It's our first time dining in their Pasig branch. The place is small, but they have plenty of chairs. The crews are also accommodating, and just like with the Marikina there are a lot of cats here that will go near you while you eat. We ordered Roast Beef Pares, Honey Garlic chicken, and some pancakes. The Pares are so dry and chewy; it's very different from the Marikina Branch pares. The Honey Garlic Chicken is delicious as always, as is the pancake. And PS they only accept cash here.

Had a great dining experience here. Although I thought they had tapa flakes before now its tuyo but the tuyo flakes tasted pretty good as well and their tapa is so tender! Will definitely dine here again.

As a person who loves breakfast meals at any time of day, Kanto Breakfast is a must try!I especially love their PuDaEsDi - Pusit, Daing, Espada, Dilis. I just wasn't able to finish everything, not becasue I didn't like it but because their serving was big. Super sulit! 👌Their Crispy Pork Belly is also good, nothing too special, but still good. 😊They also serve desserts like ice scramble, but be sure to have it served later 'cause it melts easily so you might as well have it served when you're ready to eat it.Their price is reasonable for the quality of food that they serve. They might take time when serving your food cause their place is almost always full. 😊We went there past 10pm and they still had a lot of customers. Mejo mainit din sa area kasi outdoor yun, but maybe because summer na rin kasi. All in all, still good. 👍

The Kapitolyo Branch was a first time for me and still impressed with overall consistent in taste and quality. Recommendations are:Vigan LongganisaDaing na BangusFluffy PancakesAnd yes do try their homeblended iced teaEvery bite was even made better for the fair pricing and generous serving👍🏻😋Parking can be abit of a challenge but the Security Guard guides you to areas where you can park. Also love the quiet and quaint ambience which you only experience while in the Kapitolyo Area. For a hearty weekend brunch, Kanto Freestyle is definitely one of the top places I personally recommend. Best part is that the place is pet friendly too 🐶

The quintessential Kapitolyo diner. My favorite breakfast place that made me fall in love with this neighbourhood. I love the “create your own” breakfast concept. You can mix and match dishes to your liking; you are not confined to typical silog set meals. My favorite is tuyo flakes with kesong puti. I can pair it with anything (e.g., rice, sandwiches, omelettes) or papak it as it is. The spamdesal is the perfect breakfast slider. It’s a complete meal. I like that they drizzle their signature pesto dressing in just about everything. Kapeng Kano is my favorite bev, but their own iced tea blend comes very close second. The place has a low-profile, non-intimidating vibe. The staff (including manong guard) are always polite and friendly. You’ve never been to Kapitolyo unless you’ve visited Kanto Freestyle.

Good food plus good companion is a worth experience. Had our quick dinner here, serves food as quick as possible without sacrificing the quality of the food! Great works means better service! Thanks for making our dining experience wonderful with Kanto Freestyle

It expensive for a price meal without coffee, this day poor serving at lunchtime only 1 server. “non-aircon” Roasted beef tapa - very very tough n taste like jerky but real tough n it a breakfast resto but all meal don’t include coffee n can’t get over! Breakfast meal without ☕️ coffee

Sayaka Kondo02:01 09/02/22
I wanted to try all their food! Reasonable price and good quality of Filipino food. Highly recommended.

Patrick D05:16 08/21/22
Dined at this location recently for breakfast. The restaurant has a decent sized dining area and a nice ambiance. The menu was vast. I ordered the crispy corned beef while the others ordered the New Zealand beef option and it tasted good. Area is nice and quiet around Kapitolyo and the menu items are priced well being a good place for cheap eats!

Great food

Gems Gonzalez06:11 06/23/17
We were brought to this place because Cafe Juanita was full. It is located right beside Cafe Juanita. The impressive fusion of Mediterranean and Filipino interior in Cafe Juanita is adopted in this place but a bit less. We love its mushroom soup and Thai chicken. The latter is tender and juicy. It's hakaw (shrimp dumpling) is mediocre. It looked grate because the dumpling wrapper was almost transparent but it had a bit of orange stuff inside with the shrimps. Its liempo (grilled pork belly) was too sweet. Its Thai milk tea is great. We enjoyed the halo halo for dessert.

It is now called All Day Irving's Dining. Same owner of Cafe Juanita and Breakfast at Juanita's. Try Their Beef Kansi. And Pinoy Pork Barbeque. Fantastic. Kiddo Loves the traditional Burger and Siomai. You'll love the Retro Dining Experience. Cool Retro stuff on display. Ambiance is very homey.

As for me, I gave them 5 stars because of how the food in their buffet tasted, as well as on how they prepare the set-up of the buffet. I am not the type who will look for other cuisines in a buffet and I don't like to be overwhelmed about it. What Astoria Cafe offered to us during our dinner is enough for us to know what they are serving and how delicious the food was.

Kal GeC11:53 08/04/19
Love the place...but not as accessible as other hotels

HABD07:38 07/06/19
The breakfast buffet was great! Though quite a few options still not bad for a hotel standard. I also loved their brewed coffee and Bibingka! The combination I didn't know I needed in my life, it was so good! Definitely must try.

Renz L16:41 03/31/19
Tried the cafe astoria dinner buffet in ortigas and it was ok. Just a handful of mains, so dont expect a grand buffet.I liked the bulalo soup, not too greasy and just right. It has salad choices and red ice tea included.Pomelo and peach mini cocktail salad is good. The fruits definitely has a generous portion and it looks and tastes fresh and sweet.I believe there's a handful of choices of desserts like cheesecake (more like mamon), eclair and tiramisu are ok.I didnt like the padthai because it was too dry. They also have breads but a little harder than expected. The main meat is the chuckroll which is the highlight supposwdly but it was 85%fats (or atleast what was served to me).Overall it is ok.

Should be 4.5 and everything is perfectly right· The beef is a miss even though they replaced it once. Nothing's wrong with the chef and they could simply find a better supply.

A little bit on the pricier side. I always get their honey glazed sticky pork rice bowl. Store has a nice ambience and equipped with a few electric outlets, can be a nice place to do some work if you’re on WFH mode.

Marc Cua08:57 03/04/23
Would recommend. Prices are very fair. Service was fast and food was delicious. The place is perfect for the grove rockwell residents who dont have time to cook and just want to have a quick meal in a chill place. Staff are nice but the indian waiter is a bit too quiet

Hamil Shi04:38 01/09/23
The place not only shows relaxation, but tranquility as well. Good and healthy food at reasonable prices. We really enjoyed our food and drinks to the fullest without the guilt. There were no perky msg's, only true tasting, organic and fresh servings. And, we preferred the al fresco area, because of the cool weather at that time. The tables may not be very convenient to place the servings, but since there were few diners at that time, we occupied more tables,so as to feel comfortable. Coffee is also perfect. It would be nice for us to go back here!😍

Belinda Nantes20:45 08/29/22
Unexpectedly good! I was just randomly browsing Food Panda app and I am looking for a soup that would complement my budget. After checking out some options, The Gardens seems to be promising with their menu so I ended up gettin’ sweet potato fries and pasta (and the pumpkin soup). All were satisfying and am glad to have tried this resto. Lookin’ forward to eat here dine-in.

Raul, Jr. Gonzalez08:42 05/22/22
My first ever visit in this restaurant. A few items on the menu were unavailable. Nontheless, I still enjoyed the Mushroom Truffle Soup, and the Truffle Angus Beef Steak. The soup tasted and felt like real mushrooms were used. It wasn't the creamy puree type I sometimes encounter in cheap restaurants; but the real deal. You can still feel bits of the mushrooms that were used in the processor. The Angus beef steak was just the right portion size for me; 250 grams (around 9 ounces). And the chef cooked the steak as I asked; medium rare. The price, the size, and the flavor made this steak great value for money.

A bit pricey but totaly worth it. The servers are really nice and attentive. Service is very fast! They have huge portions of servings which is great. Quality of food is very good, taste is very good. All in all it will be a 5/5 rating. Will highly recommend this place. Would definitely go back. Their shabu shabu is just the best!

ia likes_eats_travels22:26 05/27/22
Met up with family to practice swimming before our out of town trip. The restaurant had several seats available. We ordered shabu shabu beef platter, pan-seared salmon, and beef salpicao. Order took almost 40 minutes to arrive. A concierge approached us to ask about our food. We informed him that there is no food to rate since it has not arrived yet. He thought that since some members of our group is eating and everyone has been served. We informed him that we arrived at different times so some of our group have ordered ahead. He said he will ask the kitchen to follow up. You can pay via credit card and cash. The servers are courteous and helpful. There is ample space for a small family to have a sit-down meal. If your group has more than 6 people then you might have to split the group to occupy two tables. Parking is available in the Ace Water Spa and Hotel.

Drake Hogestyn00:21 09/02/19
Offers just enough buffet food choices. One side is high glass window/wall separating Ace water spa which gives a view of the spa facilities.

Our weekend thing pancakes and omelette ☺️just this place needs a big renovation! From overhauling of AC , cleaning sticky floors and deteriorating tables and chairs.Staff needs to have a refresher course on servicing food with clean plates from refilling water and coffee.

Andrea Aviado04:08 05/01/23
Went here several times already and there are some things that can be improved such as the worn-out seats and restroom that seemed to be overlooked when it comes to cleaning and maintenance. Food was okay though some dishes tasted a bit bland for me. Service of servers are also good.

Elaine De Los Santos07:12 03/07/23
This place serves one of the best fried chickens. Crispy, juicy, and no lansa. You can even taste a bit of calamsi (probably from its marinade). You don’t even have to dip it in the gravy. The almondigas soup was a perfect starter. The hearty soup and boucy meatballs will warm and open up your belly (and heart! charot!). I like sipping on their brewed coffee (with one refill) to cap a meal. The staff were nice, but it seemed like they were not too enthusiastic to serve. The place was clean and played wonderful nostalgic songs in the background.

Hepeng Kalbo06:26 07/30/22
Food & service was good, the place seems a little warm when we went there the other day...

Quite crowded on Sunday mornings but the number of customers taper off after breakfast hours. Food and service are good and I like the store layout. Tables are arranged in a way that people can converse comfortably.

Food is good (we loved the pesto tomato!), but service is super slow because they're understaffed. There was only 1 staff in the kitchen making all the food - both dine in orders and online orders. We dined in for breakfast, and waited >30mins for our food. Atmosphere is so-so, nothing special. I also had their caramel macchiato. Too milky and sweet for me, but okay. Would give 1 star for service but added 1 more star because they let us in with our pet. Please add more kitchen staff. 🥲

L L08:51 06/26/23
Dined here on a Saturday. Nothing will match the taste of their Honey Garlic Chicken (matched with tomato pesto and garlic aioli). If only I can order only the chicken skin 🤤 service was slow since there was only one cook, but food tasted good. Hope they could fix what needs to be improved for a better atmosphere ☺️

It was my first time eating here with my friend. The food is incredibly good with a reasonable price. I had my tapsilog but in an elevated version, and my friend had his honey garlic chicken.
