Martini logo in the menu of course make this place look cheap. They did a great interior, great cocktails - why make it cheap with martini logo on the first page of the menu? Martini is for cheap places with plastic cups on The beach. You will fall off the cliff with such easy money taken from martini but lose the vibe and crowd of people who understand what is top 50 best rating …

This place is truly a gem. The reception was so warm from everyone (including the owner) and the drinks were really delicious. It’s a great pre or post dinner drink spot and I would highly recommend you pay them a visit.

Bongeka Makonjwa07:46 12/18/21
The space is beautiful for a relaxing night out. The drinks are great, especially from the experimental cocktails. If you see sitting on the balcony, you are likely to hear two different styles of music which can be a bit annoying. On my visit, the drinkery was playing smooth jazz but I could hear the pop music from the eatery downstairs.Nonetheless the place is comfortable and the wait stuff friendly.

Cute bar tucked away in a beautiful historical building. The decor is quirky and unique both inside and out. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony which has a view of the courtyard. The drinks are pricey but unique and delicious. A great place to go before heading on to the next spot for dinner.

Spent a lovely evening at this bar. So much more than I expected. Eclectic art, vintage pieces, unique furniture and a great wine list to boot. Filled with wines chosen for very good reason. The host truly makes it an experience. Definitely reccomend this place.

Lots of drink choices (good beer and wine) but a little higher price to other places for a pint and a great spot for a drink in the evening and during the night. I see a few bad reviews about the staff but I personally haven’t had an issue with any staff there. The atmosphere is always and people are generally friendly. The hotdogs are big and delicious and worth the cost!

Keke Lekalakala21:09 07/27/23
On my visit, they only had dry wines. The vibe is amazing though, dancing the whole night.

Slopey Dopey11:27 05/26/23
We had good hotdogs here, but the service was really not good. They brought the wrong orders twice, and we had to wait quite a while to actually get our food. It feels like the staff do not actually care. This place has a nice aesthetic but that's all they have.

Melanie s19:26 03/12/23
Very cute space and great food and coffee, but things took a while to arrive and music is a little loud/overbearing for the morning.

If you love a good breakfast, then here’s the place to be. Great service, we enjoyed our breakfast!

What a great place! Popped in there for a birthday drink and the venue honestly became the highlight of our night. The decor was fun, the music was energising and the bar staff were great. I could have spent all night there and had a blast! Will be back to share the good vibes with more of my friends.

As we were in the area, we stopped here for lunch. New decor and lighting, upmarket atmosphere. Extensive and imaginative menu. Attentive and polite service. The four offerings we had off the menu were excellent and well presented. Quality we will come back for. Keep it up.

Mark Botha11:25 07/09/23
An awesome Sunday lunch surprise. Shocked that there weren't more patrons enjoying the same doting service (thank you Yvonne. Amazing attention & menu insight), delicious - great portions - food & well-priced quality red wine. Perfect vibe if you're looking for a good meal or to relax in comfort. Clean, nice ambiance and again, great service from the staff. Can't wait to return for weekday specials & happy hour! Love the decor (esp if you're from the UK) and was impressed with the cleanliness. Kebab is a great option & calamari schwara a winner.

The Nachos are the best. The food and the vibe are just amazing. The place is family friendly while also being a nice place to have a date at. Would recommend.

Jan Malan13:38 06/23/23
I love this place. We had prawns & Chorizo Pasta, Greg had mushroom truffle pasta! The decor is fantastic. Tempted to come back tonight as they only close at 4am. It turns into a late dance party. Amazing concept. The decor makes me miss London.

Vikash Parbhoo11:58 01/23/23
A great spot for catching a quick lunch or dinner after work as well as for after-hour drinks. The newly refurbished space is sophisticated, laid back and welcoming. The restaurant boasts multiple seating areas - both indoors and outdoors, fit for any large or small occasion.Their meals are delicious and well-flavoured particularly their seafood (calamari) which I’d recommend. Quite a unique menu too, offering well-curated international dishes that are relevant to various countries. They run various drinks specials too, which can be found on one of their social media platforms.

Been to The Gin Bar for various reasons in the past but this time it was for a date and 10/10 for an intimate ambience we sat for hours which felt likes minutes just chatting and giggling.Great spot if you want to chill with friends and have an old town feel in the courtyard. The champagne room next to The Gin Bar is great for a quick celebration or after work social.Definitely recommend. If you worried about prices the gin starts at around R80 but it’s an experience you’re not going to get hammered.10/10!

We stopped by The Gin Bar on a Viator tour of hidden gems in Cape Town. It has an excellent vibe. We were really surprised to see this lively place. I ordered one of the specials - The Blackberry - which consisted of house gin, blackberries, mint, black pepper, lime and F&L Tonic. It was very refreshing. Try place is somewhere I’d definitely return to enjoy more time.

Nestled at back of an unassuming Chocolate store, this rustic shabby chic bar is a must visit. The drinks are great. The vibe is warm.

Loved the view. The toilets are clean. Staff is attentive, and the vibe is great. I do recommend you make a turn there for sundowners or a chilled night out.

Hugo van Vuuren19:53 02/28/23
Very unique and pleasant experience with the most amazing view and a good vibe. Good for a sundowner or meal or just to enjoy a drink.

Faith (Iamfaith)07:09 02/07/23
Beautiful! Beautiful! Loved everything about it. The drinks was great, I'm a non alcoholic so often when I'm out I stick with coca cola but they gave me a great mocktail recommendation which I loved( thanks to the waitress) which brings me to say, I loved the service. The waitress has the same name as me which made me happy, she was really friendly, made us laughed, asked really good questions I would honestly go back to have a conversation with her. The food was okay, we had meat platter I believe, it was plated nicely. I enjoyed it, would definitely go back soon... maybe a lot sooner than I think.
