I have now made a complaint with the SHOP app which will get sent to Airsoft Gateway, but this will probably get ignored along with my emails. I have saw other reviews about the company ignoring emails too so I’m not the only one. Very frustrating too so I’ll be contacting my bank if things don’t get sorted. Came looking for a couple parts (called ahead to make sure they had them because their website says everything is out of stock--they assured me they had the parts), but left with only one overpriced part (50% markup over purchasing direct from the manufacturer or any other major airsoft supply store).I also made sure to ask about their return policy because I read online that some people encountered issues when trying to install the part (FYI, their return policy only allows for items with defects from the manufacturer to be exchanged), but the staff assured me that it would work and that he had built many guns on the same platform using that same part. Lo and behold, when it came time for me to put everything back together, the part that I bought did not fit without modification.My last complaint is that I didn't even get acknowledged when I entered the store. A "Hi, I'll be right with you" would have been nice.TL;DR I should have just kept doing what I've always done, which is give my patronage to larger, more reputable retailers like AEX and Evike.P.S. Don't bother with the "Contact Us" link on their website. I still haven't gotten a response to my email. You're better off calling them--if you're like me, you'll get a rude/curt response, but at least you'll get a response. Paid at least 30% more than everywhere else for a battery and charger. Said they could wire to deans for me. Been 2 weeks of getting jerked around saying "it's up next". Because it was around closing time.I told the gentleman that we wanted to make a purchase but didn’t know what to buy exactly.We learned a lot about airsoft from other customers outside waiting in line.I’m not exaggerating when I say we were given 5 mins to get what we needed and get out.I spent over $300 in all of 7 mins total.We were given a fast summary of how to load and then out the door.The associate said we could return the guns so long as we had the receipt and box.The AR was too heavy for my son and when we took it to Tac city they wouldn’t let my son use it with modifications that cost more $.So the guns been in the box till last week when my son called at 3:01 and asked if he could return it. They said yes for store credit. So I drove him there. We checked when they closed and the web said 6.I got there at 5:40 and the doors were locked. One guy came out and said he remembered talking to my son on the phone. Then another came out and said no returns. And we’re trying to see who talked to you.I explained the situation and they said no returns after 30 days.That was the 1st I heard about the return policy. He told me the gun needs to be damaged for a return.I asked for the email of someone who could explain because I was given wrong information twice already.He said the owner doesn’t like being bothered w this info and to call zack the manager. He works Thursday thru Sunday. But that he doesn’t think zack will do anything to help me either.Mind you the store should of still been open for us to browse cuz I needed to get gear for my son.Anyways my son was embarrassed because every excuse brain gave me I counter questioned. Not for any other reason except we had been given different information from the other members of the sales team.I’m looking to spend a lot of money in their store and the two times I’ve been there I was rushed out of their store.I work till 5 Monday thru sat. And I realize the covid situation has changed things.I’ve left 3 messages for zack on the number listed under google.He has not called me back.The store is a 30 min drive from my home and I don’t have the time to keep driving there and then being closed 30 mins before their actual closing.I’d like to speak to someone about the return I was promised as store credit and now Can’t do by Brian.I don’t want to leave a negative reply. I’ve given these guys every opportunity to help me and still have received nothing.Somehow I doubt the owner (who doesn’t want to be bothered by his customers) appreciates his staff closing when a guaranteed $200 plus sale walks up to the door 30 mins before closing.And if sacks in charge of dealing with customers so the owners not bothered by customers given false information from his staff. Maybe zack needs to call the customer back after3 polite messages left during 3 separate days during business hours before a really good customer walks away and let’s all the businesses in the area who sell airsoft and have airsoft know how this business is operating.They close early, give different information about returns by every employee, rush customers out of the store who are spending large amounts of $ and give them misleading information, there’s no posting on the receipt about returns. Maybe there is in the store but I was only allowed 5 mins in the store before being rushed out, after going there twice, they don’t return calls even when left and marked urgent and they clearly have no concern or appreciation for new paying customers who are willing to spend a lot of money getting into the sport they sell. henry’s Hobbies
