Unfortunately, we left disappointed with the quality and overall value for money. The scones were hard and the macroons were chewy. Most of the sweet delights on the trays were not up to standard however, the savory eateries were quite delicious. The atmosphere is lovely and staff is friendly however, I think it should be mentioned before hand that 15% gratuity will be added to your total especially when the industry standard is 10% - and the waitress barely made it our table, she was at most 2 times at our table of 7 and were seated for quite some time. Tea/coffee was not included in price per person because it was mother's day but the eateries do not change? Again, should be mentioned upfront. In my opinion this just sounds like VS is profiting on the Mother's day celebration by cutting back on the usual standards. The atmosphere is pleasant and it felt really festive other that. To our surprise he just came and made double sure that we MUST KNOW that they are closing @ 15:00.I said to him bro, relax we just sat down, there is still more than an hour left, what's the rush?Why are you guys telling us this over and over? We are here because we're hungry, to eat, not to come and party... Jeez!He said yes, he just wants to make sure we place our orders quickly...I looked at my wife and our child, and we all felt VERY uncomfortable, and we all said at the same time, let's leave!!!This place will NEVER see me again!Don't worry waiters you can rest assured we won't stay after 15:00, beter yet we won't stay at all.
