The massage was great, Brenda was amazing. Despite it being 30 min, however I was not aware when she offered deep tissue that it was an 15% additional charge. Until at check out, I noticed they were charging me $90 for a 30 min massage. They corrected the price and it ended being $60.The main reason I’m writing this review however, is the manicure I received. Unfortunately, it’s probably the worst I’ve had to pay for. I would have done a better job. She did things backwards, on her phone, smudging the base, applying way to much polish. Even scratching on of the nails with her own acrylic set. She had just graduated high school. She squeezed some fast drying drops and just left me there. No driers. No sit here while you wait. I sat down in the waiting area anyway. But because there was so much polish it took all day to dry down. So as I reached for my wallet to pay and tip, the polish moved. As I had dinner and went about my day. Today, my polish looks like a high schooler did it. It complete moved and smudged. And I am so disappointed because I paid $88 over all, not including tip. At least $100 for services that were not worth the cost to say the least. Now I’m flying home to NYC with lumpy nails. Save your money. My polish has bubbles in it and when I told the person they just brushed me off. I also feel like not a good job was done as far as cuticle removal. It has been years since I had come back but decided I'd give it a try again even if my hairstylist no longer worked there. I booked a cut and color for myself and a cut for my 5 year old daughter. My cut and color came out nice. Not exactly what I wanted but she did a good job. My daughter got another stylist and she left her hair super choppy. Her hair looked unfinished and when I mentioned it to her she just nodded said ok and went back to the client she was working on before my daughter. I later mentioned it to my hairstylist and she ask for my daughters stylist to fix it, and the receptionist stated that she had already left for the day. I was upset at the sad excuse of a haircut my daughter was left with but said that's fine. Before we left my stylist offered to fix it and I greatly appreciated. Sadly the quality was just not what I was hoping for. Will not be returning. I was expecting master stylists and that's not what we got. I previously had a balayage that I’ve let grown out (and quite frankly wasn’t taking care of). I was paired with Johnny, who was not only the sweetest, he did AMAZING work! Johnny gave my hair a very elevated look. We talked the majority of the time while he worked so effortlessly. Marisela is the one who is helping me with my skin journey and she is doing a great job. She listens to what your concerns are and helps you achieve your goals. I had a CO2 laser procedure done like 2 weeks ago and I have noticed a big improvement in the texture and the look of scars that I have. I have had dark hair on my face and chin since highschool and have tried everything. After one session, I went from shaving every other day to only having to shave twice in a month (hair that returned was thinner). Irma does an amazing job as well as explains the process before you have it done and ensures to inform you about after care after each session. I wish I had done it sooner! So how can a laser tech be so ignorant? I stayed quiet and never went back to finish the package I bought. She never asked if the laser worked for me, it’s just in and out to take the next person.
