The bartender was apparently mixing the base liquor with ice in the mixing cup before hand and then scrambled for a few minutes looking for another bottle. So the glass ended up barely had any scent or taste of Scotch in it (also it's so devoid of alcohol I felt like I was completely fine driving home like that). When I confronted him about his actions, expecting some form of acknowledgement, all I received was a dismissive response. He simply stated, "I thought it was finished," without showing any concern. To make matters worse, he refused to provide me with another beer and insisted that I pay for a replacement. It was a clear demonstration of their money-driven approach, caring more about profit than customer satisfaction.Hoping to find some resolution I approached another member of staff and expressed my dissatisfaction. However, to my dismay, my concerns did not matter. It was evident that there is blatant disregard for customer service and an unwavering focus on maximizing profits.I strongly advise others to steer clear of The Local Bar in Hanoi. While it may be busy, don't be fooled into thinking that good service comes along with it. The staff's primary objective seems to be extracting as much money as possible from unsuspecting customers, rather than providing a welcoming and enjoyable experience.
