Looked good online, the ac didn't work,so not off to a good start. The staff were more interested in their phones, so service was absent. The food was lackluster. The coffee was hot black water.

Franklin Roy Ortiz08:28 07/15/23
You get a lot of options to choose from on the menu although some are not available. A relaxing place on a Friday afternoon, quite patient with the aircon. I was billed with service charge but I don't know if it's worth.

Terrence Tan Tze Liang03:28 06/06/23
Service was suboptimal. Got worst when I showed them that the fried chicken was still raw. No apologies from the staff, just monotonously offered to recook..... unacceptable food and service standards.Aeropress k60 Coffee is not bad. Atmosphere is nice. Will not come back. Better place else where.

Ezra Wislang05:34 01/19/23
Overall it was nice. Food was delicious. Menu has a good selection at a fair price. For coffee, ordered a latte and a iced coffee both were great. Service all round is good. Keep in mind this cafe only accepts cash.

Andrei Lauren Nuñez19:20 11/20/21
The restaurant serves all day breakfast. We tried their Chicken and Waffle. Chicken breast was tender and moist inside, it goes perfectly with the sweet waffles. The Chori burger was my favorite. The patty was really good and seasoned well, I would likely order it again. The Fajita sandwich was just ok.The downside is their food is a bit pricey, hence the 3 stars rating.

A little pricey, but it's the best breakfast I've had so far.

Jonathan Truong05:11 04/30/23
Friendly service and delicious food. I recommend the winner winner chicken dinner and the Asian spiced pork bowl. The pineapple juice was great as well. My table of 7 was all satisfied with their food and drinks.

Michael Petr Traldi06:21 04/04/23

Good place and very Euro food, limit seats and good area for those European home sick.

We ordered yesterday via Grab. The farmer's breakfast and baguette were good, the drawback was they gave an expired strawberry jam. My daughter ate it. Jezzz. 1 star for you for now!P.S.: Thanks for the response. That's good to know. All good then. Will edit my ratings.

The Laksa was the bomb. The bread was freshly baked and scrumptious. It is the best place to go for breakfast when you want to start the day on a good note. ☺️

Harold Fredrickson (Travel.Jacksy)12:53 02/15/23
This auspicious coffee shop serves much more than just coffee, as what their name may suggest, beyond beverages and bread.Baking and Whipping up artisan-esque pastries and breads, Cooking fine dishes from various national origins, they serve their products within an aptly comfy and humble decorated store, a quite fine balance between wonderfully made food, and a wonderfully decored ambience, within their small yet also humble space.Their products that are worth noting, for me, were their "Nasi Sambal Goreng", "Bake & More Cajun Sandwich", "Strawberry Peach Danish", and "Blueberry-filled Berliner". All of which passed my taste test with flying colors and flavors, flavors of which I wouldn't expect a store that calls itself a coffee shop could serve. But still, they absolutely compensate for their quality with mighty prices, just as plenty other higher class cafes, restaurants, and other fellow coffee shops do.While I concede and believe they of course have earned their prices, and even still offer special discounts for their breads and pastries in the early evening, it places the coffee shop a tad out of reach from complete and utter perfection of an establishment, in my book. But, to sum up my review,This place deserves their class, offering delicious meals, sandwiches, beverages, and pastries, all of which are exemplary, even against their competitors here in Cebu City.Of course, assuming, you can afford their high prices.Although, a helpful tip for those that wish to spare their wallets by a slight, their breads and pastries have a special discount from 6-8 pm daily. An earned "Must Recommend" for me.

Ella de la Victoria02:07 09/15/22
This place is on the top of my list for breakfasts here in Cebu.Their food is fresh and always perfectly cooked. Great selection of breads too! Most importantly i want to highlight the staff here. Very courteous and polite.Love love the ambience too! I would eat breakfast here everyday here if I could.Thank you Bake & More 🤍

It may be a bit pricey but the food is worth it 🙂We ordered their blueberry french toast, sloppy joe quesadillas, matcha latte and Shirley temple. I can't say anything bad about these dishes. The portions were big and delicious. Can't wait to try the other recommended food. The place is also clean. The only downside is their ventilation.

Kyren Mearr Cabellon10:44 07/04/23
It is quite expensive but the portions are big and delicious. Their brownie is one of my new favorites. They also have an outlet if you want to work or use any devices

Joshua Munoz05:29 06/21/23
Decadent, sweet, creamy saigon coffee egg drop and mocha coffee were great, just wish there was less sugar granules sitting at the bottom of both and it'd be perfect. Great quesedilla too - crispy and creamy in the inside.Cosy cafe with nice vibes and chill music selection. Ample and free parking space for cafegoers before entering Solinea. Wifi works. Will likely go again.

Brent Go12:10 05/02/23
Everything is but it can get real hot inside. Food is big and alright in taste. Service is good. They do not accept credit cards.

Real Customer Reviews at Pancake House Ayala Cebu:

Paul Miller11:25 07/27/23
Food was just ok. I tried several of their tacos and found them much different than how a traditional taco usually is... 🌮 Different type of cheese and different type of taco shelI.I also didn't like that they automatically added an additional "service charge" to my final bill. I think that I should decide on my own what additional tip, if any, that I will pay.

Phil Gab01:07 07/10/23
Food served on time; flavor and servings are what you expect with the "price." Service is NOT ok - biggest letdown specifically is the waiter giving the bill when you're not even halfway with your meal? RUDEEEE 🤭🤓🤡 deserves one star.

ceebuana06:07 05/15/23
This is my fave pancake place. Their pancakes are the best. I always order their classic pancakes with peanut butter 😋

Ayman03:18 03/12/23
Despite the many positive reviews, our experience at this restaurant did not match the expectations of the majority of the 200+ reviewers. We tried the pancakes but found them to be below average, if not outright bad. As a result, we left them mostly untouched and cannot recommend this establishment. However, it should be noted that the staff was very kind, which is why we gave it 2 stars.

Nicolas K07:38 01/06/23
Everything was good except the pancake bites.Restruant is located on the outside terrace level.

Carlo Andrew Olano02:09 06/03/19
For me, this place serves a lot of comfort food. The type of food that makes you happy. Among my favorites here are the tacos, spaghetti, and pan chicken. The pancakes and waffles are phenomenal and perfect for the Pinoy palate. I always love to tag along my parents in law here on a Sunday morning. It's surely is one of my preferred all day breakfast places.

Nov Tagailo13:32 08/10/18
I haven’t been here since two years ago because that was when they first started to change their pricing, sadly the food tasted differently.I decided to come back today because I really crave their pancakes.Hands down their pancakes are the best. I ordered the Banana Macadamia and still they never fail.Surprisingly, their food tasted so great once again. We ordered the Asian Salad, and Tuna SandwichThe place has been renovated this time though it is more spacious. And though is it just a bit more expensive, they have redeemed themselves. After all they are Pancake House. Keep it up guys!

Dawn16:01 05/11/18
Visited the Pancake House today with my Husband - the menu looked decent and as soon as I seen Red Velvet pancakes I had to try.. They do quite a few different things, chicken, tacos, banna splits etc and after having the pancakes today I'll definitely be back! My husband had a chocolate waffle - he really enjoyed that, it was served with cream and peanut butter. My pancakes looked and tasted amazing - check out the picture! The staff were super friendly and nice - even if the service was a little slow - I think that seems to be the way around here though so it's just the norm. Not terrible - just not what I'm used to is all. Oh and at £8 for pancakes, waffle, coffee and coke you can't really complain!

It was my first time here and the food was really good. Servings were also good for two and there was a variety of choices for the drinks. The cakes were also really decadent. Will definitely come back here ❤️

Our favorite go to place!!! Tamp became our most visited cafe this year because of the food, service and ambiance. Every time we try to eat a new food on the menu or drink a new one, tamp never failed to deliver an excellent quality of foods and drinks! ❤️

Trulyjohanna08:11 03/03/23
I ordered my fave Korean Sticky Chicken Bibimbap, carrots werent stir fried. 😐 I love their Angus Beef Cheesesteak, Truffle Mushroom Soup is good though a little salty, Beef Stroganoff is tender. Their cakes are all good and too sweet for me.

Claire Melody15:46 02/18/23
The place is perfect. The food is delicious.I just hope they add more choices in their food menu as its very delicious. The ambiance is great however the place wasa bit small. Will be back for sure. You can order 1 meal and a drink and you'll get a slice of cake for free.

Jessa Marie Pedrola14:32 02/12/23
The place is really nice but a bit busy when we went there for dinner.I ordered their Beef Stroganoff and one of their special egg cloud drink, Chocolate Mousse Cloud. Serving was good and I really liked the taste of the choco mousse cloud. Ordering food + drink made us avail the one peso cake promo. We tried the yema cake and caramel cake and it was heavenly. Would love to try their other cakes soon.Only downside is having no service water. Need to pay for a bottled water.

It's awesome. The food is awesome. They have pancakes, fresh mango juice, donuts, pastries, as well as classic Filipino breakfast fare. The servers come quickly and are always available to help.

Paula Mnm02:21 06/16/23
Place is showing it's age. service were nice, but a little slow. Chilled Orange juice seemed like it was opened for a long time already and tasted fermented.Went there for the grill night, but served with raw pork and a mix up of orders.Food actually taste decent, ofc few choices because of the price range; and it's a hotel. The squid really tasted good. except for the pork that was raw.Overall- Sayang effort to drive there.

Angelyn10:22 06/06/23
Food was generally good, but there were very few choices/cuisines/drinks compared to other known buffets in the city - for me Cafe Bai still sits on top, followed by Feria - and this goes below Vikings (sorry). The dining area was small and dimly lit. Also, the drinks were not part of the buffet - you'd need to pay separately for them, or you can settle with their juices, which were served in very small glasses.Experience was quite underwhelming since I had high expectations since this is Marco Polo.

Rae Pueblos23:53 05/02/23
Always our go to coffee place after dinner, but this time we decided to grab dinner here. The food has big portions and tastes good. The ambiance was amazing, we get a live pianist from time to time while eating dinner. And to end it all, their famous cheesecake is something we will never miss out.

Archiene Mea Sabanal23:05 02/27/23
A world-class experience. They have a wide variety of food. It's a bit more expensive than the usual eat all you can have, but worth the experience.

I love the place and it's vibe. It's clean and a happy place. The food is delicious! The coffee is okay. However, everything is too pricey for me.

Humprey Davad03:55 06/03/23
Tamp is an absolute must-try for foodies looking to satisfy their taste buds with unique and unconventional comfort food. Their menu boasts an incredible array of dishes that are nothing short of gastronomical delights. But what really sets Tamp apart is their incredibly affordable cake price - just 1 Philippine peso for a slice with an order of a main course and drink! From their Salmon Croquettes to their Twin Chops, Tamp Pork Ribs, Chicken Parmigiana, and Glazed Salmon Donburi that we tried, every dish is a delectable masterpiece. But for the ultimate dining experience, make sure to try their Beef Stroganoff, Popeye Smoothie, and Chocolate Blackout Cake - each one is more tasteful and lustful than the last. Trust me, you'll be coming back to Tamp time and time again!

Yuki T03:17 04/16/23
The atmosphere is one of the best cafe I've visited in Cebu but there is no wifi. Good service and food. Cafe latte looks beautiful but taste of coffee is a little plane.

Ghet Garcia23:37 11/08/22
The food and place complement each other. The Piso-cake is such a good deal. Not too crowded and you get to enjoy your food as well

Harvey Villamor09:26 09/24/22
The experience is nice. During this visit, I got the chicken parmigiana, Hong Kong milk tea, and blue berry tres leches cake. For pasta lovers out there, the pasta was cooked Al dente. It is topped with a generous piece of chicken parmigiana. The sauce has a mild tomato taste and topped with lots of cheese. The milk tea on the other hand is very so so. Unremarkable and very forgettable. As for the cake, I was expecting the chiffon to be soaked in milk or at least have a moist cake. It was not as moist as expected. The ambiance is very clean and spacious. It is a bit pricy but you can get cakes for 1 peso as a special promo rate.

This cafe has been here for many years already and has been famous for their beef salpicao - indeed one of the best for me. Lately they have added new dishes to the menu such as the grilled pork chop and it's also good. However, a lot of drinks were not available during my last visit which was disappointing.

John Gomez04:51 03/23/23
Ate here after a good gym sesh from Anytime Fitness. Location is very convenient and vibey at night. Food is great for the price point. However, the biggest let down is the horrible customer servers. Made us feel like we are the biggest inconvenience for them. They sure do their best to avoid eye contact.

So far, the best American and Filipino "breakfast!!!" Plus the place is so cool and comfy, very relaxing kse hindi masyado ma-tao. Can't wait to dine again! 💪💕🙋‍♀️👍

Anton Gabila00:04 12/02/19
Free breakfast here if you check in at Escario Central Hotel. Breakfast options offered are standard: continental, american, and filipino breakfast. The location of the restaurant distances it from the view of the highway traffic, which is good if you just want a quiet place to retreat. This is one hidden gem in Cebu City. They are one of the restaurants who communicate their vision: to craft dishes with hugh quality ingredients for customers who share their passion for good food! Indeed the food is good!

Christian Vincent Literatus05:16 06/05/18
Perfect for brunch with their huge selections of brunch meals. It's a fusion of Filipino and European dishes that will surely please anyone craving those. The pricing is a bit stiff though and the meal might take awhile to serve.
