There is ayurvedic treatment and the Maldivian massage treatment.The treatment massage I got was Sarvaak Massage in which they massage the whole body using palms, arms and elbows with there special massage oil.Other treatment was foot and leg massage in which they do the massage for leg and foot part, which you require at the end of your visit.Their special araamu massage is the Araamu Theyo Dheman which helps to rejuvenate the energy of the body, relaxes stiff muscles and improves elasticity of the skin.Make sure if you want to enjoy the visit at Sun Island Resort and Spa, have a Massage at Araamu Spa.I have added some pictures of their interiors and you must try their ginger tea, it's refreshing. You can also buy their products like their scrub which will help you to reduce the skin tan and their peppermint essential oil, it relieves the area of pain on the body, on application. I chose the heavy/strong pressure option and she was AMAZING. I have always chosen this option at various massage salons, the therapists would not be able to deliver a consistent contact on my body or a consistent pressure. Padma, however did. Josmin, Tracy, Nala, and my husband's masseuse (we for got her name) were all very pleasant each time we saw them inside the spa and outside the spa.
