my review is I’m not greeted with a smile or promptly waited each every time - everything else is gravy! I left all three times unhappy.

Hamil Shi09:46 05/19/22
Chanced upon a parking slot on this spot. It's a small place with only two tables downstairs and so i have go to the mezzanine where the aircon is located, as it was really hot during that afternoon.Ordered the baked salmon and for an Americano. Too bad, their coffee maker is out of order, so i have to settle for "on ice".That dampened the excitement. And at 245, a small plate waa served with a little cut of samon. The taste, was not bad but not so good as well. The thing is, there is this itchy feeling on the tongue as you eat it, which shows that the meat is not fresh. The coffee, as it was iced, is just ok. Tastes good but i prefer it hot.So, this experience is not really very satisfying or complete. Maybe, another shot would do it...next time.

Tapa is bland, pancit is bland, siomai and tocilog is great. Prices are slightly high compared to other tapsilogs i've tried. i don't think the tapa is worth the price

Hamil Shi10:51 01/09/22
This place is really small... Only 1 car can be parked in front. If you are in a budget, then this is for you. Typical fast food style. I ordered adobosilog and their mango tapioca. And it's just ok.Simple but ok. Service is quick. And they open at 7 to 1pm.Closed at 1 to 3 pm. Then open at 3 to 10 pm. Btw,there are some restos that would be a little bit cheaper that would also cater these types of food.

C. A. Castro11:56 06/07/19
For an eatery that boasts it in its name, the sinangag is not even decent. The texture is inconsistent and there's no flavor whatsoever. The rest of the meal was bland too, with both the Longganisa and the fried egg barely tasted of anything.During my meal I was regretting my decision to eat in this place, as I could've just gone to Friuli, which was just a bit of a walk across the street.

Gregor Alfonsin Pondoyo14:31 06/02/19
I'm giving it 5 stars because for a "tabi-tabi" style food chain and a very unassuming facade amid its neighboring sosyal restaurants and diners it actually serves good food and affordable too! I love their mango shake ❤

Estien Quijano09:27 04/17/19
Cheap eats but really really good. Very relaxed and simple food joint in the heart of UP Village... yes Maginhawa St. And probably one of those legit food joints in the area that is not over rated, with good delicious food to satisfy your appetite but very very affordable unlike as most of the restos and cafes in the areas that sprouted like mushrooms that are too pretentious gourmet wannabes and othet expensive food stalls in dime a dozen food parks...Sinangag Station has a good range of Silog Meals and home cooked food. Very homy and relaxed ambiance as if your eating in a simple kitchen. Nothing fancy, but hey your just hungry and want to fill your stomach with good tasty food that's right on the budget. For less than P50.00 tjey can even serve you a freshly made all natural fruit shake...👍👍👍

what you see .... is not what you get! Staff did not bother to inform us that they were out of certain items in the order and just replaced them or totally omitted the items in the dish.Ordered the Seared Tuna Salad and instead of getting Romaine lettuce as pictured in the menu, we were served Iceberg lettuce. There were no hard boiled eggs as pictured. Instead of cherry tomatoes, sliced regular tomatoes were given. My sister ordered the Roasted Vegetables Panini sandwich from the menu which explicitly stated that it had portobello mushroom. Well... there was none and my sister had to ask where the mushroom was. Waiter explained that they had none so they added more of the other vegetables - without bothering to let us know when he was taking our order.Other orders were just ok - tried the clubhouse sandwich, the steak, lengua.... Nothing spectacular. Would probably consider to revisit if not for what we experienced with the other orders.

Marjorie Trinidad20:22 03/27/23
The place is very cozy, quiet ambiance and the atmosphere is also inviting. Their prices are also okay and will not punch a proverbial hole in your pocket or wallet. The only downside here is the employees feel like they're not happy to see you.

The restaurant was situated along the famous Maginhawa St. You can easily find it, just google it and ta da!!! I like the place because it was simple and also a bit formal. I like that the place was quiet, perfect for those who don't want noisy places or restaurants. In terms of the prices of the food, it ranges from approximately 250-1,000 above per dish. Most of my colleagues ordered pasta that is more or less 300 pesos per dish. I ordered their pan seared chicken and it comes with rice and slices of carrots and pipino (I think so). At first, the taste of the chicken was good and it was also well-cooked. But there is only a portion of the chicken that was too salty but I understand that it happens sometimes. They also have a function room but I think just for a small group of people like max of 20 I think. They also have parking inside their gate. So for us a group of 5, our will was nearly 2,000 included already the service charge. Yes, they have a service charge so we don't give tip anymore..hehehe!That' s all I can say for now! By the way, there is a scene from GMAs series "Abot Kamay ang Pangarap" was taken there were Tisay (Carmina V.) and Richard Yap (Doc RJ) supposed to meet for a snack. That's it!

Hamil Shi13:27 09/17/22
Although we have dined here before, we tried another visit to see how they are doing.Still the nice, cozy and fine ambience, they used to have. Food, maybe a little on the high side, but the servings are for sharing. And tastes more than the average.Service is fine. And the servers are ready, when you need them. This is another of those dating places, that must be on your list.

Zee M.12:51 05/29/22
My husband and I, with our usual night resto/cafe hopping saw this place. We decided to have a coffee. I love their matcha expresso and my hubby order blue lemonade. We just had our dinner from a different restaurant hence we did order any main course. But we still ordered a fish and chicken starter. They have a great and extensive menu and we're looking forward to try them out. The ambiance is great. We weren't able to eat alfresco though.

Even if the price of the food has since exploded, the food itself brought back memories of sitting on the somewhat cramped second floor of their shop in the original UP Shopping Center. I am not kidding. Tapsilog na binuhusan ng suka wooooo :9

Nat Piquero03:40 05/04/23
The price is very reasonable. They offer a small bowl of soup upon request. The air conditioning is always on high, making it comfortable to have lunch here, particularly on hot days.

RRVic15:42 03/15/23
A visit to the University of the Philippines will never be complete without eating at Mang Larry’s Isawan and Rodic’s. Unfortunately, Rodic’s inside UP was never again built up so the next best thing to do is visit their restaurant on Maginhawa Street. The restaurant is in between 7-11 and RCBC ATM. The restaurant sits about 20 but still comfy. We came in for Sunday dinner and the place was not that busy. Food is cheap but the amount of serving was just all right. Best sellers are the breakfast all day and I would say, all in Lola Pasita’s all time favorites — lechon paksiw, kare-kare, menudo, bopis. Deserves a second, third, fourth visit 🙂

howmany13:57 08/21/22
The taste of nostalgia in a spoonful of tapsilog! The price is kinda steep compared to a student budget, but it still tastes delicious and filling.

Vikk10:26 10/14/18
Offers the specialty "silog" dishes that made Rodic's famous. As with the original branch in UP, they also offer a variety of non-silog dishes such as dinuguan, menudo, kare-kare, paksiw, etc. Well-cooked and delicious food. The place is clean and well maintained. Staff are helpful. Downside: inflexible "set" of orders. Each dish is automatically priced inclusive of rice. So if you like to have 2 dishes (say one with meat and one vegetable), you get two rice as well. I asked if i can just order an additional vegetable dish without additional rice and was told i woulf still have to pay the regular price for veggie.

We tried the Bacon and Spam sandwiches. Eggs were fluffy and tasty. Buns were seasoned and toasted well. Haven’t tried any other egg sandwiches here in the ph (only in Korea) and these are definitely worth it for their price! Good as meal already.

ChrisJhae14:08 04/15/23
it's really maaaaaaaaappp...i ordered a tuna sandwich, tteokbokki, and iced chocolate with sea salt cream.....sooooo goooooddd.....tuna spread delicious...and also the egg is delicious with butter...and with cheese and corn It's also inside...the tteokbokki alilbit sweet and spicy is also a winner...and the chocolate drink is also a winner...it's just too sweet for me I forgot to reduce the sweetness...but all-in-all it's a winner! ...try it...

Egg drop with bacon and cheese at 159. Could have been best with brewed coffee but they normally open at 11 am already.

Engelbert Tabones05:55 07/16/22
I got the Hungarian Sausage Egg Drop (bestseller, P169). The eggs were so fluffy and perfectly cooked; the signature sauce really made them special. It's good for lunch already.Clean, good service, curbside parking.

Kara de Guzman11:46 06/14/22
Bought an egg salad sandwich (P129) price is OK for the value, sandwich is bigger than it seems in the pic, and much heavier. Brioche slice is super thick. Sadly the bread was cold and dry (old and not toasted well), egg salad was not anything special. Pero nabusog naman ako. Only 3 stars bec it could've been so much better.Service is OK, interiors are cute. Zero ventilation, so don't dine in when a lot of people are inside.

I've been going to this place since my college days, and their quality hasn't really gone down. Staff and Baristas remain the most helpful people, and they don't really mind you just doing your thing upstairs.

Carlo Luanzon12:03 04/05/23
Great place to have some local coffee and do some long studying or remote work. Their cold white brew is perfect to beat the summer heat. The only issue I can see is the parking. You will have to contend with all the other people going to the other restaurants, and the gym upstairs, for the very limited parking slots in front (usually ending up double parking majority of the time).

Joff Tiquez17:37 03/14/23
My favorite coffee place in Maginhawa! A great place to relax and have ☕

Unshakable Foodie04:03 03/08/23
This is a sum of my two recent visits. I was accomodated very well and I came back for their good Coffee…Caramel Latte. Bo’s gotta have the biggest Coffee cup I’ve ever enjoyed in my entire coffee life! Ang laki! I’m lovin’ their Hot Coffee! I tried the Cheese Roll and the Burnt Cheese! I liked this branch with lots of seats and gadget sockets upstairs.

Arianne Caila09:47 02/14/23
Matcha latte is not recommended. Too sweet. Their staff can also be a bit more friendly. If you're looking for a place to work, this might not be it. Free wifi only lasts for 2 hours. Plenty of sockets available but they only have coffee and counter tables, making it uncomfortable. Lots of people and music is kinda loud din.

Even if parking is just so tough and service is not so okay, they serve the best tapsilog among all their branches.

Teena Custodio22:19 05/10/23
I don't see why people are making such a big deal over this spot. There is nothing exceptional about any of the meals that I have had in this restaurant. Additionally, the quality of their best-selling tapsilog is not particularly high. I've tasted better tapsilog. This place is little more than a run-of-the-mill silog place.

Peter C.19:18 01/14/23
The food is overated. Fried rice is too hard , i think they used cheapest rice. Ordered their tapsilog andndinuguan with r8ce but it was not what we expected. Pricey but not delectable.

Daniel Vicario07:55 02/22/22
4.0⭐️-food Taste (Tapsilog and Sinigang are good 👍)3.0⭐️-food presentation4.0⭐️-Staff friendliness/hospitality4.5⭐️- fast service1.0⭐️- Environmental friendliness (single used plastic utensils even for dine in)3.0⭐️-Room atmosphere (a few flies and uncleared tables)5.0⭐️- location and accessibility (very visible - at the corner street)4.0⭐️-OVERALL value for money (240 for Sinigang with rice and Tapsiloh)

AL Hernandez02:54 05/07/21
Same favorite tapsi taste! But the servings are tiny. The egg is ok, the fried rice is fine though the serving is small. BUT, the hash beef is really TINY, & you can't order a la carte. It has to be 1 tapsilog, the Pandemic turns my fave Rodic's (back to my UP days) into BAD BUSINESS model. So my 10-year rating of 4 stars is down to 2.*suggestion: if you really can't offer a la carte, why not come up with 'special tapsi? Higher price but more tapa.

A good place for meetings or meet-up.Clean area. Attentive & accommodating staff.Food quantities are good enough on it's price. Few menu selections though because most are currently not available 😅Must try: Carrot cake

Michael Oliver Bitoon22:58 04/06/23
We had a quick snack and coffee here on a Sunday afternoon. I liked their chocolate cake and cafe latte. It's just basic. The crew's uniform does not fit the cafe's vibe. They're more for a chinese restaurant.

Eizen Barleta14:42 03/19/23
The place is tidy, decent, and spacious. Waiting time was longer than expected. We ordered Key Lime Pie, Robin Samplet, and Mozzarella Sticks. The fried ones are dry and only. Nothing special about the taste.Cash, GCash, and card payments are accepted.

Ash C04:48 10/05/22
ordered mushroom soup, salmon carbonara, triple decker sandwich, and a platter of mozzarella sticks, chicken sticks, and fries.the menu is good. i like the food we ordered, we might come back to try the other food because they sound good. it's a bit expensive for a restaurant in a school zone, as people would opt for cheaper options in nearby restaurants.

Adrielle Ortiz13:38 07/09/22
The Round Robin Cafe is located in Maginhawa Street, Quezon City. They offer different coffee flavors, teas, and chocolate drinks. They also have a varied selection of cakes and desserts. Our group of six was able to easily find seats and a table. We got hot and cold mocha latte, chocolate chip drink, white chocolate drink and a mango cake. The price is a bit expensive but the taste of the drinks and cake were good. It is not very impressive or different though. The place was cozy and relaxing. It even feels like a good wedding reception venue. It's just a good alternative from more famous cafes like Starbucks or Coffee Bean.

I couldn't help but pair the tender and flavorful Beef Salpicao, a starter, with white rice. The Chicken Pianggang--grilled chicken in black curry sauce made with spices and char burned coconut meat--was aromatic and equally delightful. The Crispy Pork Belly Adobo, on the other hand, was just okay for me.For dessert, the Dark Chocnut Chocolate Cake was delicious, though it was a bit dry.I look forward to trying more dishes on the menu, like the Jamon de Talisay and the Warm Kamias Tart with Vanilla Ice Cream!

Rachelle DJ01:42 06/29/23
This is our 2nd time here and tried more of the food items, still.. the food is great! 😊The resto is very spacious and has an al fresco arra for diners who want outdoors. Aesthetically pleasing restaurant. What we tried this time are potato chowder, paella mixta, lengua pasta, and queso de bola creme brulee cheesecake, all are great options! 🤩 maybe you can try requesting for more “toasted” paella! 😁 it couldve been better.Make sure you call ahead to know if they have a function because if they do, they can’t accommodate guests. We decided to book their pavillion for our son’s 4th birthday lunch and their services are great!

My client choose to have a course meal for everyone.Friendly staff/waiters.Spacious parking area.

Ysabel Camacho08:04 03/09/23
We went at 12pm on a weekday so not much people. Service was good! Appreciated how fast they filled up our water whenever we drank. Their alfresco area was breezy and shady at the time. Overall food was good. The crispy pork belly adobo wasn't dry . Salad had fresh ingredients. The lumpia was the winner though - tasty and refreshing. I found the sangria a bit expensive for how much we got. About 5 glasses for P1,200. Pesto pasta was good but nothing to write home about. For maginhawa, it's an expensive restaurant but I'd say you're paying more for the atmosphere. There was enough parking for about 6 to 8 cars right in front. If you're lucky, there's more parking on the street.

Yam Dimples14:06 03/04/23
Though there is plenty of parking space, go early to make sure there is available since they tend to be fully booked at Sunday lunch. Has a separate area if you want your large group to have privacy. Very nice ambience. Servers are attentive. Served water as needed and can easily be called on for orders. Fast cooking time and yummy food. Read caption on my photos.
